Thanks SAGEO_5 for placing this cache and for the ongoing maintenance. Find #10399 on 5/10/2024 at 4:47PMAlways good to head of caching especially on a long weekend. I decided to have another go at the bike series. Last time I was out here the river was in flood so I didnt get to venture to the other side. Collecting some OYB today and others that appear along the way.
Ahh a long weekend caching in South Australia with the Gong Gangsters is way too good an opportunity to pass up. With dates set and leave passes granted we managed a 4-day caching spree - targeting the On ya bike series. The variety of finds was wide and diverse, we travelled with our own totts. Our finds are logged with our Gangster stamp or GG on the smaller logs. Thanks to all the COs who provided us with a great weekend, filled with laughter, banter and much more that cant be said. Thanks to my fellow caching buddies - steeba, Hoojar and Wilbert.TFTC
The temptation of finding nearly 1,000 caches on a road trip in South Australia was proving all too tempting. So a date was set, flights were booked, and a car was hired. The Rats, Steeba, Wilbert67 and I were off to tackle the On Ya Bike series, and surrounding caches. Cache logs were either stamped, or signed GG (Gong Gangsters). We covered a great many kilometres, finding caches and enjoying the scenery. We camped under the stars. We enjoyed cold weather, rain and a winter heat wave. We cached in the dark. We cached in the light. We found some ordinary caches, and some brilliant ones.As is so often the case with our trips, the banter was constant, the jeering persistent, and the company excellent. Mind you, it is a lot easier to listen to Rugby League on the radio in the great State of New South Wales! This boiler-plate log does not take anything away from some of the excellent caches that we found, and I am appreciative of all of the cache hiders for their efforts in placing and maintaining all of these hides. We all ticked over mini Milestones during this trip, but notably I found my 28,000th cache. A Milestone I am very happy to have shared with my mates; mates that I have found thousands of caches with previously. Heres to many more caching adventures!Cheers Wilbert67

Found with The Rats, Hoojar and Wilbert67. Another big trip some time in the making to get some good numbers. Plenty of solving and working out final coordinates, packing lists and arranging transport from New South Wales to some of the mallee country of South Australia. As always plenty of laughs and great company. As always a variety of types and hides.Unless otherwise flagged cache found all ok. Thanks for placing these series.TFTC!
Find # 15037Been a while since I've been out solo for a long trip. But things change over time. And I'm living the past.So with some time off work, I've jumped the border wall to chase down some long trails in South Aussie... don't know how many I'll get. But I've got quite a few downloaded. I do have a short hit list ( of 2) caches to help with a challenge. All others are just for the Adventure and countryside views. Armed with all the necessary TOTT from tweezers and magnet grab to 6m ladder and 8m fishing pole. I believe I'm prepared for all that I'll come across. (Just had to leave the Kayak at home )Day 3. Early start and had first grab at 0601HZig Zagging around pipeline roads. Tackling some climbs and the corrugations. By 1000H I had finally completed the series West of Swan Reach with a couple others thrown in for good luck ... then it was time to hit the trail back east, go for broke n see what I can achieve for the day. TFTC SAGEO_5
Day 4 headed back over the river to do some more Thanks SAGEO_5 for this series tftc
A week of camping with Hellyonfire and Tonka had us driving around collecting caches as we went. We targeting a few solved on your bikes while we were at it. TFTC

