Found by M, retrieved by J. We love this walk but don't love the amount of dog there always is on the track TFTC
Just what we needed today, a stroll through some really nice bush to keep us out of the cold wind. And some smilies to add to the fun. Cache is all good. TFTC
No plan today. Just escaping the racing roar of Teretonga and random caching in the area. Another good caching day was had. TFTC
With truck and car races at Teretonga we decided to escape the area and do a bit of caching away from the noise.
Thank you for placing this cache.

Finished work early so popped out here to collect this one. Nice quick walk with lots of bird song. Quick easy find. Even found a couple painted rocks along the way. TFTC
The co ords wanted us to keep walking, but having looked at the hint earlier, we knew when to stop.
Thanks for putting this here for us to find

Out on a beautiful sunny day with Mr Cat and co. A lovely walk through the bush. The wee boardwalks were great. Tftc
We came to the Otatara Reserve today to try our luck at the caches here. We were with the kids and Gabby59. Parked up and hit the track, was expecting to see heaps of people as the car park was all but full, but only saw a few. No trolls under the bridge today TFTC
Found - Mrs McMike2012 & I now live full-time in our caravan & travel the country visiting places we want to visit … we are now parked up at the NZMCA Invercargill campsite for a couple of days, exploring in & around the area … we went for a bit of a drive this afternoon & thought it would be rude not to check out the caches at the Otatara Scenic Reserve … found with no issues, log completed & cache returned … pleased to add another 'smiley face' to the tally … TFTC ... TN:LN:SL ... #2,223 for us.
Out with my sometimes helper Greg. Nice day to work of some of yesterday's calories. Cheers!
I need a certain number of caches today to meet a personal goal I have set for the next 12month period if Covid will allow. So I was out and about west of Invergiggle.
I had to let a muggle pass first so tyhat I could hunt in peace.
Cheers for the cache.

A walk around the Otatara scenic reserve this evening. Nice quick find and sign. Now off to the next one. Thanks for the cache.
I decided that the left would probably be on the left side if you are doing the caches in numerical order. The torch was engaged again for the search. Thanks for the walk. Very pleasant in the gloom and listening to the birds settling in for the night.
First Aid course revalidation this morning, so time for a cache or more before heading home.
Number two is the first find, and I overshot it, backtracking just a few meters.
Walked this track several times a few years ago.
Thanks for the cache Kiscardi

A nice quick find thanks.
Ms_KR and I are on the road to Southland to finish off the Southern PW GeoTour. Today we cruised around Invercargill. The place has changed a bit since we used to live there in the 80's, but then again it is still recognisable.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Cache 598 Busy day today so it was a quick trip out to grab a cache, I needed one that contained the “Victoria Falls” wonder and this was the closest left to home, 2 birds 1 cache! dot day and wonder cache is in great condition T4TC ️
Still have some daylight left after doing the Big I series so stopped off here for a stretch of the legs. No problems finding this cache on a lonely track. tftc
Out for a brisk evening walk with the CO for a bunch of finds.
Thanks for being the tour leader Kiscardi

Another dot day rolled round, another busy day in the office planned. I had a family thing to go to straight after work, so made a slight detour on way to work. Was only about a 8 minute P&G. Thanks Kiscardi for helping achieve my dots.
In Invercargill for a bit of RNR and of course geocaching fits nicely with that... found easily cache all good for the next finder TFTC
A muggle was coming towards me as I arrived so kept walking until she'd passed and then backtracked. Nice easy find. Thanks Kiscardi

Had to wait for the muggles to leave here to get this one tagged. Cheers.
Sunday 1 November. Back to finish exploring Sandy Point today after a wet day Saturday.
Toby, Zara and I are on a 3 week geo adventure of Cromwell, Southland, Catlins, Balclutha with a day in Dunedin and quick stop in Timaru. With Lenny, my trusty navigator and TBD my companion/mascot. we managed to visit lots of green boxes, now happy faces with the odd sad one. Did some LABs , earth caches, virtuals and wherigos, all chucked into the mix to rack up 500 odd caches. Lots of kilometers, lots of exploring and lots of fun. Thanks to all COs for our wonderful experience.

Onward in the rain. Getting quite damp now. We wondered which side was the left, but it didn’t take too long to discover. Found with Debsnz.
Initially walked past it and had to back track. The hint depends on which way you're going so Spoonz2 took one side while I went the other.
The original listing [res 2](https://coord.info/GC2C0WB) placed by KiwiGS was 52ft away - 509ft from the basic Dunn it trad, although going by W.E.K.A's posted co'ods it was more on the nail 4ft away from the new PMO listed co'ods. I had searched for the archived cache before but was only searching at the boardwalk end the original co'ods were leading me, not the mentioned co'ods in old logs so I would never have noticed the 'in' place where the new PMO cache was hidden. The old cache had been replaced when KGS returned from overseas, only to go missing straight afterwards before anyone could vindicate a come back smilie; it's just a shame none of the trackables [stuck](https://coord.info/TB4PZRX) in the archived inventories will ever be marked 'missing'. The new PMO Logbook got signed leaving a star wars swag since the box was empty and on returning the cache it slipped from my fingers and went too deep in hide. A good thing there was several moments of non-interruption, Percy Verance had the cache gingerly brought back into position for the next finder. Without the recycled GZ, I wouldn't have had a cache dot on this part of the track. TFTC 2/7 *Hanging gardens* Ancient **Wonder** stamped. Prelim **MemLane** 5pt
Nice to revisit this walk again.
Just enough time after school on a drizzly afternoon to pop in and get this for a dot day.
Will come back to get the rest

It been one of those days, I just seem to be going flat out round and round and round in ever decreasing circles backwards.
And a list of job to be done by Friday that was growing,
Hang on it is Friday ooo $#@# maybe thay want the jobs done next Friday . Yess that's it next Friday I hope
So when I was asked to deliver a mower to otatara why not it's just another job
So after delivery was completed I got a call from annielin and she was just around the corner.
So as it afternoon tea time why not do a dash in cache
Now back to the list of Friday jobs .
Thanks for the hide

A walk was needed this afternoon especially as is a dot day. Lovely walking this track seeing the various shades of green, the various colours of bark and of course hearing bird call especially the Tui. I decided to walk the whole track rather than just a dash in to the GZ and back out and suss the other GZ locations (without actually touching the container) ready for a quick grab another day. TFTC
Emails came through for this new cache placement, quickly downloaded onto the offine list and here we go! [FTF] 9.55am tftc Kiscardi
