Completing the Adventure Lab made for an enjoyable afternoon, learning about the local area and thankfully not having any paranormal encounters. At GZ the cache was quickly located. TFTC, FP awarded
Took a while to wander around to this one. finally got here after picking up numerous other caches along the way. got a bit of a fright when we opened the cache nice hide
Found it! Revisited today and made a quick find! How did I miss that last time!? I guess it was just after midnight and pitch black!Springs have rusted and attachment is no longer attached, so could do with a little maintenance. Thanks for the adventure, completed the AdLab at night (highly recommend!) and found the bonus today. TFTC!
Didnt find it! Completed the AdLab at night and went searching for the bonus cache just after midnight. Couldnt spot it so will return another day in the daylight! TFTC!
Waking up to overcast skies and the occasional spot of rain, we decided to just cache in the local-ish area today. A tour of back country roads and small townships. Not a big number day but the quality was right up there.A bit of a bonus finding this area today while out and about. Would not have found it if not for caching. Really enjoyed the ad lab and of course this bonus final.TFTC froghoppin#9353
Our last full day staying around Gawler and only caching in the morning so to be out of the hot time of the day. Thanks for a very interesting AL and a great cache hide. FP given.
After completing the Lab Cache and gathered the info it was off to GZ. Easy and quick find, however it was an interesting cache within itself. Giving a FP for that reason. TFTC froghoppin
I particularly like historical towns so thanks for sharing this one with me. TFTC froghoppin
Wow, it was a great adventure lab and very interesting and plenty of history. The weather was so very warmer, but I won't stop until we complete the adventure and bonus.Worth to have FP from me.
Quick find while out and about grabbing caches.
Love the final!
Worthy of a fave point.

Most adventure labs we do we tend to walk, but this took us on multiple driving trips to complete. The places visited were interesting and varied, and surprisingly quiet on a Saturday, even the town locations. The highlight for us was the visit to the mines and the unexpected opportunity to walk the loop there, checking out the history and the remnants of the mining activity in Kapunda. Once we got all the information for GZ, the find there was quick and easy. TNLNSL TFTC
Took a while to find it, can you believe that? Very cute. Bag needed drying but log was fine. Thanks froghopin.
123404. Located by baby&Mrs gopher at 1325. After finishing the AL we were off to get a bonus. Took TB to move along the track SL Tnx froghoppin
Southern Autumn adventure Day 38. Mid North section of SA trip Day 9. Barossa Valley Day 1. I chose Kapunda as today's direction. The aim was to meander my way to and from Kapunda visiting lonely caches and a few solved puzzles. It was a great day and while I was in town I did the Lab set that is there. There is so much to see and plenty more caches for future visits.
Having completed the LAB caches, I was happy to get the numbers for the bonus and to be able to head off and find it.
Thanks for the cache froghoppin

Final cache for the Geocaching Goonies, sandelf, Marlee126, Peas&CarrotsForever, Aussiegal88, _staas and myself today. The sun hasn’t quite set, so we had time to grab this cache after completing the Adventure Lab in town, before heading back to the big smoke.
Had a fantastic day with some fun people, doing what we enjoying, finding plastic in the bush!

Spending a few days exploring and caching around the Clare Valley. Visiting some towns that I haven’t been before so lots of unfound geocaches up for grabs.
Day three was Riverton and Kapunda.
I completed the Adventure Lab trail on my previous visit to Kapunda but the final was in the opposite direction I was going. Today I was driving straight past so I stopped to make a quick find.
A favourite point from me for a very creative cache.
Thanks for the cache froghoppin.

Did this one with the Geo Grandaughter. We found a few old graves around the place and she was a little concerned with those where the ground had subsided to let the ghosts out. Next stop will be to find the real ghosts in the old pub.
A great cache but it was wet inside - needs a good dryout and new log book.
TFTC - a good fun one.

Day nine of our short South Australian trip with BettyBoo3747 and the geo-doggies.
Traveling from Blanchetown to Clare with a Cornish pastie in Kapunda.
A nice drive through the hills.
Grabbed a couple of AdLabs, and a few other odd caches we passed.
A nice final, but probably should have done this cache at night for a bit more atmosphere.
Really nice walk around the Copper Mine site, and the other way points were excellent too.
Thanks for the AdLab and Bonus.
Thanks, Robmc.