Day 2 Tiz13 still loves her jigsaw puzzles but ...How many bike jigsaw puzzles is too many??? They did start driving me nuts... And any future ones will instantly remind me of this expedition Day 1 went so well that the Adventure Bound group aka Tiz13, echocage1 DARKSIDEDAN and Loci612 thought that it would be a great idea to try to get a PB of 400 with these on your bike caches. So the shenanigans started early and ended late as we kept pushing until we finally got there...logs signed or stamped AB or ABG (Adventure boys/Gals ) depending on who signed (don't ask) I signed the caches I found with ABAdventure Bound All caches found, some quicker than others, some higher or lower than expected, a few offered us a challenge that we took turns in accepting. All in all, a very successful interesting fun day 2 that saw a few of us getting bitten by various insects and almost a snake..
Out and about again today to nab a few more of the On Your Bike series. It's a good thing the ferry operator changes a lot as we seem to be going back and forth quite a bit lately. All but 3 caches were found today - the 3 not 'found' were sighted but we need a ladder for them so will borrow one to claim these caches. Thanks to SAGEO 5 for providing us with another busy day of caching.tftc#8592
- **On your Bike - Day 2** -**SIGNED AB!***Loci612 / DARKSIDEDAN / Tiz13 / echocage1*Yesterday was a trial run to see what this series was like, and how quickly we might be able to get through it! We managed to pick up almost 1/4 of the caches that day, with extra time in the late afternoon to do some tougher ones as a reward! So we agreed that today we would be able to shoot for 400 in a day if we were more focused on the series itself! It ended up being a 14 hour day of caching starting at 7:30am. That did include one break for dinner at Swab Reach Pub, where we regained our energy and contemplated whether we had met the goal. We came to a conclusion that we potentially miscounted and were a small handful of caches short, so we went back out and picked up some harder ones to round off the total, not finishing until 9:30pm at night! What an epic series, 10 years playing this game and I doubled my previous most in a day, just like that! Huge thanks to SAGEO_5, but mainly to the individual persons involved with this account and setting up this epic series!
Generic Log Out with The Seagnoid and Munja for a short assault on a hot dayTYFTC SLTNLN
I am trying to make the Feb29 Mega in Adelaide my 20,000th find, and that means keeping a close eye 19685 on my numbers. So this is just a temporary log to help me keep my numbers accurate. I'll expand on this when I get home.Find # 19685Found with SkuzzyBear and Munja, signed as TJM
When the Seagnoid sent me a message inviting me join him and SkuzzyBear in an attempt to greatly increase his find count, I could not resist the opportunity to do some caching. The plan was, initially, to target the On Your Bike series; using this series to make up most of the required numbers. However, upon suggestion, we decided to begin our efforts by attempting the NVRATHM series. With those caches completed, we made our way to the On Your Bike series. Having done the first few out of Swan Reach we decided to head a certain distance down the trail and work our way back west. This proved a good decision as the vast majority of the caches in this section are on the southern side of the road and, therefore, on the left-hand side; which made things a lot easier for us. We soon made good pace with this section as we got into the swing of things. All caches were found in good condition unless otherwise stated. Eventually, a few hours later, we had made our way through the section we were after and were back in Swan Reach. With the somewhat late hour, we made our way back to Sedan so SkuzzyBear could make their way back home. This was an enjoyable day with good company and a good find count. All logs were signed with the team name TJM, or some variation of these three letters.Find #8767, at 04:21 pmTFTC
Day two (of only two) of solo caching mostly for On Your Bike series of geocaches. Sandyofthesea loved doing the jigsaws and I am really happy to be out here. Its a huge effort to place and maintain such a large amount of geocaches. The geocaching community members are awesome!! Thank you!I stayed overnight in an ATCO hut at the Swan Reach pub. The steak was good.We have been in SA for about a month now and heading back to WA briefly tomorrow.SAGEO_5, I found On your Bike #294 today. Found this cache during an epic long weekend of geocaching with some likeminded geofriends collectively known as Puzzld. #1 of Search 4 really enjoys online puzzles and started working on these puzzles quite some time ago. I also thank this series for giving me something to do during a 2 week solo COVID hotel quarantine. Thanks for the series that tempted me to drive interstate from ACT to complete. Our first day out and about with our Puzzld group on a glorious day doing the OYB series. Thanks to SAGEO-5 for all the work to place and maintain these caches. Such amazing geoart in a stunning location. Great coords. Love to see the red and white but hopefully its a black & white this weekend! Go PiesCheers and thanks to the fabulous Puzzld crew
Find # 9499On my way to Mildura to meet up with some caching friends to begin our epic On Your Bike series adventure. Picking up some counties, oldies, and other specials along the route to add to my tally and to stretch the legs. This was a quick and easy find and here as PUZZLD! at On your Bike #294 today with Ronice88, kbucky, De Ja Vu, Bounty Trackers, Search4, and weirdobiker. Thanks so much for the many caches SAGEO_5 and of course for giving me a reason and incentive to get out here, and to experience this part of the world in a different light
Stamped as PUZZLDTeam consists of Ronice88, Weirdobiker, Contesta, DeJavu, Search 4, Kbucky & myself Bounty Trackers. On a 5day (maybe more) caching expedition with On Ya Bike series as the main objective then on to the Paddle steamer series we are all staying in Nildotte for 3 nights then moving up to Loxton for another 2 nights. With events at either end. And hopefully a few caches placed before 2010 will also be on our hit list. Lots of fun & laughs had along the way and lots of car doors opened & closed. Thanks for placing and maintaining the series.
How fabulous and mind boggling is this monumental geoart! On a multi project in the true sense of the word far from home base which is at higher altitude. The project idea to embark on the OYB series with a group of likeminded geobuddies AKA PUZZLD had its mad genesis a few months ago - what better way to attempt it!Travelling with contesta, kbucky, dj vu, search4, bounty trackers and weirdo biker over a few days mixing and matching skills with good humour and camaraderie. Thanks a zillion to the COs for the variety of caches and challenges. Im imagining a recovery session after this exhausting marathon!
We set out early today to try to start this geoart series. We had a great day searching and signing logbooks as Pzzld. Solving these jigsaws was initially during covid times and dreaming of ways to escape Victoria. Caching as a group in SA was a celebration of our collective freedom. Thanks for the caches.
We are in SA with a group of like minded people to do this series as team Puzzld which consists of myself, Ronice88, contesta, de ja vu, search4, kbucky and Bounty Trackers. Lots of caching fun over the next few days

