Found It!Interesting cache hide. I attempted this one last year, found the tool but couldn't get it to work (it seemed bit too big for the job?). Today I came back with my own tool which did the job and I soon had the cache in hand!TFTC
I'm out and about with HansandLinda and Wollaston today to have an adventure or two and collect a few Canberra caches. We stopped for this one and three of us investigated GZ to see if we could find it. I'm still not 100% sure how we got to the log despite it being explained to me and boy am I glad the others are over 6' tall otherwise this would have been a DNF for me!Thanks for find #5874TNLN
TFTC Sui_001 your cache Undercroft that we found today. Our first full day at the Canberra Mega.Out with Wollaston and MeandDe aiming for the tunnel caches in the area. While out we also found other caches ad we passed by.Took some time to think it through, but we got it. All good with the cache.Find Count: 19266 .
After a week of caching around Adelaide incorporating The Great Leap Forward event, HansandLinda, MeandDe and I traveled to Canberra for the Easter Capital GeoBash Mega. After arriving at Canberra, a plan was hatched to capture some targeted caches today. So this was one (or one along the route) and was certainly challenging. A favourite from me. Another great day for caching. TFTC Sui_001
I came and found, will return sometime with an improvised tool. At least I now know it is gettable.
A great place to get out of the sun today. Visiting with previous finders this was a quick retrieval. Thanks, Sui_001 & Loci612!
Second time here with this cache. The first time with SatrasAlign and it was unfortunately broken. Now, it worked like a charm. TFTC and a favourite.,
We could see what needed to be done here at GZ, and there is still evidence of the original tool that was required. We even found its magnet high up on the shelf. Since it was not in any usable form, we had also bought a variety of our own tools, a couple of which turned out to be ideal for the job. Somehow, there is moisture that has seeped in, and so we have replaced the log sheet. All up, its still took us a good half hour to have the log signed here, but it was a lot of fun. Signed and found today with WarmishBiscuit _3Thanks Sui and Loci Domsky
With Domsky we went at this cache for about half an hour. Once we arrived at GZ we quickly saw what needed to be done and where the old tool was kept. Eventually we got it out but Domsky realised it was in desperate need of maintenance and replaced the log. A lot of fun and very creative! Thanks to Domsky for all their tools of the trade. Thanks for the cache Sui and Loci!
#1188 Turtle and I had previously visited here and spied the cache in awe but sadly the supplied tool had been damaged. It appears to have had some trouble finding its feet so far given all the trouble with said tool but alas. Turtle and I came prepared today with our own tool of the trade that would be able to do the job. Whilst this is completely doable alone I don’t think was complaining about having a second here to do part of the work. A cool idea that’s obviously been riddled with troubles for a while, can confirm it’s doable with the right personal TOTT. Thanks Sui and Loci for a cool hide
#3047 Getting a sniff of the fact that the supplied tool may not be in action, DT and I came prepared today having previously visited and knowing what was required. With the correct TOTT this cache is quite achievable even if you may not have it at the ready on an initial visit. Thanks Sui for preparing this intriguing field puzzle.
Buoyed by the recent maintenance and the fact I had some daylight I visited the cache yesterday. It took me a while to find the bits and pieces and by then Joolay joined me for some assistance. We were a bit puzzled about what we found. Joolay had found it before and because someone had stuffed up the tool she was equally bamboozled. We tried a few things, but from what she remembered and what seemed apparent, it just didn't work.
In the end I first messaged and then phoned the CO. It transpired that the tool had been tampered with and rendered unusable. (WHY WOULD ANYONE DO THAT???)
We put everything back as it should be and I went off to find another cache, whilst Sui_001 yet again had to disable the cache.
Today however, I scrutinized my accumulated TOTTs and decided to modify a few things and return to the scene. I fiddled around a fair bit and, until I had the cache in my hot little hands, wasn't sure this would work. It probably would have been easier with the tool.
Thank you for yet again a fantastic cache, even if it wasn't quite like it was supposed to be. It reminded me of some toys I had as a child.

