I was thinking is this dirty enough? Oh right, you get super sweaty and hence dirty. Then yes it is. Another cache in perfect condition. Great spot for a quick break and a photo of my boots for the Dirtbag team. Thanks for this awesome spot.
Went on a short stroll up Mount Feathertop and back today. Made the short detour off the trail to this one on the way back. Great cache in a great location. Thanks for the cache.
I was bitten by a snake on the way to the top but couldnt stop. Had to catch the westpac chopper out. CACHING STOPS FOR NO MAN!!!!!
I am writing this log after we have finished the return walk to the top. Its just as well I did it on the way there because theres no way I wouldve attempted it on the way back. As per usual with a dirtbags cache it took me to the Heights. Always pleasant to find of well-maintained container with lots of souvenirs for the Finder. Dropped a pathtag and a trackable. Also collected a sticker and a pin (thank you). Well worthy of a favourite point. Many thanks DGS AUS for providing this game piece for our enjoyment. And thanks for sharing the highlights of your region .
Found it! Amazing how much foot traffic was along the Razorback this morning. Most of it was well away from GZ but I noticed there was one visitor here already this morning. So that’s where Riddell was off too after pancakes!! Certainly no sign of him except his autograph when I arrived. It didn’t take too long to spot the cache. I enjoyed a quick morning tea, took a couple of photos including a foot selfie before returning the cache to its hiding place and set off on the next part of my adventure. TFTC SL and took a sticker! My last ‘one more’ cache for the 1700m challenge cache for this high country visit!
Not too dirty!
I like finding a decent cache in a spectacular spot and this was it.
Awesome!

you dirtbags have treasures everywherewe are used to see that enticing crop of dirtbag treasures an hour or so east of melbourne but now we seem to have found your treasure across the breadth of the state:in the valleys behind bullerin mineshafts in old gold countryon cliffs overlooking bass straitout in the flatlands of the little desertwe do not envy your maintenance runsas for this treasure:now we know you dirtbags are going softthis is too easy a walkwe didnt even get wetwe didnt even rip our trousershow about a challenge next time?
Found on the way to feather top. Did the legals and replaced as found. TFTCM.

This one certainly got the heart rate up on a summer morning. Glad it was cooler here than in Harrietville. The search at GZ was a lot speedier than our ascent, but the views were well worth it. A great spot. TFTC, a fav from us.
Heading out to Mt Feathertop today and the weather was supposed to be ok but typical alpine conditions didn't pay much attention to the forecast as it was quite foggy so no views!! Anyway it wasn't windy so that was a bonus. We were taking friends with us so I introduced their 15yo to geocaching.
Found the cache in good condition and then off to catch up with the others. Plenty of walkers coming out on this first weekend of the school holidays

Splendid view from the Razorback today and certainly more impressive than the one on the couch! Perfect weather so with the planets aligning i finally had an opportunity to head out via this one Enroute to Diamantina. Can’t say I usually detour off the track to this nice spot. The track all the way has not long been severely pruned and I can’t help wondering if that’s in preparation for the Hotham to Falls Crossing that will see a shelter and or accommodation built somewhere on the Diamantina Spur and likely in the saddle. Hordes of walkers were coming back from an overnight at Federation so I can’t help thinking weekends are to be avoided. But it’s also great that people are experiencing the great outdoors. TFTC and the fun
Yay! My first, first! Found at 18:03 - And well worth the effort! I’d recently taken up Geocaching as a way to get off the couch and back into the outdoors while recovering from serious injury. I would hobble a few paces from the car to retrieve drive byes and have slowly, patiently improved and regained function.
I love the Razorback and it seems rather fitting that I am now able to retrieve this cache. Did this solo with PLB and trekking poles. Nice stickers. I’ve so missed this hike and this view! TFTC!! Thank you for being part of my re-entry into the hills and towards my mountain goals. Super stoked
