Logs
Found! but as per previous log, did not find the log itself. Must have fallen. Used to walk this street frequently, before we joined the world of geocaching - TFTC!
Recent finders reported the same problem. Cache having no cap or lid. Guess what happened, if no proactive CO maintenance took place? As I lifted the cache, the loose log paper slid out and disappeared into the black hole. As I didnt get a chance to sign a log, this is a DNF. A bluey. Hopefully the CO Mr&Mrs H will perform some TLC and have a replacement cache with a functional cover in place.
Found today as Im staying with my brother nearby. Im sure I looked for this last time I was visiting and couldnt find it for some reason. I did get the shit scared out of me by a lizard when I grabbed the cache though. All laugh at the silly British tourist. The log is staying in there with the cache inverted despite the cap being missing. If I remember and find something to replace the container with, I will as its only down the road from where I am till next week. Simple find and good hint, replaced cache inverted as the cap is still missing, hope log doesnt fall out. TFTC. Needs attention
Found It!A quick find here but the cache looks like it's seen better days. I signed the bit of paper left by GHHH.TFTC
Got this one without leaving the car. Put a bit of paper in as it had no log. TFTC
Find #: 3,714Companions: NoneMuggles: Moving truck next doorWeather: Lovely spring morningCache condition: Log and lid missingAfter running a nearby parkrun I decided to find some nearby(ish) caches. I was able to park opposite GZ, and once at GZ quickly found the container, unfortunately without a log and me without a replacement, so I was only able to take a photo. TNLNDSL TFTC
The container's lid is missing, and also the log (facts that are likely connected!)
Out and about with Tak_Lawrence. Quickly found here. Lid missing and logbook soaked. Managed to write our names on the damp paper but needs attention. Thanks for the cache, Mr&Mrs H#6071 ** Make your way to Dunedin for New Zealands next Mega Event. GCA7ZHD Geo Toroa will be held on NZs Labour Day long weekend 26-27th October 2024 **
Managed to sneak in a few finds after work and before the footy at Homebush. This was a lot quicker than it thought it would be- nice old shop. TFTC!
No luck today. Missed two caches, but that means theyre in a good spot. Thanks for the cache anyway.
Streak Day #3829 - Out with Dave8153 for our cache of the day. Quick find for us today. TFTC
4 January 2024This is find number: 9036Streak Day: 2940Found Today with Snoopy1976, a quick and easy find. ThanksThanks to Mr&Mrs H for placing and maintaining this cache. TFTC
An easy find, as there is no lid I have jammed an object in the container and placed it upside down, that should hold the log temporarily and keep out the rain, thanks.
Out in the area and it was about to rain. I parked across the street from the cute old shop and walked over with my umbrella. After a short poke around, the hint item caught my eye. Like others before me, I found the lid to the container was gone. I was reluctant to put it back unprotected. As luck would have it, there was an unopened bandaid on the ground near GZ. I did my best to stick to around the top of the container and hoping for the best with the coming rain. CO might like to check on it. SL TFTC Cheers.... Gaztek
Easy find at this old shop. Lid missing but replace it horizontally and it will be ok. Thanx
I was just there taking a photo of the shopfront without knowing a cache was around! I spoke to lady nearby and now feel I can’t go back to find the cache as I would look too suss

With two hours to spare I took the ferry across from Huntleys Point to Chiswick for a walk in the area and pick up a few caches.
Tulleys was visible from afar. I love these old shops and the mural reminded me of bygone days. The cache was an easy find. As I left my pen on the other side of the ferry crossing, I took a photo of the cache instead.