This was our final find of the day before we dashed home and just beat the rain and the increasingly rapid wind gusts that were settling in for the rest of this Canberran Sunday.
Overall this was an incredible cache by Sui_001 and Loci612. Truly ingenious.
When we arrived at GZ we spotted the tool to help with the retrieval fairly quickly, and after a short climb, it was in our grasp. The question then was what to do with it? A quick review of the description (and confirmation from one of the COs) revealed we could get down from the perch we had ascended to. It still took us a while (and further CO assistance) to work out how to use that tool.
Once we had found the answer to that conundrum, it took some time to manoeuvre the cache from its home. It definitely paid off to rely on our auditory and tactile senses here, as vision took a bit of a back seat. We also used a shorter version of the provided tool to complete the last section of the extraction (we felt it was easier to know how we were progressing that way).
Once we had ascended back to the afore-mentioned perch to sign the log, we got the tool back in hand and returned the hide to its abode. We are glad that the replacement took noticeably less time than the opposite process. Thanks for a great journey Sui and Loci You can probably undisable this one now

I was looking forward to this one. Love a cache with a mind challenge like this.
Took me a while to figure out where the tool and cache where but once I spotted them I figured out what to do pretty quickly.
Seems the tool had been put in backwards which made it nearly impossible to get out. With a lot of physical force and balancing I managed to get it.
As I wasn't sure of the exact construct of what I was supposed to do I started to try and extract the cache. I wasn't sure if there were magnets or just friction but after an hour I still wasn't successful in extracting any cache.
I put the tool back the way I thought it should go and have messaged the CO with a photo of the tool. Seems there is a problem so it is now disabled until another fix. I have been given the ok to log.
Hope the cache gets fixed soon and treated with the care that it deserves so many other cachers can also claim it.

TFTC, took us a little bit to find the tool, but found something sticking out! We spent a good 40minutes working on the cache. We had seen similar cache before but not to the extremely and challenging nature. Such a fun cache! Logging with the permission of the CO who we ran into and met at one of his Yass Caches! Fab point from us!
We came here late morning not knowing what to expect. Having seen quite of few of Sui's great inventions we soon spied the materials required to retrieve the cache.
However, the tool was stuck fast as the main rod was clearly disfigured. We used a small rope to free the rod but part of the tool had a key part missing. We communicated with the CO and sent photos. We knew what we needed to be done to retrieve the cache and the CO kindly gave us permission to log. Worth a favourite point for the fabulous concept. TFTC Sui_001.

Found at 11:31 AM GAFF1 in the company of Sui 001.
Ay caramba - what a lot of fun that was! Had a bit of help with this one as the tool was protruding slightly and was easily spotted. Then I wasn't convinced that the second part of the retrieval was going to work, but surprisingly it was very strong!
Managed to get the bison tube out and then the fun of putting it back - because "After the cache away, all is well, and okay.
don't be a fool reset the tool."
So no fool for me
Thanks Sui_001.

Made a shaky attempt but i was on my own so i'll return with friends and more courage
Well that was a bit of fun, possibly a bit damaging to my personal well being but still fun.
On arrival the concept was pieced together nice and quick, but hmm the task required.
I actually have one of these tools in my cache bag, but sadly it was about a meter short.
much scrambling up and down the slope almost had me rolling my ankle, manipulating the tool caused a few scrapes to the knuckles as well.
But once in had it I thought that was pretty cool.
Personal scrapes and rolls continued on the return.
Really cool concept and implementation of the cache. Thanks for heaps of fun.

A very clever find with Aussiepuschaks and Jemalong&family, definitely a favourite point for this one TFTC
Found with So and Jemalong and Family. A fantastic cache and a favourite point from us. TFTC
Wow! What a clever little find. Took A lot of searching for the tool but once found was a fairly simple excersise. Found with aussiepusckaks and sophiescout out in the cold. Also a 3.5/3.0 our first one. worth a FP for the ingeniousness of the cache. TFTC
Wow. That was exceptional!
A well thought out and beautifully executed field puzzle. Definitely a FP from me.

We spent a good 20mins

A few of the remaining group then headed to two other local 'field puzzle' caches. I was very glad to have others with me at this cache, my first attempt finished with a very sore arm. Today persistence extracted the cache and we were all very happy.
Thanks for the cache Sui_001

Headed into Canberra with fitzy_1965 for a group cache find this morning.
After all that was done, we teamed up with albida33, Strangetrousers, Smittengranny & Sol de Lune to do a few more harder caches that we hadn't attempted before.
All quiet at GZ so we were able to work out what was needed. I managed to retrieve the tool...just. Then albida, strangetrousers and Sol worked together to retrieve the cache and return it.
We couldn't quiet get the tool back properly so have improvised until the CO can go check it.
Fav point from me.

