Another quick find as per the hint, getting into a rhythm here. Thanks for the placement and the smiley
Quick find, well disguised, great spot but a roaring westerly buffeting us a bit. At least it is a tail wind, tftc.
Got a really early start this morning to ride through the Dunstan trail to Clyde. Left Lowburn at 7 and had a perfect day and an equally perfect ride with only 1 other rider until I was almost at Clyde.A wee scramble for the find. TFTC
3 January 2024 12:08 TFTC Johnv2020 for placing this cache, number 13278 for me.
We rode the Lake Dunstan Trail today on a couple of ebikes with a helpful tail wind, starting at Clyde and finishing in Cromwell - a brilliant trail with spectacular views and amazing engineering.Found the cache thanks to the hint and signed the log.
Were spending the day cycling the Dunstan Trail right through to Alexandra. The Roxburgh Gorge tomorrow. Caching along the way.An instant find thanks to the hint.TFTC

Passing through on my tiki tour around the mainland. Found while riding the Dunstan bike trail. Thanks for hiding Johny2020
Tftc, have always said that we were going to do the cromwell to Clyde track but had never got around to it. So we put a date in the calendar and did it. Perfect weather was not to hot or to cold! sl and replaced
Doing an out and back ride with geocaching on the return leg. Quick find once I read the hint. Thanks.
We went to an excellent string quartet concert in the Bannockburn Hall that finished at 19.30.
It was a beautiful sunny evening so cycled back to Alexandra picking up all our remaining caches on the Dunstan Trail. Highlight was seeing the rising moon over Leaning rock gradually being nibbled away by the earth's shadow on the way to a total eclipse.

DNF with NZDi. We stopped here for lunch, so had plenty of time to look for this. Found a likely hiding place, but no cache. Pity, because it is the only one we missed on the whole trail. If the CO checks and discovers it is missing, perhaps he could permit a complimentary 'Find', as we won't be coming back anytime soon.

Biked the Lake Dunstan trail just six days ago. That was with muggle friends which didn’t enable me to stop to look for caches. As I’m still in the area I decided to bike half the distance today and then return to my starting point at the Bannockburn Inlet. The primary purpose was to pick up perhaps six or seven caches.
As it turned out, I located 11 caches along the trail. I set out early to “best the rush”. It was a superb day weather-wise with great views of the autumn colours. Fortunately most of the caches were reasonably quick finds, as was this one. #4929. TFTC.

Coords are well out - over 10m. I zeroed at the cattle stop, and hunted there before reading the very explicit clue. I made the coords .556,.587 Even with an explicit hint, it still took quite a while and lots of wiggling to eventually spot it, only to have a group come over for a photo. TFTC.
Great location for a cache. Loved the view here and easy to pull over and leave the bike. Hit by strong wind gusts as we made our way over to the cache. Had to look around a bit but the hint was a good one so a smilie face after a few minutes. Thanks Johnv2020 another nice hide.
A nice quick find thanks.
Ms_KR and I are on a wee South Island break. I went for a bike ride down the new trail on the true right of Lake Dunstan. Glorious.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

On a trip south from Tauranga. Been cycling around with Dee+ME and our muggle hubbys. What a fabulous day decided to bike back out to the floating cafe. Just awesome scenery. Love it down here.
I am logging using the Cachly app template so please excuse generic logging along the way. It’s just my way of keeping track, but I do genuinely thank each and every one of you cache owners for taking the time and energy to place these caches. Logged with permission. Many Thanks for bringing me here. Cheers.

Back to ride the Lake Dunstan Trail again, this time with a view to grabbing at least some of the caches that have been placed on the trail since we did it last year. I had gone on ahead but still hadn't found it by the time Mrs Kc caught up but spotted it soon thereafter.

Another found on our first day of biking this trail. We weren't stopping for all of them, unfortunately. TFTC.
Grabbed a few caches on a wee ride up to top of the trail, dam it was busy in both directions. Many Thanks Bitsprayer
JD found this one.
This cache was found on our second summer campervan trip. JDScout and I plan to do three this summer. This trip is from Christchurch to Bannockburn to the Catlins and back.
Thanks for hiding this cache Johnv2020 I appreciate it. It has helped add an extra layer of fun in our holiday.

Doing the return trip on the trail, picking up caches that we missed yesterday TFTC
For years we drove the road from Dunedin to Arrowtown, coming up for both winter and summer holidays. I'd look over at the old miners trails and always be keen to explore them one day. Today SJT_NZ and I tackled the Dunstan trail, stunning and a stinking hot CO day to boot. With copious sun block and what proved to be not quite enough water we enjoyed some lovely down hills and some slow and steady switch backs. Grateful for the stops for caches along the trail, thanks to the CO'S for placing.
Thanks enjoying the bike ride today it has been ages since I have done much biking. Think I might have to invest in an electric bike. I like running long distances better. I did consider running today but biking will be quicker.
Found with Tregearp on our way riding from Smith's Way to Clyde via the new Dunstan Cycle Trail. A quick find, completed formalities and replaced as found. Thanks JohnV2020 for another cache.
Track starting to get busy now, couldnt get a muggle free window.
Cheers and thanks,
S.t.

A perfect stop for a lunch break with a lovely view. We circled around and finally found the cache. Nice hide. Tftc.
Today Injeanious and I cycled from Cromwell to Alexandra along the new bike trail. We had a great time and found lots of caches along the way. Stopped here for a sandwich, tftc!
7. cache today. All good. Carefully walked in circle, seen in the first loop.
Found on the crazy trip from Luggate to Alexandra to meet 2 friends, to find some caches around, to sweat a lot of energy.

Out with BaldEd cycling the newish Cromwell to Clyde cycle/walking trail. What an amazing ride.
I searched one side and BaldEd the other. He came up with the goods.
Cheers for the cache.

Out today with brother Tufty cycling the new Dunstan Trail from Cromwell to Clyde. This was our fifth cache find for the day. Had to pause in our signing as there were many other cyclists riding the trail - told them we were prospecting and not having much luck. Thanks for the cache Jonny2020
We were making a lot of stops to take photos - this was another must-admire-the-gorge-from-this -side place. A couple of groups walking this section - suspect the coffee boat was their turn-around point?
This took awhile as I wandered in circles - my phone had me over the other side of the track but I trusted the hint and found cache
TFTC.perfect day out - amazing ride and also some caches
Thanks for placing and maintaining Johnv2020

Wondering what a firm container was as I hunted for a while. Then I saw it and twigged it. Another {ftf} and a good day and fine view of the traffic.