Heading to Swan Reach to do some maintenance on one of my caches. I stopped to pick up a few more caches on the “On Your Bike” power trail.
All caches found were in good condition and were found without too many problems. A couple required TOTTs which I came well prepared for.
Thanks for the cache SAGEO_5.

During previous visits we have been able to find about three quarters of the caches in this series. After the Whittlesea Event, we planned to come back to the series, although we did not know if flooding from the Murray River might be an issue. Thankfully, there were no issues getting to the On Your Bike series yesterday and today.
Using an appropriate tool, we soon had the coordinates for GZ. Today we went to look for the cache. Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks SAGEO_5 for the cache and the series.

*Another big geocaching trip to Australia with woolwood9.*
Our main focus was on this "On Your Bike" Wherigo series but of course we couldn't resist many stops on the way plus other good trails!
**Really appreciate the effort put into this cache series.**
We put a lot of hours into solving and planning.
*Thank you for adding to our enjoyment - we must be keen as we brought our collapsible ladder and tree fishing pole over on the plane with us!!*
With the flooding and rain it was 6 long days to visit them all and many were not easy finds. Only 2 of the tree climbs were too high for us to get and 3 other caches only were not able to be located, so overall a great trail with mostly very good logs & containers.
*This section went pretty well and we really enjoyed talking to ilook4geo & goingplaces2 who stopped to talk to us along the trail.
I was a bit slow today - my back was giving me trouble from where yesterday I took a tumble when a tree branch broke and I hit the ground quite hard!
Later in the day it got quite bad so we ended up driving to Loxton to get some pain relief.
The second (of only 2) caches we couldn't get to was on this part - #783 which was up higher than others and I was not feeling so mobile, we reluctantly moved on.*
All logs stamped: **tm/ww NZ**

Thanks to all the cache owners for their efforts in placing the hides.
This series was the main reason for our trip.
Enjoyed it immensely, Co-ords were great, containers were great and relativity easy to find (but not always easy to retrieve)
The weather was changeable having a couple of days of dodging the downpours.
All completed in six days.
Beautiful winters day out doing more of this series with iluvtrekking. Love the rural roads and the scenery. Thanks SAGEO_5

For this series, I teamed up with a bunch of, as you SA people say, mexicans. We stayed in the Swan Reach area and headed out dayly to complete the series over three days. We certainly had fun with plenty of shennanigans and merriment had by all. In the evenings we usually came together for a meal and a drink with plenty of tall talls told over a couple of beers. After that, Team Crackers, Geoturtle37 , Papi4506 and I began the journey to the Mega event in Townsville.
Thanks SAGEO_5 (F=246 H=1071) for placing this cache and adding to our game.