# 6733 As a cyclist, I know this underpass quite well. It's known as "snake gully" as snakes could often be seen around the entrances. No reptiles today apart from a tortoise skeleton. We had some idea what was required here, but execution was still tricky, largely due to the slope. We easily spent 30 mins or so trying various approaches. Numerous cyclists whizzed by with puzzled looks. We eventually located the blighter and encouraged it out. Much relief and enjoyment had here.
Thanks Sui_001 & Loci612

Yep Sui_001 another of your evil caches. The 3rd one I attempted today with SDL, minniek, fitzy_1965, Albida33 and Strangetrousers. It certainly deserves its ratings. It took some time for us all to coax this little fellow out of his hidey hole. THis is almost worse than some of your others, because you have o idea if you're winning or not. TFTC (I think) Sui. SL
Headed down with Fitzy, Minniek, Albida, ST and Smittengranny after the big group find at the big block at Hall. We knew what to do, it was just a matter of getting it done. Reminded me of one out near Yass from many years ago...and then fitzy told me the story. Makes sense.
A few of us had a go and after a little while the cache container was in hand. Log was was signed and cache replaced. A little issue with the cache retriever that one of the others will no doubt elaborate on.
Thanks for the fun find guys.....fav point for the hide, container and shade.

23,381. Found with minniek and a bunch of other cachers this morning.
We came into town to attend the non-event gathering just up the road for a particularly interesting cache. Once that and a few more were completed we still had plenty of time up our sleeves so we headed to this one. I have seen all the various components of this cache hide before, but never put together as this ingenious cache has to offer. We quickly worked out what was required, it was then just the small issue of doing it ! Trying various things we soon had the little sucker in hand. Signed, it was time to return everything. No probs with the cache, but we had to improvise slightly re-hiding the tool to ensure it doesn't become exposed. All good in the end.
Thanks Sui_001 & Loci612 !! Fav Point for the excellent cache !

Nice bit of construction work. Didn't take long to figure out the process. tftc
I arrived with the dusk. My phone died about 2 minuts after the arric. I had chance just to read the description.
Took me quite so.e time to locate the cache. But I couldn't find the tool. Took me maybe 25 minutes before I finally found it. Good light is essential
Once found, it was fairly straight forward and shortly logbook has been signed. All returned to its original places.
My biking shoes did add an extra * to the T rating. Had a lot of troubles moving around on the slippery stones with "metal" souls
FP earned

After finishing the Canberra AM adventure lab, I found some nearby parking for this cache and wandered over. As I sit here writing my log, I am reflecting upon my 11 years of geocaching and I've gotta say: this is probably the most difficult cache I've ever found, but also the most rewarding! It required ingenuity, physical strength, balance, perseverance and a lot of skin! I arrived at GZ and searched for a bit with no avail, but as I was leaving, I spotted something sus and soon realised what had to be done. The first challenge was accessing the tool (it's definitely a LARGE tool); but then it was a matter of getting the cache out of its hiding place. Once signed, the biggest challenge of all was replacing the tool so that it was out of view: it required a few attempts to get it right, but then I figured out the most effective way to keep it concealed! All up, probably about 40min from beginning to end; but I'm not complaining, because it was a rewarding challenge and I loved it! Was surprised that two muggles passed as I was replacing; but considering what was required for this cache, there's not much you can do in terms of stealth - LOL. TFTC Sui_001 and Loci612; what an effort it must've been to set up!
Found today with Joolay after a chat with the CO at the CITO this morning. Ingenious design which we worked out, found and returned in pretty quick time. Previous logs did help . Sorry I am out of FP. This trad is the last cache I need to fill my calendar with just Trad finds

Well that was certainly lots of fun. Tricky, required strength and flexibility but we got there in the end. Like the way this was thought out and placed. Forgot to add favorite while logging but have now added on the computer. TFTC Sui_001
I wandered around here for quite a while with out seeing anything remotely likely, then my darling wife spotted the tool. After some swearing and some awkward positions by me photographed by the evil wife. I had the cache in hand , log signed and replaced. Thanks Sui_001 and Loci612

After dropping my son at work in the city, I retured home via this cache. My initial search was fruitless, but then I spotted something interesting. Now what? A bit more investigation, and it soon became obvious what was required. Before long the cache was signed and replaced. Another amazingly well constructed cache. TFTC.

I expressed to Sui that I had a brilliant location for a cache, and had been sitting on the fence as to what to do with it! A very quiet underpass, which is quite rare to come across especially when most already have caches under them!
So we visited it together and had a meeting and a brainstorm. Suddenly I had an idea hit me, and Sui came to a very similar idea at almost the same time. It was quite crazy actually! So we sorted out the logistics and got to work.
Even though I was here for it's set-up, it was too good not to return and do it again after it had been tested by some other finders! So swung by once more today to do the cache again now that it has been published and tested! Had an immense amount of fun with it, and started to realise that maybe it is slightly harder than we anticipated! When you come back with a fresh set of eyes, and not after you have been working on it for a long time, you realise that it's certainly a bit harder to work out what the hell is going on without previous knowledge! That is what makes it fun however, my top tip is to READ the description and you should be good to go!
Thanks Sui_001, an obvious favourite point, never seen anything quite like this before! Thanks for bringing this to life and using this incredible space for something worthy!

