nice little find. made difficult by the terrible wind today. tftc

19-Aug-24
Not saying it's not there, just saying we couldn't find it. But neither of us are 100% at the moment so that's not surprising.

A bit of exploring in the area today so I grabbed a few local caches.Had a chat to the local farmers son as we waited for them to transfer some cows from one paddock to another across the track. Thanks kryslazz.

I found this cache today in company of Pprass on our North East of Warragul Tour. Parking now at our last stop, we started the walk for our last two caches and made the find here. Thanks from D B-A

Found at 3:02 PM GAFF5 in the company of Rabbitto. This one took a bit longer to locate and finally at a distance of 9 metres, Dean found it.Thanks to kryslazz

The plan for today was to go Hounding at Mt Baw Baw. But when I was almost there, I discovered that the road is closed, and I would have to detour to Moe and take the South Face. As such, I thought I'd start taking that route and see what geocaches caught my eye. The walk around sweet water creek was nice, but the highlight was Blue Rock Lake. This walk was the start of the day and turned out to be 1 of the highlights. Certainly a lovely area and not too many people here between 8 and 9 in the morning. Once again, doing this in the wrong order worked against me. But I found it in the end. Thanks for the cache, Krys Lazz.Hunter

Derek had been looking at this area for some time and invited me to join him. Fabulous afternoon exploring Willow Grove and Blue Rock Dam. Most easily found. Thanks for luring us here kryslazz.

I had noticed these caches quite some time ago, so today, as we were planning to search for a nearby night cache, I met Kbucky during the afternoon, and we rode our bikes around the loop. Most of these were found quite quickly, with Kylies eagle eyes working better than mine, but a couple took some extra time, as we had to widen our search area. Thanks for putting these out for our enjoyment, kryslazz. We had a good time.

Great day for a ride around after work. This one had us wandering about a bit but eventually had it in hand. TFTC

This one took a bit to find especially at night

27-Sep-23
We returned to Blue Rock Lake to complete the loop today. Although it was drizzling earlier, the sky cleared in time for our walk down at the lake so beautiful.. Each of the caches was nicely hidden and in hand after a short search. Thanks kryslazz for placing the cache, I enjoyed the series.

07-Nov-22
Damn! I've just realised I've been logging these in the wrong order. This one was actually the first one in the series that we found (followed by #3 and then #2). Oh well, *whatever!* At least I've got the date we found it right!

On a road trip with our caching friends to check out the Thompson Dam spilling over for the first time in 26 years, and we also stopped to find some caches along the way. After visiting the dam, we stopped here at Blue Rock Lake on our way home to pick up a couple of caches and ended up going for a short walk around the Lake and actually picking up three caches here. While Wetjala and I (Mrs Pooky) were following our GPS's Mr Pooky and Mrs Biggles had already made the find as our GPS's were out by about 8 metres. TFTC and bringing us to the Lake and the walking track.

Our day of caching started at the beautiful Blue Lake at Willow Grove. We parked at the recreation reserve and had a lovely anti clockwise stroll collecting the eight caches as we went. We spent some time at the Blue Lake Picnic Area/Boat Ramp searching unsuccessfully for the mystery cache before completing the circuit. All caches were reasonably easy finds with a few resulting in some minor scratches. Some logs were a bit wet but easily dried. Nice hides TFTC.

This one had us going around in circles for a while before reading previous logs and seeing that the coords might not be 100%

I sent muggle friend over the other side of the track while I moved a few meters down the track.....we both called out that we had found it at the same time......she had spotted something else (not sure what) so I signed the log and replaced the cache.

Thanks kryslazz

These coords were off by about 8 meter according to iPhone. Tftc

17-Oct-21
Wayyyyy to many muggles to peacefully search. I will be back for this one. Just marking it on my map for future.

14-Oct-21
found this one along with the rest on the circuit during a walk around the lake. A beautiful spot, very different to when i grew up in the area as a child.

10-Oct-21
Another great little find.

09-Oct-21
After reading previous logs we were anticipating a difficult search but fortunately the cache was quickly spotted between local muggles passing by. There weren’t many people up this end of the track. Thanks for another good hide on this beautiful walking loop.

08-Oct-21
Found it signed it and replaced it. Thanks kryslazz FTC

05-Oct-21
Oh, this one was hard to find! I was so close to giving up, then looked through the activity and noticed that no DNF’s had been recorded - and I didn’t want to be the first! So I searched again and FINALLY found the little pest of a thing. Thank you for the cache!

03-Oct-21
Great location found with a bit of ease with a friend

Finly got it finished loop now tftc

28-Sep-21
Decided to come for a walk today since the weather was nice. I thought it was going to be raining, so was planning to stay home. Haven’t been caching since before Covid. I finally thought it was time to re-engage.
Was glad I saved these caches offline as I’ve lost reception here, but the cache was in hand quickly, log signed and returned to its hiding place. TFTC

Well, this one took a lot of looking for. Too much time, but after widening the search area by over 15 metres we finally got to sign the log.
A lovely day after the past few miserable, wet, windy and earthquaky days, so we decided to team up again with Rebel Acts again and do a few local caches we hadn’t got to. Many of the logs are signed RASP because the alliance is back in action!

Found by Rebel Acts

My good friends Ski Pair were finally back from their northern migration or should we just call it escape the lockdown state trip, anyway it was good to see them again and enjoy a day out caching, we started at Blue Rock dam and made our way to Moe and Morwell to clean up a few caches, the weather was finally nice and we had a great day out.

This is one of the caches I found today. This was our first of the series and it gave us a headache, we finally found it 10m from the indicated GZ, thankfully all the rest were spot on and we did enjoy the walk.

Thanks kryslazz for the cache.

A change of scenery as we headed up the bushtrack towards the town. What a view some of these properties have! A bit of searching was required for this one, and on finding the cache my coordinates still had me 10 metres off. A delightful reception at the top of the track from “Tiny”, who, as the sign suggests, enjoys apples and carrots of which we had neither unfortunately. A scratch on his cute little head would have to suffice today, and off we set again. TFTC again, kryslazz!

19-Sep-21
Team Gruidae ftw yet again. We enjoyed wandering up this little track and especially the treat at the top. Future geocachers: bring carrots or apples to feed to Tiny! TFTC kryslazz

16-Sep-21
It took a while to find this cache! I almost gave up after checking several places within a few metres of GZ according to my finding device with no results. I checked a few more spots further down the hill as leaving a bit further away. Black bisons hanging on trees is sheer cruelty. Hang on, I’ve got a cache like that somewhere! Well, it certainly wasn’t easy! It was also fun!

It's certainly an advantage wearing hi vis nobody was curious about what l was up to on this cache, well it certainly is a fantastic trail thanks again for placing all these caches kryslazz
