Worked out and found by The Boofs while out on a drive TFTC. Cool hide.
Two days ago I headed over to the Yorke Peninsula to find some caches of interest, mostly published since my last visit. I had intended to be away and camp for at least one night, possibly two depending on how I felt.As it turns out, the weather has been great, the caching is going well and Ive decided to stay away a third night.Since leaving the Yorke Peninsula yesterday Ive been pretty well just following the compass from cache to cache and seeing where it leads me My focus has been on non-Traditional cache types and Ive ended up in the Barossa Valley, down to the back of the Adelaide Hills, then across to the Murray at Mannum, then up to the Sedan area where Ive camped tonight.Ive been lucky with the caches today, finding most of them without difficulty and with one exception where it was missing, in good order. This was one of my finds for the day.The weather is supposed to change for the worst, so its home tomorrow I think. Thanks OZGrumpy for the cache.
Our doing random caches, quickly solved this one. It looked like there was some bowls comp going on near the courts. At GZ it looked like it was the local horse poo storage the cache container was well camo'd.TFTC!
Found with Jamesta18 today while adventuring the area. We havent been here before. Surprising as we are always in Eden Valley territory 7km down the road here we are in Mount Pleasant plenty more adventures to be had, we will be back to check out the markets and butcher next timeCool hide and concept SL TFTC
Today out and about on 253 of 274 days to get my daily cacher Emerald Using my Garmin Etrex 22X, Garmin Montana 700 and MacBook Air!Thanks for the cacheTFTC
Day 1 of my holiday to the JLW event in Lamroo and then off interstate for a few weeks. Today after a late start to the day I got as far as Walker Flat for the night but still managed to get 20 caches for the day before setting up camp for the night.Great little cache had me for a bit.TFTC OZGrumpy
Travelling with iluvtrekking from our home state WA. Travelling from Nuri to Murray Bridge today. Loving the scenery that we pass as we move through the caches - this is our preferred caching - not suburbs. Thanks OzGrumpy
Staying at Mt Pleasant cp. Walked to the courts, did the sums & cache found & signed. Didnt have to drive - a bonus. Tftc
Cache checked today, everything all good here. Original cache present and where it should be. I added some more camo. FYI - It is at the base of a concrete fence post.
Didnt find it today. After looking at the hint and previous logs we were definitely in the right place. Will return again for another look!
Stopped to grab this one after doing half of the Tungkillo to Springton leg of the Lavender Trail. Luckily I didn't have to walk very far, as I wouldn't have been able to!Another excellent cache from OZGrumpy.Kids have made this area a cubby house, and the cache is quite exposed, but is in excellent condition.TFTC OZGrumpy, caches like this one are a pleasure to find.
Did this cache with naughtybunny after doing a 4.5 hour hike on the Lavender Trail this morning. We had worked out the final location a while ago but they were re-doing the park here and had temporary fencing all around. Now it's all finished. A great spot and love the container. TNLN. Cheers.
After completing the Mt Beevor to Tungkillo leg of the Lavender Trail, Chookster and I decided we had just enough left in the tank to do some local caches.
If our calculations were correct, we were unable to access GZ due to construction fencing. We were pretty knackered by then so it might have been my maths!
Will message the CO to confirm.

Nice straightforward multi to do on the way through and a quick stretch of the legs as well. Tftc
Numbers were calculated at home and today was a quick find at a location that was surprisingly busy.

Took a little while at GZ due to a muggle learning to drive in the area. However having a geopup is a good way to divert attention while we made the grab. We did however scream ‘Wilson’ at one point. Tftc
A rare drive with the muggle Mrs Blackadder , with as usual, the promise of a bakery stop to keep her happy.
Heading to Gawler for a couple of newer published hides, then to the Barossa and ending up around Mount Pleasant where she had had enough and wanted to head home.
All caches were is good condition unless stated otherwise.
Arriving at GZ we found an elderly couple camping just metters away so a stealthily search was made with no success. Rather than raise suspicion we contacted the owner who kindly described what we were looking for and where it was actually situated.
Behind the tree, along there and next to that you should see a ...... covered in ...........
Nope notheing there:( With the offer of replacing for the CO and hanging up the actual prize was located behind "that" one exactly where he said it would be.
Thank you for the cache OZGrumpy Find Number 10100 on 22/12/2022

Horse day today. No tennis. No cricket. Excellent hide.

