Solved this a while back, so took the opportunity to make it a smiley today, TFTC

28-Jul-24
Found during a caching trip to South Australia chasing specific challenge targets with other easy types or pre-solved puzzles to boost the numbers. Checked out of motel, grabbing a few more on our way to the airport. Needed to expand the search a bit beyond the obvious structures and then extra time to re-roll the evil nano. Why is the first available space always at the end of the roll? While doing so, a father & son muggle walking past asked is there a geocache here, doesnt show on our map. Spent a little more time explaining the limitations of the app for non-premium players (they also were relative newbies) and gave them the details of this cache to look up on a desktop pc.

Here from Melbourne with Fleabag for the Leap Day Mega and after some fun at the main event and after getting the Web cam caches we randomly looked for some others and this was one of them before Fleabag had to head to the airport. This was solved a little while ago and a deserted car park at GZ the made for an easy find. Thanks ThielFinders for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

Naughtybunny and I went out to grab a few caches while looking at some shops nearby. This was the first out of 11 for the day. Yeah we got a bit carried away... We were concerned when it mentioned this was a nano but it was found very quickly as there weren't too many spots to be hidden. TNLN. Cheers.

After completing the quiz a while back, tonight I realised I was in the area of GZ and so I honed in on this little cache. It took me a while, several spider-related obstacles were encountered, but the cache was found and signed. TFTP!

Thanks for the quiz and it’s the quickest nano find I’ve made ever within 30 seconds due to fantastic spot on coordinates!

I was assisting my dad with work this morning and we were driving past so we did this cache together.

I was here previously and had a DNF but today the cache was found. All is well with this cache.

I enjoyed the puzzle!

Thanks ThielFinders for this mystery cache, which brings Goldy's total find count to 3219 on the 24th of June 2023.

CITO's are a brilliant way to help keep our community area's clean. The Earth is our playing field and we need to protect it!

Always be sure to cache the "leave no trace" way!

Southern Autumn adventure Day 23. Blackwood SA trip Day 4. My time in Adelaide started with a walk to the shops and then a bit of a break until it was time to head out for a mid day caching outing to the south of Adelaide on the plains. I had listed twenty caches to day, but barely managed ten with several DNFs. It is good to see new caches in amongst the areas I have visited before and now I have also worked out a few puzzles there are even more to do.

With this puzzle worked out before I arrived, I was able to take my leisure and locate this one without any problems, even with cars coming and going around the back.

Thanks for the cache ThielFinders

Had to be patient today, as there was dancing lessons and people coming and going.

Found after triple checking a spot. Checks 1 and 2 for some reasons fell short.

That was a tough log to remove!

Darn nanos! Who's idea was this nano business anyway! Chuck all the nanos in the bin! Destroy all supplies of nanos and never let them be made again! Wink

I made the last minute decision to stop here on the way home from the footy, I caught the Seaford train which game me 12 minutes to look around before the Flinders train arrived.

Unfortunately because I was against the clock I had to call off the search.

I thought I had searched all the logical places here but came up empty.

Another time.

A fun weekend away with Davidwazza and Baby Warren! TFTC!

25-Apr-22
A puzzle that I must have solved soon after publish on 2/08/2020. I knew most of my geocaching history, and so I can't recall having too many issues in answering this quizlet, and consequently soon had the required coordinates.

This Anzac Day weekend, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I were back in Adelaide whilst attending a wedding. We took the opportunity to catch up with family and friends introducing our newest member of *Team Warren*, and where we could, we visited a few geocaches that I had either missed during my residency, or new geocaches published in the last 1.5 years.

This morning, whilst [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I visited friends in Melrose Park, we had some available time to find a few geocaches in the south-west of Adelaide around Clarence Gardens. I was then able to tempt jesswrigley in driving south to Bedford Park / Flinders area where we were said hello to Trim (a newly published virtual cache).
After lunch, I needed to return my fishing TOTT, so it was a last chance to find a few Goodwood geocaches before then heading to the airport.

I remember visiting this location with one of the CO's previous geocaches (and a favourite of mine too!). Alas, the local muggles must have learned about its hide, and hence it was always going to be difficult to maintain after that knowledge. So I took the opportunity to refresh my memory and tell [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) about it. As I parked and started to walk to this location once again, I realised that I started to walk past GZ, and so despite this evil cache type, it was a quick find at this slightly different spot. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Our first find of the day; Thanks ThielFinders for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

If I have to say so myself, the hint wasn’t wrong. Me and CJDenno struggled to find this today, we looked at the hint and both knew this would take a quite long time.

This puzzle was pretty straightforward for PrezDough and I.
However getting to GZ wasn’t too bad and we initially had a pretty good look and we eliminated an obvious spot early and focused on other areas.
Eventually after about 10 mins we made our way back to the original location and sure enough it was missed on our initial search.
We logged ourselves as CJD and PzD.
The cache, container and log are in excellent condition.
I visited 5 TB.