We found this cache on Day 2 of our On Your Bike Series Trail. We had 24 geocachers on the hunt today with our half of the group in Team A signing as Vic1. We were teamed up with Muzza, Micaparamedic, BeckNmonts, McLookers, The Pacman, Alansee, Team Crackers and Maccamob. A great tour of the gradually changing Mallee countryside. A great day of fun and friendship was had by all. Thanks for placing this wonderful trail from D & HA B-A

Found by Mary and David. Our second day on the "On Your Bike" Wherigo trail wth a group of Victorian friends. Once again we were in VIC 1 with Team Crackers, McLookers, The Pacman, Alansee, muzza, BeckNmonts and Rabbitto. We began at Maggea and cached our way in to Loxton where we had a fuel and coffee break. Then cached back to the bottom part of Netherleigh Road for the rest of the day. Our thanks to SAGEO_5
Found with a great group of friends. Signed as VIC1 again today. Day 2 of three. Many thanks to SAGEO.
First off we want to thank the CO for the massive effort that it has taken to place all these caches, let alone the work that must have gone into the puzzles to make the geo art. With so many caches found it wasn't possible to keep track of them all so we are doing a generic log and we hope the owner understands that this does not distract anything from this fantastic series.
After being foiled by covid on our last two attempts to get over here we finally had it organized and we met up with Alansee, Becknmonts, maccamob, McLookers, Muzza , Pacman & Rabbitto after being on the road before sunrise to meet at the Loxton end for a long day of caching heading back towards our accommodation at Swan Reach.
This was another early start before sunrise to head back to Loxton today completing all the ones on the main road and many as we could before dark after that. We did have an enjoyable bakery and fuel stop in Loxton.
We managed 365 caches today and even with a lot of getting in and out of the cars so many times we had a fantastic time with a great group of people with many eyes that most of the caches were found quickly,a few eluded us for a little while.
The only hold up today was one flat tyre and the change over was done in almost record time with everyone grabbing a different bit, it was like we were in a formula i race team at a pit stop.
To save room on the log paper we signed or stamped VIC 1, many thanks SAGEO_5 for the cache.
Firstly, thank you to our organisers with regard to getting us all together in one place. Bit like herding cats I think. Thanks must also go to our driver for taking on this task for us. But the biggest thanks has to go to those that put in the time, money, and effort to place this monumental geoart for us.
We split into two groups so the convoy wasn't too long and met up each night to discuss the days frivolities. All caches were found although some took longer than others, even if they shouldn't have. Both groups had a great time and again, thanks must go to the CO's of this trail.

Found at 1:00 PM in the company of the gang that attacked the OYB series the next 3 days - we signed as "B Team"

Our first day of bicycle building with a team of fellow Victorians, the 'B Team' (as per green logging stamp). A very warm morning, then we watched the clouds build as we enjoyed a coffee in Loxton, returning to base at Blanchetown with the wipers working quietly.
Thanks SAGEO_5 for placing this cache series on the gameboard.

As part of the "B Team", we had a great time with awesome company, All caches were found and there were many many laughs.
There are a lot of people that contributed to making this happen and we sincerely thank each and every one of you, especially our organiser extraordinaire and our very helpful chauffeur.
This would not have been possible without the huge amount of effort that the CO has put into creating, placing and now maintaining this series.

Found in the company of several Victorian teams and one from NSW. The weather was beautiful, the people were committed and the caches were all there, what's not to love. Thanks for the fun everyone
Day three of our caching trip to South Australia saw us out on the On Your Bike series.
This was our first day on this trail and we were working hard.
We stopped off for a few other caches as well as we passed by.
We were caching with a great group of caching friends and we logged as The B Team.
We enjoyed the variety of cache types.
Thank you to the Cache owners for making the effort to create and maintain these caches.
The day had started out fine but a change later in the day saw a bit of rain and wind.
We did enjoy a stop off at Loxton for a coffee and chat as well.

Our bike hunting group was a little depleted today with only four of us out together. There was four in another car who headed off in a slightly different direct to us. Funny thing is we met up twice as we cached our way around the area. Any cache containers or logs that needed replacing were replaced. Over all we had a fantastic time today.

We had spent a lot of time in and out of Lockdowns doing jigsaw puzzles to find the required numbers. Out on the road now. Today was a combination of Wherigo, and multis along with some. Traditional caches. A great day on the hunt.

