Found on a weekend trip with the boys.TFTCCheers and Happy HuntingSouthern Cross Caching
Out today to tackle the rest of the on yer bike series. Some of my finds today were out in the open and some show signs of wildlife having had a go at them. I added extra log sheets where needed. Several of caches have been replaced and look like throwdowns as they were different style containers and had new log sheets with only a few logs on them. Had to use my TOTT on a couple ( only just big enough). Thanks to SAGEO_5 for this series. TFTC
Found with The Rats, Hoojar and Wilbert67. Another big trip some time in the making to get some good numbers. Plenty of solving and working out final coordinates, packing lists and arranging transport from New South Wales to some of the mallee country of South Australia. As always plenty of laughs and great company. As always a variety of types and hides.Unless otherwise flagged cache found all ok. Thanks for placing these series.TFTC!
The temptation of finding nearly 1,000 caches on a road trip in South Australia was proving all too tempting. So a date was set, flights were booked, and a car was hired. The Rats, Steeba, Wilbert67 and I were off to tackle the On Ya Bike series, and surrounding caches. Cache logs were either stamped, or signed GG (Gong Gangsters). We covered a great many kilometres, finding caches and enjoying the scenery. We camped under the stars. We enjoyed cold weather, rain and a winter heat wave. We cached in the dark. We cached in the light. We found some ordinary caches, and some brilliant ones.As is so often the case with our trips, the banter was constant, the jeering persistent, and the company excellent. Mind you, it is a lot easier to listen to Rugby League on the radio in the great State of New South Wales! This boiler-plate log does not take anything away from some of the excellent caches that we found, and I am appreciative of all of the cache hiders for their efforts in placing and maintaining all of these hides. We all ticked over mini Milestones during this trip, but notably I found my 20,000th cache. A Milestone I am very happy to have shared with my mates; mates that I have found thousands of caches with previously. Heres to many more caching adventures!Cheers
Ahh a long weekend caching in South Australia with the Gong Gangsters is way too good an opportunity to pass up. With dates set and leave passes granted we managed a 4-day caching spree - targeting the On ya bike series. The variety of finds was wide and diverse, we travelled with our own totts. Our finds are logged with our Gangster stamp or GG on the smaller logs. Thanks to all the COs who provided us with a great weekend, filled with laughter, banter and much more that cant be said. Thanks to my fellow caching buddies - steeba, Hoojar and Wilbert.TFTC

Find # 15083Been a while since I've been out solo for a long trip. But things change over time. And I'm living the past.So with some time off work, I've jumped the border wall to chase down some long trails in South Aussie... don't know how many I'll get. But I've got quite a few downloaded. I do have a short hit list ( of 2) caches to help with a challenge. All others are just for the Adventure and countryside views. Armed with all the necessary TOTT from tweezers and magnet grab to 6m ladder and 8m fishing pole. I believe I'm prepared for all that I'll come across. (Just had to leave the Kayak at home )Day 3. Early start and had first grab at 0601HZig Zagging around pipeline roads. Tackling some climbs and the corrugations. By 1000H I had finally completed the series West of Swan Reach with a couple others thrown in for good luck ... then it was time to hit the trail back east, go for broke n see what I can achieve for the day. TFTC SAGEO_5
A week of camping with Hellyonfire and Tonka had us driving around collecting caches as we went. We targeting a few solved on your bikes while we were at it. TFTC

Day 1 of 3. In the area to complete the bike series which had been added to since our last visit with the same teams back in April 2021.We completed 2 of the new bikes along this series. We stamped the log as 'The Mob' to save space and time.'The Mob' this time included:- FurfacesLL, Rapidlywild, feathertop, GoodLook, TheDame, LB, and ourselves. Signed and replaced as found. Many thanks for placing this cache, SAGEO_5, for us and others to find.
After several days at the Canberra Mega is was time to reunite with the team of 2021 and hit the remaining 400 odd bike caches in SA.We left the overnight accommodation in Mildura at 7am and made our way into the Riverland area and beyond. A couple of challenge caches whetted our appetite before we consolidated resources into three cars and set off. We completed 2 sets, 254 caches today in a couple of stints. The weather was perfect for caching and all roads travelled on were suitable. All caches bar one that had obviously blown away were found. We replaced the missing cache with a spare red container on board. Lots of poles, ladders and some free climbs but mostly roadside caches easily found.Logs stamped as The MobThank you so much for the series!
