Oh god damnit. I spent like $50 on that camo. Time to figure out something else. Ugh

Will have to come back for that one!

I found this cache today on my 25,000 step walk around Port Melbourne. It was a long walk from the previous cache find and I was wondering if I could get to 30,000 steps before the end of the day. Once here though, I was only nearing 23,000 and I was pretty sure that I was nearing the end of my endurance for today. A long wait to get the park to myself. I didn't mind the break though and got to watch some pigeons courting in the meantime. Thanks from D B-A

09-Sep-23
In town for a concert, and searched out a few caches afterwards.
No luck here. The vegetation doesn't match log photos, and I can't see where a regular cache could be hidden here.

03-Sep-23
Couldn’t find this catch. I’m not sure if my GPS was off, or if it was just my finding skills, but unfortunately no catch today. Definitely coming back for another look

A nice cache find on a cold and getting colder afternoon.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks for placing this geocache here for us to find today, for without those who like to hide geocaches, there would be nothing around for those who like to find geocaches.

Well, I wasn't expecting that..what a nice little corner.. With a book library across the Rd, I was very tempted to meander over after signing this cool cache.

Life has been difficult lately. I've purchased a new cover and will be implementing that this week.

In touch with the council, talking about options.

Currently working with the City of Port Phillip to find a new location for this cache. I'll post updates when I have them.

29-Dec-22
Seems the council knocked this one out when they trimmed the bushes. I'll have a think and be back soon with container 3

Can not find it

What an amazing woman. I read further about Olive as I found it difficult to comprehend that I had not heard of her before. Thanks GeoRRider for bringing Olive and her life's work to my attention. The world and I are richer for her being. Fav point from me.

A quick find, but not my favourite type, never have been keen on feeling around these areas. But I was more game to touch it than Snips and Co once she spied it, as I'd already got mucky earlier today.

Find 676 for the tribe

Wandering about Port Melbourne which is filled with Cavoodles, coffee and caches, as it turns out!

This cache is in good condition, with plenty of room in the logbook. Replaced as found. The vegetation is quite prickly!

TFTC, the tribes fourth cache in Victoria.

Spotted what I thought might be the hide pretty quickly, but needed to do some Google searches before touching it to make sure I wasn't man handling a rat trap or something, lol. But soon had my signature on the log. TFTC from Tennessee, USA

There's a bit of weather around but I still have time to grab a few caches on my way home. I had to wait for the coast to be clear but that didn't take too long.
Thanks GeoRRider for the cache. Nice Camo

11:43, 21 July 2022. #532.

Another run of late logging of caches for me. Someone nags me about it, but that usually doesn't motivate me much. RGSBruce drove me to an appointment in Port Melbourne on this day, so we decided to find a cache or two in the area while we were here. This was closest to where the appointment was.

There were a few muggles around, none of whom seemed remotely interested in us, so we managed to find this nicely cammoed cache fairly quickly.

HerIndoorsOutdoors had an appointment in Port Melbourne today, so we decided to find a cache or two in the area while we were here. This was closest to where the appointment was, so an obvious first choice.

There were a few muggles around, none of whom seemed remotely interested in us, so we managed to find this nicely cammoed cache fairly quickly.

The cache was a bit damp and dirty on the outside, but otherwise in good condition.

Had a quick look - didn't see it

Nice cache! Need Russell to help you find it

Mixed feelings about this one. On the one hand fantastic subject to memorialise. A woman who did more than most to make the world a better place.
On the other it is pretty hard to find a more exposed place with some very spiky plants in very close proximity.
I'll be surprised if it stands the test of time even with the camo. Would suggest the rocks nearby as a better static spot if this is to be GZ.

Lever spot. Had to wait for the right moment.

Nice hide, had to be stealthy. There were no swaps inside so I added some of my own. Peace

Found this cache early this morning with very few muggles around. Nice quick easy find. Needs a new logbook and a new pen. Tftc. Sl. Left a heap more swaps for the kids to find. Great little park. Bring some bread to feed the birds in the park. Cheers. Great little hide.

What an amazing woman Olive was. Had it not been for the detailed cache notes we would not have known about her work. A quick find, we had to be wary of some muggles enjoying morning tea. In another life P-P knew Olive.

**FEEDBACK TO CO:** Found cache with a nice new log, but no identification - add GC ID and cache name, as well as our handle!

Thanks GeoRRider for placing interesting caches on the gameboard..

New location for the hide, should be last a lot longer.

Finalising replacement camo tonight

13-Nov-21
No brick, no geocache Sad
This one appears to be MIA. Maybe a welfare check is needed to confirm it's there or not.

08-Nov-21
Grr, someone has made off with the container. Disabling until I can replace the box.

06-Nov-21
Can't find the brick

TFTC GeoRRider! This is such a brilliant spot & one that has happily been even busier during COVID. People gather to meet, sit quietly and just enjoy this small open space that is Olive’s. What a lovely tribute. Only tricky bit is finding a time when no one is about
