Reperio 07:35Day 1 of my little escapade towards Albury for the weekend, and after spending the night at Bowral, it was on to Tumbarumba this evening. Part of my focus for this part of the trip was to visit this series, and very much enjoyed the drive. Its nice to see trails other than trads and puzzles. What a difference another day makes as this time we left with a smiley. Many thanks EmileScherbe for setting the Wherigo Adventure Crop Circle Odyssey series for everyone to enjoy.
Cache was missing so replaced and notified COA great idea for a series. Shame it was such a freezing and sometimes rainy day. Had to stop caching a couple of time till the rain stopped.Cold day traveling and wet in places but on way to Moss Vale to attend a nearby event tomorrow. Thanks for getting me out and about EmileScherbe
Another very cold morning in the highlands so didn't want to hang around too long.Found location but didn't find the container. I see from a recent log that [Joolay](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=c897d3d2-f692-4238-aede-aa7efa68ef6c)[ replaced it this afternoon](https://coord.info/GL1CJ0WFX) Will return again another day when it's warmerThank you so much EmileScherbe for creating, hiding and maintaining this Wherigo Geocache.
Full time Nomads, travelling around Australia since 2014. Staying a few nights in Moss Vale, today we were going to wander around Berrima but saw that the temperature was only to be 9degrees all day so thought we would try some more park n grab caches instead. All rugged up with beanies off we set reaching home as the sun went down.So much history in this region.TFTC Emile Scherbe
Left Goulburn this morning & were now camped at Daley's Camp in Belangalo State forest. After setting up camp we drove towards Moss Vale completing the Rememberance caches & the WIGO crop Circle. We finished the day driving to Bundanoon to do a couple of ALs.Such a big variety of caches found todayA nice way to visit the town & area is by following the geocaching trailThanks EmileScherbe for hiding this cache.
Over in the area heading for Canberra to attend the Easter Mega with tmann421Tons of caches done while here and this was one of them.Enjoyed the touring around and all the containers foundLog signed tm/ww NZThanks for the placement and the effort put into maintaining these hides for us to find.
*In the area with woolwood9 heading to the MEGA Event.* We cached from Sydney to Canberra, then after the MEGA, up through Yass, Cowra and Bathurst to return to Sydney. We had a great 3 weeks and enjoyed finding many good caches. *We soon had the container found!*SL *tm/ww NZ* *Thank you EmileScherbe for putting this Wherigo cache series out for us to visit!*
Found as I travelled from Adelaide, up to Sydney to deal with some personal business matters then back down to Canberra for the Mega event over Easter. It has been great to be able to get back out on the road again, travelling and camping on my own. The weather is good too!I have identified some caches of interest and am taking a rather circuitous route, hoping to find as many targets as possible in the relatively short time available. So many caches; so little time! This wherigo series was on my list and I made my way around them, dodging the incessant truck and other traffic as best I could, although the parking was a bit dodgy at times! All of the caches were found quickly, thanks to the excellent hints in the wherigos. Most of the containers and logsheets were in reasonable condition, although a few seemed to be nearing the end of their useful life. A bit of maintenance and a refresh would not go astray.I was a bit surprised at how many of the caches were at the base of power poles - we wouldnt get away with that with our SA reviewer! Thanks EmileScherbe for the cache.
Heading to Canberra from Wollongong, I stopped off to find this cache. A quick find was made and my name added to the log. With everything returned as found, I continued on my way. TFTC.
Four years ago, a Bromance team adventure to hike Australia's highest 10 peaks in Kosciuszko National Park was cancelled after bushfires devastated the Snowy Mountains (and indeed most of the Eastern seaboard). We finally returned to Kosciuszko National Park a few days ago and spent three wonderful days in perfect weather hiking a 61 kmcircuit around the mountains climbing all of Australia's 13 highest peaks and collecting all the alpine caches along our route. After a recovery night and some caching in Canberra, we made our way to Goulburn last night, where we enjoyed a big feed at the pub before an early night. We have lots of caches planned today on our way to Sydney, so we got an early start. After collecting a dozen or so target caches in Goulburn, we continued our journey north.A pit stop in Moss Vale to refresh, grab some food and use the local facilities was necessary. This Wherigo series was our next target. It was stinking hot, so we took it in turns to jump out of the air conditioned car and make the finds. Thanks to the hints, all finds were quickly made. Logs were stamped with the Bromance team stamp to save space. Many thanks EmilyScherbePete#7,761
Crookedpete, JezNDez and I were part of a group of 7 geocachers from Brisbane who set off on a 3 day hike to climb to the summit of 13 of the highest mountains in Kosciuszko National Park. Originally this hike was supposed to have been undertaken after Xmas in 2019 but the rampant bushfires closed the park just as I was picking up my fellow team members from Sydney Airport. Now, four years later and it is finally mission accomplished and, after staying the night in Goulburn, we are slowly making the drive back to Queensland, collecting a number of caches on our to-do list along the way.We took a route that brought us through Moss Vale so we could work our way through this trail of Wherigo caches. The clear hints meant we had little trouble finding these caches, which made for an enjoyable adventure. All logs were stamped with The Bromance team stamp to save room in the logbooks. TFTC
Today's goal in the Southern Highlands finding a series on my map that played hide-and-seek for way too long. Tech tried to outsmart me, but after a bit of struggle, I got it to cooperate. Found my groove and breezed through without too many hiccups.Big thanks for the fun challenge and a change of pace!
Got this series, after working out how to get the question to appear at the first cache. After that it all went well. Great series and nice cool weather to complete them all. Signed and replaced. Tftc
A quick find this afternoon, with great coordinates, excellent clues, and a muggle free GZ. Thanks for the cache EmileScherbe
Nice and early morning to grab a couple of caches before we continue to Goulburn today this series was just what we needed to start the day, rather well hidden puddles of water didnt make my already wet boots any drier. But at least the rain has taken a well earned rest for the time being. Found all the caches, even replaced one that was obviously missed as we were able to confirm from a previous DNF. The coords were quite exact, even on such a cloudy day we walked straight to them.Thank you Emile Scherbe for placing this series for our enjoyment.
Muggle65 and l were very happy to find that it was not raining this morning. The precipitation has messed with our off track walking plans so we came here instead. All caches bar 1 were found right where the WIG said they would be. Thank you for a fun cache run
A trip to cache around the mid north coast of NSW via the southern tablelands. TFTC.That was a fun Wherigo. I liked how you chained them together..
This series was one of my goals for today in the Highlands. For too long had it sat unfound on my map. I struggled with the technology at first, but once I got it working a found a rhythm and made me way along without too much further difficulties.
Thanks for the good challenge, and something different.

