Chewbacca72 and I are traveling during 4 months through Singapore, Australia and New Zealand. A few caches that are on our way should not be missing. This cache is one of them. Many thanks to skullznxbones now G-2 for hiding.Best regards, searchersab
Heading south along the Kaipara Highway with rattll, after a week in Northland. We pulled over to admire the view before making a quick search for the cache. Log dry, no problems. Signed, and returned as found. Tftc!
Slowly making our way back towards Hamilton and the end of our couple of weeks 'Northland get away'.We're picking up some caches as we go (as you do).A quick stop and another 'smiley' bagged! Thanks for putting this here
Heading home after a couple of nights at Atiu. I couldnt stop in the way up as there were some riders here. Pulling in to the car park it was all quiet, then the rubbish collector arrived so we had to use a bit of stealth.
Dear Owner, please excuse the one-size-fits-all log, but we will try to summarize our experiences in a few words, which is almost impossible in this beautiful country. Our route took us from Frankfurt am Main via London and Hong Kong to Auckland, where we spent 3 wonderful weeks on the North Island of New Zealand. After spending the first two days at the other end of the world in Auckland to get used to the 12-hour time difference, we spent the rest of the time criss-crossing the island in our fantastic camper van. The nature and landscape here is simply uniquely beautiful. We drove a good 2500km, saw beautiful, lonely beaches, visited impressive waterfalls, were at the foot of a volcano, visited ancient trees and enjoyed the wonderful views of nature again and again. Of course, we also searched for, found and logged a few geocaches along the way, looked at geolgical features and tried to complete the owner's tasks. For us, it was an all-round perfect vacation that we will remember for a very long time and we will certainly come back here again if we can. Thanks to the owner and best wishes from Germany Fantalismus
Not a good day for a ride or drive, but I found myself here, was being nice and pulled over to let cars passed, just thought I'd check to see if there was a cache, last lookout didn't have one, this one does, so out in the pouring rain to find it, was easy, tftc
Just passing by and thought I’ll check the view and Lo and behold there was a cache TFtc
Such a long range view from this vantage point. Even with the muggles on site, I was able to do a sneaky find and replace.
Happened to stop here for a leg stretch whilst doing a long drive today, and thought I'd see if there were any caches nearby. Upon checking the map, I realised I was almost standing on it. Haha. Had a laugh and made a very quick find.
Thanks!
Thanks!
On a scenic route from Auckland to Whangarei, we decided we needed a quick stop sometime soon, and within a few minutes came upon this tiny rest stop. I went to take some photos of the view, while my sister decided to see if there were any caches nearby. And found one almost underfoot!
Put a smile on our faces, and an unexpected extra smiley on our maps! TFTC!

Driving north bound while trying to avoid as much traffic as we could brought us through this scenic route. Very nice view & tftc
Found on our way to the airport. It's our last Day in NZ. Thanks for placing this cache. Beautiful view.
We were heading south towards Kaukapakapa for a night and stopped at this spot for a quick stretch and to have a look at the view. I hadn't loaded this cache specifically, but every time we stopped somewhere I would consult my app to see whether there were any caches in the immediate area. This one popped up. How fortuitous.
A quick find in the anticipated place. Signing duties were completed and then the cache was returned as found. By that time the others were ready to continue our journey to our next port of call.

My kiwi host was taking the entire extended family to Mangawhai for a couple of days at the beach pre Christmas. With the long drive stops were limits to just this one place to take great views.
Despite the muggles around this was an easy find.
It was worth the stop for the beautiful view.

On our way back from piha, took the scenic route back. Lovely day for it! What a view!!!
Out with team Gold today (0B80B8 and LisCrew) collecting a few caches in the area.
The first cache of the day with great views. TFTC

Today I was on a mission as part of Team G0LD to Te Rau Puriri Regional Park on South Kaipara Head, to hopefully clear all the caches there and as many more as possible on the peninsula.
Travelling down highway 16 on the way there, this one was a quick pull over and find, even if my glasses did fog up badly in the very warm humid conditions after getting out of the cache mobile. TFTC

We pulled over for a breather on our journey north and I was pleased to find out that there is a cache here.
It was a quick find and all in good order. Thanks for the cache.

