Council worker sitting in van at start of track but after a few mins we just started the walk in here and he wasn't bothered with us. Quick find near these giant trees. Tftc
Great Tree ! Nice quick find & two sides to this cache, one with the log the other with a little bag of 'Mary Jane' if that's your thing after signing in TFTC
Thank you for the nice place, a few steps from my new job. It's always nice to find places like this.
Was in the area for a job interview and contemplating finding these caches beforehand, as I'd left myself plenty of time to drive over in case of traffic. Glad I left these caches until afterwards due to scrambling through foliage.Had no trouble locating this cache. Apparently, some muggles had stumbled onto it as Mary Jane had left a sample and their contact deets if anyone was interested .
Needed to get our adventuring today. None of the family wanted to join so I just got in the car and started following the icons on the map! Last one along this walkwayreally only one place it could be and there it was! Thanks for the cache.
Up in Auckland visiting family for Xmas. A few caches in between the showers of rain. Quick find here.
This Norfolk is so big, I simply overlooked it at first... Great hide. FP from me.
Second find on an evening walk while staying at the JetPark Hotel earlier this year.
Thanks for bringing me here and for adding some smiles to the day.

Another dot day for us and so we came for our first visit to George Cox Reserve. Spotted the specimen we were looking for as we approached the GZ. Found the best way in and quickly spotted the type of cameo we were looking for.
Christmas Eve, the last day of tree sales, and the last solo excursion for December. Today I headed for the area around the airport, reasoning (correctly) that a Sunday would be a good time to cache in this area. Easy to spot my destination as I drove along the street. Parked up and made my way to the Norfolks. TFTC
I had my arm twisted to accompany Net61 and Merlot58 (my story) to do a few caches out South Auckland way. So I played chauffeur to them.
Now it was time for a bit of a walk. This one was close to the parking spot.
Cheers for the cache.

M24: M13 and I got dropped off to quickly get these caches on this reserve.
Starting off here with a really easy nice find.
Nice little container, too. Log all good and signed. TFTC.

Being a lover of trees I was pleased that this one was easy to find and we could take a moment to enjoy the Norfolk
3 June 2022 15:41. First cache of the day - activity curtailed by Jetstar flight being over an hour late leaving Wellington
Collected the hire car and this was nearby, so paused to sign it off before starting on what I am calling my 'unfinished business' (GeoTour completion and DNF avenging) road trip. TFTC. Cache all good.

After returning from Christchurch (and grabbing a cache there in the morning) I wanted to complete the two islands in one day challenge so luckily the parking we used was nearby and I was able to grab this quickly on the way back home. Was fairly easy, just needed to figure out how to easily get to the GZ. Thanks!
With Keylev and B4Dawn being childless this week we were making the most of it. Day 2 of after work caching in a few Auckland areas to do some mop up work.
Keylev and B4Dawn both had early starts so headed for home but I wanted a couple of more to finish the night on s round number of finds.
As this cache was very close to the previous find it seemed rude not to attempt this one as well as it was just down the path.
It was starting to get dark... hunted in a more obviois location to me. However came up with nothing but cuts hands. Reading logs I discovered i needed to head in deeper.
Had cache in hand shortly afterwards.
Spotted more Rabbits while walking down the path. This time I got slightly closer photos.

Had no problems here except I thought it was drug paraphernalia at first glance as this seems to be a busy area for other activities apart from geocaching. Made sure to wash my hands well afterwards but it is am impressive Norfolk and I saw a few when I visited the Island earlier on this year.
“Just one more” was muttered to myself this afternoon so I popped over here after clearing out The Landing and the Airport trail. I had poked around near here pre-publication when I had FTFd the second of the other caches in the area but it was night and I hadn’t ventured far enough into the greenery and got spooked by sounds nearby so left it. I had been proven right that a cache was going to be published though. In the area today I managed a full circumference of the Norfolk before spotting the cache. I had no natural camo so I replaced it with plenty. Thanks for the norfolking chance cache!
#851 had me looking at the wrong Norfolk first, but it soon became apparent where it would be, and the cache was soon in hand. TFTC
Our last '1' day to clear on the calendar (which was not cleared due to lock down last year), I choose to pickup 3 caches near work that seem be in a good place to stop on a detour home.
The GPS would not lock on to the satellites when I switched it on after arriving, but I had a look around and soon figured out where this cache would be, all good here. TFTC.

My cousin dropped me off at the airport two hours earlier than necessary and told me to go and have a nice relaxing coffee. Why would I do that when I could find a few more caches instead? So I checked in my bag and did my usual trick of catching the park and ride bus to save a bit of walking time. This is a nice area around here which I was very close to on Monday when we dropped the rental car off. TFTC # 17,088
In the area collecting caches on a rare day off work. Nice quick find. GOS spot in. TFTC.
Workday lunchtime visit, as I explore new areas around here. Second this lunchtime. A quick lap around, then another more thorough search lap, and found. All good here, signed and replaced. TFTC
Today was a great day to walk around the airport back roads as very little traffic on Easter Sunday. Lots of roads & interesting buildings we havent ever seen before. Nice quick find here on a nice walkway. TFTC
Today I headed off to this part of the city to do a bit of caching after I dropped my son off at his grandmother's place. Quite a few new caches have popped up around here since I was last in Auckland around May last year. Found this one in the second place I checked. Very peaceful round here today. TFTC, Biggles.
I was methodical, but could have started in the place that was left with an obvious 'tell' as to where the cache was hidden. No such luck for the next finder. TFTC.
Parked up only 30m away so a short walk and a nice quick find of this cache, I unfortunately didn't have my TB with me to drop off
Last cache for the day! I have collected a few caches I intended to do and several more I had not intended to do. Having a great day too btw. I was intending to head up Mnt Mangere to get the C.O's lab cache but never quite made it today. Maybe I'll go with Rebel98 and rustynz, see how it goes.
No problem with the cache hide, I recognised the C.O's handiwork straight away! Then had a go at a panorama foto of the 2 big trees. Thanks tramyard for the cache.

Was wondering where to go caching this week....and last night I was thrilled when a bounty of new Auckland caches was rolled out!
Always nice to get them when they are new and in the correct position.
MrsJag went one side of the tree and found the cache....and approached it another way and startled a rabbit which ran out at top speed nearly giving me a heart attack!

MrsJAG met up with Supernannny to collect some newly released caches in the area. This was our last one along the walkway today. Once at gz S/N went one way and MrsJAG the other. MrsJAG heard a loud scream from S/N and thought she must have found a scary cache here, but no she had got a surprise from a feral rabbit. Once S/N had recovered from her fright, we soon had the cache in hand. TFTC
We can't remember a time when this many First to Find opportunities presented themselves in one evening.
We missed the first one in this area but after being the first to an alien encounter in Highbrook we saw this cache had just been published so we headed out to try for two in a row.
We have never been to this walkway before and had no idea it was here so were pleased to be brought somewhere new.
After a bit of scrambling around we located the unexpectedly large and unique container and were very pleased to see we were the first to sign the log.
We were sure there must be more soon to be published along this pathway and sure enough our suspicions were correct when another was published after we had returned home, along with numerous others at locations such as Wattle Downs , the Te Atatu Cycleway and The Landing. So there is much geocaching fun to be had out there tonight.