Plans were made for the team to get back together to finish the on your bike series and whatever other series peaked our fancy. We organised it to happen after the Canberra Mega and travel in a convoy back to SA, safety in numbers they say.Our convoy consisted of feathertop, GoodLook, LB, Rapidlywild and us then meeting up in Mildura with The Drovers. The convoy joined together this morning to head off with the On your Bike series in our sights. Logs were all stamped with "The Mob" stamp as that is what we had previously used and it was the old team back together to finish them off. We had awesome weather for the journey and all caches were found in good order. Thanks for the series SAGEO_5 and thanks to The Mob for a fun adventure.
Plans have been in place for a little while now about a convoy from the Canberra Mega to head over to SA and finish off what currently stands of the On Your Bike series. Today being day 2 of the trip away, todays convoy consisted of GoodLook, TheDame, feathertop, LB, The Drovers, FurfacesLL and myself. After departing Mildura this morning, our target was 2 of the bikes on the series. We made our way along the solved coordinates in a nice convoy. Logs have been signed using "The Mob" stamp being we started the series as the mob and we returned with the same teams to complete it. It was a nice clear day and we had fun marking them off as we claimed each one. Thanks for the cache placement and maintenance SAGEO_5 and thanks FurfacesLL for another fun trip away
TFTC SAGEO_5 your cache On your Bike #872 that we found today. We moved on from Sedan this morning to camp at Swan Reach for a night., Our aim was to find the On Your Bike caches that were easier accessible from Swan Reach. These caches were released after out last visit in 2022. After setting up camp we headed out just before midday with Wollaston and MeandDe . A successful day even though the temperature was getting a bit high. Find Count: 18824
After a week of caching around Adelaide incorporating The Great Leap Forward event, HansandLinda, MeandDe and I moved camp to Bowhill to capture some targeted caches. Honeysucker accompanied me as I tackled this one today. Another great day for caching. TFTC SAGEO_5
We're camped near Sedan with friends and this afternoon we had a little time to pick up a few of the On Your Bikes nearby that will fill in some D/T spots. This one will help with a future loop. Thanks for find #5531TNLN
Out and about again today to nab a few more of the On Your Bike series. It's a good thing the ferry operator changes a lot as we seem to be going back and forth quite a bit lately. All but 3 caches were found today - the 3 not 'found' were sighted but we need a ladder for them so will borrow one to claim these caches. Thanks to SAGEO 5 for providing us with another busy day of caching.tftc#8466
Out on the road again to do another On Your Bike geoart, this time with GSEL and Infoterret, so we signed or logs as GITS, (GSEL, Infoferret and the Seagnoid), being the bunch of right gits that we are.Seeing lots of Kangas today, and guite a few teenage Roos. Many thanks for the cache
Day 2 Tiz13 still loves her jigsaw puzzles but ...How many bike jigsaw puzzles is too many?????????? They did start driving me nuts...????? And any future ones will instantly remind me of this expedition Day 1 went so well that the Adventure Bound group aka Tiz13 and echocage1 DARKSIDEDAN and Loci612 thought that it would be a great idea to try to get a PB of 400 with these on your bike caches. So the shenanigans started early and ended late as we kept pushing until we finally got there...logs signed or stamped AB or ABG (Adventure boys/Gals ) depending on who signed (don't ask) I signed the caches I found with ABAdventure Bound ??All caches found, some quicker than others, some higher or lower than expected, a few offered us a challenge that we took turns in accepting. All in all, a very successful interesting fun day 2 that saw a few of us getting bitten by various insects and almost a snake..
