It's a free day today and after a haircut I decided to gather some caches. I parked in Duke Street and took the wander northwards first, then headed south to complete the set. This one took some finding, but all is good here. TFTC, Simber15.
Found it. Branch was snapped off. Place it back up a tree in same area found. Just above eye height.TFTC
Took me longer than normal to find this type. It is still hanging but different to what I was looking for. Anyway all good with this one. Thanks for putting these out for all to enjoy.
Reasonable quick find,Might be lower than expected but its hanging around Found by the adventure clubShanwow

Easiest of the last three Same style of cache container. EmEff found it, the Ripper is loosing his touch.Thank for the hide.RVC
Saw a black container, thought that was it but nope then found it. I hate spiders…
GPS was stuck here, so geosenses it was. Spotted it after about 5 mins… just need to change my location somewhat… and got it!
Almost got busted by muggles when I was rummaging around in the trees!! Yikes!! Tftc!
An Event brings us to Redcliffe, so time to cache in the area and Deception Bay.
There are four along here we need to male into Smileys. This final was a much trickier problem find. Couldn't see it in a tree like the previous ones. No wonder, the tree is dead.
Log signed and cache replaced as found at 10.04 am on 23 June 2023. TFTC, the1kat

Very tricky. Like other finders, we spent too much time there. Happy to have found it on such a beautiful day.

Was catching up with mum this morning and on the way home decided to grab a few more caches. Might as well try to get the souvenir for finding 100 this month.
Well that took much longer than it should have. Walked around and around in circles till I finally spied it. I could see it clearly looking back so no idea why it took me so long.
This was a lovely walk along the creek.

Simber15 I found your cache Peninsula Trail - Elizabeth Avenue on 6/12/2022, 2:05 pm. This is my find 4540 and find # 12 today. Found it after a brief search. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
I decided to head to Clontaft today for a few finds. #8 for today, after circling around a bit due to gps bounce, the cache was quickly retrieved, signed and returned to it's resting place. TFTC, TFTH & TFTSF
My wife asked me if there were any caches we needed ion Clontarf. Yep, there are a few over there we have not got yet. Why do you ask? Well, she has some pottery to be collected from a shop in Clontarf, and seems the best way to convince me to go get it for her is to let me grab some caches whilst I am there. She knows me only too well...
Cache 3 for the day
Left the car and walked tot he next one. At GZ, did the same thing and wandered around with some phone bounce, but got there soon enough. Use your eyes and you will get there eventually. Thanks for the cache!

Just so happens I was on my way home after collecting a few of this series near the golf course when the car took me on a short loop straight past this spot. Left the car to graze with the other residential aged care cars while I took off on foot.
Managed to avoid the aged care police and other assorted criminal pursuits to duck into the forested area. I did get noticed by a local who quickly averted his eyes when he saw me rubbing away to warm up my hands. Thought this sort of activity would be common place in Redcliffe. In the end spotted the cache quickly and had it signed. Thanks Simber15 for entertaining me here today.

Was looking around for this cache, turned around and it was right in front of me! Thanks for this find
Out to get a few more caches in the Moreton Region today and this one was on my list. Parked on the road beside the park and took the short walk to GZ. This was a quick and easy find. Log signed and cache replaced as found. TFTC
Two of Oztracker11 are on the peninsula for a couple of days to celebrate our 55th anniversary.
We started on this trail last time we were here but somehow missed this one.
This was our first stop off, even before signing into our accommodation...we must be geocachers
Looks like the weather and the caching Gods are with us as this was an easy find in a pleasant location.
Good coordinates helped here.
Thanks Simber15

Heaps of searching required but did eventually spot it. A tricky little hide.
Signed and headed back along the trail.
Thanks for the cache!

Once I was looking @ correct elevation, it was found... & full of H2o, but I still managed a scrawl. T4TC:-)
Parked the van down by the bay and headed off to complete this series whilst the geowife read her book club book. Nice easy finds tucked away with enough protection from passing muggles.
Thanks
Thanks
Student wizards have somehow managed to light the Ankh on fire. The bucket chain doesn’t seems to know whether it’s the start or the end and buckets are getting passed backward and forward with actually making it to the fire. I’m pretty sure we have more than the average amount of the Fools Guild helping out tonight.
I was out chasing 3 cache today to fill a calendar spots. So pick these 3 because they were close together. Park close the middle one. Quick walk to all three. All found safe and sound.
So will be back to pickup the others later.

This one took a lot longer than it should have, mostly because we were looking in the wrong area. We moved down a little and I turned around and there it was.

Today was a fairly busy day in Brisbane's north-west, structured around a morning CITO at Clontarf, and two other events in Nudgee Beach and Sandgate. In between the events, I joined a few others in completing *Lagoon Fishing* Adventure Lab at Sandgate, and then tackled a few of the *Peninsula Trail* series and *Witch's Hat* around the Redcliffe vicinity.
After having an unsuccessful DNF at a previous *Peninsula Trail* cache, I moved my car, and managed to park quite close to this geocache's GZ. A pretty spot next to the river, and the cache only took a few minutes to find. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Simber15 for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Our Attention by was drawn to the beautiful flowers before we actually spied the cache. A nice quick find. TFTC
Spotted some pretty flowers as we approached GZ which took our attention originally in that way but soon spied the geocache when we focused. TFTC Simber15

Took awhile of looking in the wrong place low down. But when I stepped back and changed our perspective an easy find.
