Found as many as I could in this park, especially thanks to RobMC for setting so much up
How to screw up finding a cache 101! I took the S coordinates from one list and the E coordinates from another! After realising I'd made a boo-boo the correct coordinates were loaded and the gsp pointed to a spot a short distance away. Thanks for the mystery and the great walk Robmc.
Despite a DNF, I had enough information to work out the final. Found a host and worried whether a new pile of mulch had covered the cache. Logs said it had had a recent find though and I couldnt see any mulch disturbance so I moved onto a different host and found the cache. Thanks!
TFTC:). After I completed the other finds, finally achieved my grocery list to find all the fruits and vegetables. GPS was accurate and the find was soon attained. A fun challenge and walk around the park. C.C
Finally coming back to avenge this, what an amateur mistake I made last time, a transcription error! Grabbed the cache in half a second this time around! Tftc
Out on the bikes with Jascat caching around the Newport/Altona area. This was our last find in the reserve before heading to the waters edge. Thank you for the series and this bonus cache.
*12 Oct 2024, Found @1:37PM, Find # 3947.*A nice day spent riding the bike in the reserve enjoying the different vegetation and varied caches. This was a fun series to do. **Thanks to Robmc for placing this cache.**
One of the challenges that I am working on is finding 20 geocaches in every Victorian LGA. Over 3 different visits to the Hobson Bay LGA, I am now up to 16 finds. Today was the day to finish off this LGA and I seemed to have done it in style. 19 finds and no DNFs in this LGA. Most of them by Rob MC, so big thanks to this CO. I was able to work out the final before finding all the traditional Geocaches, which was great as I was able to grab while passing thru. Thanks for the cache, Rob MC.Hunter
A nice walk around this park on a perfect weather day. TFTC and for the walk around this beautiful park
Spent a bit of time wandering in the wrong spot, about 20m from the cache. After walking a hit more o spotted the anomaly, and the cache was in hands soon after.TFTC
What a great series loved every bit of it. Thanks for the series walk adventure and fun
These were the first ever caches we did, so great to get around to coming back to tick off the mystery cache (we didnt have premium when we first started)
7 for 10 on my late-night caching run. I figured out the final straight away. TFTC
A nice conclusion to the set, despite causing a bit of confusion. Thanks for making this cache, and showing us round the fine lake we had no idea existed!
Arrived at the final to find nothing there - hold on, lets put those numbers in again. Oh, it's 100 metres away! Got there and found it phew. Back to the car for a well-earned drink of water. Thanks for the series Rob, we enjoyed it and loved the reserve.
Thanks for the cache; found and signed recently without any issues with the cache, beyond having to wait for a muggle and their dog to go far enough away to make the retrieval without getting muggled.
Back today to get the rest in this beautiful reserve. Sl thanks for the cache
On secondment to Melbourne, Australia, combined with short holidays here and there. Day 26/74, Friday. Today, I first worked some hours in the morning. Then I headed to Newport and made a long walk around the LOVELY Newport Lakes Reserve, enjoying the views, nice weather and, of course, many geocaches in the area. I had the best day! After all that fun I returned to my place of accommodation and continued working, fitting to the schedules of my Finnish colleagues who just started their day. All the Fruit & Veg caches were quick finds in exact coordinates. They were in good condition. I liked the series a lot! I was a bit concerned as the previous log I saw online was a DNF. But this was as quick find as all the others; an obvious hiding place in the ZP exactly. I will give a favorite point for this one, as a thank you for the whole series. Thank you for the cache and greetings from Vaasa, Finland! Logged with [GCDroid](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gcdroid).
Was a bit nervous with the dnf but I found the cache in good shape. Along with a lot of large Beatles. Thanks!
Either well hidden and I have bad eyes or gone walkies like the dogs around here!
Took a while to walk to zone in on the location, but not too difficult to find after that. Thanks for the cache!
Nice, easy find after a nice walk around the park. All in good condition. TFTC and the series
Lucky, last cache in this park, after 3 hours of meandering and caching. FYI, I would have none of those above in my shopping trolley, lol.
Loaded up with my basket of fruit and veg I headed off to find the final. A very enjoyable and successful caching trip. TFTC and the series.
An enjoyable jaunt among the fruits and vegetables.
I had enough info to make my way to gz.
A nice easy retrieve away from the busy paths.
Thanks robmc

Done all the clues with crank1 around the lakes and we enjoyed solved this final cache and found it. Thanks Robmc for placing the final cache
Caching before the Cachemas in July event with Weirdobiker. We're running a bit late on time, so there was a sprint to this one but we got it. Thanks very much for a great series I've done this over 4 months ago but haven't collected the final before.
Even though ConnieandRick had collected these ones already, she came along with me to find these caches. I was on a limited timeframe so it was a quick wander around to collect the clues for the bonus cache.
Found at 12:48
The CO reminded me that we were going to be close to the possible locations for the final and on checking the info I had collected, I found I had enough to narrow down the choices. I stopped the hide quickly again here.
Thanks Robmc for the cache. A favourite point for the fun series and an excuse to come back to this lovely park.

