No phone coverage here but fortunately I had read and remembered location and hint. Cool spot tftc.
TheLandGirl and I are down from Auckland to complete the Queen Charlotte track over 4 days. Day two was a 12km hike from Furneaux Lodge to Punga Cove and the weather was stunning for the day, although quite chilly in Punga Cove. A nice quick find at this interesting old feature. TFTC!
Had my helpful hubbie with me. So cross with myself for leaving my writing device at home. Great hiding please and container.
Missed looking for the one on bridge but got this one and quickly.Tftc, good condition, greetings from Oz

Saw a photo of the GZ item being used in it’s hay day so it was awesome, if a little sad, to see it still… I think it might be beyond the restoration state. Thanks to the hint the cache was quickly located, TFTC!
Today we had a wonderdul day on the Queen Charlotte Trail. Some caches were hidden on our way.
This one was found rather quickly.
Thank you very much for the cache says fabmike from Erlangen, Germany.

I remember staying near here many years ago, not much has changed it seems. Cheers
Found 27/12/2022. 2nd cache find for day 2 of the mighty QCT. What a great cache location! Sent a pic to some fellow caching friends who love a unique cache hide.
All good here on day2 of my walk having these geos helps to break up the day. And add some much needed fun.
Quick find after a suggestion of where to look by my muggle walking companions. Tftc
This is my last section of the South Island TA (NOBO from Bluff). I started on Jan11th and its almost finished. I am very spoilt too - that I'm finishing on this lovely track (feels like a footpath compared to what Ive experienced).
There was a 4WD buggy sitting nearby so I had to make a quick inconspicuous grab. Managed it just - with a wee wave of the camera around the area.

This one was a super fast find. Beautiful slightly crisp morning. The neighbours had just shot a deer and were hanging it in the shed next door
Found by hubby on a family hikoi between Furneaux and Punga Cove today. Very wet underfoot on the track with lots of puddles, and also drizzling, expected to get more rain today, so we are on a mission to get to Punga Cove. A favourite given as this is a {FTF}. Thanks for placing this cache here.