Found by Mary and David at 11:55. We do enjoy these. In Tanunda to mind the teenage grandchildren. First day in a while we have seen the sun. Our thanks to OZGrumpy.
Found during a drive around the Hills. Made the observations, substituted the number and headed off for the search. Thanks for the cache OZGrumpy!
A pleasant stop here to grab a cache. When my kids were younger, we would often stop at the nearby playground on our way to visit my Sister in Swan Reach.
Quick find. Very nicely crafted cache.

Had a run through the countryside today with goingplaces2 and found a good selection of mostly multi caches with some trads in the mix. All logs were signed and then put back into place. TFTC.
The name we gave to today, while out caching with ilook4geo, was Mostly Multi Monday. This was because our focus was to be on multi caches again. The aim is to gather a collection of at least 1000 multi caches so we can log challenge cache.
This multi was a nice easy one to locate and two more names were stamped on the log page.
Thanks go to OZGrumpy for placing this cache.

I was heading for the hills today to meet up with Doctor Owl and CPwanderer to find some new Adventure Labs in Mount Pleasant and Springton and then pick up the odd cache here or there. We had a great day driving around the area, walking through long lush grass, falling over (me) and partaking of a beaut pub meal to break up the day. [^]
Doctor Owl had already been to the starting coordinates on a previous visit so we headed straight to GZ where we made a quick find. Took longer to get the log out and back in.

Out for the day with CPWanderer and JJ52, mainly aiming at the lab caches that have sprung up in the area. Once that was done there was time for a few normal caches, lunch and more. This was a final Owl had prepared earlier on a trip with Eagle, but she knows better than to test his patience with a backtrack when he is on a mission, so it had to wait until today for the find.
Long weekend in Sedan. Day 5, on the way home.

Another cache hunt on our 2022 South Australian Adventure.
Today we made a very late start enjoying a walk around Mt Pleasant and Springfield before turning our attention to the OTD June series and other caches along our route. We liked this one. Have a fave.
Thanks to all the COs for taking us on this geo-tour. We have enjoyed our time in SA, but it is time to slowly make our way back West again.

What to do on a lovely sunny Public Holiday, go caching of course.
A plan was hatched between a Rat and OzGrumpy.
OzGrumpy picked the Rat up from the Rat's den.
We headed to Williamstown and beyond, to gather smileys and do maintenance.
This was a great day out and about.
A nice easy solve. Real enjoyed finding a well constructed hide.

We went to look for this cache during a previous visit but was thwarted by the Mt Pleasant Show. We returned today and the ground was not occupied. Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find of a well designed and constructed cache. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks OZGrumpy for this cache and the series.
My last morning in the Mount Pleasant area after solving this one on day one of our visit, I decided to walk the short distance from across the road where we have been staying with family to make the find before we head off.
Nice little multi with a cool cache at the end. Fav point awarded
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache OZGrumpy you help make the game what it is today, cheers from WA

Well here we are with Purrfect Di and Jack in Mt Pleasant setting up for the Top Of The Torrens Theatre Group's production of Blithe Spirit... and why not drop back over to this cache.
A nice stealthy replacement cache now in situ and a relatively quick find!

Caching is a very hazardous activity!
Watch out for sand traps, snakes, surprise cliffs, boxing roos, wombats, things falling from trees, bulldust, and floods, and sharp rocks in your tyres
try not to get tetanus from rusty mint tins and don't fall off your ladder...
-- -- -- -- -- -- -- but especially lookout for germs and bugs !!! . [xx(]
Make Travel Bugs the Only bugs you share and pass on
Now that there are no real restrictions - even more important to sanitise and safely distance!!!
Heaps good of all those placing quality caches out and about around the countryside areas,
in sensible safe places especially! - it keeps our game safe, fun, and interesting
Thanks so much for reading all this extra addition to the log word count! There's a challenge somewhere out there, apparently! You win a virtual smiley for the effort and getting to the end of the log Maybe if I worked out where I could do it and go back to normal logs again !

