Was an easy find that myself, my 4 kids and younger brother enjoyed looking for
I was up in Toowoomba for my school reunion today and I had come up early to find a few caches beforehand. After signing the nearby challenge I decided to come and look for this one but it turned out to be quite challenging to navigate through the streets and get close to the park. Once here I wandered down to GZ and started poking around the trees. Eventually I found the cache hidden under the leaves. Cache and log are in good condition. Thanks for the cache doscrapbooking!
Out and about on the weekend, ticking off some new smileys in the area. Quick stop and go here at the bus depot! Found easy, watch out for snakes and spiders!! Covered the cache with a bit of camo before we wandered off. TFTC! Found with Coleslaw867
Day 122 of our greynomad trip up north from Vic which started in June, and day 121 of a streak. With QOGM done and dusted for it's final year we are heading the caravan towards home, well sort off. Goal is to tick off LGA's, and having claimed the closest to Toowoomba yesterday, we are taking it easy around town. Was about at GZ when ole mate from nearby spoke to me, had to tell him what I was doing, he seemed interested, but don't think he will be giving it a crack. Made sure I said my husband was in the car, he seemed a bit dodgy.TFTC TB's visited
We found the empty container lying loose on the ground at the fence. Put in a new log sheet. Hide it as best as possible. Thanks
I've been spending far too much time recently, perched in front of my computer while planning my geocaching activities for an upcoming overseas trip. I was therefore keen to have a day outside in the fresh air and Crookedpete willing participant to join me for the outing to Toowoomba.I was able to pull off a lengthy to-do list from my pre-sorted database and we gradually worked our way through our targets, including this one. After bright sunshine this morning, the skies had turned overcast by late afternoon and actually started to drizzle as we headed to GZ. No problems making the find. TFTC
Today, Seffnjarah and I decided on a road trip to Toowoomba to smash out some caches on the to do list.
Just starting to rain when we arrived here. it was a short dash to GZ where thankfully a nice quick find was made. Returned as found. All in good order. Thanks doscrapbooking and Brother Colin.

Haha, totally overlooked GZ, just thought it was another thing you see daily in Newtown/Wilsonton. Nice and easy though, took us 10 minutes. Otherwise all in good order.

Up the hill for the day, car is in for service, we had loan car. Yippee, we dont have to pay for the fuel. Now, what can we do on a day like this?
Out to Wellcamp to solve a puzzle.... couldnot work it out, over to the other airport to solve a puzzle, worked it out, but not sure about the finals, cos it did not match the description. So just a settled on some trads instead.....
So happy to say, that we finally found one today! Easy find after a short walk. Thanks doscrapbooking and Brother Colin

Found the lid to the cache sitting in the grass near GZ but no container to be found or log to sign. Put the lid at the gz.
Had a bit of extra time this morning so went to hunt down this cache. Parked on the street and kept an eye out for magpies. Thankfully the maggies are non existant in this park. Found easily signed and on my way.

Staying in Toowoomba for a few days. A lovely winter day so we headed out to find some caches of course. No real surprise but lots of traipsing up and down hills through long grass, quite exhausting for these grey nomads.

Buried it in the shrubs a bit to make it a little less visible, and left a few goodies behind. Tftc.

The paint is coming off the lid on this one, which may make it too easy to see. TftC.
We headed on in this nice stretch of Parkland.
We are staying couple of days in Toowoomba, filled with sightseeing, relaxing and caching! Beautiful combination.
Today we explored Drayton and North Toowoomba. We climbed couple of times trees, we fished and read about the history. Activities and fun and learning.

This park is eerily similar to where I grew up, close to a bus depot and a park with a painted brick wall with a line on it! TFTC Brother Colin and Doscrapbooking

On our wayback home from Cunnamulla after overnighting in Dalby. After finding a few caches on Oakey, we came to this part of Toowoomba to collect a few before time ran out to get back home safely.
Enjoyed the parks!

All good here.
Thank you doscrapbooking.

More of an aborted mission than a DNF with this cache, I couldn't spot the cache from the ground so climbed the tree, a magpie didn't like my presence in the tree and then a few children from a nearby house came over and stood under the tree to see what I was doing.......
Time for me to move on......
Time for me to move on......
Finally got around to grabbing this one on my way to work this morning. Had searched for this one previously but wasn't any chop at searching in a 20m radius. With updated coords I walked straight up to it and wondered how I missed on the first try. All good with this one. TFTC doscrapbooking

Today was the second day of my little journey to outback Queensland. While I’m not in a hurry, I do have a list of caches that I do want to collect along the way and probably some extras as I see fit. It won’t be hard to continue my challenges of a trad a day and a cache a day challenges for the next few days, I am also hoping to pick up a few new challenges along the way and some target caches too.
My plans today were to walk the caches of Mt. Peel and then head west, plus grab a couple of extras as I passed by. After my walk I started back to my list of target caches of Toowoomba and beyond hoping to make it to Dalby by night fall.
Not sure how many are in this series but I did get a few while here. Nice little walk around the area dividing industry and housing.
All good with this cache and with it found and log signed I returned it as found, thanks for placing it here, now it’s time for a couple others in Toowoomba before heading west.

1MinnieMoo and I were in town grabbing some new Adventure Labs. We thought it might be a hoot to work on some souvenirs as well.
Another quite - near empty park for us to cache in today. We neared GZ and 1MinnieMoo found the cache without too much problems. We signed the log and moved off. TFTC doscrapbooking and Brother Colin for the maintenance

Out around Toowoomba with Fangsoki grabbing Adventure Labs and some trads for the Wonders of the World souvenir promo, and this was the one I needed to complete my mission.
We made the short journey around to GZ, with me wondering along the way what “Bugs For Bugs” was all about (the business nearby).
A quick dash in and out of the bushes, souvenir collected and we were off for some more for caches to complete Fangsoki’s mission.
Thanks for the cache doscrapbooking.

I had been here not long after it had been placed. I was searching in the wrong place. See now that the co-ords had been changed. It was easy to get the smile this time
Another day to top up and was looking for a cache not too far away. I actually went elsewhere but there were muggles sitting within metres of GZ! Noooo!!! A quick scan of the app and I was very relieved to find I still had this one left...was thinking I needed to go for a drive. Arrived at GZ and scanned the area and overlooked the obvious initially. Once I removed the blindfold it was a straightforward find. TFTC doscrapbooking.
