A great day collecting lots of solved puzzles, and everything in between.Finishing the day at Panthers Football Club the day before the grand final.Nice quick find with CPI24
Up in Penrith for some long weekend fun with some of the canberra mob. Worried we may get a little rained out but the weather has held and we have had a blast. Great to be able to pick up a bunch of solved puzzles, a ton of ALs, some multis, and anything else we could find. Thanks to the COs for enabling our fun and to GLISS! Minniek, Fitzy, dty, Tankengine, joolay, aquilis, youban, sacada, contestsa. Signed today at CPI24. TFTC

Up with a group from Canberra running around the Penrith area. Signing as CPI24. for Canberra Penrith Invasion. Thanks for getting me out and about ws_cachers
What an awesome day! Tankengine, Youban and I went and had an awesome breakfast at Percy Plunkett Cafe. The food and service was really good, but the coffee was smaller than expected, but not too bad. After that we got some caches before meeting the rest of the gang (fitzy_1965, minniek, Joolay, contesta, Aquilus1, sacada, GLISS! and Nibletricecakes). We dashed from cache to cache, all we aimed for we found and only had a couple of DNFs. After an all day run around happily caching (only breaking for lunch at Zeus Kebab and Pizza House in Cranebrook Village - which hit the spot!), we headed to the Panthers Club for the event and a well earned drink! This cache: Nice to pick up a quicky on the way. Tftc!!!

#1880Having driven up from Melbourne for the Canberra GeoBash Mega, The Welder and I are decided to head up further north for a few nights staying in Umina Beach. But now its time for the long drive home. That doesnt mean that we dont stop for caches along the way. Particularly targeting some new LGAs as we go. Tonights destination is Cowra. A nice quick park and grab here and a new LGA. Thanks for the cache.
Found it!Well, Heymissjo did.I was acutely afflicted with cache blindness here. Its amazing that I can still miss cache on these types of hides - I would have thought that I would have developed some cache sense forged by experience. But it seems not!!This was a win for teamwork!I did my bit by signing us in.Thanks for the smiley and the Penrith LGA.This was our last urban cache in Sydneys outskirts for this trip. Now its time to be blown away by the Blue Mountains, which Ive never laid eyes on

Found but then got muggled after signing the log, so we had to sit in the car wondering what they were up to before we could return the cache
A quick find on the way to feed and water the dog, he seems to like that sort of thing.
one of two drive by caches completed today. Replaced log sheet with a new piece of paper to sign. Replaced as found after signing the log. tftc
Out hunting with frazeydaze chasing caches in the Suburbs of Penrith LGA series. The caches that we found were found quickly while at the dnfs we spent way too much time. TFTC

Quick find. Signed but log very mushy. Dried it out for 10 mins before leaving.
We are on another short (four day) caching holiday in Western Sydney and the Blue Mountains, staying for three nights in a park cabin at the Ingenia Nepean River BIG4 Holiday Park at Emu Plains. Hoping to collect the latest GFA Puzzle, Wherigo, and Letterbox caches that have appeared around Luddenham & Wallacia since our last visit to the area, and will have a go at the new GFA Adventure Lab. Will also be returning to the lower Blue Mountains to visit some previously unexplored caching locations, revisiting areas around Penrith & suburbs that have new or replaced caches, and maybe finish with a visit to the Londonderry area. Photos will be uploaded to some logs on our return to home base.
Today we headed up to Richmond, going via Llandilo and The Northern Road, then returning via Londonderry Road. This was the 2nd of 28 finds for the day (day 3), and 30th find of the holiday.
After a disappointing DNF on a nearby puzzle cache, we arrived at this cache for a nice quick find. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. TFTC ws_cachers.

The cache hunt continued around the western Suburbs of Penrith and this is one of the suburbs we found along with ilook4geo. There was no problem here and a quick find was made. Thanks for this cache placement go to ws_cachers.

Easy find, filling in a day on my calendar. The creek is still up after the rains.
#8417 (1 of 4 today)
Another day this calendar year, another day I need some calendar finds!
Decided to head out west, but little did I know of two momentous events that were to shape my caching day.
One was an excess of water near my first find, the other a chance meeting with another cacher.
Went for four, and got them all. The calendar find gods are appeased!
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
So I approached this one from the south, and the flashing light should have been a clue. Soon, I could see what they were for - not to mention the closed gates. The road was closed due to flooding. But I'm only 2-300 metres from GZ! Nooooooooooooooo!
So went around the long way. The very long way.
And found then that GZ was quite close to the gate on the northern side. Watched plenty of cars turn around.
More importantly from this side I could see the creek - yep no travelling through that, and it's not even up to the 1 metre marker. But it's flowing so fast.
As for the cache, all good. signed, replaced and off to my next target - that I'd driven past getting here the long way.

Passing by and noticed this cache, so stopped off to make a quick find at GZ. With the cache in hand, we signed the log before replacing it as found. The container and log are in excellent condition. Thanks for the cache ws_cachers.

Took the “scenic route” (ie the route with some PnGs to assist with this month’s Peak Challenge) on the way home from a family funeral. Pulling up near GZ, didn’t even need the gps for the smiley.
We stayed in Penrith last night after attending our god-daughter's birthday bash, so that gave me the opportunity to collect the next batch of Penrith suburbs this morning before we head home to the Central Coast.
No problems finding this one, in a spot I'm pretty sure I've previously found one. Thanks for the hide and the series ws_cachers.

Another tour of your LGA. I’m glad you got to explore yours like I did mine in the Blue Mountains.
As a health care worker, thanks to all those who helped get the numbers down by staying in their LGA except for leaving for essential reasons. It made a big difference to the hospitalisation rate.
TFTC.

Well that took forever, thanks to the previous finder I was given a hot clue, thanks to JS and the CO.
Well Lockdown - I'm from a suburb that had no cases, and my LGA is very small, in fact not 5km from home in any direction so yes I was going crazy not being able to get very far. As were my dogs because the stupid council closed the dog parks!
I'm pleased to see quite a few new caches published.
Now I like to get out and see different sights so this morning I headed west for hopefully a few finds and a different view.
When I arrived here I realised it wasn't a different view at all as I'd been here before for a previous cache at this location. Fancy that.
Well I thought it should be easy but with a huge break in caching its like a new hobby now and finding the cache was much more challenging than I expected. Had to check everything at least three times before the cache revealed itself. I was even contemplating a dnf - couldn't let that happen!