Planned to spend the day at mount pleasant catching up on some left-behind caches, pleased to say finally grabbed this very nice cache TYFTC

Another nicely constructed cache, good job! We initially scouted all the usual caching spots before something caught my eye. Found with schmidtzall, tftc
A pleasant addition to a great series. I did this one old school, parked my car across the road, checked out The Torrens (flowing again at last), admired the cute Men’s Shed and finally eyeballed the necessary courts in their upgraded splendor.
At GZ I had a little trouble getting the cache out of its home - it’s all about getting the angle right, which was always my downfall in real tennis.
A worthy addition to the series, and close to home soon, thanks so much OZGrumpy.

Nice camo.
Like a previous finder we too encountered the dumped horse poo.

A quick find today after a dnf some time ago when the cache was missing!! Great cammo .... a favourite!!
The usual Wednesday Wander for members of Befuddled Puzzle solving group had us heading once again towards Swan Reach in search of the last 50 or so new additions to the ever growing On Your Bike Series. Today it was myself, Blackadders, SA Sewer Rats and Astro. [:o)] Lots of hours doing jigsaws in preparation for today and we found all of the new additions to this series including perhaps a strange First to Find which had a blank log book but had previously been claimed. What can I say - we took turns climbing ladders and trees so everyone joined in the fun.
GENERIC LOGS unless something unusual : here!
But first Astro and I had to get to the rendezvous point at Sedan so of course we had to stop for a cache on the way. - as you do. Normally I would have a go at solving these caches with google maps but the colours threw me. So we stopped and counted and did the calc's. [^] Mmm, back there, should have trusted google. Back we went and spied the well constructed hide easily. Had to negotiate a trailer load of horse poo that had been dumped as a 'cache guardian' to get to GZ. [xx(] FP from me for the hide.
Only one of the three goals from last year achieved. So once again I will trying to get the other two this year. [^] Should be easy as I only have to get two multi caches in July from the lockdown and couldn't get out. [:o)] The other was DNF's that came down from over 50 to the low teens before blowing out again but I really want to see only single a single digit this year.
***Thanks OZGrumpy for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

The last cache for the day for M & M. We had places to be, so we did this in the town that used to host our sons school productions at the hall. We ambled across the bridge, grabbed the numbers, and then had to head backwards to GZ. Lots of horse droppings nearby here, luckily most of it was covered with hay. So not too wafty. The cache hide was easily found by Mark and signed and returned to its spot.

After a quick trip out to Nuriootpa for some supplies found a few multis on the way home, mainly from the Game Set and Match series.
As my home monitor is only B+W [:o)], dropped by to get some figures before heading for GZ.
Once at GZ started looking for the hint but that didn't seem to help. Looked a little further afield, saw something that needed checking and a cache was found and stamped. Was only when home and logging did I realize that the original hide that I was looking for had been removed, necessitating a new hide and hint. Luckily new hide wasn't too far away from the old

Heading south to tackle some geo art near Murray Bridge, picking up Sebastbat and Mattycat along the way, we worked out the coords and set off to GZ, this does not seem to match the clue but could see the spot, the cat sent some photos through to the CO who confirmed it was gone, till next visit TFTC
The object the cache was on has gone. Very sad for the mowing enthusiasts out there. Back soon, sorry for any inconvenience.
No luck after an extensive search!!! Lived half way between the 2 waypoints for 15 years so know the area well!!! On getting to the final GZ nothing resembling the hint was found. Only metal object were the prongs of a forklift attachment for a tractor. This was searched thoroughly with no luck. Phoned a previous finder whose description of the location certainly matched ours but her description of the hint related to nothing we could find anywhere in this park. A disappointing end to a great caching run to the Barossa .... our only dnf!!
No luck after an extensive search with CPwanderer.
Could not find anything to match the hint.

Out for an evening of caching after being cooped up for the last few days, avoiding the heat.
It's dark now and always darker out in country towns, found with earthlight.
A quick find here as I said to Liz, what if it's... Blah, blah, blah? So I looked and there it was, gotta love that when there were so many possibilities here.

After seeing a few new caches pop up this afternoon, we decided to go for a drive and see if we could pick a couple up. Since it was late afternoon, the weather had cooled right down, making for an enjoyable evening drive. This was the last of the set targeted tonight, only being a short drive between these. Arrived at the posted and collected the required info. Made our way to GZ to find an interesting piece of history. A few laps around and had the cache found. Signed the fresh log and replaced. Thanks for bringing us here tonight, was an enjoyable outing.