Adelaide and South Australia Trip Christmas 2021/2022. Day 12. The next phase of my journey is underway. I am in Loxton with Fitzy_1965, MinnieK, Sol de Lune and Smitten Granny to attempt to finish the On You Bike where-i-go caches. We have managed to solve them all before we arrived. Today we left the van park bright and early and began with the ones closest to Loxton. We had an amazing day, managing just over 350 caches and more uses of the ladder than I can easily count. I think this will leave us half a day for tomorrow. We ended the day with the Labs in Swan reach.
This trip to Loxton had been a year coming as I had missed out last year due to other commitments. The group had increased and the target list of caches was much higher. It had been a group effort to deal with all the jigsaw puzzles and then the Reverse Where-i-gos were sorted out with the various online tools. The trip was looking at risk as the COVID situation stretched and stretched, but at least SA kept to its plans to open the borders and we all jumped through the hoops required to get across the border. The weather was looking extreme as the journey approached and it did not disappoint. The daytime temps were from 36-42 over the days of this exercise and it made for some hard work and lots of water usage.
Thanks for the cache SAGEO_5

Day 3: SA/Vic Christmas holiday trip
Last Christmas holidays, fitzy_1965 and I (along with two geo-kids, Death Killer & my_name_jeff_1) headed to SA to visit family whilst we could, and to collect as many counties and caches as possible along the way. We decided even before getting home that we needed to go back. The added incentive of more On You Bike series sealed the deal. Fast forward through 2021 (because who wants to remember that), and here we are again. This time with extra company in the form of Sol de lune, Smittengranny and albida33.
Today we got up early to try and beat some of the heat (think it must have been over 40 at some point). We also decided to start at the end closest to us so that we weren’t wasting too much time driving when we could be caching. A big day for us with over 350 finds made. As a reward to ourselves, we ended up in Swan Reach for a cold drink and some dinner.
All caches were signed as FAMSS and were found quickly and easily unless otherwise mentioned.

25,919. Found with minniek, Sol de Lune, Smittengranny and albida33 during our post Christmas / New Year trip over to South Australia and Victoria to tackle the On Your Bike and Paddle Steamer series among many other caches.
Today we started at the Loxton end and headed (mostly) West. All caches were a nice quick find - sometimes using the appropriate TOTT - unless otherwise stated. Signed as FAMSS. This was our longest day.
When minniek and I were in South Australia in January this year (2021) doing the On Your Bike series of (then) 100 Wherigo caches, we were talking to the CO who mentioned that a whole lot more were soon to be published, and they were - 512 more ! So once back home we set about solving all those new ones which was at least something to do during 'stay at home' orders effecting us. Then once they were all solved we planned a trip over to grab them. Then just to add to the fun the latest 152 were published just in time for us to spend time solving them all so we could get the whole set. With our caching friends Sol de Lune, Smittengranny and albida33 this series was our main aim, but with the 'Around the World in 81 caches' series, various solved puzzles and the Paddle Steamer as standby if we got the time.
We managed some BIG days caching and finished off the On Your Bike series in three days, then attempted the mammoth 'Around the World in 81 caches' series and some lovely high/rare D/T caches - all in searing summer heat peaking at over 40 degrees ! Once they were finally completed we headed over to the Mildura region for another two blistering hot days doing the Paddle Steamer series. After camping for five nights we finally relented and got hotel rooms for the last two nights and worked the air conditioning to the bone.
All in all an amazingly fun time was had, and we have all made room in our calendars for when the next part of the On Your Bike series is published - no pressure ! Highlights included many of the fun tree climbs, the pole caches which increased our skills at the recovery and replacements of those styled caches, and the relaxed times and banter around the camp site at the end of each tiring day - including New Years Eve !
Thanks to all the COs for contributing their caches to our fun times, and I must apologise for the generic logs as we did find well over one thousand caches which now require logging !

Decision was made to joined in the South Australia tour to hit up this On Ya Bike series with fitzy_1965, Minniek, Smittengranny and Albida33 (who had driven up from his Christmas visit to Adelaide). After getting across the SA border with only a stop for one of us to be (re) tested, we headed to our camping area at Loxton and set up camp.
Day 2 on the series trail dawned and again once we were soon into the swing of it, we started searching for the same style of hide and most times the caches were found quickly, but of course there was the odd one or two that took a few good minutes to locate. The temp today hit the low 40's, so it was another day with lots of sunscreen and lots of water. [xx(][xx(] However it was another good day out with a total of just over 350 caches found on the day. And again those beers, back at a pub in Loxton this time, went down very very well.
(Forgot to add) All logs were signed FAMSS for fitzy_1965, Albida33, Minniek, Smittengranny and Sol de Lune
Thanks again for the series SAGEO_5 and another great day out.

