Time to tidy up a few caches in and around Rangiora and put some more smiley faces on the map.
An obvious place to hide it, but nevertheless clever and well hidden...... Cheers!

#20862. We had an enjoyable wee walk across the park, and I quickly spotted the cache (took a little while to work it out of its snug location). TFTC.
The first of three finds after lunch in Rangiora.
It was a beautiful day, but decided to walk as much as possible on the path rather than the grass as it looked as though it could be damp. It wasn't but it mean that StreetWalkerNZ, who took the direct route, was a GZ first and had found the cache by the time I reached him.
All I needed to do was sign the log book . TFTC.

This was an incredibly "snug" fit and needed a TOTT to extricate. We managed and have not put it back so tightly. TFTC and the test of finger endurance until they gave up!!
The cache is very snug in it’s hiding place and we needed tools to retrieve
Couldnt make this afternoons 2.22pm 22.02.2022 Event at the botanic gardens due to work....so came out this evening to find a couple caches to mark the occasion. Not hanging around untill 10.22pm (24hr = 2222) so 8.22pm is where Im at.. or, 24hr, 2022 22.02.2022.
Still a hot and blustery evening. Park to myself. A wee search and the clever wee cache was in hand. Thanks.

I checked one spot first but there was nowhere to hide a cache there. I then turned around and saw a much better place.
Having seen many caches placed there before I assumed it'd be easily spotted. Nope. An easy find, but not without looking. Not often I give such a familiar hide a favourite point, but this was nicely done.

Nice snug hiding place. A couple of women phptographers were in the park but only interested in shooting the blossoms so the find was easy. Many thanks.

I went with Rufuss1 to Rangiora. This required team work and determination. Thank you ClanTalent for this cache.

8425. Out in Rangiora this afternoon to check up on some our own geocaches. It seemed a bit of a waste to not find some as well so found seven, This was the sixth one. Another nice easy find but very securely in place! Thanks. Rodney and Iris.
After arriving back from Lyttleton and having some lunch, I shot out to grab a solved puzzle... I couldn't find it so refreshed c:geo and saw that it was archived..... should have got it last time I was down! nevermind, I also saw this sitting in the same park, so I made the short walk across.
Thanks for the placement and the history lesson on the page
TFTC ClanTalent, the cache was found in good order Signed, sealed and returned to GZ. 5 find(s) of 6 today, making this find #2661

Nice little park and story of the area. Lucky the kids have little fingers to retrieve it! TFTG.
A nice quick find in a deserted park. Luckily I had my walking pole with me as it has a pointy end. This definitely helped with the retrieval! TFTC.
Out with monsonclan filling in a dot day. Took a couple of tries before we found it. Tftc
Overthought it for a bit but soon had spotted it. Nice quiet area with no onlookers
Certainly not on private property. The lads were all playing cricket and took no notice of us. Found the extraction not that difficult. Thank you. A really pleasant little park.
A nice quick find thanks. Favourite point for the well hidden cache. Cheers
Ms_KR and I had a weekend away up to Kaikoura. A lovey day, but a wee bit windy!
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Hope my high-vis cycling attire didn't attract the attention of the nearby neighbours (with big glass windows) overlooking the park as I wandered around at GZ looking for the cache. Tricky little hide. TFTC ClanTalent.
Was out walking the dog and this one popped up as a forgotten log. Great history and informative and a clever little hide. Thanks for the effort that goes into placing and maintaining a cache.
A nice easy find on a quiet morning. We were amazed at the amount of fruit on the trees. A clever hide. TFTC
A clever wee hide in a lovely spot. We just had to avoid a muggle dog walker to get to this one. TFTH and the history.
We felt very conspicuous here as Jessie our White Westie stands out a bit more than us..Muggles were walking back n forth through this Park, and we had to wait a few moments to retrieve it..
We might have to get her a Camouflage Suit..TFTC

Lovely mild morning for a walk! I noticed the publication, realised how close it was, and given that I was already awake, I went to enjoy the quietness while most people are still asleep. Very pleasant temperature, stillness, and the smell of the morning! Once in the park, locating gz was not too difficult, but removing the container took a bit of wiggling. Got there eventually to find a blank logbook, yay! FTF @4.17am. TFTC!!!