Not a 100% dry but not bad either. Fantastic view abs wouldn’t have stopped if not for the cache. TFTC
A nice quick find thanks. A lovely view for up here. Cheers.
Ms_KR and I are on a wee break to find some of the Northern PW GeoTour caches. Today we cruised from back to Auckland. We had some showers, but the day was mostly fine. Still a lovely day for driving and caching. We knew that we were getting close to Auckland as the traffic was heavy.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Had this one loaded into my GPS for a previous visit but too many muggles about.
Didn’t get to admire any views unfortunately, it was 7pm. A quick hunt in the dark with my torch revealed it’s location.

Heading home from the north. Today thought I’d try SH 16 rather than 1, and get some caches. All good here. TFTC
Quick find here on our way back to Auckland via Helensville after grabbing a couple of PWGT FTFs. Great view from here. I think this si the 3rd or maybe even 4th cache I have found at this lookout over the years! TFTC!!!
Me and FMZ pulled into here on our way home, we have started the brand new PWGT caches, which have come out today, and we got FTF on both of them to start the tour. That's not a bad start! Love the views from up here, I also love panoramas too which I have added to this page, thanks for bringing us here.
Travelling this way to avoid SH1 traffic. Stopped for the view and the kids said “is there a geocache here?” Turns out there is! Choice
Rainy day, last day of vacation. We came back the long way. Our first cache was not searched as it was pouring rain. I thought this would be a good one to find between drops. No view here today this morning only clouds. I got out and immediately spotted it. All good here, both container and logbook were in good condition. Thanks for placing this here.
Heading up to Whangarei to visit a family member....Came up via Helensville as had to drop some birthday gifts to granddaughter at Woodhill.
This was my first cache find today.
I remember a previous one being here many years ago.
Not such a good view today as foggy.
Easy find thanks...

The elder Future Finder and I are heading North for a family Boxing day event and we decided to take State Highway 16 for a change. As I neared GZ this cache didn't pop up on the screen of my GPSr (it must have fallen between the crack of my Auckland and Northland pocket queries). But, I was using this hide as a marker of sorts to guide me towards Port Albert. I opened up the app on my phone and made my way to GZ. Turns out I was familiar with this spot as I recall that I found a previous cache here, years ago now. I found the container in the second spot I checked. Cheers for the cache placement!
Drove past and a couple of bikers were parked right at GZ. Instead of crossing the road to park the car, decided to carry on down the road a little bit to safely turn-around and come back. By this time the bikers had moved on and I had GZ to myself. A quick find at GZ. Signed the log and grabbed the TB. Thanks for the cache.
A shame about the weather, no doubt there is a good view on a fine day. We enjoyed the road.
One of three caches today that I avenged previous DNFs. No worries at all today and a clear enough day to admire the view on offer.
Weekend is here again and time to stretch the legs, unfurl the wings and spark up the motor on the geo-car. The target for today was going to be Mangawhai Heads, a first visit to this place for both of us. We were doing a recce to check out future viability of meeting up with our son from Maungatapere as a half-way meet and wanted to check out the route, distance and beaches. And was pleased with what we found. Great area nd we pushed on to Langs Beach afterwards and headed back home via Waipu Cove and SH1.

Always a good place to stop when travelling through here. A bit windy today so no one around. Quick find. Tftc
Out for a drive down this way with kids. Stopped in here to snap a couple of pics. Got cache at the same time. Nice views, tftc.
Quick find, amazing view! Wouldn’t have stopped if not for the cache, thank you for placing it here
I was heading down from Paihia to Rotorua for the special event on Saturday. I was stopping overnight at my sons in Auckland so I decided to take the back route and grab some caches along the way.
I've stopped at this view before and also wondered why it didn't have a cache. Well that's fixed now. It was a a bit of a wet overcast day so not a great view today but last time it was nice. A quick easy find thanks and I was pleased to be second to find

I was heading up North this morning to see my father and had noticed this come out yesterday but more importantly, the FTF was still available this morning. Unfortunately while driving up, I distractedly had driven passed it before I realised and with the muggle wife on board, there was no way I was gonna be able to turn around to grab this.
So I carried on up North and had lunch with the old man before heading home mid afternoon. Coming down SH16, I saw that the FTF still hadn't been taken and I soon pulled into the lookout with high hopes. I first had to enviously drool over two Ducatis and an Indian before making a quick find with.....A Blank Log!!! WooHoo!! [FTF] #59 TFTC