The mob from ACT and Goulburn planned a full on attack today to see how many of the On Your Bike series (and a few extras thrown in for good luck) we could find. It was to be a hot day so we decided to leave early and despite everything we managed to be on the road by 7:30 am.
Off we went away from Loxton towards our goal. There were no DNFs but we did replace some of the caches that were missing and they will have notes added. Having found over 350 caches please excuse the generic logs. This is by far the biggest day ever for me so big thanks to the COs of all caches and to my buddies for their support, encouragement and company.
A great power trail that gave us much success and a huge sense of achievement.

Back for a slog on the On you Bike series on our biggest day yet, setting a target of at least 300 finds for the day.
The Millicent Mega trip had been a long time in the making, for the Tassie trio of stainless steel rat, budgietas and gooseandegg, due to a couple of false starts thanks to COVID19. More and more caches were added to the extensive list as planning was being finalized. We focused on old caches, large caches, certain D/Ts, virtual caches, the On your Bike series and a few other special ones on our journey. Our route saw us caching in Adelaide for a few days before heading north via Gawler to the Barossa in preparation for the On your Bike series, whilst basing ourselves at a gorgeous cottage in Waikerie. We continued on to Renmark for a night before the long trek south to Millicent.
Some of the many highlights along the way were Gawler Fort Knox, Dustin’s Cache, Barossa High and Riverland (the oldest surviving geocache in South Australia).
At the Mega we caught up with a few of our caching friends, made some new ones, and of course missed many who could not make it this time. The weather was not the best in Millicent, and a COVID19 situation in Mt Gambier altered our plans but we had plenty of caches to keep us busy between showers, including tree climbs, plenty of adventure labs, and the entertaining Finding a Fish series - giving the new pole a good workout for the first time.
Thanks to all the CO’s who have placed and maintained all these caches that made our adventure so memorable.

After 'completing' the On Your Bike series last time we were in SA we just had to come back and collect the rest of them didn't we. Myself Goose of GooseandEgg and BudgieTas were all up from Tassie to grab these before we all headed to the Mega 400km away, a great series done over a number of days with at least one BIG numbers day thanks to great teamwork.
Even with the numbers being down it was great to attend a Mega and at least get to meet some fellow cachers after so long and catch up with a few people, we flew over from Tassie on Thursday and after spending a few days in Adelaide we headed Northeast to clean up some series and then head South to Millicent for the start of the Mega long weekend.
This trip has changed so many times since it was first booked and I'm glad we got to do it at long last, to start with it was just myself and GooseandEgg nipping over for the Mega and then it was a few more days with the addition of 1 toolman, then with lockdown it was back to two of us but then another Tassie cacher in the shape of BudgieTas stepped up to the plate and we were back on for an over a week trip to grab a few caches before the Mega and then finish off with Millicent before flying home on the Tuesday.
Thanks for the cache.

This was part of a cache finding run of 335 caches in the day. What a long day it was starting 6 and non stop until the rain hit as it turned dark.
Thank you for the series, it was a tiring and rewarding day
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Early in 2021 I received an invite from GoosenEgg and Stainless Steel Rat to join them on a caching trip to the Mega in South Australia. As planning got underway some caches with high Favorite points, very old caches, and the On Your Bike Series were listed as "must-dos"
The trip ended up being 10 days of solid and very enjoyable caching with quite a few highlights. The find count for the trip was around the 950 mark when all GCA, Adventure Lab, and GC caches are included. The high point for finds was a day of 335 finds in the one day, which would have been more, but a sudden storm put the end to caching for the day. No one was interested in getting out of the car to find a cache in a downpour in the dark
We were lucky enough to find Gawler Fort Knox, Dustin's Cache, and my favorite for the trip Barossa High (From 21st of January 2001 with the original log book still in place) all in the one day.
Unfortunately, the caching around the mega was beset by bad weather and the day we had put aside for Mount Gambier was scrapped due to a covid case in Mount Gambier on the previous day, so we avoided the area. We all enjoyed the Fishing series and just managed to get the remaining of these before the light failed for the day.
In the end I managed to completed my D/T grid for the first (and possibly the second time) which was my aim for the year, although some of the D/T combinations were not really achievable in Tasmania without a 3 day overnight bush walk.

