Took a little while to locate cache as the coordinates on my phone were a bit off. TFTC.
Found with minniek as we were heading home from the Canberra Penrith Invasion 2024 over the long weekend.Day 3 of the Canberra Penrith Invasion 2024. With a long weekend upon us a plan was hatched to do another Penrith Invasion as there are still many quality caches up here that we haven't found. We drove up early on Saturday and concentrated on the Band Caches and Horcrux Series, along with many others along the way, then a dinner event at Panthers. Sunday's adventure started with brekkie at Maccas, then a trip up to the Blue Mountains for some quality Caches. Today's adventures started with a morning get together, then consisted of the Caramel Hills series plus anything else that came along before the drive home. We then all split up and went our separate ways ultimately heading for home(s). This was a convenient drive by for us. Signed the log, replaced the cache as found, then continued on to the next cache on our list. Thanks ws_cachers !!
Chooo ooo [Found] with dty73 and youban on a caching invasion of Penrith! Thanks ws_cachers!
Out and around Penrith with Tankengine and Dty73 picking up the odd cache as we come upon them. Kutgw
What an awesome day! Tankengine, Youban and I went and had an awesome breakfast at Percy Plunkett Cafe. The food and service was really good, but the coffee was smaller than expected, but not too bad. After that we got some caches before meeting the rest of the gang (fitzy_1965, minniek, Joolay, contesta, Aquilus1, sacada, GLISS! and Nibletricecakes). We dashed from cache to cache, all we aimed for we found and only had a couple of DNFs. After an all day run around happily caching (only breaking for lunch at Zeus Kebab and Pizza House in Cranebrook Village - which hit the spot!), we headed to the Panthers Club for the event and a well earned drink! This cache: Quick one. Easily found and onto the next one. Tftc!!!
Reperio 09:33I headed to Sydney today for a few days away, and this time I was joined by a work colleague who had never experienced geocaching before. We took a detour towards Warragamba Dam before eventually making our way to Darling Harbour. This was our first cache stop for the day, and whilst this wasnt the way I wanted to introduce a new cacher to the world of geocaching with a microwe managed to find it quickly, and he loved it.Gratias ws_cachersAs a well spent day brings happy sleep, a well spent life brings happy death - LDV
Wow the road was busy today, but managed a safe park and made a quick find at GZ, thanks.
Oooh took us a little while. But easy spot lolGZ wasnt so accurate on my phone. TFTC!
Had to clear out some webs to access it, but a nice easy little find on a geodrive down Mulgoa Rd. TFTC
Some caching over the weekend in the Picton to Penrith area as I have to be here for other volunteer work as well. Mostly quick caches and solved puzzles, not able to do big walks in the gear i am wearing. TFTC Wilbert67
Quick PnG while passing though luckily it was school holidays and traffic was light so I could cross to the correct side of the road and park safely.
Corrected my DNF, can confirm I was looking at the wrong one last time, duh
I thought this was going to be a DNF, as on concentrated on another area. I extended the search and made the find. The cache hides well. My Garmin was five metres out. TFTC ws_cachers.
Found It!
There was a lot of traffic going in and out of this school for a Saturday. Thankfully it didn't take me long to find the cache.

On our way home from the mountains and oldmorty and I made a detour south of the M4 to find a few more caches in the area.
This cache took us longer to find than it should have.
Thanks to ws_cachers for placing this cache.

On our way to do an Adventure Lab, frazeydaze and I stopped off to grab a few nearby caches. This one took us a little while to find. Thanks for placing this cache ws cachers.
Quick find during lunch break while doing the some ecological restoration along the creek. Tftc.
Were up here for a birthday party, grabbing caches as we get the opportunity. Quick find and placed as found. TFTC
Found on the way from the mountains after a caching day out with Dan of SueDan83.
Dan made the find on this one in a logical spot.

Have done a check after all the rain and this is still dry and in place. Thanks
TFTC. I hadn't been out caching in a while but opened the app and found this one near by.
This is a great school as well with a good community feel.

Today I'm caching down Mulgoa Road.
Having never been down here before I'd checked google satellite and could see the GZ area. A previous finder suggested parking in the school carpark ..... but the gate was closed today.
I managed to park the geomobile off the road and away from the gate just in case anyone came.
This is a pleasant spot.
Found the usual ws_cachers container right at the GPS's suggested location.

Hmm, parking options aren't great here, in fact the ideal spot is probably in the school carpark. Probably best to avoid that. The rain has been bad all day but is torrential now. I think I've achieved my short-term goal of getting enough points to finish Reach The Peak, I've added a few multis to my find count, and I've found some interesting and exciting caches in some interesting and exciting places. Now if I can only drive home without being washed away...
Headed west for some caching fun with ilook4geo and found a variety of hides by several different cache owners. There were no problems with this lot and all logs were signed. Thanks for this cache go to ws_cachers.
Did a selection of caches with goingplaces2, but skipped some where the grass was too long and some where there were muggles in close range. Enjoyed the ones we found and added our names to the log. This one was a successful find. TFTC.
#8453 (5 of 5 today)
Those Caching Calendar Gods actually gave me a few days off - even went to the Big Bash one night (we won) - but today I'm back on the treadmill and decided to head out Mulgoa way for a five cache round trip.
Got everything I went for - all fairly simple in the end.
Good times!
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
I've driven past here many times - often at 40 kilometres per hour - but never stopped. Why would I? Well today I have a reason.
Knew what container I was looking for, and the likely hidey holes, but of course checked the wrong area first.
After a minute or two I adjusted to the right spot and made the find.
Also spotted some suspiciously huntsman-like legs right next to it. So tapped nearby and the legs quickly withdrew. Wonderful...
Made a quick grab then, and took out of spider-leaping distance to complete signing duties. Then back for the quick replace.
Time to head for my last target.

We have travelled from Sydney’s Northern Beaches to Emu Plains for a short four day caching holiday, staying in a park cabin at the Ingenia Nepean River BIG4 Holiday Park at Emu Plains, and are planning to explore around Emu Plains and the areas between Castlereagh and Warragamba. Will be concentrating our efforts on collecting the Penrith geoart caches and the Warragamba geoart caches, most of which we have managed to solve before leaving home, and also hoping to complete a new local Adventure Lab that has appeared since our last visit to the area. May also collect some solved “Band Caches” puzzle caches, and “Suburbs of Penrith LGA” traditional caches, that we happen upon during our travels. This was our 1st find of the day (day 3), and 42nd find of the holiday.
On our way to Warragamba for our day's caching activities, and this LGA cache was to be our first cache stop along the way. Pulled off the road near the cache, then strolled over to GZ for a nice quick find. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. TFTC ws_cachers.

We stayed in Penrith last night after attending our god-daughter's birthday bash, so that gave me the opportunity this morning to run around Penrith this morning collecting the next batch of its suburbs before we head back home to the Central Coast.
A quick find here ... thankfully, I was here after all the kids had arrived at school. Thanks for the hide and for the series ws_cachers.

#6023-Found early in the morning with thomo31. Our second cache wandering the suburbs of Penrith, which last week we were banned from visiting due to lockdown. Another easy find. Thanks
Found with WaywardWoman while out caching today. A short search and soon had cache located. Signed log and placed container below as magnet has detached.
Nice big red belly not far from the cache location, so be careful when looking around. Needed a PAF for this one because I am out of practice and cache blindness takes some time to cure.
Nice to get out and explore Penrith, and what better way to do this than by gocaching. TFTC ws_cachers and thanks for this series.
