Day 2 on the hunt for Magic Mushrooms with StealthSeeker. Now that's a shroom!!
It is a lot easier to spot the huge tallowood than the small tree next to the big tree. A few caches back, thanks for the trail and the hints.
TftcToday, I hit the Mushie Trail. I found more than I had originally intended to find. If my phone hadn't gone completely flat, I may have tried the last 14 on this road. It was probably a good thing it did as I think I may have pushed it a bit by the end of the day due to the heat and health. The hints made easy quick finds.Another majestic tree hiding a great mushie42 of 45
While camping at Emerald Beach for a few days with my geodog Scruffy , We had to get out and look for a few caches ...All Good .. TFTC ..
On the hunting trail with Liz and Bruce on a 2024 New Years adventure. A quick find here. Its a great day for caching. TFTC earthly65
Thanks earthly65 for arranging this cache which has enhanced our enjoyment of the area. Fav point alloc
Found a nice big mushroom . Just as I put my hand on it to grab the cache, a snake quickly slithered away.TFTC
tftc, Despite the temp of 36 degrees, Made a start on this series today. As we only have a few days we will focus on those closest to our camp at Glenreagh rec reserve.
Just about to give up when spotted a likely spot although 12m from coords and bingo there it was! Tftc
We throughly enjoyed doing this series. You have gone to so much trouble in creating such a wonderful variety of themed caches and thus making geocaching such an enjoyable activity. TFTC. What a magnificent tree!
I obviously don’t know my trees! Visited the wrong one at first. Had to take some touro pics from the side of the road as the traffic was quite high this Saturday. Now I did find the log to sign unlike the last of this type, clever. When I touched this one it just seemed to sink as if it were in quicksand. It was quite unusual!

took a little longer to find but this is very cool, mushrooms and potatoes are the same if yoi think about it for 13 hours
We’re looking behind the wrong tree for a bit. Got it in the end though. Lovely flowing water down there.
First crack at the Shroom trail, heaps of cute and clever designs, really appreciate the time and effort to set this power trail up.
Went the long way but managed to find the right tree

We set out from Woolgoolga up into the hills today with the Magic Mushroom and WoopiBucca trails in our sites. The roads were good despite all the recent rain and we enjoyed the forest drive.
There were quite a variety of hides, in both size and design. Many of the Magic Mushroom caches had lots of time put into the containers which was both entertaining and appreciated. Quite a number of logs were wet as you would expect with all the rain but others were pristine. It never ceases to surprise us how some containers work well while others don't. The country was at times tough, particularly where the lantana is taking hold
We awarded quite a number of favourites on the Mushroom trail and probably should have given more, but we were on a mission.
Our thanks to the CO/s for a great effort to establish a trail with a difference.
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache earthly65.

We're in town for a long weekend, and with Mother's Day festivities tomorrow, were given a free day to explore more widely today, so we decided on a drive along the Magic Mushrooms.
We managed 48 out of 49 searches in cool conditions, with some occasional spits of rain. We had no difficulty in our Forester, but some areas at present would prove difficult for a 2WD for sure.
Caches along our route we haven't logged had difficult parking, so we left for another trip.
We enjoyed the variety of hides, good coordinates and great hints - thanks to all involved fo your efforts!
Another wet photo-log.....

Day 2
The remainder of the much awaited mushroom trails were finaly published. Arrangements were made with pprass that we would make a camping trip out of it & we camped at Glenreagh for a few days.
This would give us time to find & appreciate the many varities of mushrooms hidden.
The weather was perfect for geocaching. The roads in the forest in some sections were being graded at the time. Good for a car maybe not on a bike.
What a huge job to make & maintain this trail, & like normal mushrooms they just continued to grow & evrybody wanted to get in on the action.
Thankyou earthly65 for placing this cache.