Logging a find as part of the beta tester crew for this giant geoart series. A lot of work has gone into putting this series together. Thanks to SAGeo05 and your helpers.

Found out for drive with allister and friends doing the on your bike wherigo series. All logs stamped as mystery randoms
Out for a day with the JAMS crew ( JJ52, Allister w, Mogni, Sir_spectre, the last memeber was busy today ) plus Tallbikestan. Today we targetted the "On your bike " series. Since it was going to be a day of large numbers, 466 caches found we went under the name of " Mystery Randoms " . Today for a change i wasn't the primary tree climber that went to allister w and Tallbikestan. We used a 3.8 meter ladder or a 6.2 meter ladder and sometimes climbed off the top of that, other times it was just free climbing the trees or the use of a extension pole. Some of the pole caches where found on the ground and replaced up the tree, one was even found in the farmer's paddock. We finished the last 10 or so of the 466 under torch light. That leaves me 30 wherigo's for the next trip to finish off.
Enjoyed a day away from home, watching the river while eating lunch, looking at the crops and spotting some wild life - including a sand goanna guarding a cache

GENERIC LOGS
LOCKDOWN HAS FINISHED. I managed to miss 2 multi-cache days in lockdown so I guess it will be at least July 2022 before I complete that calendar. [:(!]
Today was all about completeing the On Your Bike Series. Joining me once again was Blackadders and S.A. Sewer Rats for our 7th visit to this trail. As usual we were visiting all caches together and individually stamping every cache.
All we had left was a little stretch of about 80 caches coming back from Bakara to about 8 clicks out of Swan Reach. [:o)][B)] Quite frankly this last section had no tree climbs, no ladders and no pole fishing and was as boring as bat guano. But it is done and as I also completed ALL the jigsaws needed without a online solver, I can finally move on. [B)]
Only one of the three goals from last year achieved. So once again trying and fill my calendar with multi-caches and complete loop 11 again this year. [^] For my third goal I will try and get my DNF numbers from over fifty to single digits. That should keep me busy again this year! [:o)]
***Thanks SAGEO_5 for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

**** Generic Log *****
That time of the week again for a trio of Befuddled Animals. With the Adder and the Rat meeting the Starfish at Sedan to attack the remainder of the OYB series. We have lost count but we think it was our 8th day in this area.
Celebrations all round as finally we have all now completed this series. This last section has been the most tedious and boring A stop at the Swan reach cafe for some hot chips to complement the sandwiches and coffee, perfect timing too as we sat the heavens opened up.
All caches were visited and individually stamped by each of the trio, no group names used. That's how we play. No car jumping with us. Funny though that a group before us had logged finds yet their sticker was not in all the caches.
All but a few caches were in good condition, A few had wet or damp logs that would not take long to dry with the warmer weather approaching. Mainly due to lids not being replaced properly.
Thank you for the cache SAGEO_5, found 25/08/2021, 1:16:00 PM

Out for some fresh air and blue skies escaping the wet and wild weather elsewhere,
with Froghoppin and Sebastbat today - we hopped on our bikes and more!!!
Most of the caches today were in good condition with the odd red jar here and there maybe a bit leaky in the wet Much exercise was had, just hopping in and out of the car!
Thanks to SAGEO_5 for hiding and maintaining this cache on our SA geo map game board

Caches are located and logged using some or all of the resources of GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife), Garmin Montana 750i, Montana 680t, Etrex 35, Samsung S20+, Samsung S9, with Geocaching App, c:Geo, or Geooh Go, and Android Auto and other maps... or often with just plain old dumb luck!
---
Do stay safe when caching.
Lookout for bogs, snakes, random cliffs, wild goats, wombats, bulldust, and lightning,
try not to get tetanus from rusty mint tins... but especially lookout for bugs. [xx(]
Make sure Travel Bugs are the only bugs you share and pass on
We really appreciate all those placing quality caches out and about especially away from the city crowds,
it keeps our game safe, fun, and interesting

A days escape to find a cache or two with Mattycat and Sebastbat, tackling the on your bike series before the weather comes in later in the day, starting at #393 through to #280 as it started to rain. All caches were found in good condition except one which was replaced, a good day out to escape the recent lockdown
