Thanks for the history lesson 63ROOS, Camped at the rear of the Spring Bay Hotel, the regular place being closed, I had an opportunity to walk about town. It's a cool Morning so I wandered to the visitors centre to collect the required info. Finding none I returned to the town centre but still no joy. Turns out my phone was smarter than me, the info was in my hand.So I got to see the town twice.Regards from Victourer
Solved this one last night and collected today on a glum day in Triabunna. TFTC
Came to check out the ferry terminal for our trip to Maria Island tomorrow. A nice easy find after reading the hint. Thanks 63ROOS for the history lesson and the cache.
An early start for the day as Im planning on making a bit of a dent in the TTSS series, but first to grab this nearby cache after learning about this beautiful town.TFTC 63ROOSKeep smiling
Solved the coordinates before the trip and found easily today. Tftc and puzzle and greetings from Cairns
Found today while out caching with Zozetta. We began the day with a find just out of Sorell, and then drove up to Buckland to turn a blue frown yellow. That done, we continued on to Orford where I found the caches in the ‘Magic Beach’ series that I was yet to find and Zozetta, who hadn’t found any them, found them all. We then continued along Rheban Road for a little while to get a cache there that we hadn’t got yet, and then crossed over to the other side of the Prosser river to get caches in Orford, Louisville and Double Creek. We then went a bit further up the road to Triabunna to find the caches there, and then we made our way back towards Sorell, finding one more cache at Double Creek, a cache between Buckland and Runnymede, and then we finished off the days caching with another find near Sorell. In total we had eighteen finds and no DNFs.
I solved this puzzle a while ago, and today we had a quick find.
Thanks for the puzzle and cache 63ROOS!

It was time for a return trip to Tassie to explore the southern part of the state. I paired up with OzHockeyChick for a 5 day caching blitz with some sightseeing in between. Today was Day 4 and we headed north east from Port Arthur to Orford and Triabunna via the TTSS trail with the sun shining all the way.
As we were heading back to our accommodation in Orford we stopped to get just one more. Nice quick find.
Thanks 63ROOS for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy.

Thank you 63ROOS for the enforced history lesson required to ascertain the correct coordinates. Having achieved this some months ago today was the day allocated to make the find. Once at GZ a quick find was made.
Triabunna was our caching hot spot this morning. We enjoyed your History multi for which we had obtained the necessary numbers quite some time ago. Thankyou for all your history caches 63ROOS.
Mr Beetle had this one solved before we headed off early this morning to tackle the snake series. We randomly chose a few caches to break the journey on the way and this was one of them. Have driven past this venue a few times before but today we had a reason to stop. Thanks 63ROOS and it was great to finally meet you at the event yesterday.
After packing up from a few days in Hobart now off to Swansea. Visited a winery on our way North. Solved then a quick find by Wazza9, stamped log and replaced. Thanks to 63ROOS took pathtag.
Out n about with m4yb grabbing a few caches.
She solved this while we enjoyed a nice coffee.

Megawat60 and I are on the tail end of The Tassie Tour and headed south. Happy to make the find here, nice place. TFTC!
?? Our last full day of caching for us 11 Kiwi's from New Zealand. I have had an immense amount of fun finding caches here in Tasmania, all the C.O's I have dealt with have been awesome and very helpful. Been great company for a week in the car with my caching buddies Pagenz (our tour director) and G-2 (prolific cache placer in NZ and our driver). Now we're gradually heading back to Hobart to fly home tomorrow. Not sure where the other members of our team are though, but we will meet up tonight back at Hadley's hotel in Hobart before we fly out tomorrow.?? Now we have done this puzzle, we have to go south, get on with the snake series, thanks for the puzzle.
Another find in this series as we wandered about Tasmania trying to find our way North and South. t4tc
I’m in Tasmania on a geocaching tour for a week some some other keen New Zealander geocachers. We started in Hobart, travelled up to Launceston, and today we are making our way back down to Hobart, heading across the island and towards the east coast. I’m travelling today with Net61 and Supernanny.
We stopped in Triabunna to do an Adventure Lab. I’d solved quite a few puzzles in New Zealand, not sure which ones I would be able to find, so it was good to come to this town. The cache was a nice easy find.
Thanks for the puzzle and the cache

Waiting to board the ferry for a few days of hiking on Maria Island. A quick cuppa, research done, we found this after a little wander TFTC
Another beautiful day in Tassie as we lead up to a very quiet Christmas. This was a quick stop at a well maintained location.
Thank you for the interesting cache information.

Mrs Bear had solved the puzzle at home and was keen to find the cache. She followed the hint and started to move stones around when Mr Bear arrived and pointed to an object lying in the open about one metre away. Yes, it was the cache. Luckily it was complete, logbook and all. We signed and put it back in the right spot.

Found this cache while on holidays traveling around Tasmania.
We'd solved this one a while ago knowing we would be passing by eventually.
On arrival the local school grounds keeper was doing a bit of work in here.
He liked a chat so we found out a bit from him about the local area as well.
Once he'd completed his job we had the place to ourselves and found the cache soon after.