#19085. Day 9. of our Vic/SA trip with Robmc the geodogs and our bicycles. It was a moving day today between Blanchetown and Clare. So enjoyed the drive and the scenery once we got to Truro - beautifully green and lush at this time of the year. Spent a lot of time in Kapunda at the Copper Mine and in town. Gathered up 2 AdLabs and several caches along the way. Looking forward to the next four days based in Clare.
We did so enjoy this AdLab. Spent a very long time at the Copper Mine as mentioned above. Of course then we had to adjourn to town and find some Cornish pasties (and very delicious it was too). Spent a lot of time reading the boards about Kidman and now want to re-read Ion Idriess's book about him.
Off we went to GZ and I am sad to say that the amazing container is in good condition but unfortunately the log books is totally saturated and the plastic bag has been torn. We did stamp the log though and it is legible. Log book needs replacing urgently though. Favourite point for the interesting AdLab and this Bonus.
Thanks froghoppin

I enjoyed doing the Adventure Lab cache late at night, and happily came to no harm.
While on a roll, I came out here and located the container, and it's resident.

Out with iluvtrekking on a beautiful winters day- quite the opposite of yesterday. Love these rural hides - our preferred caching. Appropriate location for the final with a bit of a scare as well. Thanks for the hide froghoppin.
Another cache found with richlink on our 2022 South Australian Adventure.
A beautiful day to be out and about today in the countryside. Loved the AdLab and the Bonus. What a HOooOOt. Loved it.

Finally got back to get the Bonus Cache. Thank you for placing this great Adventure Lab and for reminding us of the great history in this town.
Grabbing a few caches around Kapunda while staying in Eudunda.
After completing the Lab Cache we were soon off to find this bonus.
We were anxious to see a truck and workers with a trench digger/grave digger?? working in the cemetery. Fortunately we were able to make a discreet find anyway, especially after waiting for a family exercising their two dogs to leave the cemetery.
This is definitely the best Lab Cache we have done and a great bonus cache at the end. Another Favourite point on it’s way
Many thanks for your excellent work froghoppin…..it’s really appreciated.

Well I got a genuine fright here - not from the obvious, but from a large mouse/small rat that was sitting on a branch in a tree near GZ. Way scarier than all the five waypoints for the Adventure Lab combined.
The cache itself is very well done and I’m adding a FP to all the others.
Thanks Froghoppin.

Found on a day trip to Gawler and the northern Barossa with Bob From Elsewhere.
After the storms a couple of days ago, I expected to see some damage around the area, but it must have been a bit further south as everything looked pretty good.
We made our way around the well spread out locations to complete the associated Adventure Lab cache, then it was off to GZ for a quick find, I enjoyed the surprise at the cache - worth a favourite point I think!
Thanks froghoppin for the puzzle and the cache.

Thanks for hiding. Good to be having a look around the area. Enjoyed the AL except that we parked on a huge ant nest near gz and we had angry ants crawling up our legs. Loved the themed final. Fav point Caching with Wollaston and SeasonedBird.
Full time nomads since 2014. Still tootling around the country trying to avoid Covid hotspots.

Time for another Friday Frolic for some members of the Befuddled Puzzle Solving Group. We gathered at the Rat Nest and myself, Blackadders and S.A. Sewer Rats headed out for a day of caching in and around Kapunda. Except for one cache that is currently off line we managed to find all we looked for. As usual there were a few laughs, a picnic lunch and these are the caches we found [B)]
This was a lot of fun - even in daylight. The fact there were also trads to get near the labs- bonus. Then there was this. Quickly spotted I reflected that I hadn't had any eerie encounters during the lab adventure. Well that changed getting this cache. FP for all the fun. [:X][:X]
Only one of the three goals from last year achieved. So once again trying and fill my calendar with multi-caches and complete loop 11 again this year. [^] For my third goal I will try and get my DNF numbers from over fifty to single digits. That should keep me busy again this year! [:o)]
***Thanks froghoppin for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

A great tour around the not so spooky parts of the Kapunda precinct. Not so spooky as I toured in the day light tho it was over cast today. Having a companion with me meant I was not as scared....
Thanks to froghoppin and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet! [^]
Found during a day out caching in the Kapunda and wider area with Freddo and Team Waldron. We signed our names in full or abbreviated to F.F.TW in caches that none of us had previously found, and in full when one or the other (various combinations) had already claimed on a prior visit. A total of around 40 finds for each of us today, plus 5 for the local Lab cache to clear up a nice area on the map. Thanks for the entertaining Adventure Lab, and the Lab Bonus cache froghoppin!
Freddo: I see dead people.
froghopping: In your dreams?
froghopping: While you're awake?
froghopping: Dead people like, in graves? In coffins?
Freddo: Walking around like regular people. They don't see each other. They only see what they want to see. They don't know they're dead.
froghopping: How often do you see them?
Freddo: All the time.
Freddo: I don't wanna be scared anymore.

This morning I headed north towards Kapunda/Nuriootpa to clean up the caches I had left in the area. A nice morning out dodgy the dry weather road only and the flys. Total of 47 finds for the day.

