Made it a mission this weekend to find this cache, its very odd as supposedly it was found yesterday, but we really couldnt find this at all!
Not keen to stick my hand down any burrows around but luckily didn't need too. Very cool container design deserves a fav point.
Tricky one, good effort, I like that, a favourite deserved.Enjoying our walk around here, thanks from a couple of kiwis caching in Tasmania.
found this on my phone and it wouldnt let me log it since its premium switched to my laptop which is why im logging late. beautiful spot tho i was shoving my hand in what definitly could have housed snakes since in was a gap under a rock. glad i didnt meet any slithery bois. lovely and creative cache definitly my favorite ever didnt have a pen but i have images of the cache on my phone.
Love the cache, would have really liked to sign the log. Not to self, bring a pen. TFTC
Third cache on our recommended clockwise walk of The Nut! Took me a little bit longer to find this one but had a good laugh once I did. TFTC
Hahaha awesome, we watched Beetlejuice this past week and were singing the banana boat song, this cache was an appropriate find! TFTC
Found and signed this log back in January 2024, but couldn't log at the time, so logging now . Cool find. Tftc
Thanks for the Cache Guys, 60 favourites, I saw this one and it's location. You can't give a favourite for location, the CO didn't make the location!Well I was Wrong, 61 favourites now.Touring for a month from Millgrove Victoria, great place, remind me to thank The Creator.Regards from Victourer
The Kings Birthday long weekend caching trip to Stanley is now in the second day. Today we found your cache whilst cleaning out the areas around Stanley and Smithton. An early start for us today and we found this cache at 11:13. Thanks Nataliec1234 for placing Nut nut, who's there? for us to find today. This brings my find count to 4895.
Swampy and I decided to visit Stanley with the aim of adding Pine Nut (GC52EF) to my list of oldest caches found. After an excellent trip, visiting the Hydro Power Trail along the way, we continued heading North West caching as we went. We found many different type of hides, cache containers and conditions. We fixed what was needed and replaced as found. What they all had in common was getting 2 geeks outside for some exercise. This find, Nut nut, who's there?, brings my total to 1674 and was found at 11:15 on 8/6/2024.Thanks Nataliec1234 for playing the game and giving us another reason to visit this area. Your cache was visited by my trackables: TB9QQD2, TB9KZ39 and TB7HH81
Cloudy day but a lovely walk around the top of the nut. Great container! Tftc
Lived in Tasmania for a number of years now however this is my first time North West Tassie. Driving around the area for our 30th wedding anniversary. What an adventure. Went up the chair lift & headed off with clouds but sun around. Half way along the loop, it bucked down & we got drenched. But it was fun & we had a good time. Thanks for the adventure.
Fabulous cache, first of its type weve found. Miss 4 was most impressed! Didnt sign physical log as chair lifts are closing and we took the counter clockwise route! TFTC
I love the container. Well indicated and an easy find on our trip from N Z.Pity no view and strong winds.TFTC
[9003] Holidays on Tasmania, day 8. Today, we had to move again, from Smithton in the Northwest to Cradle Mountain. It became mainly a coastal experience, with quite a few geocaches more or less close to the ocean. And it became my jubilee tour, as I logged my 9,000th geocache on the road. We enjoyed a walk on The Nuts and found some rather fresh geocaches as second or third team. This geocaches also contributed its share to another beautiful day in Australia! TFTC!
Must be the only one to hike up the nut and then think "oh I should have brought a pen" such a cool cache! What an epic spot!
Thanks Nataliec1234 for hiding this cache and giving us some fun chasing it down This was find number 1,056 for us We are traveling Australia full time in a Coaster Bus and of course grabbing some caches along the way. [Feel free to follow our journey HERE...](https://linktr.ee/SalandAnth)
#2699 This is my day 255, and the longest physical cache find streak so far. I want to see how far I go. I am on a family vacation in Australia, and Tasmania road trip is our main highlight. Today, we roamed around Stanley, got some seafood, and found some caches while walking around The Nut.Love the container! It was my first time seeing this type. FP addedThank you for the cache! -crystaloops from Taipei, Taiwan @ February 14, 2024 16:56:22
Today we headed out for a walk up the Nut and then to find the caches at the summit. We wrongly thought it was a tough climb to the summit but we seemed to be there in no time at all. We really enjoyed all the walking and finding all the caches. We had a great day for it.This took way longer than it should have to locate but got it in the end. FP for the unique container TFTC
TFTC!What an amazing cache!!!!! Absolutely our favourite so far As we continue our Tazzie adventure from Perth, WA as our pancake honeymoon, we decided to conquer the nut. As we leave the nut we are one friend lighter leaving our trackable Tracy on the top to start their adventure.
Found Wall on a hike around the nut with Angus 88. Excellent Geo. Really enjoyed this one.
In Tassie for the next few months. So many great places to visit and so many different caches to find.Visiting The Nut today and suprising how warm it is, even though there is a good breeze blowing. Not too many muggles, so allowed for a good search and quick find. Given a fav. Thanks Nataliec1234 for placing the cache and doing the maintenance needed, so we can find this cache.
This one took longer to locate than it should have. We managed to lose our pencil between the previous cache and this one, so we have a photo to prove it was found, love the container. Thanks for the hide Nataliec1234.
What a fabulous day to be in the great Tasmanian outdoors - the wind was brisk and I was glad for my jacket. The chairlift was awesome. Stanley is beautiful. The container made me smile. Thanks for the cache
After searching for 20 minutes, we gave up. Despite nearby muggles, no one asked what we were doing. Proving that after a certain age, one becomes invisible
#732 ~ Wow what a cache We loved it when we finally found it!! Perfect cache for a nut!! We had searched around for some time in between muggles showing up with no joy. Nooo we cant have a DNF on a cache with so many One last attempt. With Krossbo one side and I on the other we dove in & Krossbo goes got it and reveals an awesome cache. GPS was spot on to hide location you just need to think outside the box TFTC Nataliec1234!!
Nice find with Muddtrax on our Tassie Trek at the Nut. Took a while but after rereading previous logs and understanding what we were looking for, we eventually found it TFTC
We were unable to have a good search for this one thanks to all the muggles here this morning. Hopefully we will be back one day to turn this into a smiley
Love this one Love the creativity Did not have a pen on us so a photo is provided
No luck but the low light and wind might have been responsible for that… Ed + Cam
Jetstar was having a sale…. in the middle of winter, for a destination further south than I already live. That sounds like a great idea!
So a plan for a 4 night whirlwind tour of the northern part of the state was hatched. I’ve seen lots of this beautiful state, but haven’t found a single cache. With plenty of challenges to tick off, and a long list of targeted caches, this week is the time to turn that around.
Todays adventure started with a sunrise walk around The Nut in Stanley before a road trip to Launceston via some country stops.
A cool container here at GZ. The sun is now rising but the clouds are preventing and great sunrise pics.
Thanks Nataliec1234 for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy.

Excellent container.
Watching the amazing scenery, hoping the dark clouds would bypass us. Finding this cache certainly put a smile on our faces and our map. Returned to its hide before the showers started. FP awarded.
Love it, this is the last thing I thought I’d find up here.
A creative hide worthy of a .
