We're out and about running some errands and decided to head up to Blue lake and find a few caches to help us along with the current souvenir challenge. This was a quick, easy find today. Thanks for find #6354TNLN
A bit of exploring in the area today so I grabbed a few local caches. Thanks kryslazz.
I found this cache today in company of Pprass on our North East of Warragul Tour. I went low but Peter went high and made the find. Thanks from D B-A
Found at 2:55 PM GAFF3 in the company of Rabbitto. An unexpected location given what was nearby. A bit harder to get to than the T1.5 suggests. Thanks to kryslazz
The plan for today was to go Hounding at Mt Baw Baw. But when I was almost there, I discovered that the road is closed, and I would have to detour to Moe and take the South Face. As such, I thought I'd start taking that route and see what geocaches caught my eye. The walk around sweet water creek was nice, but the highlight was Blue Rock Lake. This walk was the start of the day and turned out to be 1 of the highlights. Certainly a lovely area and not too many people here between 8 and 9 in the morning. I'm glad the workmen are on the other side of the oval. Meant I didn't have to worry about them too much. Thanks for the cache, Krys Lazz.Hunter
I had noticed these caches quite some time ago, so today, as we were planning to search for a nearby night cache, I met Kbucky during the afternoon, and we rode our bikes around the loop. Most of these were found quite quickly, with Kylies eagle eyes working better than mine, but a couple took some extra time, as we had to widen our search area. Thanks for putting these out for our enjoyment, kryslazz. We had a good time.
Derek had been looking at this area for some time and invited me to join him. Fabulous afternoon exploring Willow Grove and Blue Rock Dam. Most easily found. Thanks for luring us here kryslazz.
Great day for a ride around after work. This one was a nice quick find. TFTC
Been such a long time since we have done any geocaching. Great day for it. Tftc
First time I have visited the Blue Rock Lake - what a lovely location with quite a number making the most of the location on a find Sunday. Took a little while to find and with a couple of DNF's was looking that we too would come away empty handed but with a recent find we persevered with gwd.aussie finally finding the cache. Thanks kryslazz
Had a good look, and than read some log.Look a bit more, almost gave up, but search in a bit wide area to make the find. Out caching with D@geoThank you for the hide kryslazz
Didn't see the previous log but gave up after reading it! Thanks for bringing us on this route
Cache is definitely not there.
2 ladies walking past confirmed this when she rang her son, who is a local geocacher.
He confirmed that someone from school said that it hasn’t been there since Christmas.
So will need a maintenance check.
Thanks for putting these ones out for us to find, it’s only occasionally that it’s not there.

Such a lovely area so we will be returning and of course to pick up the caches we couldn't retrieve today.
Hmm, the GZ is a few metres away in there! Do we approach it from this side or the other side? We tried both and ended up selecting "this side" so we selected our sacrifice to tackle to scrub (my mate) and retrieve the cache, which he did bless his little cotton socks! Once the log was duly signed my mate once again was selected to return it to it's hiding spot - "You retrieved it so you can put it back!"

On a road trip with our caching friends to check out the Thompson Dam spilling over for the first time in 26 years, and we also stopped to find some caches along the way. After visiting the dam, we stopped at Blue Rock Lake on our way home. After going for a short walk around the Lake and picking up three caches "Blue Rock Lake Loop #4, #3, and #2, we drove up to the recreation reserve to locate this cache. After circumnavigating the area to find the easiest way to GZ, it was Mr Pooky who clambered in, and soon made the find. TFTC and bringing us to this spoy.
Our day of caching started at the beautiful Blue Lake at Willow Grove. We parked at the recreation reserve and had a lovely anti clockwise stroll collecting the eight caches as we went. We spent sometime at the Blue Lake Picnic Area/Boat Ramp searching unsuccessfully for the mystery cache before completing the circuit. All caches were reasonably easy finds with a few resulting in some minor scratches. Some logs were a bit wet but easily dried. Nice hides TFTC.

Found with a muggle friend, we enjoyed the walk around the lake.
Never been here before, very nice spot.
Thanks for the cache.

We picked a good day cricket was on and people setting up for the movies at 7pm but we found a way to not be spotted and a little bit of football to put everything back in place but this has been such a great walk. Tftc
Quick easy find on an impromptu day of caching, Amazing views and a great walk tftc
Don’t know why but I started looking for a bison. Then I bashed the bejeezus out of my head a wanted to give this one a mis. But I hate those blue faces! And then I spotted it! Tftc
Woo Hoo! Out of lockdown. A great day for a drive in the country.
A trip out to Blue Rock Dam and a few caches along the way with +Wife at the wheel, me navigating and the GeoMutts in the back seat.
After finding the nearby old mystery cache we set about making a start on this loop.
I managed to do circle work looking for this one. Eventually found it when I simply followed the arrow to GZ. All in good order.
Thanks for the caches kryslazz. We'll be back for the rest.

Took the travel bugs to move on. Tftc

found this one along with the rest on the circuit during a walk around the lake. A beautiful spot, very different to when i grew up in the area as a child.
Found this one also. Dropped 2 travel bugs so they can finally be on the move again after holding for quite some time due to Covid...
There were some footpath works going on along this part of the track, which meant an easy detour along the quiet road. The path is almost finished and will add to the ease of the walking track. Gz was very quiet today which made this nice sized cache a relaxed find.
This one was nice and easy, which I very much appreciated after the last one! Thank you!
Tftc kryslas. A bit if time to kill b4 the big game tonight and a chance to get to 600 finds. Live in Moe and have good interactions with this lake. Quick find.
This was a lovely walk, with a number of family groups taking advantage of the school holidays and great weather to enjoy it as well. Thankfully we managed to avoid the muggles while we were looking of this one. a much quicker find than the previous one thankfully.
A lovely day after the past few miserable, wet, windy and earthquaky days, so we decided to team up again with Rebel Acts again and do a few local caches we hadn’t got to. Many of the logs are signed RASP because the alliance is back in action!

My good friends Ski Pair were finally back from their northern migration or should we just call it escape the lockdown state trip, anyway it was good to see them again and enjoy a day out caching, we started at Blue Rock dam and made our way to Moe and Morwell to clean up a few caches, the weather was finally nice and we had a great day out.
This is one of the caches I found today. A great walk, thanks for showing us this location.
Thanks kryslazz for the cache.

Thanks kryslazz for the cache.
I was so distracted by dodging brush and exiting without scratching myself that I left the eldest geokids coat at GZ! Two swaps were left for the next finders, I would return here later to retrieve forgotten coat!
Emerging into the township, the spiderlings and colts (I learned a new baby animal term!) were munching on strawberries and we snuck in through a side gate for another Gruidae to make this find. TFTC kryslazz
This find meant I’d collected the complete set of these caches this afternoon! I think that makes me the first to complete the series! Whoo hoo! That’s a real first for me. We needed to be quite agile to access this cache and there were more Muggles around than at any other site this afternoon. People might have wondered why we were there. The cache was well hidden and unless you knew what you were looking for it’s unlikely to be found. Thanks for a great series, Kryslazz.

I actually thought that it would be quiet here today after work but that is certainly not the case there's a lot of people around but nobody knows what l was up to thanks for placing these caches kryslazz