Found with catnap777 on our Geocaching holiday toTassie doing what we love doing most. [:X]
A quick Google search had us at GZ pretty quickly and another little treasure was soon ours.
After being chased South a little early by the weather, catnap777 and I just set up camp down there for a little while longer which suited us just fine. We had a lot of geocaching business down Hobart way, and as far south as you can go, but now that much of the water up north had subsided, it was time to head back up there via the East Coast on our way back to Devonport.
TFTC Thanks Kayleene.
Every cache we visited in Tassie added to the joys of our holiday adventure finding caches in every county on the main Island during our 10 day visit. [^]

Puzzle solved, cache found and log signed with dalerious .
We enjoyed your Mysteries so thank you 63ROOS. It was so nice meeting you at the CITO and I can't wait to cross paths with you again.
We had this trip to Tasmania on our wish list very soon after we met. The meticulous planning began a few months ago when we finally set a date to sail to a place that I had been before, but never cached, and for dalerious, a place he cached, but never really got to see the real beauty of this place, and all it's glory. God's country about sums it up.
We started our adventure in the North West and traversed the entire Island in 10 days. We thought the weather was going to thwart our plans, but all it did was change the itinerary a tad.
Where back home was flooding, we had mostly sunshine here; apart from the North of your lovely state, and our thoughts were with those who were affected both here and at home.
Caches here took us to extraordinary places; one's we will never forget.
We also got to meet some cachers; we can't wait to meet the rest .

Tftc 63roos! Just starting to get into the puzzle caches and your history caches are a great place to start (and learn about places we visit!)
Today we found History of Triabunna on our travels. We are on another visit from Melbourne just because…well, maybe it’s all those puzzles we solved during those many lockdowns! Having the opportunity to sign some actual logs is exciting!
Thanks 63ROOS for being part of our geocaching fun.

In Triabunna today, going to tackle some of the snake letterbox run. Worked this one out a few weeks ago, quick find. Thanks to 63ROOS for the cache.
Thanks for the interesting fact finding mission and a nice neat cache area with more history. I looked doing this one 63ROOS
On a road trip from Hobart to Stanley with my mum over 2 weeks. We visited a number of towns and we were mainly targeting Virtuals and Earthcaches due to the amazing locations they take one to. We did pick up the random traditional, multi, puzzle, wherigo and even a couple letterbox caches whilst travelling.
After a nice sleep in Port Arthur, we had finished out planned 4wd Buggy Tour and now we were making our way to Triabunna for tonights accommodation. We collected some caches along the way, including some of the TTSS caches, but only a couple.
Thanks for placing and mainting this geocache 63ROOS

This is funny, I did a walk around town before I solved the puzzle... and now I am back at where I started. It’s around sunset now, a totally different feel that earlier today. Thanks for the cache - really enjoyed it!
We completed the research and got the confirmed coordinates very soon after publication. However it wasn't until today that we had an opportunity to visit Triabunna. Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find of a well hidden cache. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks 63ROOS for the puzzle and cache.
Today we went for a drive to find 4 caches in the area. We had solved this when it first came out so nice to get the smiley. Thanks for all the history caches you placed in 2021. Best wishes for a Happy New Year. TFTP
Thanks for the history lesson on Triabunna, great steaks at the local butcher and the best Fish and Chips at The Fish Van, enjoyed our stay in the area, TFTC 63ROOS
The ghost whisperer of our group wanted to walk on water and collect the cache Dead Island. Admittedly the tide was out but there was minor flooding of the channel, it was cold and she was going to go barefoot. Manage to distract her with the promise of a white wine and tell her she was out voted 2 to 1.
Another interesting 'History of . . .' puzzle for our education. Fittingly we were staying her in Triabunna for the evening. TFTC 63ROOS.

Down in the Apple Isle with JACS and TeamARF for a week or so to hunt some caches and traipse about having adventures. With inclement weather approaching we utilised today to grab some along dirt roads. Managed to find a few of differing varieties! A fun day despite the rainy patches! Fab puzzles and wonderful countryside. Awesome caches all round! We are thoroughly enjoying this adventure and grabbing some very well maintained oldies Tftc
Phew - big day caching but we are home for the day and our last cache in this area for collection. Home for a rest before planning our next day which is someone north and to the west!
Solved the puzzle earlier today. Found the final after a day trip to Maria Is. TFTC . TNLNSL. All is well here today.
Had worked this one out when it first came out and probably been past it a few times but today we had time to stop and put our name in the log book. Found with Omaster and AINSTAR.

Came up to the east coast today to spend a bit of money in the local businesses, as they must be finding the closure of the road devastating. Worked out the coords for this one while I was eating my fish and chips at Triabunna. A quick find. Thanks 63Roos.
The third of your new caches in this area today thanks 63ROOS, lovely spot to stop with upgraded conveniences nearby GZ naturally is all good. Mrs PC, Miss L and Miss A went for a drive today to taste Triabunna's Fish and Chips and went to the School playground for a spot of playing
We had come to Triabunna for a late lunch for me anyway and we aclled to collect this one first, but as it turned out the goose who had the finals was a provo member again so we just had to find it with any, myself and toolman added all our names to the log while goose battled with the joke that is the GC website and App.
Thanks for another nice cache.
Another busy weekend, this time with the toolman visiting from the big island, he was down for the weekend and to go to Agfest, catch up and find a few caches. Well we managed to do all that and we had a great time.

We set off early this morning to collect these new caches in Orford/Triabunna. We had been keeping an eye on them all week to see if the FTF was claimed.
Having checked the BOM website and listening to radio forecast they promised the rain would ease (they lied) However this might of assisted deterring others from venturing this way.
Thanks for placing these new caches 63ROOS.