Great walk around the lakes collecting caches in the chilly wind.
At Gz I felt a bit exposed and hope that none of the dog walkers noticed
Thank you Robmc, for creating, placing and maintaining this cache. I have enjoyed finding it and visiting this spot.

Great running sequence! TFTC HEAPS!! Last bonus cache is cracked and might need replacement
I was here today with a Birdlife Melbourne Photographic group and I took the opportunity to look for a few geocaches during the visit. I'm not sure that the clues I had collected were right as they options did not seem to quite match. But I selected the best option and found the container. Thanks to Robmc for this series and the bonus cache.
Find # 12521
Found with sharkiefan.
Another weekend down in the big smoke with my buddy
Focusing on Labs a couple of challenges and the odd physical cache that pops up on the map.
A nice earlyish morning walk around the park b4 things get busy.
An educated guess and stab in the dark. I made the find, muggle free.
A couple of land mines closish to GZ. But well it is a dog park.

Took 2 tries because some of my items were on multiple lists. Found it though, along with a blue tongue!
Completed the trad part of the series before heading off to the Science Works museum and then Grazeland for lunch
Returned later in the day to seek out the final, along with other caches in the reserve
This one didn't disappoint. Fav point added for the series
Many thanx to Robmc

Found with georocks101. It was a pretty hot day so we went for the final cache once we could guess the rest of the items but we vowed to come back for the few remaining caches. TFTC
Found with JelenaGreenleaf. Was able to induce this one with the ones we found today, will come back for the last two. Tftc
I was heading for gz and it seemed the muggles were circling me. Then I realised they're just walking their dogs.
Having now found most of the caches in this series I had enough data points to find the cache. Nice location
In between work sites today (being back in the office is still a strange feeling) I decided to make a trip around here as the map has refreshed since my last tour around the park. All in all a 100% success rate and a pleasant walk got me away from the screen for an hour or so.
I must’ve lucked out with my choice of starting point as I knew pretty quickly where I needed to head.

It's about this time as I trek through the wet grass in regular shoes whilst listening to thunder that I wish I had completed the mystery calendar last year. Oh well, cache was exactly where the coords said it should be. Now for a quick walk back to the car.
An enjoyable afternoon walking around this location completing some of the CO's traditionals, labs and bonus caches. Spot on coords after getting our 5 serves of fruit and veg. TFTC.
Despite missing a couple of the numbered caches we found our first coordinate cache. Yay!
I found this cache on my Newport by Train and Bus Geocaching Day. I had not looked at the final cache for this series until I had 6 in the bag and when I decided to check now, I realised that it was a very opportune time to have done so. Thanks from D B-A.
Taking advantage of the sunny 18° winters day we headed down to Williamstown to enjoy the scenic area with the aid of a few new labcaches since our last visit. We were very happy to revisit Newport Lake Reserve as it has been quite some years since we were here doing the now archived nightcache which we thoroughly enjoyed.
While wandering the lakes doing the labcache we set out to include some healthy fruit and veg caches as well. With all fruit and veg's listed we soon chose the correct GZ to make the final find.
Thanks Robmc for the fun series.

A diversion off the Westgate Bridge to this lovely park which was well populated with caches so had planned to check them out. This was a new area and a fabulous park. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here so thanks for enticing me here and for all your caches A favourite point for this flavoursome series and the location Robmc
It was well and truly dark when we managed to get all the clues with the exception of one DNF. This DNF however, did not prevent us from deducing the final coordinates as GZ coordinates would only be the ones that we had. We really had to race back to the car via the ad lab bonus cache as we were worried our car would be trapped inside the park before the gates close.

Well, well, well…!
PrezDough and I had completed the nearby traditional chase in this series with only 1 DNF.
Along the way, we also chased down the AdLab series, a multi and all on a miserable wet and muddy day.
We started out mid afternoon in another area and decided to get stuck into this area as it had an attractive array of differing caches.
The weather dictated wet ground, mud and it certainly provided that. One particular cache had us slipping and sliding around and we were soon trodding around in muddy shoes, wet trouser legs and fading light.
Nonetheless, we deployed our torches and continued chasing this series and the others along the way.
Having gathered clues along the way, we decided that our DNF could easily be deduced to provide us with a really good set of coordinates. Now, we had no choice but to take the most direct method and through some pretty wet and muddy areas as we were conscious of the vehicle gate closure at 7pm. We had 25 mins to make this find, attempt the AdLab Bonus Cache and clear out of the park….
Can we do it…? Sure can…?
Our names added to the log, the cache safely tucked away and off to get one more… Just one more… haha.
Well this cache, the container and the log are in excellent condition.

We enjoyed this series and nice to have a bonus final cache...very cool indeed. Thanks Robmc for the series and the experience
With the preliminaries for this one completed, I mosied on over to GZ for a nice quick find at 13:35 to notch up our **7500th** find.
A nice kmstone to end a pleasant series on a glorious winter's day all seems to add up to a fave point from me.
TNLNSL, although a few of our geocoins had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks once again Robmc.

