Woo hoo didnt have a pan but took a photo and going to buy a pen for the next one.
Was out and about in the Croydon area grinding a few caches out. After frolicking around in a few trees the cache was eventually found. Thankfully the whole playground was void of muggles today.
Pretty easy find compared to the reserve. Took about 10 seconds! Nice little spot.
A nice quick and easy find on a very pleasant afternoon stroll around the park. Thanks for the cache.
That was a little tricky. Once I worked out the right tree the find was quickly made. Thanks BernieH for bringing me back to another of your haunts.
icw spotted this one. We signed the log and replaced it ready for the next cacher to find. Tftc.
Decide to wander over to Warranwood... Croydon area this afternoon to hunt out enough caches to finish off this months *hard* souvenir... and that turned out to be harder than I expected. All I wanted was 5 finds today but 3 DNFs were really not helping. Could I turn my luck around with this cache... I certainly hoped so... and to my surprise, I found it extremely quickly... job done, time to go home for dinner. Thanks **BernieH** for this cache.
Despite the beautiful weather today, the park was empty making this find a nice quick one. Tftc
Catching up for caching today with day1976, we did freestyle caching, with no plans.
Met up with the newbies again here, and as they didn't have a pen at the last cache I gave them a spare one from my car. I spotted it very quickly but we'd agreed to give them a chance to search, and they found it after a little bit of looking.

My son spotted this one first - a nice pocket of green and a cute little playground. No time to play today, off for the next smiley.
Thanks BernieH for your cache collection. We are gradually knocking them over!

Thanks for the cache BernieH, I'm not sure how I could have picked up this prize without looking a bit suspicious to the lady sitting at the park bench with her dog. Anyhow perhaps I will become a famous face on the neighbourhood watch bulletin board.

My route back to the car was taking me past this one so I decided to pick it up on my way through. A nice quick find in a pleasant little park. log signed and replaced as found.
Happy to report that the cache is in good condition and the log nice and dry.

Fourth find for the day with Geoffsaintgg after having lunch nearby. A lovely playground and reserve.
Found quickly after a short search. Thanks for this cache BernieH.

Today I was on a mission to find caches that I needed to finish my 360 degrees from home (5 degrees in total) and I had three dates required of when caches were placed - to find. Finding caches that Bunadoorian hadn't found previously added to the complexity.
Wednesdays have recently become our morning tea out with friends - but as they have just left for a road trip with their caravan to WA we came exploring before stopping for our morning tea.
After morning tea we continued our journey and this became our ninth find for today - another in my third degree required - 120-121degree. Bunadoorian spied this cache first. TFTC and for bringing us here BernieH.

After a short search the cache was found nicely hidden. All was found to be in good condition. TFTC.

Next stop in the area. There were muggle children on the playground so I walked a lap of the block. The coast was clear when I returned and I was able to make the find.
Thanks BernieH for the cache

Just rode across the road for this one which was a breeze after thr previous one at the retirement village. Nobody about today even on the playground. Thanks.
Found after work with traccas b today, lovely little playground, loved the big open areas of the park too, A really well hidden hide and watch out for falling acorns!
Cache container still in place.
All good to go, now come and find it!

DNF at 10:16 AM.
For easy suburban 1.5/1.5 type caches, I am having a dreadful time. 2nd DNF for the morning and some of the others were hard to locate as the co-ords are a bit out.

This is an interesting little park, tucked away amongst the houses. With RedcbBluebm, and Pilot the hound, we walked past a few people chatting by the playground and, trying to look inconspicuous, closed in on GZ and signed the log.
Thanks BernieH.
Thanks BernieH.
A little park tucked away in suburbia. Crustyvarmint and I had to be careful and tried our best to go into stealth mode as muggles were about and after some "casual wandering" and a few minutes we located the cache. Thanks BernieH
A quick find! Thankfully on this rainy day there were no muggles at the playground, so I could log without stealth. Tftc!
Nice little find. Once again Bernie thanks for the cache and taking me to another park I never knew was there.
Another quick little find while out and about in the area, thanks once again Bernie H.
All the way over, I was expecting to hear barking dogs, so tiptoed all the way. Stealth mode: Expert.
Thankfully I made it to gz and back without any disturbances. Maybe no dogs in these backyards? Or maybe I’m just really good at tip-toing.
Thanks for bringing me here today by placing this cache, BernieH

We wondered where we were going until we noticed this little area at the back. We were lucky as there were no muggles here when we arrived. Thanks for the cache.
This was an odd little area but luckily for us the cache was quickly found. Thanks for placing it for us to find.
A wet Monday, a calendar hole and a need to cycle in the rain!
This was the second for the day.
Aaaaargh - now it’s a cammo BIT!!!
Croydon is very lovely, but this part is starting to feel like my personal hell.
Although, coords were excellent and hide was quickly located.
I might just have a lie down in the rain now…

Took me longer than it should have as the GPS had me at the wrong tree, but once I realised I wasn't looking for gum nuts I soon settled on the right location.
After an appointment in Lilydale, I took advantage of the improved weather to search for a few localish caches.
This was a fairly quick find away from the muggles on the play equipment.