We are visiting Australia from Florida, USA for a multi-week vacation which will have us visiting two states in Australia (Tasmania and the ACT) we missed in 2014 followed by 28 days on the Ovation of the Seas including New Zealand and a Transpacific to Honolulu, Hawaii, USA.
Today was our eleventh day of the trip as headed from Canberra back to Sydney. We had eight Virtual caches (including Lane Cove), a couple of earthcaches, twenty Wherigo caches and three sets of Adventure Labs in Goulburn on our to do list.
Being a Sunday we almost had the road to ourselves, pulled over at each stop and Mrs. Seadog jumped out and usually made a quick find. Thanks for this fun Wherigo series. tftc!!

I am travelling north from Canberra to meet up with a group of geofriends for fun on this the Canberra Day holiday weekend. I really enjoy wherigos and this series is no exception. All were found easily thanks to the hints and now the logs carry my name either as Smittengranny or SG..TFTW Emile Scherbe
Backlogging from a few weeks ago. Went caching with MrPython had lots of fun finding these, but I am definitely not built for the bush areas. Super fun adventure and fun exploring a new town TFTC!
Off for our daily cache today, we headed out to find another in this series. We held our breath as the WhereYouGo app loaded, and thankfully, it saved properly yesterday, and we could pick up where we left off.
It was a quick find again for this series. My son was happy to claim the find yet again. Hopefully, tomorrow, we will have time for another.

*This is going to be a copy and paste log because I found 30+ Caches on this trail and I'm not writing 30 logs *
OCW CreepyGhoul for the day! (16/02/23) We have a long line of caches planned out to try and push me towards the 800 find mark!
I'm really glad we completed this trail! It took 30,000 steps, walking along tight highways and a few sunblock and water breaks! Doing it on a 30+ degree day with few clouds was not my smartest move but I'm glad I finally got it done! Having 90% of the caches being the same made them all a very quick find once I pushed through waste high grass!
Also a few of the caches had very water damaged logs so they were unable to be signed and should probably get some maintenance performed on them! Tftc!!

