While camping at Emerald Beach for a few days with my geodog Scruffy , We had to get out and look for a few caches ...All Good .. TFTC ..

TftcI set out to do more of this trail. After recent weather, some of the edges were a bit soft. And patches of mud towards the caches. Though today's weather was sunny. It was all going well until a flat tire finished the day. Love all the ones that were found today. Most logs were quick to find. Most were still safe and dry. Find #12Took the option of parking downhill and then walking up to get this one. Another creative tupperware mushroom.

tftc, Despite the temp of 36 degrees, Made a start on this series today. As we only have a few days we will focus on those closest to our camp at Glenreagh rec reserve.

It would be ever so nice to build a treehouse in one of these tall trees. Watch the occasional car below zoom by. Eating tree grub like leaves and stuff. Beautiful life the life of a tree dweller

First crack at the Shroom trail, heaps of cute and clever designs, really appreciate the time and effort to set this power trail up.

We set out from Woolgoolga up into the hills today with the Magic Mushroom and WoopiBucca trails in our sites. The roads were good despite all the recent rain and we enjoyed the forest drive.
There were quite a variety of hides, in both size and design. Many of the Magic Mushroom caches had lots of time put into the containers which was both entertaining and appreciated. Quite a number of logs were wet as you would expect with all the rain but others were pristine. It never ceases to surprise us how some containers work well while others don't. The country was at times tough, particularly where the lantana is taking hold
We awarded quite a number of favourites on the Mushroom trail and probably should have given more, but we were on a mission.
Our thanks to the CO/s for a great effort to establish a trail with a difference.

Another on the magical trail. The least space for parking at GZ that we’ve experienced so far but a car passed us with no problems. Cache found and log signed and we were off on our way. Loving the drive.

We knew it was going to be there. It was wet, dark and mulchy enough to be a fungiculture but it only had one, the one we wanted. And now on to the ten part version of #53. TFTC earthly65.

the edges of the road were a bit soft here and the steepness of the terrain had me changing parking spots before I found the cache. tftc

Day 2
The remainder of the much awaited mushroom trails were finaly published. Arrangements were made with pprass that we would make a camping trip out of it & we camped at Glenreagh for a few days.
This would give us time to find & appreciate the many varities of mushrooms hidden.
The weather was perfect for geocaching. The roads in the forest in some sections were being graded at the time. Good for a car maybe not on a bike.
What a huge job to make & maintain this trail, & like normal mushrooms they just continued to grow & evrybody wanted to get in on the action.

Today we set out on a mission to find as many magic mushrooms as possible, the weather was perfect and we managed to find 55 with no DNF's.
Great to see such a large variety of creative and unique designs.
