A group of us made plans for 2 days here in Harrietville Log signed as VIC1. Found today with maccamob, Muzza, Alansee, micaparamedic, Rabbitto, Mclookers and ThePacman.Day 2 and weather threatening. Up to the Bon Accord and into town for a trad or two..Weather holding Thanks Ronice88
Found by Mary and David with the VIC1 group. Today we started with the Bon Accord track caches and several others around Harrietville. After lunch at the pub, we headed out of town to tyackle the F.L.A.K.E. cache, which we completed. We found few Trads and multis along the way, and finished the day with an Event at the Bright pub. Our thanks to Ronice88.
Second day with a Group of cachers who also collaborated on the puzzles. We had a most enjoyable two days in the area. Many thanks for all the caches. Signed as Vic1.
Found today on day 2 of our Snomo and Flake series in company of maccamob, Muzza, Alansee, micaparamedic, McLookers, feathertop and ThePacman. Log signed as VIC1. Thanks from D & HA B-A
A good find by micaparamedic.Fuelled up after lunch. Log signed as VIC1. Found today with maccamob, Muzza, Alansee, micaparamedic, Rabbitto, feathertop and ThePacman. Thanks for placing the cache Ronice88.
ITS SHINY!Once you look past the initial presentation of course! ;DThanks for the cool cache Ronice88!
Visiting the dredge hole to find a cache I had failed to find on a previous occasion, it seemed a good idea to pick up this one as we completed our walk around the lake. Having the CO with me, I felt confident of success, and was impressed with the camo work applied to it.Thanks for the fun, Ronice88.
Jeepers the thistles and blackberries each reckon theyre the most successful noxious weed, and Im not sure whos winning. Probably the berries on a points decision just based on volume of welts from today. TFTC.
Found it! The Traveling Muggles and I were enjoying an afternoon walk around the surrounds of Harrietville. We werent too far away from this caches so I made a detour to find it. It was a quick find at GZ. I wish it was as easy to find a real piece of gold. TFTC SL
With a Golden mate, as in weirdobiker, to find this cache. Love the container and applaud the resilience of these caches.thanks so much Ronice88 for the journey and the educationregardskbucky

Quite warm day today my beautiful in Harrisville thought I’d come for a bit of a drive last night and caught up with a few Geocaching friends and thought we would do a few while we’re in the area️
Well that was walk. Walked over the creek via the fallen tree and missed the track. Went bush through the blackberries. Finally found. Easier return walk. Thanks for placing the geocache
Found with LittleBoss2 on our week in Bright and surrounds. Thanks again Ronice88 for placing these for our drive to Harrietville. We came at this from the wrong side of the creek, but both successfully walked the plank along the fallen tree. Then it was a mad scramble through the blackberries, and it was only within 10m of gz that we saw the track. What an adventure, and the container was a bonus too. Fave added for the fun
I can’t make the Mega next weekend so I decided that the offer of two event types in Harrietville on the one day to have a crack at improving my number of cache types in a day. I even convinced the kids to come (the geohound was happy to have a day out). A bit of planning meant that success was achieved - 10 cache types (+ AdLabs) signed for the day (despite only signing 15 caches and 12 AdLab points). Very happy with that.
Fourth cache type for the day. After pulling weeds a few of us decided to head to this cache which was along the trail we were working on (no idea why i didn’t get this last time I was here). We trooped off the trail and while I was getting details on the cache Muzza found it in the spot I had just looked (not very closely clearly). He even had a pen so we all duly signed.

Found during the CITO here today. Someone said there was a cache nearby, so a few of us who hadn't done it yet went looking. Found nice and easily.
Thanks to Ronice88 for placing and maintaining the cache. Will have to come back again and look for the other caches here.

In the area today taking part in the cito.
A quick find. Thanks Ronice for placing the cache

TFTC, also forgot to grab pen as we where passing through and through "what the heck, let's go for a walk "
Found easily on a walk with the doggos. I did not bring a pen with me today so have taken a photo of the log instead. Thanks for the hide.
A very clever camo indeed but not clever enough to fool catnap777.
The hard part of getting to this one was distracting the CITO event manager long enough for cat' to duck around and find the cache when we should have been chipping weeds.
Again CybergranV, cat' and I managed to get our names on the logsheet of this very well put together trad' and still contribute to the ecological improvements going on around us. [^]
TFTC Ronice88. Another great hide.