Traveling around NSW we visited Moss Vale to enjoy some Wherigo’s and Mysteries. The weather was great and the scenery was great making for a fun afternoon caching in a new location for us Victorian’s. The informative hints made for easy finds.
Waited for a cyclist to pass this time!
Thanks EmileScherbe for the Wherigo series placement.

Found with sebass19 on a huge day of caching in the Southern Highlights; all up, 68 finds for me today, not bad considering the heat! This was a really fun wherigo series that was at the top of our priority list today. For some reason, the cartridge didn't work initially for sebass19 (no locations appeared for him) but it worked out in the end and we were soon on a roll with finds. We loved the clear hints at each cache, the good quality containers (the eclipse tin and fake rock caches had wet logs, but for the most part the trail was dry), then the fun riddles along the way. We found that by not writing down the coords for each cache that we were unable to get an accurate search once we arrived at each GZ; this was because once arriving in each zone, the cartridge moves on to the details for the next cache. This meant sometimes, we had to search a wide range in the general area. Apart from one DNF though, all caches were found very easily! A great geoart series that takes you to locations with great views of the trains (a big one passed us during our run) and mills. TFTC Emile Scherbe!
Completed the WACCO trail with friends. Enjoyed completing the loop along quiet roads. All caches were easily found. Thanks for hiding these caches and bonus points for the GeoArt. Thanks!
Visiting from Coffs Harbour.
This was on my to do list. Quick find had at GZ. It started to rain so it became a matter of hop to it and find these caches.

Our first full day in the area and what a lovely winter day it turned out to be. Sunny and little wind, a great day for caching and sightseeing.
We decided to head off to Berrima to do some sightseeing and also to tackle a few series, the WACCO Wherigos, Words of Indigenous Australia, and Remembrance. We had pre solved the Indigenous language series during COVI lockdown.
A good run was had although we did have a few DNFs and managed to complete some multis as well. A good day!

Out and about for an 'active rest' day with Contesta. Interesting and unexpected crop circle ️ walk/drive/walk/drive..... today. A favourite point on the final Wherigo #20 in this series for the hard work putting this activity in place and fun jokes provided to amuse us on our way. We also got to see a few ‘Choo choos' at some waypoints. TFTC Emile Scherbe
Find Number 2168 found at 10:41. Today we found 24 caches; 2 traditionals, 1 mystery, an AL Bonus and 20 WhereIGo caches. We had 0 DNF's
The Victorian family came up for their long weekend and we all headed up to the Highlands to meet with the Robertson family members. This morning, after an overnight stop in Mittagong, I met up with geoson NationalSteel for a morning's caching.
I know that NationalSteel isn't a great fan of WhereIGo caches and I have had a lot of bad luck with this cache type but the concept seemed different so I bullied him into giving it a go. Everything worked well, after we had a minor hiccup at the first location. After that we were able to answer most of the questions first go, although a couple of them caused a bit of head-scratching. This was definitely better than my previous experience with WIG caches and made for an enjoyable hour or so,
Thanks EmileScherbe for the cache.

I have to confess that "power trail" and "WhereIGo" are among my least-favourite terms in the world of Geocaching. But, given that caching days are few and far between at the moment, and Gill&Tony were going to be in the area with an eye on this series, I thought I'd bite my tongue and give it a go with them. It turned out to be better than I expected, and didn't do the usual WhereIGo thing of inexplicably dying halfway through. It was quite clever how each cache led on to the next, and all caches were quick finds, but the silly riddles kept us amused. Before we knew it, we'd added all 20 to our WhereIGo found tally. In fact I had a distinct sense of Deja Vu as we completed this series, with many of the locations being the site of previous finds. Still, it was nice to be out caching and everything worked better than expected, so TFTC!
trip to Mittagong for two nights, next day go to funeral of mine part of family..

Tankengine, Aquilus1 and I had a plan to come up for the event being held and to pick up a few caches along the way. We didn't expect to be lucky enough to find a couple of ftfs along the way too.
All in all it was a good afternoons caching, many were found and the event was a good chance to catch up with a few caching buddies.
This cache series: This was a quick series to get through. No major issues were found and a quiet afternoon, meant easy parking. Tftc Emile Scherbe!!!

