Bay, another case of “should have checked previous logs”, but also, glad I didn’t, cos I haven’t really been back to marrickvile since my warehouse party days, and thats a cool village and nice library. Would prefer yellow instead of blue but still a good adventure
Location is indeed very busy during cafe opening hours. Didn’t stay long as wasn’t sure if cache was still there.
Too much people around, but also having read previous logs, we were not quite sure whether the cache still was there to find.
Didn’t find the cache itself but found the paper log just sitting out in the open in a nearby garden. Will contact the owner directly and get this back to them as I don’t know where the cache location is/was.
This was such a fun cache. We came in the evening because we didn’t want too be suspicious. And good thing we did because this cache had us searching for a good 1/2 hour. My gps was not working very well but after searching through the logs we found this cache. Tftc!
Just confirming that the cache is still in place. If you ever need a hint feel free to chuck me a message! Happy caching!!
Well that took some time whilst being muggled out 30mins ago. Returned when that particular spot was clear
In the area with Charlicorn1500, came here for a quick grab after figuring out where it must be. Lucky that spot was not occupied! TFTC.
Second visit armed with a better idea of what and where to look. A few muggles enjoying coffee and books about but none really close enough to take notice of the necessary but safer use of a TOTT.
Logbook replaced
Also for any new guys, please replace the log in the lid part of the container so it doesn’t get stuck inside! Thanks

Best Geo-cache I’ve found so far, very fun and great hide, logbook is full and needs a change
Found with Runner5ive and some muggle friends while visiting Sydney. Here earlier in the day but very much a night cache.

Caching with Aramil and some muggles. Knew where it would be during day but needed to come back. Did but I’m probably a bit drunk. Got it tho. TFTC
Cunning and clever.
Did a recce on the weekend, then pounced in a wet dark night.
Clues in the activity!

Excellent cache! Had actually spotted this one within the first minute of searching but stupidly doubted my caching instincts. It was only after searching every other conceivable place that process of elimination led me back. A few angles confirmed and then it was a matter of timing so I grabbed myself a seat, pen in hand, and waited, and waited, and waited. Eventually a time was safe and cache was snapped up and returned. Cheers
very very sneaky indeed, i was not expecting that sort of camo on this style of container. it took me some time but the area was nice and empty and i could have a thorough look this evening. would definitely discourage looking while the cafe is open. ftf this year hehe

Was there for 90 minutes on NYE. Despite the helpful clues and breakdancers moving for us - no dice . It's the perfect to go looking atm - the cafe only opens from tomorrow. Probably going to keep bugging me since I live 5 minutes walk away and the cafe is my local!

Found it on 11 January 2021!! Definitely required a bit of poking/prodding and worrying that your fingers might find something icky. But need not have worried. Was definitely in a safe hidely hole that is very small. Should have relied on the GPS better!
First GC so didn't quite know what to look for, but good to know wasn't the only one needing help!

thanks so much. needed a hint but it turned out we were looking in the right area all along. cheers eddie. great cache and spot. had to wait until the breakdancers left.
Great hide! Coords jumped around a lot but eventually led back to first place I went which sort of fit the hint. Ignored at first as thought something yucky but tried it and bingo!
Took a while, lots of cheeky holes looked in…and then we read the previous logs and got a couple of clues. It’s so cool! Great hide.
After our something like 4th try we found it! We’re convinced that it was in somewhere just couldn’t find the right one.
Found after work on my way home.
It was fairly windy when i reached the GZ and luckily there was only one person around who was focused on practicing break dancing.
I was searched around for a while before having an idea.
I located the cache in its cool spot. For a very public place it is a great but simple hide.
Thanks.

Came by here a few weeks ago, but it was too busy so we didn't give it much of a search. Today, with the cafe being open for take away only, it was pretty quiet. We started our search and a few minutes later I spotted something that wasn't quite right. Ahha! Sneaky little cache! Thanks!!
Using the cloak of rain today to grab this one. Almost glad for the dreary weather as it cleared the whole area for me to search unwatched. Adding a FP for an imaginative hide in an area that is lovely to visit on a rainy day, or even a nice sunny day. It had me scratching my head for a while but I did end up on the right level straight away. Zero muggles around, rainy and windy on and off all day today so it’s a good opportunity to do a bit of a route around the city picking off solves mysteries and incidental close other caches.
Oops looks looks like IOU a FP. Will check back in when I earn some more.
After enjoying a delicious dinner in the city with Mizcupcake, we had a look at our map and headed over to gz for a stroll before leaving. I went to the right level and MC soon joined after clearing another section. Both of us staring at the same area for sometime before MC’s good eyes spotted this tricky cache. I guess it didn’t help that it’s night time, but no muggles to worry about. CIH we both signed the log and replaced. TFTC!