Yet another solved mystery cache that was a perfect target for picking on such a quiet day. Learning from our mistake earlier in the day, we checked the status of this cache before arriving here and were encouraged to see a logged find earlier today. We were expecting a long search but managed to put our hands on the prize within a minute or two, so for us this wasn't as evil as it could have been. However, we still do not like these nanos Smile TNLNSL TFTC

I decided to take a more scenic route home from work today and it was by sheer coincidence(!) that I was passing by this cache. I had worked out the final coordinates a while ago and it was time to change the puzzle piece to a smile. A quick find here with the bike acting as a disguise for searching. TFTC!

A fairly quick puzzle, read and solved on our way to GZ.

Out with Marlee126 and Peas&Carrots Forever heading to an event. But first we are going to grab a cache or three and some dinner, before dessert at the event.

TFTC ThielFinders

Keep smiling

Heading to an event with Jolly0 and Marlee126, we left early enough to squeeze in a few cache finds along the way.
Jolly0 had already solved this one, so she made the rest of us solve the quiz in the car on the way there. Quiz completed, GZ located and cache found. On to our next quest. TFTC ThielFlinders

Yay. Found it. Many thanks for the smiley!

Mystery cache number 396. Going for 500 and this previous DNF has had some activity and a new log even So why not ?! Maybe it was a different time of day or luck was on my side but my “tool” I always have with me Wink guided me to the right spot today. 2/2 today which is brilliant. Cheers!

Thank you for placing it for us to find. Thank you for contributing to the geo map and maintaining when required. TFTC

An easy puzzle targeted to coincide with a nearby breakfast event. I parked near my calculated coordinates and was somewhat surprised to see a guy coming out of his driveway in car that looked like I was from
the 1920’s or earlier. The cache was a bit of an anticlimax after that, but thanks for the puzzle and hide ThielFinders. Log signed on the first spot of the new log to be exposed as you unroll it which is of course #37.

18-Feb-22
Replaced the whole cache here (easier than replacing the log!). All good to go. Cache on

09-Feb-22
Today FeatherWaite and I decided to make the most of the slightly cooler weather and made our way down to Victor Harbor and back to find a few caches.

We targeted some non-traditional cache types including Unknown, multi, letterbox and wherigo caches.

The weather was kind to us, with no rain of any consequence and mild temperatures. With schools back now, it also means that there were a few less people about. All in all it was a great day.

I found this cache as I headed south before meeting up with FeatherWaite this morning.

Thanks ThielFinders for the puzzle and the cache.

Today I tried 10 caches, including traditional, multi, mystery, adventure lab caches. Only 1 DNF due to muggle activities.
This is the fifth find for today. Also today's first mystery cache I found. I went to Somerton Park for business, and found this cache on the way.
The quiz is not difficult. Solved it on 12 August 2020, not long after the cache has been published. Then it was in the to-find list, for over one year and one quarter. Today is the right day to try this cache.
No one there at GZ. I searched for a while, and found the cache.
Log sheet is full. However, I still managed to find a tiny space to sign. CO may consider replace the log sheet.
Thanks for the easy mystery cache, ThielFinders.

Why do I always fail to bring a pen to a nano fight? GPS, check. Phone, check. Torch, check. I even had a log roller! No pen though. I attempted to execute some stamp wizardry but all it says is ‘ushwalke’ in smudged red ink. It’ll do. TFTC!

An unexpected and unscripted day out geocaching on a perfect winters’ day. This was stop 3.

A nano on a traffic sign… reminds me of an old movable cache that was around a few years ago. Could have been a good quiz question!

My eyes must have still been trained as I spotted the blighter pretty quickly. Log book signed and onwards I went for more adventures.

Great find. Sneaky little thing. The young feller was walking around with it in his hand while the Mrs and I looked for the cache not realising he had already picked it out. We checked the log to get a hint as to its location, upon reading out how small it was... the little guy realised it was in his hot little hands the while time.

Mr Tardis was heading past and after solving this quizlet a few months back, I stopped at GZ to make the find. I found the cache in the first place I looked - don't you just love it when that happens?

Today I decided to target a mixed a few solved mystery caches and Adventure Labs. With no real rhyme or reason I meandered through the south western/western suburbs of Adelaide. A few observations - 1) the weather was great but still warm enough to enjoy a beer on the way home; 2) the airport is dead...really dead; 3) IKEA was pumping today (or at least the car park was); 4) sometimes nanos aren't that hard to find; and 5) breakout Creek is looking great. Today with no plans at all besides my morning event and meeting Davidwazza and Weredunn4 for an evening drain adventure, I decided to spend the whole day caching around the suburbs collecting caches. With the perfect weather around it made for an enjoyable and long day out.
All in total 53 finds for the day.

