Day 1 on the hunt for Magic Mushrooms with StealthSeeker.SS located this one.Our 50th for the day
While camping at Emerald Beach for a few days with my geodog Scruffy , We had to get out and look for a few caches ...All Good .. TFTC ..
TftcI set out to do more of this trail. After recent weather, some of the edges were a bit soft. And patches of mud towards the caches. Though today's weather was sunny. It was all going well until a flat tire finished the day. Love all the ones that were found today. Most logs were quick to find. Most were still safe and dry. Find #9Who would have thought good old tupperware could be creatively turned into mushrooms.
On the hunting trail with Liz and Bruce on a 2024 New Years adventure. A quick find here. Its a great day for caching. TFTC earthly65
Thanks earthly65 for arranging this cache which has enhanced our enjoyment of the area. Fav point alloc
tftc, Despite the temp of 36 degrees, Made a start on this series today. As we only have a few days we will focus on those closest to our camp at Glenreagh rec reserve.

On this nice 25 degree Saturday afternoon in the middle of winter, me and the boys decided to jump in the outback and head out bush to find some caches along the mushroom trail. We stopped here for some. Smoke and a bit of a. Rest after much success so far. Good day for it
Picking up a few caches with Anne of Green Gables 2. Spotted the lid as we approached..

An unexpected trip to northern NSW allowed me time to grab a few caches along the way. Opted to have a day dedicated just for caching on my way home so I took to the P/T’s around Coffs. Thanks to the CO’s for your hides.

We set out from Woolgoolga up into the hills today with the Magic Mushroom and WoopiBucca trails in our sites. The roads were good despite all the recent rain and we enjoyed the forest drive.
There were quite a variety of hides, in both size and design. Many of the Magic Mushroom caches had lots of time put into the containers which was both entertaining and appreciated. Quite a number of logs were wet as you would expect with all the rain but others were pristine. It never ceases to surprise us how some containers work well while others don't. The country was at times tough, particularly where the lantana is taking hold
We awarded quite a number of favourites on the Mushroom trail and probably should have given more, but we were on a mission.
Our thanks to the CO/s for a great effort to establish a trail with a difference.
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache earthly65.

We're in town for a long weekend, and with Mother's Day festivities tomorrow, were given a free day to explore more widely today, so we decided on a drive along the Magic Mushrooms.
We managed 48 out of 49 searches in cool conditions, with some occasional spits of rain. We had no difficulty in our Forester, but some areas at present would prove difficult for a 2WD for sure.
Caches along our route we haven't logged had difficult parking, so we left for another trip.
We enjoyed the variety of hides, good coordinates and great hints - thanks to all involved fo your efforts!
Another nice, dry double container.....

Found fairly quickly by MrG who left his role as driver, navigator and hint relayer to join the mushy hunt. Thanks for the hide Grimm Reaper and earthly65.
Geocaching on this lovely spring day with Wandering Me and Magpie Cottage. A glorious assortment of Magic Mushrooms. Great trail...

Thats an interesting piece of natural bush art. The cache was far enough off the side of the road that the geodog got out for a wander while I found the container. As usual he spent most of the time finding grass patches to eat. It was a pleasant area to hang out in for a while.
The remainder of the much awaited mushroom trails were finaly published. Arrangements were made with pprass that we would make a camping trip out of it & we camped at Glenreagh for a few days.
This would give us time to find & appreciate the many varities of mushrooms hidden.
The weather was perfect for geocaching. The roads in the forest in some sections were being graded at the time. Good for a car maybe not on a bike.
What a huge job to make & maintain this trail, & like normal mushrooms they just continued to grow & evrybody wanted to get in on the action.
Thankyou earthly65 for placing this cache.

Found at 9:49 AM GAFF1 in the company of DiMorgan.
Did GR actually come forward with a personalised cache? I thought he had gone to ground as he is not maintaining any of his caches!
This took a bit of time to locate as we went around in circles for some reason - even superficially searching the location of where the cache was hidden very early in the search
Thanks earthly65

Today we set out on a mission to find as many magic mushrooms as possible, the weather was perfect and we managed to find 55 with no DNF's.
Great to see such a large variety of creative and unique designs.
Thanks to all the contributors and thanks to earthly65 for hiding all the caches.
