Yup, I always choose the wrong side to start searching, and this time was no different
Had to grab this on my return walk as it was a popular corner. Checked 2 spots before finding it in the next spot. [TFTC]
Out and about enjoying the hidden gems of our country. On a lovely sunny but cool Central Otago day making the most of the Kings Birthday Monday. TFTC enjoying the changes that have happened over the last 20 years. No Trolls in residence so trotted on over. Thanks for bringing me to an area I have never visited
We spent ages here last year searching for this cache. But had no luck & I think it was missing then. A different story today, with a find in the first place we looked. Very happy to turn the previous sad blue face into a smilie. TFTC
We have been in the area geocaching for a few days and doing some of the bike trails. Have to say we have seen the Clyde Dam & the Clutha River from up & down and front & back. Luckily it is a stunning area and we are loving it. Good advice, thanks. We did check for trolls. Cache is all good. TFTC
Out for a bike ride checking out the gorge and now heading back to the caravan. Busy trail today so I had to pick my moment to grab and sign.TFTC
# #7,031 #----------Thankfully for me, the trolls had also gone on their holidays. So no bother for me here at this one. Everything was all in good order. TFTC!!! ----------> All geocaches are signed as mmmPIZZA or mPZ
No trollsbut a quick cache find. Nice to see a non rusty eclipse tin as in Wgtn they tend to fall apart in the salt air
Youre right it was a quick and easy find but we did have to wrestle the troll. TFTC.
Were spending the day cycling the Dunstan Trail right through to Alexandra. The Roxburgh Gorge tomorrow. Caching along the way. Our first find for the morning thats on the actual trail.TFTC
My two billy goats clambered around the littlest found it. (With Daddy Goat Gruff’s help) tftc
With rebel98, I have the phone attached to a stand on the handlebars, and navigate us to the next cache.
No problems here, it's going to be a leisurely ride along the trail today.
Thanks for the hide

We were cycling the Dunstan trail from Cromwell to Clyde, and stopped to find some caches along the trail. A quick find here and we were the first to sign the new log. TFTC
Didn't find it...maybe it's fallen down somewhere it's not accessible. We had fun playing trolls with our 3yr old
We spent ages under, searching & feeling every possible location, but this one eluded us ️
When I ran past here yesterday I thought to myself this would he a great geocache spot. Sure enough when I checked my phone there was one. Picked it off on this mornings run. Tftc
Heading home to omakau after a Lsar training exercise near tekapo...decided it would be a great opportunity to spend a few hours in Cromwell knocking of a few caches..
Stretching the legs after all the p and g's..quick find tftc

Went for a bike ride from the Cromwell Heritage Precinct to the Bannockburn bridge today. Superb views of the autumn colours at the river’s edge. Picked up a few caches along the way. Found this one more easily than I was perhaps expecting to. #4895. TFTC.
Took awhile to find the final at GZ but once found I wondered why. Thanks wombats 4 for the cache and maintaining. On my bike this afternoon finding some caches that are not so easily to reach from a car. Enjoyed a ride on my bike along here to pick up a few smiles, and stopping for some autumn views.
What a difference a day makes. Sweltering and hot yesterday, overcast, and a cold southerly today. We were on a mission yesterday so came back today to find these caches on the trail. The log is full but managed to squeeze in our names. Thanks for the placement wombats_4
We saved this section of caches for a morning trip today ..yesterday our aim was to conquer the Dunstan trail ..soon found the hide ...the log is full sorry I didn't have a spare with me..thanks for your cache
It took a wee while to spot then retrieve this cache. Not sure about the 1.5 terrain rating though. TFTC
Thankfully the water was not as high as last year so it was quick find despite the busyness of the trail. t4tc
Cromwell to pisa moorings today. Another glorious central otago day. And a few caches on the way. TFC
Today Injeanious and I cycled from Cromwell to Alexandra along the new bike trail. We had a great time and found lots of caches along the way. Tftc!
Had a peak under and realised we were on the wrong side. A quick find after that. Tftc
I had planned for today to try to locate and sign off the rest of Cromwell's caches.
First off, I was going down the Cromwell-Clyde Trail starting from the Cromwell Heritage Precinct.
I was hoping to play the troll while I was signing off the cache but no-one came across.
Cheers for the cache.

Walked this portion of the trail today seeking all those caches I rode right past on Saturday. This was a cache I rode right over on Saturday whilst riding the trail to Clyde. I had been in a hurry then to meet up with another cacher on the other side of the Bannockburn Bridge. Today, I was the troll and someone rode over me as I signed the log. Thanks for the placement wombats 4.
we did finally locate the cache but first we located a wallet mainly bereft of notes and bank cards etc but it still had warehouse and sterling sports vouchers and a net guard from BNZ which we handed into info centre arrowtown as no police here or in arrowtown!
Today was set aside to do a geo caching day to Cromwell if the weather was unsuitable for skiing which is was , so we set off early at about 8.30 and finally arrived home about 5.30 with approx 41 caches in total including the adventure lab , so we were very pleased. we took a muggle who have been intro' to geocaching briefly on a few days before and so today was a big geo caching experience for her and as i had 2 GPS's with me she was able to use one quite independently by half was thro the day.
we enjoyed spending some time at the historic Cromwell area which none of us had actually explored before and where we had lunch at the Grain cafe.
we only had 2 DNFs and both were of puzzle style caches which we had solved but there was nothing at GZ.
thank you for these caches

Found on a nice bike ride in the area. Took longer than it should have to find
Three quick finds on a cold morning to see off the day day we'll and good. Now back to van to defrost my fingers.
Found while out walking the dog. Had to wait a while due to cyclists and runners going past. TFTC
On a three week trip to the lower South Island with tmann421 hunting caches.
Enjoyed the trip around and the challenge of the finds.
