Sorry. My Muggle pal who does maintenance of my Quorn caches is leaving town so I can't maintain this cache. Removed from GZ.
Met up with the froghoppin couple and with Purrfect Di and Jack to clean some of the colourful little marks from the geomap. A good chance to find some new ones and redeem a few old dnfs too.
A nice quick find of an impressive size cache. Nice theme too, although the container now is looking like it's been thrown around the seven seas on Captain Jack's Pearl... a bit damp and unhinged!
Benjamin Screamer we thank you for locating and maintaining the cache on our ever growing SA geo-map
---
Driving around - searching, spotting strange items and signing cache logs using some or all of the resources of GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife), Whereyougo, Garmin Montana 750i, Montana 680t, Etrex 35, Samsung S21u, Samsung S9, with Geocaching App, c:Geo, or Geooh Go, and Android Auto and other maps... or often with just a guyess or plain old dumb luck
Plenty of the luck stuff actually !!!
*All the online logs are composed and published with GSAK of course.*
---
Danger! Caching is a very hazardous activity!
Look out for sand, mud, snakes, surprise cliffs, roos, wombats, things falling from trees, bulldust, and floods, and try not to get tetanus from rusty mint tins and don't fall off your ladder...
-- -- -- -- -- -- -- and do watch out for bugs !!! . [xx(]
Make Travel Bugs the Only bugs you share and pass on (Covid cancels caching!)
Keep a safe distance - cache the countryside
Heaps good of all those placing quality caches out and about around the country areas,
in sensible safe places especially! - it keeps our game fun, and interesting
Much appreciate you reading all this extra addition to the log word count! There's a challenge somewhere out there, apparently! You win a virtual smiley for the effort and getting to the end of the log Maybe if I worked out where I could do it and go back to normal logs again ! If you find the challenge let me know and we can put an end to these long logs !!!

Having to drop off the bird at a friends house in Quorn while we tackle a few days on Eyre Peninsula with Mattycat and Perfect Di gave us the chance to pick up a few around town before hitting the road, quick find and nice to see a descent size cache for a change

Headed out early with iluvtrekking for a day caching around Quorn. Although chilly in the morning it’s promising to be a lovely day. Hard to miss that container full of booty. Didn’t pillage but appreciate the effort of this one. Thanks Benjamin Screamer
Found with richlink as part of our 2022 South Australian Adventure.
Today we toured from PA to Quorn and Hawker and back to PA.
That was undoubtedly a treasure trove that we left for others to enjoy.
Thanks for adding to our adventure.

Thanks Benjamin Screamer! What an amazing cache! Lots to look at. All in good condition. Hidden well but easy to locate.
Day 2 of the south australia Covid getaway.
Caching in and around Quorn, nice to see some new caches since we were last here
We started off with a walk around town and then after lunch we tackled the Dutchman’s Stern, great walk and súper to find a golden oldie at the summit.
We saw a fair bit of wildlife, snake, Roos and a scorpion.
Another fun hide TFTC BS

That is another awesome cache hide. Well it is not so much hidden as placed. Great swag.
I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count.
The cache was found in the last place we looked, which as usual was not the first place we looked. Thanks for placing a fun cache guys. We do love your work. We signed the logbook. Of course we did that is way we play this game. Cache in pretty good condition for the cache age.

Full time nomads exploring SA. We are now heading north to Darwin, but diverted to Quorn to see the Silo Light show last night. Leaving today but decided to attempt some more caches here in Quorn before leaving.
Wow what great work.

We are on a 2 week break and travelled up to Marree, then drifted our way down through the Flinders Ranges gorges and scenic drives. Our last few days are at Quorn where we have decided to get some smileys. This was a fabulous find. Well done Benjamin Screamer. I have not had full mobile or internet access since leaving home, so I could not access the information or hints to this cache, therefore did no know of the pirate theme until back to an internet location. I trooped across the prickly ground with 2 trade items, as I could at least see that it was a large cache and I had plenty of goodies in the car. Sadly I did not have pirate stuff, but left a turtle and squeezy stress ball in the cache. Perhaps someone can remove them to keep the chest with the pirate theme. I don't give many favourites, but this one definitely gets one. TFTC.

Away for a week on some R 'n' R from the shop and to recover from an exhausting 10th Birthday celebration for Geostuff. Today we left Whyalla and headed for Quorn. At GZ we removed the camo, and immediately knew we where going to be in for a treat. OMG look at all that treasure! We had fun going through it all, and also scored a podium find! Definately a rare STC Fav point awarded to this one, for the size, the effort, the fun and the booty! TFTC Benjamin Screamer
Camped at Mambray Creek for cpl days, and too hot for a hike this arvo, so we came hunting for treasure instead..
Seems that the treasure was plundered 17mins before us by RedBeard!
Our ship needed fuel, the crew needed ice cream bribes on the way, and paused to peruse some 600 million year old cracks on the way too, so we were beat to a treasure whose map was published 3+ days ago.... the scurvy dogs...
TNLNSL
Thanks

We had no plans for the New Year weekend, and after having a little sleep-in, decided to head out for an adventure. We were not able to use our planned break back in November, so thought a long drive and a night away would do us good to refresh. Also, thought we would try our luck for a first to find, to kick start the new year!
The drive up took a little longer, having the geo-pup with us now, but he loves car rides!! Arriving near GZ we walked in being cautious of wriggly sticks. What a fantastic hide, with a lot of thought and effort!! Definitely deserves a fav point!!