An awesome weekend caching with dalerious and Cybergran V in such a picturesque part of our world. We were here for the geoart and getting together with like minded friends. The weather was perfect and the company better. Thank you so much Ronice for your hospitality and awesome caches .
Found during the CITO. Nat and I were pulling weeds only 50m away so we quickly took a break to discover this cache.
No snakes seen today.

Very cleverly camouflaged, but not too clever for Catnap777 and dalerious to find whilst participating in the CITO.
Thanks for hiding it here Ronice.
Thanks for hiding it here Ronice.
Found. After attending a CITO with a group of others, weirdobiker, Sherpani8000 and I went for a walk and found some caches in the area. We had lovely chats about caching and puzzle solving while we walked. This one was a bit of fun to find and a well-themed container. We stopped and watched some people fly-fishing in the river as we were going past. TFTC
What awesome camo! TFTC Ronice88! Was great to find with SciFiRulz and weirdobiker after the CITO earlier in the day. Thx!
#4743 We came down to the banks of the river to enjoy our lunch just off the Bon Accord Track with a plan to make a few finds following. When we looked at this cache and a couple of others in the area we realised we were on the wrong side of the river!! Around we went, back through town and parked near the dredge hole. Finally we made it to gz and Mrs BGF discovered the super cool hide here. A mess left behind by the largely unregulated gold mining days, but the environment is doing a great job of covering it up as the years pass. Another fave from us, thanks again Ronice88.
After our third attempt me and fordsofbright finally managed to get a happy face after the gps sent us on a wild goose chase

We came, couldn’t find it, came back, couldn’t find it, then finally on third attempt we got it!! Found this with AudieFreya
A wet day spent Harrietville, I didn't fell like getting the Ducati wet and dirty, so a wander around the area doing some of the caches that I haven't done seemed like an idea. Thanks Ronice88
This is such a pretty container. Caching today has been bushwalking with a purpose. Fuelled with excellent coffee from the local cafe.
Our pointing machine took us to the wrong side of the river, but a handy log bridge soon got mar Harrowang onto the right walking track. A quick walk to GZ and SL at 2.05pm and a quick walk back to the GeoCruiser. #7657 TFTC Ronice88
#17759. The coolest day of several hot days coming up so Robmc and I took the bicycles to Harrietville for some riding and cache collecting. An absolutely fantastic day collecting 16 caches plus the new Adventure Lab and riding 30km around town. Most enjoyable and it was nice to be back in a little village I first visited many moons ago and that I like a lot.
Strangely, it seems we might be 3TF on this one after many months and a bit of a false start with the cache. Our last find for the day at almost 4.00pm. Nicely camouflaged container with a nice surprise inside. Favourite point for it.
Thanks Ronice88

BettyBoo3747 and I loaded up the deadly treadlies and set off for Harrietville.
We started with the H2B series and then the AdLab, and a few others around town.
Gold mining areas can always be recognized by the destruction of the landscape.
We like to think this is a function of the times, but mining has not changed that much today.
A nice track along the river, and a good hide.
Thanks, Robmc.
PS: we didn't ride our bikes across the river here!

{second to find}
Quick and easily found once we got here.
Thanks for the beautiful hint.
So well camoed!!! But followed instructions to a t!
Now, there seems to be something not quite right here as the log is identified as Halycon days.
The GZ named cache is Goldmates!

"This well camouflaged......"
Particularly well camouflaged, and so well it doesn't need the bananas to go search for it. After leaving the place looked reminiscent to the savage dredging damage all those years ago.
It is made to be found. Obviously not easily for a wider search would be made to where technology had indicated to start. Not so far that the original unknown hiding spot could be discovered, 30 meters away, but indicated by the accompanying hint to seek higher ground.
And as for the destruction of the area. Like the owner, the local animals will be blamed.
God is assisting Nature a speedy recovery of the ruthlessly disturbed vegatation.
Hope all goes well.
And a favourite point added for this pyrrhic victory.

Due to animal activity which may explain the DNF's, I will relocate this within cooee SOON. Thanks for your patience.
This cache is REALLY well camouflaged. It has been uprated to a D3 due to number of initial DNF's. Good luck. Its there on upside of track!
Looked and looked with fordsofbright but it was heavily raining and took awhile for us to give up because we really wanted to get our first FTF but sadly no luck today we would’ve looked longer if it hadn’t been raining but we will be back.
We searched and searched in torrential rain there and back but bad luck and disappointment struck when we decided to call it quits and head for home. We tried this cache with AudieFreya. Better luck next time.
Searched & searched on track level & on levee. Found lots of blackberry debris but no cache. Lovely walking track along river.