This is a very pretty playground. At GZ the cache was found no problem. Love caching in Croydon.
I dropped by this cache today for my daily walk and cache....another of the CO's Croydon caches. I parked near the Glenwood Drive entrance to the park and had a lovely walk through the absolutely deserted park to GZ. It must have been too warm for everyone. I did a 360° rotation of GZ and spotted the cache when I was looking from the right direction. I sat on a nearby seat to sign the log at 5:45 pm and also enjoy the serene and peaceful park. TNLN. I used hand sanitiser before and after finding the cache.
Thanks BernieH for the nicely camo'd cache and for showing me this lovely little urban park. After finding the cache I walked through the park a few times. I even met a neighbour who chatted with me for a while and thought I was a local...I didn't tell her otherwise.

With JMelb being an “Educational Contact” which officially means RATest for 5 days and if not symptomatic and negative then go about your business, she decided she would be extra careful and not go anywhere and the weather had been too hot for the past few days anyway, today was the first day of being 100% free and the weather was meant to be cooler, so we headed off to do some Caching. On to this one with a nice little walk to GZ we started hunting, distracted by something else at GZ which wasnt the cache, GMelb eventually spotted it.

Out with xambo4u, we were going to have a short day, but we were having far too much success to stop.
We saw a lovely treehouse in a nearby yard on our way to GZ.
You certainly made good use of lockdown with all these caches, thanks BernieH.

Out and about with echidna44 for a short run which developed into a long one, so good. Easy parking and another nice green space tucked away. We are blessed with so many. Quickly had it in hand. Pretty groovy playbouse for the kids to play in in someone's back yard. Love your work BernieH
Thanks BernieH. While it took longer than I'd hoped to find, it was still a lot less than I'd expected. Happy 2022. Giddy up
Out again this morning, picking up more BernieH caches - had a great time before the heat of the day set in After a DNF on a previous cache, I really struggled to find this one too! A real kick in the guts to my confidence! Found it eventually, TFTC!
Out on an evening hike with Trailstevo. Just sneaking in another 11km to make sure I can continue to work my way through the remaining naughty Christmas food! Thanks for the adventure and hide.
Evening walk with Gunks to clean up some of the Croydon area. 11km in total and some hills. Quicker find than expected. TFTC
Out with Spiffy-, his geokid and my geopartner for some evening caches and this patch in the Croydon area had our attention.
Made short work of this one at GZ.
Thanks to BernieH fopr the placement and fun.

Out for an evening run with Fleabag- and his partner and my smallest geokid for this new patch of caches that must have kept you busy during lockdown. It was really handy having 4 sets of eyes on some of these especially that nano. It started off easily but later on got quite hilly ... should have done it the other way around. After getting about half of the tally Fleabag- needed to reach 2,000 cache finds for this year we headed to GYG for a well deserved Burrito dinner.
Woofing dog didn't have to woof for too long because I was straight onto this one. Quite a few log book papers made it a little tricky to get at.
Thanks BernieH for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

We initially missed the entrance to the reserve but after a u-turn we were able to walk to GZ - not a muggle in site but we were noticed by a yapping dog behind one of the fences. A relatively quick find and we were able to sign the log. Thanks to Bernie H for the cache.
I had a bit of trouble reading the map at first and ended up looking near the GZ but not quite on it. Found it eventually though, and the other Found logs helped narrow it down.

An unexpected find on the way home from an evening drive and geohunt.
I’m enjoying having the BernieH theme park so close to my own GZ.

found it doing a loop around some of the Croydon caches! beautiful day for it
Good camo spot close to home! Lucky no muggles were at the park to see us walking circles around the same tree

Ahh a well placed cache and one of those hides where you get it straight away or it takes way longer...
Continuing my work on clearing out the area, impressive number of new caches published in the last 2 weeks. [^] No one around at this time.

I found this cache today on my Wednesday Morning Croydon Cache Caper - The Sequel. Back to some of the areas that I ran around a couple of days ago. Another nice little spot and thankfully quiet today. Our 2nd find in this park and our 185th 3TF. Thanks from D B-A
Just battled the traffic to get home and hadn’t noticed the new cache just a stones throw away. After about 10 mins of contemplating whether to go back out there, the temptation of another BernieH FTF got the better of me. The traffic was still horrendous but surprisingly I managed to get there in time to be the first to receive the cache. Now, should I go for another? I’m out now anyway…