A last minute decision to drive up to Berrima with Tankengine and dty73 for a community celebrations event. It was going to be tight for time to arrive with my work holding us up but we made it only a little late... and only because we stopped off for a couple of new caches along the way! Of course, we also left a bit of time for a few caches on the way home as well!
6.30pm and still a lovely day... very nice now. All good with the cache.

With the temps soaring I probably made a back call and headed away from the coast, but when you love your geocaching you'll do anything for a find.
A clever twist on a "wherigo cartridge". Well put together with good parking at each GZ and easy finds.
Thanks

With the heat setting in for the "long weekend" we elected to go caching on the Southern Highlands to escape some of the heat, unfortunately the respite was only a few degrees cooler than Sydney, but we cached on regardless.
Today's main aim was the Wacky Crop Circle, and any other caches we deemed worthy of hunting. All caches we found today were in good condition, dry, and easily found. All caches were signed and replaced as found.
Field Notes: Excellent series!

Off to grab the rest of the Crop Circle Odyssey this morning. Chose a scorcher for sure. The new Wherigo works well most of the time although the text can be larger.
Half way around the series lost itself so I had to go back to the beginning. The complex answers were responded to and a few were picked up with a bit of prediction.
Thanks Emile Scherbe for a good, If hot day out.

OCW EverestHigh. On the drive to complete this awesome series, we discussed what the collective noun for a circle of Wherigos was. I suggested it took the same shape as a merry-go-round, so I decided to call it a Wheri-go-round of Wherigos. Another fun cache around the Wheri-go-round. TFTC Emile Scherbe!

I started this whereigo a couple of weeks ago, but didnt have the time to go very far. Today I returned with the objective of finishing it. Fortunately the road was fairly quiet today which made it easier to jump out and grab the caches. All found OK and the cartridge was flawless.
Thanks for an interesting series.
Thanks for an interesting series.
This series has been a goal of mine for a while and the conditions were right today to give it a go.
At first I tried to do it simultaneously in the Wherigo app and the geocaching app but soon just relied on the Wherigo app. This left me completely reliant on the hint in the cartridge to find the caches.
Overalls, it was great. The series took just over an hour to do. TFTH

Well, it's mini milestone time again, and one thing I haven't found to mark such an occasion is a WhereIGo.
In fact in 7399 finds I have a whole 21 WIGs. That's 0.2838221381268 of 1 percent of my finds. So in a perverse sense of "I'll fix that!" I decided to go Wacko (WACCO?) and double my WIG finds in one day.
Practically speaking, that means all twenty in the crop circle and one more besides is today's target.
Well, I managed that - despite a long cacheless walk back to the car at the parking spot - with the cartridges performing well - and also successfully ran four more WIGs besides that I can collect like traditionals at a future date.
The WACCO series is an interesting twist on a WIG, although I have seen two caches from a single cartridge before.

Full log to follow - but lets face it, most of them are very similar - and I was stunned by both the familiarity of the GZs and the total lack of Tic Tac boxes!

A pleasant area for these drive-bys. Despite being Tuesday, there was little traffic on this road and those few vehicles that drove past were driving at a safe speed. TFTC and this series Emile Scherbe
Today is the 9th November 2020 and I managed to find 75 Caches for the day with my friend Loci612. It was an amazing day of caching. We had no DNFs for the day and we also got a grand total of 37 FTFs. We spent a total of almost 14 hours caching and I was dog tied at the end of it all. One of the highlights for the day were seeing a Lyrebird and almost hitting a kangaroo head on at 90kmph (just Missed Him). In total I drove 770kms but I love geocaching so much and the friends I have made along the way make it all worthwhile.
I have included one of the Geocaching poems that I have written. I hope that anyone reading it likes it. Thanks for all the caches and sorry for the generic log for this cache but with 75 finds including the 37 FTFs it is hard to write a different one for each cache.
ALL CACHES WERE SIGNED DSD. ALL CACHES WERE FOUND IN GOOD ORDER UNLESS STATED OTHERWISE. THANKS FOR THE CACHE AND THE ADVENTURE.
I have included my one of a kind Geocache Poem with this log for future readers to enjoy.
Geocache Poem
By DARKSIDEDAN
My endless search goes on and on
Looking for treasures of every kind
Always chasing just one more find
Putting past DNF’s out of my mind
I step out into the world outside,
Seeking what is hidden from me
What size, shape or form will it be?
Only time will tell, I can’t wait to see
Will I find my prize at the end?
I will search in the failing light and cold
Filling with despair having looked everywhere
Where is this thing that gives my life pleasure?
Looking all around from every angle
I read the logs and check the hint
I curse out loud as I walk in circles
Screaming the bloody thing it not there
As time flies by and I fail to see,
Never once stopping to realize
It always been there before my eyes
No need for sorrow, there’s the Geocache.
***** I am currently writing more detailed logs than usual. This is because of a challenge provided by Project-GC called "The Author" Badge. "The Author" Badge challenges geocachers to write an average of one hundred words or more in each Found It log. As of 9th November 2020 my average was 160 words per log, which seems close to the 200 words per log target. However given that I have found so many GC caches, I have to write many logs with well over 100 words for a long period of time to get my average to the target. Apologies to anyone who finds the logs tedious but it is the only way that I can strive to attain this challenge. After 7600 plus caches (which includes all cache finds up and including yesterday), the average log length is just over 160 words. I am now entertaining the possibility that I might be able to achieve my task before this year ends. Progress has been better than anticipated.*****