Thanks for the cache

Solved this puzzle pretty much as soon as it came out but left finding it for a latter date. Seeing as I was in the area today I decided to stop by gz for a find. Only one of the three set at the start of the year was now possible and should be complete by Christmas. [^] So pressure off and back to caching when and where the whimsy takes me whilst I ponder some targets for next year. Cool

Today's whimsy was a Wednesday Wander with a couple of members of Befuddled puzzle solving group in search of recently solved puzzles and anything else that presented itself. Cool

The puzzle was a different but soon solved shortly after publishing. [^] That done the solved puzzle like so many others joined the long list of solved puzzle caches waiting to be found. [^] Today was that day and the area seemed very very familiar. Wink So familiar that we walked past GZ not looking at the GPS heading to where we had previously found a cache. SurprisedRed FaceRed FaceRed Face Glancing at the GPS I saw the cache was behind us and we retreated a few metres. Both the rat and I sat down for a rest and she soon presented the cache for signing. Damn another spawn of Satan.

Normally the nano rant would be inserted but we all know how it goes. Wink Another kitten bites the dust. Twisted

Veni. Vidi. Vici. Scripsi.
Was trolling around the map over the weekend and saw this little puzzle and quickly had it solved with a couple of surprising new facts.
This morning, had escaped the WFH thing for a short while to head into the office for a couple of minutes work and decided a small detour on the way home was in order to look for an evil SOS.
Parked round the corner from GZ and wandered to GZ. Located the evil little SOS in the first place I looked. Gotta love that, especially for a nano. Extracted the log and then started the search for a blank spot. Finally got one right at the end. Then I felt like a timber worker doing the log rolling....... Eventually got the log re rolled and back into its container and re-hid the little SOS back in its spot.

A different idea for a puzzle. Something more enjoyable for a change. quick find at gz and first find of the day.
Out with the JAMS team today. All logs today stamped with the " JAMS " stamp. The team today was JJ52, Allister W, Mogni, Michells&hound and Sir_Spectre. Some caches were found before The Breakfast Club #9 event and many more after the event. The day was planned to get more caches with the work " Reel " in it but it turned out to more a day filled with " The Mare Hare " caches with others trads and multi's in the mix. A couple of Dnf's were cleared off the list, as those caches were missing on my last trip through that area and a fun day by all was had.

I solved this within a few minutes of seeing new listing. Picked it up on my way to an event with sir_spectre.

I just noticed that this cache I found wasn’t logged. Not sure what happened. All good now hopefully. I enjoyed the puzzle which I solved the day it was published. TFTC The ThielFinders

This morning, I got to spend an hour at Mawson Lakes meeting a lovely lady named Liz who had been a great support for me last year[:X][^]Cool. She has invited Rex back but I reckon she only wants him to return and not meRazzWinkBig Grin
Then it was straight into town for a Pub Lunch and while there I offered to take earthlight (another LizWinkBig Grin) home after grabbing a few caches[^]Smile
We had a fantastic afternoon in the sun and warmth, finding caches and doing an adventure lab while Rex enjoyed a few runs on the beach, in the water and chasing a few seagullsCoolBig GrinCool[^]
By the time I dropped earthlight off and got home it was about 7pm[|)] and the end of a great day with the Henley Life Savers adventure lab finished, 6 Smile caches found and the 1Cool event attended[^]

A fun quizletCool that had me stretching the memory beyond its current capacitySadRed Face[xx(]Red Face, thus resulting in just a tad of GooglingSurprisedRed FaceWink to get the results I needed. After the event, I headed here with earthlight and quickly made the findCool[^]Smile

It is always good to see a new puzzle and be able to solve it straight away...I love that, and this one was different as well so more to love. Cool
Knowing what I was looking for once I arrived at GZ it was a quick find which is always good when a nano is involved. Surprised
Thanks for the puzzle and cache ThielFinders. Smile

TFTC ThielFinders. Enjoyed the little quiz, then the find on my Sunday run. Only 1 km away from home, so it was nice to have a cache to find nearby.

Found at 9:48 with Olga on our walk with Luna.
Solved about the time hurtle was finding it, to discover it is only 347m from my side of the bed. Even then we are the fifth finders

What a super idea for a puzzle, it has many things going for it. The questions are quintessentially geocaching. I knew a few but it didn't take long to research the others. Good on Hugh. I like the simplicity, the ease of the quiz, I like that you can check your answers - so much so I didn't even use the checker. Not that I could even see the checker on my phone, I only discovered it when I came to log it on the computer.

This is not the first time a cache has been published super early on a Sat morning. I beat Hurtle to one the other week, but after a marathon night of puzzle solving and getting to bed at 1.30am, I was in no fit shape to try for a podium on this one.

I missed the turn-off and had to go around, and pulled up near a familiar location. Hey, I remember the last cache here, and liked that one too. I wandered over to GZ muggle free and see nothing of interest. I check the hint and see its a nano. nooooooooooooooooooooo. waddaphark. Ok, after checking I had not messed up the coordinates (worked out while lying in bed at 7.30am), I widened my search. I look in a likely spot and there he is, just ready for the picking.

Signed the log and rewrapped him, not so bad given I was fourth on the roll. Thanks for the cache ThielFinders, and great work on the puzzle. FP4U. Find #3100.