New month and tonight I'm heading for the Swans v Cats game at the SCG. Not sure how we got the win - at times they did all they could to throw it away.
But I'll take it!
First, I stopped here for a find.
Arrived on closing time but still plenty of muggles about.
The brain took a while to get into gear, but suddenly a thought hit me. Started checking that. Nope, nope... Relocated slightly and then I spotted it. Oh, that is evil! And clever...
Made the grab unnoticed and completed signing duties. Then replaced and away. Time for another cache, methinks.
Gets a favourite for the very sneaky placement.

Yay, how much time drinking coffee, eating, loitering waiting for muggles to leave this table. Anxiety levels through the roof thinking I may have to return to NZ with a DNF. Finally, table was vacated and we swarmed, skulked actually, and began our nonchalant, slightly desperate scavenge. The relief was palpable spying it where we thought it might be. Yay.
Had the opportunity to cycle home tonight so took advantage and collected a couple of locations from an unfinished AL and also picked up this trad at one of those locations. After reading a few logs I had an idea but nothing really clicked until I arrived at the GZ, came to together then which made for a nice quick find. Very clever, took much longer to get the log out without TOTT. Thanks for placing this cache T&C #1159
Nice sneaky hide, lots of people around but no one paid much attention to us TFTC
Tricky at first but once we were in the right spot we soon had it in our hands. Tftc
Tftc. Came just before lunch and way too many people, even in the rain. We came back after our family lunch and found it after a few minutes. Top hide.
Tftc! A top cache. Excellent hide! Great coffee. We were a bit rushed for time today, but we managed to find it. TealM’s eagle eye spotted it, but an innate fear of spiders prevented her pushing it out. the rain kept the muggles today.
tatkatandchloe I found your cache Book-flavoured coffee on 13/3/21, 12:55 pm. This is my find 2970 and find # 1 today. From GZ and the hint, I was certain where to look. No muggles at this particular table and it wasn’t long before I had CIH. Very sneaky. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN

Today was the first time ever I visited Newtown and Marrickville.
After having a nice Vietnamese lunch in one of the many restaurant we walked back to the car. It turned out I parked it right in front of the library where this cache was hidden.
A bit tricky to find, but with a little help from a fellow geocacher this one turned into a smiley on my map.

I headed south-west from home for a few new caches this morning. With two finds already I came here next. I've never been to Marrickville before so it was quite interesting driving round.
Once I arrived near GZ probably everything I did there was barely legal.
Not knowing the area I'd checked google maps at home and saw a nice park with a parking lot I could use so I went in there. Well that turned out to be the grounds of a Catholic school but heck I was in there and there didn't seem to be anyone around so I left the geomobile in the shade and walked across towards GZ.
I walked around and watched the GPS and decided the cache had to be there. Hmm, there were 2 muggles right there. From a different angle I looked and decided the cache might just be there, so before I went there I used PAF who confirmed my suspicions.
Right, I hadn't come all this way not to try for it so I walked right up, said "hello, I'm geocaching" and went about my thing. The muggles looked at me like I was crazy - maybe it was the mask, maybe I should have started coughing, anyway they got up and left. So then I spotted a cop buying coffee and sort of heading my way. Too bad, I just went about my business and quickly had CIH, that initial idea had been correct!
Signed the log and replaced the cache. The cop was still there and I noticed he was parked in a No Stopping zone - hello, hello, hello!!!
Back to my geomobile where once I got on the road I had to do a U-turn where maybe you weren't supposed to or maybe it was just allowable, to go in the direction I wanted.
So another morning of devious caching adventures.

I needed a phone-a-friend to help me with the sneaky hide. Very ingenious.

It took a paf to realise that I was at the wrong level, once I arrived there my paf told me where to poke about, thanks

I really like this development and the apartments next door are week done too.
Thankfully, the wet weather kept muggles to a minimum today and I was able to get my hands on this sneakily hidden cache.

OCW the Bebes. A quick park and grab. A few muggles about but managed to locate quickly and sign without being noticed. Tftc
Joint [FTF] with EverestHigh, Brewmaker and KJN_levi. I enjoyed this evening find which offered an FTF and the chance to meet new cachers. The cache was concealed in a sneaky spot, first noticed by EverestHigh. TFTC tatkatandchloe!
Got CIH at 8.20 pm. Cleverly hidden. Sharing {FTF} with MaxAdventurer, Brewmaker (who had a DNF on the day it was published), and KJNLevi (a family who arrived before us and had been thoroughly searching the area near GZ). TFTC tatkatandchloe
A joint [FTF] with KJN_levi, EverestHigh and MaxAdventurer to redeem my DNF from yesterday in the rain. Thanks for updating the coords. Perfect now and a very, very sneaky hide that had us all fooled for awhile. After a big day out at the Community Celebration Event in Lane Cove NP, I headed over with EH and MA, once we saw it had been enabled again. Arrived to see a small group searching in the dark. After sometime we had CIH. Lucky at this time of the day there are no muggles about, just heaps of cachers. Congratulations on your first hide. Have a FP. TFTC

DNF. Too many muggles. Too many cars. Traffic galore and I couldn't see anything that might match the hint. During school pick-up is not a good time.
