Logs
Last time we were in Ballarat this cache was missing. Today I saw it before we parked, making for a very quick find. To add to our luck a petrol tanker parked to deliver fuel screened me from those in the building and cars fuelling up! Thanks for maintaining this cache and enabling me to get rid of a blue face on my map here Equipt22.
Cache removed for maintenance and a refresh. Should be back online by the end of October.
----------### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUESTED PLEASE** ###----------Hi there Equipt22,It looks like this cache might need some attention, as one or more seekers have indicated there is some sort of issue. The recent logs may contain more details about what sort of issues are evident. The cache has been [**temporarily disabled**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=235), so as to remove it from search listings and discourage people from visiting this location, until the issues/s can be addressed.**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days,** so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.#What you need to do:-#You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-- **Check On The Cache** - once checked, place an Owner Maintenance log and then enable the cache.- **Place A Write Note Log** - indicating a date when you expect it will be restored. - **Adopt Out or Archive** - depending on whether you want it kept or for it to disappear.Full details for each of the above choices can be found at [**GEOCACHE MAINTENANCE**]( https://wiki.groundspeak.com/display/GEO/Victoria) on the Regional Policies page. You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of the above. Well, when the cache is next checked by a Reviewer, if the issue has not been addressed, or there is no acknowledgment as requested above, it will be assumed the cache has been abandoned. It would be far better if you decide, so please do something before then. Please don't send an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above. Thanks for your cooperation,Bunjil (Pete & Helen)Volunteer Reviewers - Australia[3B]
The name is a very helpful clue. We found it quickly, but you could definitely overlook the cache itself. Nice quick fun - thanks for the cache!
3rd time looking, didn't find it. Came with a previous finder & she said it was missing.
On our way to Adelaide for the Great Leap Forward event I decided to try to find this cache. The location was easily find, but a thorough search and comparison with previous photos taken it was apparent that the cache is missing. Ill check next time Im up in Ballarat.
Searched for a few minutes without success. Looking at previous photos, GZ has changed and I have a feeling that the cache is missing, unfortunately.
A quick find here today of a nicely camod cache This week I decided to head to Victoria for a few days to target finishing off the Ballarat Geotour and also find the new series in St Arnaud, anything else was a bonus. I ended up finding a little over 300 caches plus a tonne of ad labs along the way. Thanks for the cache
Having attended a recent event in Brisbane where a fellow cacher brought my attention to the geo tour in Ballarat and its up coming finish in February, i knew this was something I had to make an effort to get to.I also quickly realised that the attribute for the geo tour is the last one I need to achieve a personal challenge so the planning began.Today is day two of the mission and Im down to only two more caches to complete the tour and have the local geo art on the radar. I. Also hoping to squeeze a CITO and an event in if time is on my side lets see how we go.I jumped in The geowagon and ventured off the o soon find a nice parking spot. A short stroll later soon found me at ground zero. It wasnt long before cache was found and my name was printed for prosperity. I returned the cache to its hiding space and made my way back to the car. Ready to head to the next adventureA big thanks to the cache owners of Ballarat for making this cache available to be found.Cheers
Hard to be conspicuous when theres so many Muggles around. A little windy so I had to grab log quick as it blew into the bushes.TFTC
Staying at Snake Valley with family at their bush block. Went shopping with daughter SuperSally5 & as the cache was on the way out of the car park we decided to see if we could locate it. SS5 did the deed. Good camo. Tftc
Stopped in to grab this one while in the area with Nelzarama. Lucky we did as it looked like it had just been disturbed and the log had blown into the bushes nearby. We grabbed the log, signed it and put it back together as best we could. Hopefully it's okay from now on! TFTC
Tangentgoat and I were in the vicinity today and decided to hunt for this cache. Fortunately, our timing was perfect, as we found the cache turned upside down with the log blown into the nearby bushes. We've done our best to reassemble it, but we're unsure if the log was originally in a plastic bag. Thanks for the cache!
Found by Mary and David at 10:10. No muggles close by as it is freezing with some rain. So much for Spring in Ballarat. Spotted the container on approach. Our thanks to Equipt22.
A likely hide that we have seen before.Grabbed and replaced quickly. Thanks for the hide.
50 caches this month:) probably sounds really tiny to others, need 250 before the end of the year
Found it! However, paper was missing and geocache was broken! Replaced the paper! You’re welcome geo fam
Easy find. Thanks for the cache. My son was very happy to locate his first one.
Out for a few caches around Ballarat. Weather is spotty so caching in between squalls. Nice public hide. Logged and returned.
Thanks for the cache Equipt22

We were able to park the car in a way that hid us from view and this was then pretty much a drive-by JMorg from the driver-side. Thanks
A quick easy drive by. I was able to angle the car to hide what we were doing. Thanks
Nice quick find for us today! Saw another pair having a blast!

Out and about on a week away to Ballarat to clean up a few caches and attend an event.
The weather was freezing and drizzling but we still managed to find some good quality caches as we checked out the area.

A nice quiet night under all the lights, what a great little cache. The log book is a bit damp. Thanks for the cache.
Found the cache on the floor. Emptied the water from the container and zip lock bag and replaced as I believe it was originally.

**Wat is het leven toch mooi **
We have a roadtrip through Australia and we also did some geocaching. We have been to very beautiful places that we would not have seen without geocaching.
Very high on our wish list was the BGT and we successfully visited all of them. We thought Ballarat was a great and beautiful place, with a lot of history and a lot of geocaches.
We often log with our initals TGM (Team_Geo-Meijer)
Greetings from the Netherlands.
Equipt22 hartelijk dank voor het leggen en onderhouden van deze cache.
Groetjes,
Team Geo Meijer (TGM)

After having a fun game of Mini Golf, of which I won of course, it was time to collect a few more of the Geo Tour caches. Down to the last few now. Then grab a few others.
This was one of the extra geocaches and it needs some TLC. We quickly found it, but the log book has gone missing. Sorry but didn't even have my notebook with me, so couldn't even leave a piece of paper.
Thanks for the cache Equipt 22

After a wonderful few days at Whittlesea GLISS! and I decided we had time to swing out here and finish off the Ballarat GeoTour and anything else we could get our hands on. Lots of fun checking out the great caches in the area, solving multis and collecting the many AL's. Thanks for another great caching adventure!
On the hunting trail again with SeasonedBird (aka Mrs Geo, Salty Chook, the Old Boiler, Old Chook, Dirty Bird, Angry Bird & occasionally even Love Bird). It’s a great day for caching.

For anyone making Geo plans, do yourself a favour and visit Australia’s only current Geotour at Ballarat while it lasts: https://www.geocaching.com/play/geotours/ballarat-victoria
And for anyone that can travel to Longreach, Queensland, late September 2023, Google “QOGM” which is the Queensland Outback Geocaching Muster. You’ll have at least 8 or 9 days of pure geocaching fun with around 200 like minded people attending a mix of events and access to over 200 geocaches placed by the QOGM team. It’s not a Mega, it’s better.

Found on the 31st of October, forgot to log. I've been eyeing this one off for a few weeks, waiting for a quiet moment with no one pulling in behind me.
