Awesome sunny day out caching and great walk here that we have never done before. There was even flowing water in the creek, and motorbike noise in the background. We searched and searched for a while then my friend had the aha moment and bingo.. found! Clever. TFTC
Been a while since we have walked Reid's Walk. We had forgotten that we DNFed this one a couple of years ago. But as we were looking for some caches that were local, this one popped up on the radar.
A nice walk to GZ (now the rain has stopped!)
We considered what we looked for last time, and soon had the cache in hand.
Thanks, Robmc.

#21031. With the new Challenge, Rob and I had been looking much more closely at all the local caches still available to us. We hadn't been back here since our frustrating and time-consuming search that ended in a DNF. Back to have another go and still I wasn't confident that we would find it. Fortunately we had a helpful TOTT that meant we were able to add a Smilie Face to this one. A particularly nasty and sneaky hide.
Thanks Harrowang
Thanks Harrowang
Had a quick search until muggles approached,so made out I was taking pics of the structure until the moved on
Cool little hide

Found with PapaGrouch. After a DNF a couple of years ago we returned today to try again. Cache was quickly spotted in a place I'm sure I checked last time. Log signed and returned and another blue face removed from the map.

This one took me a little bit of time to find that when I found it, I knew what it was straightaway
Took us a few minutes to find this one, when we did find it we also found an ant’s nest that had built a home around the cache! Then we were lucky enough to spot an echidna on our walk back to the car! TFTC
In town for the Off Grid Festival in Eldorado so we decided to come for a walk out to the Swing bridge. Cache was located after a 5 minute search nice hide.
Sl thanks for the cache.

A quick check this afternoon to find this sneaky hide all present and correctly in place.
Last time I came to an event in Eldorado I missed this one. I knew where it would be but I clearly wasn’t thorough enough. Today with a bit more knowledge I wandered through this nice patch of bush and revisited the seat. A quick hunt and the sneaky hide was found. Glad to get my name in this log finally.

#4779 Enjoying the track to ourselves (not a muggle encountered) and we arrived at he cool creative seat. It took a thorough going over under threatening skies before we finally spotted the sneaky sneaky hide here. The geohounds enjoyed a short paddle in the creek before we continued on. When we got back to the car, the heavens opened! Great timing. TFTC Harrowang.
Read the old messages and looked all over the chair and couldn't find it. We're new to this, maybe we just need more experience.
Quick find by Mrs H in seconds of arriving at the seat that was more comfortable than the other one. Very sneaky Harrowang!
After spending some time with Wackyweedos and the Geoboys looking for diamonds in the creek nearby (unsuccessful unfortunately!) but the boys had a great time, we headed to this one.
A short from where we parked and luckily Mrs H found this one pretty quickly. I like it, nicely done!
The mozzies enjoy this creek too I found out.

We had a look for this one today but the hide was to good for us. Maybe another time.
Very nice Harrowang. We knew what we were looking for but it still took a little while. The photo confirmed we were on the right track. TFTC.

Great day for a walk along the track, not as sunny as yesterday and cool but that usually means you have places like this all to yourself whilst everyone else stays inside to keep warm.
Clever use of some old gear here. Seat looks far more comfortable than it actually is, good place for sitting and contemplating.
Didn’t take long to find the container , even though the compass was pointing 11-12mt further out the the grass.
TFTC, cheers.

Checked this one this morning after the recent DNF’s. Still happily tucked away waiting to be found.
I missed coming to the recent event, and so I had not done Reid's Walk (although I have been to the swing bridge).
BettyBoo3747 and I decided to take the dogs down for a short stroll this morning.
Foggy and cold in Beechworth, but a nice morning in Eldorado.
Not a quick find here! Searched for a while but no cache could we find.
Thanks, Robmc.

A busy day caching as it turned out, but not planned that way. We had planned the first part of the day - a trip to Eldorado to find a cache or three. But then, suddenly after lunch the new lot along the Old Coach Road were published, so we loaded them into our GPSrs and headed out with high hopes for a run at the FTFs, but alas that was not to be. We did however get 3 x FTF and 1 Joint FTF with Daz at #60. A good day out in the bush.
A huge failure here this morning. Spent way way too long searching in the limited area without falling over the cliffs. In the end we had to admit defeat and head back along the lovely walk to the car. Off to do a DirtBags cache now.

Quiet wander after the fab fun event here in Eldorado. Soggy misty day in the ‘ville and I was settling in for a Saturday am read when serendipitously I heard about the event. How did I not know? Must be the bubble I live in. Logged a quick ‘I’m on my way’ thanks to Cyergran and took the chance to explore the area and find a cache or two. Figured it HAD to be in an X marks the spot so did not take long to spy the clever tell tale sign. TFTC and the FUN!
Back today to turn this frown upside down. I knew exactly where I had to look as I drove home from the ftf on this cache, so today it was an easy venture. Walking straight up and spotting the hide instantly exactly where I thought it would be!
Very nicely hidden! Well done!

After the event I tried for a few of the accessible caches around Eldorado - will be back for the more strenuous ones on a slightly warmer (and hopefully drier) day.
Too good for me - not the first Harrowang cache to elude and probably won’t be the last. Searched all over (not many hides) maybe needed a better look but ran out of time.
TFTC anyway Harrowang - I will be back

Not sure what the problem is here…. We found it in less than a minute. Both had the same idea, and there it was. Hard to spot but easy to feel.

Was out day tripping with Skullracing and decided to do these two new caches. I have been to most places around Eldorado but haven't actually done Reids Walk. The cache wasn't easy to find. All of us were crawling all over the area but nothing. Then i finally found the very sneaky hide. Log was signed and replaced.

Well, this one took a thousand times longer to find than we all thought!...
Enjoying the stroll along the river with Ilookedthere and we rolled into this one and threw a full scale search all over the shop, as we decided for some reason to look in the exact right spot last.....thankfully it was Jodie who came up with the goods and we signed our lives away in the sneaky log.
Nice spot to sit and think up new swear words about sneaky caches.
Cheers

Well.. there I was knocked off work for the day jumped on the pc to attempt to solve a few puzzle caches, thought id have a look to see if any new ones popped up today.. and there it was a chance at my first FTF! I could see that Jamin had attempted earlier in the day, which had me even more intrigued as I have been following his caches and know he's a very skilled cacher!
.. so I jumped in the car, torch in hand after about 20min or so I was at the start of the walk. Found the chair soon enough and after around 5 mins I found the sneaky bugger ! And now here I am sitting on this cool chair in the dark typing up my first FTF after around a month of discovering this awesome hobby. Tftc Harrowang !

Nat and I wandered around for a while here but a hangry and tired toddler has no time nor patience for a ftf hunt and she did well to last as long as she did. We will return for another look in due course.
Great little walk this.