Found by Mary and David at 18:30. A FP for all these places you have shown us. M loves cemeteries for the carved symbolism of the headstones and the social history in the epitaphs. So much to love in these older places. Retrieved "Signal Frog Tag", dropped off "Aaron" TB, and "Montana Jack" visited. Our thanks to froghoppin.
Found It!
I solved this one last night before a trip via Kapunda to today's event. Quite a well built cache container at GZ that I spotted on the second pass!

Catching up with late logs.
A spur of the minute decision saw us change our mind and head to SA instead of home from Portland. We were targeting Earth Caches and Adventure Labs as it does not matter about muggles and most places are busy this time of year.
We had a great time exploring Kapunda with a feeling we were being watched all the time. We never saw any thing but are sure there was a spirit around. Once we finished the really enjoyable and well thought out Adventure it was time to try our luck at the bonus.
we are happy we did as the feeling of being followed has now left us as we left our name in the log.
Many thanks froghoppin for all the effort you put into the great Lab and this bonus cache, a favorite point from us.

Found it, nice looking cache, very interesting. Also our 500th cache completed whilst doing the Adventure lab, with LynsteNet and Animal62. A Fantasticly ghostly Lab cache to finish off our day. Tftc!
JJ52 and I had planned a day out on Boxing Day and we were to be accompanied by erine14
Sadly erine14 was unwell[xx(][xx(] and so she missed a full on day of caching - which erine14 is possibly grateful for
JJ52 suggested there were a few tracks that I shouldn't attempt but hey, we got through them all with the Corolla still in one piece[^]
Left my place just after 9am on the 26th and we arrived back at my place about 1.30am on the 27th[|)][^][|)]
What was to have been a trip to Kapunda, Burra and then Port Wakefield[^] ended up at Terowie[?] as there was a FTF waiting up there[^]
We had 1 DNF at the very 1st cache stop of the day and it could have been a FTF too but I did find 21 caches for the rest of the day, plus 10 adv lab WPs
Gave myself a case of heatstroke in Burra[xx(][xx(], after arriving too late to get the key to drive the adv lab there and hence having to walk at least 3.5km in 33 or more degree heat[xx(][xx(][|)][xx(] Luckily the old berocca tablet[^], litres of water and then a Golden North Giant Twin for me and a dandy cup for Rex had us feeling much better[^]
My thanks to JJ52 for doing the driving for a while so that I could cool down, rehydrate and resume thinking clearly[:X][^][^]
We found caches recommended for 4WDs but hey, it was dry today Luckily I'm pretty good at knowing where my wheels are[^] so we missed the big holes left by 4WDs
All in all a brilliant day[^] with 536km travelled
Having been in the group with earthlight and James0116 and completed the adv lab soon after publication, it has taken me this long to get back here to find the bonus cache
Drove JJ52 to all the WPs[^] and then we came here to grab this cache

I mentioned to locus cache at a recent event that I would like to have a trip to the mid north to complete 2 Adventure Labs up that way and we decided that today was going to be the day. [^] I also need 3 finds and 1 puzzle find for the day and that was accomplished very easily.
So we headed off with plans to head to Kapunda, then Burra and finishing at Pt Wakefield to get all the AL's. Now everyone knows that when you make plans with locus cache those plans very often change and you can end up somewhere that you had no idea you even wanted to go to. And I made the mistake of saying I needed one cache find for tomorrow but had planned on a quiet day home and didn't know where I would get a cache close to home...comment was made (a little tongue in cheek) that we could solve that by finding a cache after midnight then I wouldn't have to go out tomorrow! Little did I know that this would happen and I would find 7 caches on the 27th on the way back to locus' house.
We had a fun day even though it was hot and we nearly did ourselves in when we walked 3.5km around the Burra mine site. We even decided on the spur of the moment to go and try for a FTF in Terowie (which we did get) and in the process cleared out Terowie.
Arrived in Pt Wakefield at 11:00pm and completed the AL in the dark with the help of a very strong torch. By the time we left there it was getting close to midnight and we stopped in Virginia and surrounds for the next day caches. Then it was back to pick my car up and I made it home at 2:30am after a very long but enjoyable caching trip with a total of 32 caches found and 3 AL's completed, have to be happy with that.
This Adventure was one of my targets for today and after completing the Adventure Labs visiting some sites around Kapunda that I hadn't visited before I worked out the coordinates for this bonus. Arrived at GZ and found the nice big container and got a surprise when I opened it...very cool. Found the log book and added my stamp and returned everything as found. What a great Adventure and Bonus, a favourite for me today. [^]
Thanks for the Adventure froghoppin.