Myself and DSD started our morning with a drive to Moss Vale, predominately to pick up the new WACCO Wherigo series, and a few extras along the way. The day didn't go as we expected with a detour to the coast and a huge loop back to Canberra, but we were happy to get the main goal completed here before we headed off on a big FTF chase! I got a FTF in **FOUR** seperate counties in a single day, that's a record for me and I can't imagine many others have done similar! it didn't come without cost however, with over 700km's driven!

Have been looking forward to completing this series ever since it came to my attention! Crazy how 3 Wherigo geoarts have been published recently within only a few hours of each other! We were scheduled to do this two weeks ago, but I became sick so it was postponed until today!
A load of fun was had here, and an interesting take on Wherigo's, one cartridge to find 20 caches was a pleasant idea and made things smooth, it could have gotten messy otherwise! Containers were all found with extreme ease which we were thankful for, and all in good condition! A few different containers were thrown into the mix to keep us on our toes! The road was very busy with large trucks and utes, but due to the wideness of the road it wasn't much of an issue to keep out of their way!
Thanks for the series you Nameless Monster!

I really enjoyed this series this morning. I had a little trouble getting things to kick off at the first stop but once that was sorted it was all systems go! Was able to use an app to find each one, and they were all pretty straightforward- just needed to watch a few water hazards. The road selected was also great- nice and quiet and perfect for some caches. Good stuff Emile! TFTC!
Out on a trip through the Southern Highlands with ilook4geo and this series was on the radar. The cartridge was a bit different to others and was easy to follow. No problem in finding each cache except for the last one, where we were well and truly muggled out by a large numbers of muggle workers almost right at GZ. All the others were quick and easy finds Many thanks go to Emile Scherbe for placing this run of wherigo caches.
In the area with goingplaces2 and enjoyed doing this wherigo series. All caches were OK to find. Logs were either signed or initialed and were put back as they were found. Thanks for this series.

Happily accepted PPE's invitation for a day trip to Moss Vale to knock over a WIG powertrail. We braved the forecast rain and made an early start to the day. Not long into the series I recognised that I had walked this path nearly 2 years before to collect a now archived series of traditionals.
This was a very interesting concept for a WIG and I had seen many of the brainteasers before. However, I would be quite embarrassed to admit how many we didn't get right on the first go - lucky no one is keeping score
Enjoyed a fabulous day out with great company even though I had wet feet from the beginning but otherwise kept warm and dry.
Thanks for the entertainment and cache placement Emile Scherbe

I have been working through a vast number of puzzles in preparation for a Southern Highlands trip, and then saw this series, which gave the motivation to get off my backside an go and find 'em. Teamed up with C2079 for a very early morning start and surprised ourselves by how quickly we finished the series. All caches were in good order even after the soaking that has occurred and we where fortunate that the weather refrained all day. A quick and easy find.

Thanks for the caches.
Thanks for the caches.
Out with the Yellow One as his car was getting a service so he trained it down to get a few early finds and then we hit the WIG's. No issues downloading the cartridge or making our way around and generally quick finds. Signing duties completed and re hid. TFTC