Finally found it. Silly me put in the wrong coordinates without realising. Got a little lost but we got there in the end. Awesome series, fruit salad yummy yummy!
It was decided this afternoon that Ausfox and I would catch up for a chinwag and a cache. Yes, caching is great but the company that comes with it is what I like about playing game.
This area was on our list this evening with a bunch of trads, couple of bonus caches and a AdLab were on the card.
With our torches in fullshine we set off on the hunt and happy to say we came out smiling. This a nice and simply bonus hiding in a beautiful reserve. Thank you

A fantastic way to start the weekend with a full moon and perfect weather to cache around Newport lakes with Donutholes in search of caches and Adventure Labs.
Sometimes torch light is a help, but this evening we missed the obvyon the first check of the area.
Cache in good condition.
Log signed and replaced as found.
Thanks for the Mystery Cache Robmc

Got all the other fruit&veg but it then got too dark to find this one. No fuss cause this is such a lovely park. Can't wait to come back and finish this off.
11:44, 1 May, 2022. #510.
While we hadn't found F&V #4 yet, RGSBruce reckoned he had enough in his shopping cart to know where this one was. As it turned out, he was right and we found it pretty quickly.

Having worked out where this should be from finding the five of the seven lead in caches and having extra confirmation from the contents of F&V 6 it didn't take very long at all to find this one.
The cache is in good condition.

I did not realise that there was another fruit and veg! So i came back and there it was the final fruit and veg!
Out for a walk to pick up the newer series, since Covid.
Although I missed one I still had enough to get the final.
Nice to visit here again.
Thanks Robmc for creating for all to enjoy.

Working on my mystery month challenge!
This is our first stop on our caching trip up to Ballarat to try and collect a bunch of mystery caches.
We ended up doing the rest of the series back in February, but ran out of time. So back here this morning.
These parklands are always so gorgeous. It was a beautiful walk from the car park to GZ and we got to see all the cute doggos!
Once at GZ we checked out the usual beacons, but with no luck and then out of the corner of our eye the cache was found.
This was such a great fun little series that highlights the beauty of this parkland.
The cache was in good shape and the logbook was nice and dry. TFTC

I have been meaning to do these ones for ages as it is a great park and lake for a walk with the lake to enjoy and also plenty of open spaces for the kids to come out and play.
So today after work with the weather still being nice to us I headed off to here to find a few caches.
I have done a previous series around here before as well.
Wasn’t sure what I was in for when I read the title so it looks like I’m off to do some shopping,
I juggled the Lab caches and this series on my phone as I went.
Well I soon realised what my last item was and where it would be located in this massive store that is so spread out.
Soon located the cache and my shopping trip is finished so it time to put the shopping into the car and go and look at some mosaic’s.
A fav goes out to you for this fun series and to get me back here at this great park.
Thanks Robmc TFTC

A great little series

A nice park with a lab and many caches... so it was my destination for a cache and jog tonight.
With my shopping list solved I headed here. A bit of searching and finally it was discovered.
Thanks to Robmc for the placement, fun and adventure.

Out and about with Omegamaqn1971 for another one of our catch ups, today we decided to head over to the Western Waste lands and find a few of the caches on offer, weather was perfect and we enjoyed visiting several locations, pity about the smell, it must have been low tide.
This is one of the caches found today.
Thanks Robmc for the cache.

We actually completed the fruit & veg. shopping back in 2020 Somehow Covid put a nasty taste over the goodies, so it was important for us to finalise things today.
Thanks Robmc for placing such interesting caches on the gameboard.

Out for a drive, we stopped to complete the series around this beautiful park and lake. We have really enjoyed the walk and the fun idea of fruit and veg. Thanks for bringing us here Robmc
Well I issed the grab on completing the initial leg.
Today I returned for the fun.
I made much harder work than needed.
Totally out with my inital search.
Then I spotted something amiss.
Yes it was correct fun.
Thanks for a good series.
Fave for the fun in a good park.

I needed a non-traditional cache today for an attempt on a calendar challenge and this park seemed like a good option with two fairly straightforward bonuses. So __Cat___ and I headed over and successfully picked up all caches in the park, including the adlab on a very hot afternoon. Apart from a few mozzie attacks and a bit of overheating, it was a lovely stroll and all caches were found fairly easily. TFTC!
Found at 1:12 pm.
I had just taught my youngest geokid how to ride a scooter and they loved it so much it was a perfect opportunity to combine it with caching and not have to head out by myself. It also makes it much easier at each GZ with 2 people looking and looking out for muggles.
What an awesome park this is, we rode around the whole thing twice doing the adventure lab first and then the normal caches and had a great time.
My geokid loved each clue and was very happy to find each one before I did.
After about 3 caches we managed to work out the final location and got that on our second tour of the park.
This one took a minute or so but luckily my geokid looked better than me and made the find. A favourite from me.
Thanks Robmc for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.