Out and about with GeoFeo walking around. This was nearby. Looked in a few locations to make the find. The container is missing a lid but the log is ok at the moment. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC
Found but lid is missing and log book is completely soaked through so giving a photo log.

found! very wet and soggy though. next person please bring replacement paper. thank you
Quick find trying to get two countries in one day. Not sure if ALs count (there was one at Auckland Airport) but I know this will. Lid missing and log too wet to sign, so photo attached instead. Thanks!
#17062 - 2:36:00 PM; In Sydney on a quick trip with the geohoney for some pre-Christmas retail therapy. Stopped off at a familiar retail emporium and after grabbing a bite to eat, I set off for some of the local caches. No problems today and all were found reasonably quickly and were in good order, including this one. Replaced as found after signing the log. TFTC Mr&Mrs H
Easy find with the great clue. Log damp so signed and replaced upside down in its hiding spot so water doesn’t run in.

After Bay to Bay #5, we walked up to this cache. We looked in a couple of wrong spots first, befor spotting where we were supposed to look.
On a streak this morning. So far 3 from 3 found, yay! This was an easy find. TFTC.
Out and about today with Ms Atalanta. We live not far from here, but for both of us it was Terra Incognito. But that's the thing about Geocaching; it takes you to places you usually don't visit. Among the imposing houses (grass castles?) is the shop, and close by the cache.
I disturbed a number of frantic ants when I retrieved the cache.

It's great to see an old shop still in good condition, wonder what it will become, I can envisage a cafe here with original signage maintained.
Thanks for this one Mr&MrsH
Thanks for this one Mr&MrsH
Grabbed a few unfound caches before the rain came. A quick park and grab here. Looks like there is a bit more camo than when the cache was placed.

Found this one today after being in the area to drop some donations off to a local cat shelter. This time I made a quick find where I expected to. Thanks for bringing me here to this historic shop. TFTC
Cute little shopfront that would have many tales to tell. No problem finding and replacing with no one around in this wet. TFTC!

Out this afternoon to grab a cache, and decided this new oner was the best target.
Arrived to a muggle directly across from GZ playing basketball. Wonderful! So checked the hint, realised where it had to be and nonchalantly walked past and made the grab. Kept walking around the corner and out of sight to complete signing duties.
Then, as the rain decided to start back up I reversed the process and replaced it as found.
By the time I was back at the car the muggle had given it up and gone inside as the rain got heavier.
Typical.
Headed home via a store out this way I don't visit too often.

Thought it had het gone missing, on closer inspection today can confirm its still in place.Extreme stealth will be required especially with the close proximity of the near by building site. Happy hunting
Looks like it has gone missing already didn’t even last a week. Starting to think this cache is not meant to be. Will do a proper search later with few to archiving
nav makes it look like it’s in someone’s front yard behind their fence?? we didn’t wanna try and check there

Disappointed and a little disheartened that this cache has gone missing so soon after being placed. Cache will be replaced but possibly in a slightly different place.
I unfortunately DNF which is odd because there is only a limited area to search and it’s a new cache. Unless there’s something I am missing I don’t think it’s there
After taking geodog to his Canine Opthalmologist (yes there is such a thing!) this morning we drove over here to grab a cache for the day. It's been a long time since I've been down into Chiswick.
What a cute, historic shop front. I remember shops like this in the suburbs. I also remember the adds for products sold there being painted on the side of the building. I guess that was the original 'street art'. It's interesting when sometimes they knock an old building down and these ads are revealed on the walls between the buildings.
When I looked at GZ I was concerned that I would not be able to reach the cache. I have a suitable TOTT in the car but that might have looked strange on this busy street. Fortunately I was able to get the cache. Signed the log and took a few photos of history before it disappears.

A quick find near the old shop. I hope the neighbours don't get suspicious. TFTC
Visited Tulley & Sons, and found this cache quickly. OCW Brewmaker. TFTC Mr&Mrs H
What a lovely little shopfront, such a shame it may disappear into this pretty ugly street. Made the grab after dark this evening so no neighbour issues. Didn’t take the wee ladybug. Thanks for bringing me here and placing this cache Mr&Mrs H #1318

PDG wanted a break from work so we headed over the bridge for a short walk then took the scenic way home for this park & grab.
Love the blue tiles on the old shop.