Today, jesswrigley and I started the day with a breakfast event north-east of the city, before travelling to Kapunda primarily to complete the *Kapunda Hauntings Adventure* Adventure Lab. It was great to visit Kapunda once again, and a nice historical little mining town, and we enjoyed our walk around the old mining area. We did a few other adventures in the area, before heading back home via Seppeltsfield.
I had suspected this geocache's hiding place, and was scared that we would need to back track to another location that we had already visited. However as it turned out, I was on the right path, but was in another spot suitably themed to this geocache and Adventure Lab. The Adventure Lab was great, and a different aspect to what could have been the usual Kapunda tourist trail. I really enjoyed the final cache construction, and an overall well done, with a rewarded Favourite Point from me. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks froghoppin for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

Up in the Barossa visiting SnappyTomCats for the weekend...We spent the afternoon solving puzzles when the weather was hot...
After dinner we headed to Kapunda to collect a few caches...after the sun went down it was the perfect time to do the Kapunda Hauntings Adventure Lab cache...in the dead of night
First headed to St John's Cemetery and Ruby's Grave. There were 3 car loads of people there which was quite interesting...wonder what they were up to...we said a friendly hello as we passed...There were no ghostly figures but as I was nearing Ruby's Grave and reading her story I felt a shiver...not sure if it was a ghost or whether I scared myself
We took a pleasant wander via a cache we had grabbed earlier...a deja vu moment...it was still a balmy 30 degrees night...we arrived at Tommy Knockers but did not hear the knocking...
Off to the courthouse...don't know if someone lives in there or whether they working late as the light was on inside...*spooky music inserted here*...
Finally arrived at the old Hotel...I was a bit disappointed not to see an apparition in the window...
The co-ordinates for this bonus cache was calculated and off to the final location...*spooky*
It scared the bejeezus out of me...thanks for that
Anyway great Adventure Lab cache and Bonus...Favourite Point added...
Thanks for placing the cache for our enjoyment froghoppin

Hevwalker is visiting for the weekend, and we decided to head out after having a BBQ dinner and grab some caches while we waited for nightfall before tackling the Haunted Adventure Lab! After completing the Adventure Lab in the dark we worked out the coords and headed of to find this. Hevwalker opened the cache and got a fright! lol Awesome container and cache guardian. A Favourite point has been added, TFTC and thanks for setting up a great Adventure Lab.
Nicely put together labs.
Bonus cache found easily after collecting the info required.
Great work on the cache too.

A Rat and A snake went out caching.
Wow it's hot out there.
But caching we went and celebrate my birthday.
Have been to the spooky places a few times before.
We traveled from spooky place to another.
Only to end up in another spooky place.
Loved the hide, giving a fav point. Tftc

A warmish day had the Adder and the Rat out once more in this area. A town that we had previously cleared out with smilies but as it always goes, more hides pop up.
Starting with the Adventure associated with this bonus cache we visited all the supposed spooky locations where we awaited some calling from the other side. No, nothing, just quiet inhabitants who were not in the mood for talk or appearance. Maybe it is just that the Adder does not believe in all that ghost nonsense.
Gathering up all the required information steered us to this place. Another quiet crowd of inhabitants.
The cache seemed rather familiar, Hmm where have we seen a similar idea?
A fav for the effort and a TFTC for the hide.

Out in the Barossa on a lovely spring day with CPwanderer
I had been here before, but only to grab the cache on the other side & to grab a few munzees.
So it was a pleasant stroll in completing this adventure lab, it was also interesting to navigate our way around the final bonus cache gz as I'd not been here before.
Thanks for the hide froghoppin, a favourite

Found with clare007!!! Really enjoyed the wander to each stage of the lab cache!!!! An impressive final container with an equally impressive guardian!! A favourite!!!
After a fun dash around the spooky Kapunda region on the adventure lab, between work and the thunderstorms, I soon had some handy numbers. These led me to another nearby spooky area with a sense of almost deja vu... or was it the psychic connection with one of the lab folk
I had to finish the ad lab with a real cache (as the lab ones don't seem to count in my daily tally [:(!] ) so was very glad the spooky frogs had finished it off in style with this bonus. (In fact the bonus was how I knew it had been published at all...)
The loan car enjoyed the dirt roads to the first site An overall fun experience with not a mint tin in sight so it gets a fav from me. Even before I got to the end bonus
Of course the end was the highlight of the whole adventure.
A cache with a spooky view. But rather friendly really.
Signed the virgin ghoulbook, around 1810hrs, for a {FTF} and a happy smiley
Thanks for the adventure and the real cache at the end froghoppin [^]
Stay safe as the borders open. A cache a day keeps the virus away
