Yesterday was a huge last day for the GCLOGAN Event with the 'Grand Muster' !!!So today was a restful day and we took up the offer from GEM_54 to bechauffeured around Logan Village to find their locally placed caches...Some park and grabs, short walks and tree fishing were all includedwith a great variety of placements and cache containersTFTC's and the great day out GEM_54, picked up this cache along the way, TFTC peasoup62
Teamed up with Snickersallan, Granny Smith 1947 and chamad on the hunt for the Multis Jigsaws, Wherigos and whatever took our fancy whilst out on our travels within the Logan shire. What a fantastic selection of caches and containers on offer for GC LOGAN event. It was great to be with my usual buddies, delightful to meet up with new ones and strengthening our ties. Thanks so much to GC Logan team for arranging events and placing caches for our enjoyment.
We have been attending all of the GCLogan activities and events; enjoying the events and caching activities, I teamed up with Bluewattle, Grannysmith and Snickersallan as we worked our way around the areas collecting the new caches, and even some older ones. We managed to attend most events, a few citos and some meal events. It was great to see the many different faces turning up to the different events. Today we are heading to a few caches and a couple of the events. Our team was happy to grab a whereigo or a UGO as they are known down this way. I am glad we got to do these as a group, we always seem to run into issues like the phone dying or the app dies off so there is safety in numbers. We then started a few multi caches as well. Between events and cache runs we also stopped at a few to clean out an area or stopped at for a particular reason. This was one of those that we did on the way and early this morning, we signed the log and replaced as found. Thanks for placing.
An early start in Logan Village area today, before the event in Jimboomba. So a bit of time available to search for some other caches in the area.A nice quick find here in the hint location. TFTC

Out with Selva Girls ... today we headed off to Logan Village to find some caches and this was one of them. We signed the log and replaced as found. Thanks for the cache,
Out for a day of caching with CuriousQuest. This cache was quickly located and the log signed. With everything returned as found, we continued on our way. TFTC
This looks like the perfect hill for rolling down but, as Im no longer a child, I thought it best just to walk down to prevent injury. At GZ, The Marble and I took opposite directions to access it and she spotted the cache in a position that was completely hidden from me. Thanks peasoup62
Had to wait until a large grey kangaroo had finished feeding before I could search. Had no luck,
I made my way to GZ and went around in circles for awhile and then read a few logs before i found the hide. Yes the hint makes sense. Thanks for all the fun
A search of the GZ meant lots of possible spots to put the cache. Focused on the size and the clue. Gunnie69 found it nicely hidden under natural cover. Tftc
A few options at GZ when NurseyJulie and I arrived, but a brief search revealed a nicely concealed container where the log was extracted and our names added. All nice and quiet in the area today, I guess the beauty of the heat is that it keep a lot of muggles inside for the day... Cheers peasoup62.
We searched for about 20 minutes with no luck at all. We did see a few deer and a kangaroo on our way.
I found this one back in January & came out with pominaus today. It was nowhere to be found. It looks as though kids may have been vaping near by and may have disturbed it.
This one is missing its protective camouflage and was pretty easy to spot from some distance away. Tried to place it back so that it was hidden from plain view. TFTC
So many entry points to GZ but managed to get lucky and pick the one that allowed me to spot the cache within seconds.
Could’ve been looking for a while if luck had not been on my side. Cool rock.
TFTC!

Came to the area to pick up a FB Marketplace purchase. Had to stop and grab the local cache while I was here. Nice quick find. TFTC!
It's been awhile since I ventured to this part of town but its good to see some new caches out here.
I love a cache that's challenging but I also love one's where you can pull up, head to GZ with spot on coords, find cache, signed and back in the car without fuss.
Thanks peasoup

With a contractor letting me down this morning I had the day free. I threw the bike on the car and headed to Logan Village to ride the "new" rail trail.
With the trail completed I only had two little green dots left on my map. A quick shortcut through suburbia to this one.

had to fix cache ,because it was left appart on the ground ,by a recent looker !!!,, put it back as you found it
We have just found this one this afternoon, we are so glad we have a new family activity to do.
Finally found it this took us a while once we found it we were amazed we didn’t see it before hahahah
I found the hint to be unhelpful. It eventually spotted it. Thanks for the cache
What a lovely spot. The rolling green landscape made me want to go for an arm stretched out run while bursting into a refrain from 'The Sound of Music'. Just joking but it's really pretty here
Now what were we really here for? Oh yes, that's right, a cache.
Back to business and it wasn't too long before we were signing log and making our way back to the car.
Thanks peasoup62

Found with bennyboppers and mnance101 today. Was concerned coming here after floods, but all good. Tftc
After a few aborted attempts at others due to muggles and a dnf around the bend I was glad to make this find. Everything was in good condition here. Lovely area for a wander
Jimboomba Venturers spent only 5 minutes finding this one. Nice find - 19.10.2021
This afternoon, I travelled south to the Logan area, and later, to attend the Beenleigh catch up event. My first stop was Mayes Cottage, as I knew with its restricted hours of opening, I could use my parental leave opportunity to make a visit. I then headed south-west and made a few walks in the Chambers Flat area, and as I lost daylight, I then made my way towards Beenleigh, passing through Logan Village.
After some scratching around the hard object, I managed to make the cache find in a logical hiding spot. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. I left some natural camouflage marking the spot to help future visitors. Thanks peasoup62 for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Little Mr 8 had a soccer game out here. He scored a fantastic goal for his team. Unfortunately the other team scored a goal in the last 30 seconds. He was devastated that his glory was over-shadowed, but it was nice to watch an evenly matched game.
Although caching isn't his favourite thing, he didn't complain too much when I said we had a quick 4 to find on the way home.
After reading that we had to scratch like turkeys...the cache was quickly found.

Out enjoying some socially distant caching and I had plans for the rest of the day, but this is where I broke Renaldo… so as I sit here waiting for Roadside Assistance I thought I should at least grab the cache…
The recent DNF had me concerned but it didn’t take to long to uncover the cache… tftc…