Chooo ooo [Found] with dty73 - another amazing Sui001 cache!!! Took us a little while to spot the tool/cache! We were certainly scratching our heads for a little while! But then dty73 spotted it/them!!! Wow - amazing! - It was a combined effort to retrieve - and dty73 nearly took my eye out with the tool - but all good! Thanks for the cache Sui_001 - favourite from me!!!
Fantastic. Unique as far as I know. Something completely different. The CO doesn't have a park n grab bone in his body. No wonder this has 10 FP already. Make that 11!
This is one where someone could accidentally give away a lot in their log, and spoil the surprise/challenge. I certainly do not want to do that! Suffice to say that I had to scratch my head for a few moments there. I didn't track how long it took. There was a bit of trial and error there. And resetting took a few minutes to do properly too.

Received a shout out from the FFLL ladies inviting me along for some Sunday caching around the ACT, sure I would like that We didn't really have any plans, just decided to go where ever our driver took us so off we went. The rain held off for us, a couple sprinkles here and there but nothing to get us wet, the real rain came after we had dinner.
It was very windy today, so probs doing fishing caches wasn't the best idea, but hey, it was tonns of fun and HEAPS of laughter involved. FFLL#1 mentioned this cache was nearby so off we went. Parked at nominated parking WP and wandered down and commenced searching. We spotted something, surely thats not the cache, thats way to simple... turns out we had found the spare replacement the CO had accidently left behind haha damn knew that was too simple
We had spied the tool... and we set to work. Soon had the actual cache in hand, signed and replaced. Must say I got a cramp in my hands from the tool but it was still fun
Thanks for the unique cache placement Sui_001 & Loci612 (adding a fav) and thanks to the FFLL ladies for another fun filled day out and about.

We were going to head out of town today but a change of plans due to the not so good weather. So decided to stick to Canberra and hit some of the new phishing caches around the place plus any extras along the way.
Put the call through to Rapidlywild to see if she wanted to join us as it has been awhile since we have been out and about caching. Must change that!
Well that certainly was something a little different. But made a little easier due to the fact that we found the spare cache that was left close to where the hiding spot of sorts was.
A well constructed cache with a difference. Gets a favourite point from us.

I was in Yass when this cache was published, but like so many caches from this CO I was intrigued by the description.
Today, heading into Canberra I made this my first stop to check out what niftyness has been created.
I started in my usual manner of looking everywhere but in the right places, and was joined by another chap who was there for the same purposes as me. We soon came across something that demanded further investigation, and shortly thereafter the tool was located.
Wasn't sure at first exactly how part A interacted with part B but the CO gave us a nudge in right direction and we soon had the cache in hand. A squiggle was made on the log and the cache was returned to its prison. Whilst possible on your own, a bit of teamwork sure makes it easier!
Thanks for another genius cache, Sui!

STF! at 8:16am!
This whole thing took about 2 hours in 2 trips. Yesterday I saw this get published and realized that it was only three kilometres away from my house! So even though it was pouring, I leapt on my bike and rode it all the way there! Luckily the cache was under the bridge so no rain reached me! However after about a hour I gave up and went home. My GPS was misleading me to the opposite corner and only with explicit hints from the CO was when I was able to get into the right place. I can't tell you how many times I went up and down, up and down. Since there was quite a lot of electric stiff nearby I was not thinking like a true cacher. So I went back.
Wake up today and zip out the door at 7 on my bike it was only about 1.6 degrees so I was freezing! After getting swooped by a bunch of magpies I arrived once more at GZ.
A quick zip up and OH! There is glass everywhere! Be careful future cachers! Realized how to get the tool and was precariously balancing to get it out. Now let me bring up what made this cache a D4 for me.
I am short, only about 1.5m so doing this was quite hard!
Figured out what I had to do and quickly had a lot of fun retrieving the cache! Log signed in the 2nd place.
But now the hardest part for me. Putting the cache back took a hour. No joke. It was so annoying and I didn't want to slip and fall. One hour of swearing and frustration later I reset it!
Bring someone tall!!
This is my new favourite cache. Is I had 1000 favourite points I would give it to this cache. But I don't, so just one.
