Took myself out for a scenic drive in the area and made a few stops Id never made the time for. Decided to venture down some back roads on a beautiful winters day. This is my favourite time of year and spontaneous outings are just the thing for a nature fix without making any plans. Thanks for bringing me to this place with your cache today.
Out caching for the day around the Yandina area taking advantage of the public holiday that ANZAC day gives us; Lest we forget!Love these country roads out this way, makes for a good day out exploring them! I pulled up to GZ where I found the cache pretty much instantly, log is a bit soggy though. Some lovely Grey Fantails and Red-browed Finches here too! Thanks Janetwil!
**Found Friday 26-January-2024 at 17:08 Smiley #2315**Wow, I have slowly just been finding caches, signing logs, logging drafts and simply forgetting about these and never actually logging them. My sincerest apologies to the relevant CO's, especially if I found issues with them and didn't do anything about them.Unfortunately my drafts were also designed to jog my memory about the cache to assist with the logging process. Doesn't work when some of them are over 2 years old. Here comes some generic comments. Once again, I apologise At least this log is only 2 odd months old. Cache was very wet and unable to sign.Cache logs are either stamped, signed with Rogersclan13 or just RC13 for space. Thanks for the cache **Janetwil** Rogersclan13
Can't find it today. Couldn't get to the pin as there are quite a few trees down blocking us. Not sure if that's why.
Had to make alternative arrangements as bike footrace up Mt Ninderry. I missed one question on ad lab and have to go back. This was a nice easy find. Signed the log and returned to where I found it. Thanks Janetwil. All good with this cache.
We stepped up into the bush and had a scratch around for 10min over there, then over there, then back over here, then there once more then near the log before we figure we must have been close (after all the easy finds people have recorded) but didn't have any luck this time.
We will be back! TFTC

Janetwil I found your cache Country Roads on 19/7/2022, 2:00 pm. This is my find 3791 and find # 5 today. A quick and easy drive by. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
On my way from Canberra to North Queensland with a few detours for shires. TFTC.
Took a bit to figure the way to this one. Didn't notice the underpass so got my scooter out and down the other side. Short way and saw the road. May as well scooter it.
All fine until I got the gravel. Scooter handled it well but it vibrated the crap out of me. I couldn't even hold a steady vision. Back to car for a quick drive-by.

Lovely day for a drive and a cache. Thanks Janetwil for this cache it took some time to realise we were standing on top of it!
This one was fairly quickly found once at gz. Continuing on our country drive along these country backroads. We ended up going from here to Eumundi then Noosa ambling along. It was a nice peaceful Sunday afternoon.
Took a "Australia 1947 Penny" pathtag, left a zebra on wheels.

We checked this one today and it appears to have gone MIA since we last checked it. Replaced container and log. All good to go again.
We checked on this cache today and it is still in place. All good with the cache.
Will have to come back for this one as both GPS and phone died on me. Thanks for the hunt
I wandered a little off track for this one as I took the "placed along the railway line" too literally! After some dithering around, the cache was unearthed and our signature added.
Headed for this one with kingfisherau following me and it wasn't long and we were parked up and headed for GZ. The interesting thing about this sort of ground cover is that it does such a great job We were right at GZ, coords were pretty much spot on but the container just wouldn't jump out and grab us. I resorted to a PAF and asked what they'd done with it The cache was then located right where the GPS said it was under the natural cover.
The log was signed and all returned as found.

FTF 10.30 A nice drive up to Yandina and on towards this cache. Parked up and wandered into the bush and after a short search we found the little blighter and were amazed to find a clean log sheet. Although geohubby who didn't have his glasses on, thought someone had already found it but couldn't read the name so handed it to me. Oh boy another senior moment - all it said was 'Placed 27/9/20'!!!!! TFTC Janetwil
Followed Konie again on to this the last one for me today, a search ( in another well vegetated area ) was done by us both and could find nothing, as we knew that dickbev had just been here we kept searching still to no find. Konie did a quick phone a friend and as he was confirming where his Garmin was pointing - the cache was located under alot of natural cameo Signed log kingfisherau 11:55 am 28/9/20 and replaced all as found,