#14,310. Infoferret and I came over to South Australia to attend the Leap Day mega event in Adelaide. We are now doing some caches up in the area NE of Adelaide. Today we are travelling with another geobuddy from New Zealand - the Seagnoid. He was staying in Gawler so we headed off before 6am in the dark to pick him up (we are staying at Lyndoch) and then drove by a variety of back roads to Sedan. The plan today is to do a full wherigo bike east of Swan Reach. After picking up a few trads along the way and then a ferry ride we finally arrived at the main event. TS had sorted out this series so we coat-tailed on his hard-yards back in NZ. Today the mission was to find them before the heat of the day fried our brains, the insects nibbled our feet and remembering that Oz has snakes. Signed the logs today as GITS for GSEL, Infoferret and the Seagnoid. Thanks SAGEO_5 for hiding this superb piece of geoart here.
Just start off and then the adventure carries your way.- **On your Bike - Day 2** -**SIGNED AB!***Loci612 / DARKSIDEDAN / Tiz13 / echocage1*Yesterday was a trial run to see what this series was like, and how quickly we might be able to get through it! We managed to pick up almost 1/4 of the caches that day, with extra time in the late afternoon to do some tougher ones as a reward! So we agreed that today we would be able to shoot for 400 in a day if we were more focused on the series itself! It ended up being a 14 hour day of caching starting at 7:30am. That did include one break for dinner at Swab Reach Pub, where we regained our energy and contemplated whether we had met the goal. We came to a conclusion that we potentially miscounted and were a small handful of caches short, so we went back out and picked up some harder ones to round off the total, not finishing until 9:30pm at night! What an epic series, 10 years playing this game and I doubled my previous most in a day, just like that! Huge thanks to SAGEO_5, but mainly to the individual persons involved with this account and setting up this epic series!
Caching today with GSEL, Infoferret and the Seagnoid - Logs signed as GITS as it seemed appropriate. Apologies for the mostly generic logs.TFTC SAGEO_5 for placing and maintaining this series.I would like to show my respect and acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land, and their continuing connection to it. I wish to pay my respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past, present and emerging.
Road tripped to Adelaide for theLeap Day Mega, caching all the way and trying to fulfil various challenges. This cache-which challenge/why? on your bike seriesTeamed up with Darkside Dan, Loc1612 and Tiz13 to find as many of these as we could. Early start each day and going hammer and tongs all day to achieve our goals. All caches sought were found.Logs signed AB!Adventure boys and girls!TFTC
After attending the mega yesterday and coming to this area to find a D5/T5 last night our plan for today was to see if we could find a whole grid of D/T rated wherigos. This meant a whole lot of toing and froing as we zipped from one cache to another. We have never driven past so many caches before but with very limited time here we had to be choosy in which ones we stopped for. In saying that, during the morning I did slip in several more than we had planned to do as I just couldn't resist. Unfortunately I did not make a list of which order we found them, just that we drove out this side first and worked our way back towards Swan Reach. Therefore they may be logged out of order, but the ones I log for today were all found today. We did not realise we were supposed to have a ladder and a pole to retrieve these caches, we had the pole but no ladder, thank goodness I have a gk who is incredible and is nimble enough to climb the trees where the pole would not work.I apologise for the cut and paste logs, but I am not creative enough to write something about each cache, and they really are a bit of a blurr as we found so many caches during our time in Adelaide.Thank you for the hours and hours and hours of puzzle solving, thankfully I had months to get these sorted, then all of a sudden I did not have to stress about them anymore, just had to wait to come and find some of them. Hopefully one day we might get back to find the rest.Thank you so much for placing all of these wonderful caches and thank you for all the smilies
A Leap Year Mega draws us to Adelaide. Today's our intrepid group is working the On Your Bike caches which came out within a few days of our leaving this area in 2022! Bummer!!We are using the Acronym 5 for QLD to sign the log sheets. As this is a bulk GSAK logging, this is a generic log.It was a pleasant drive through that countryside, and we were pleased to find all the caches on our list. So, log signed and cache replace as found on 26th February 2024. TFTC, SAGEO_5.
We are one our way to Adelaide for the leap Year Mega. After an early start from our overnight accommodation, we set off to find the caches on our target list. All caches were found and signed as "5 for QLD" for our traveling group of hatzofff (myself), RoddyC, Imbunda, Snickersallan and grannysmith1947.Today we attack the remaining On Your Bike series which were published in 2022 just after we had left the area and found all the others.
An early morning start after our overnight stay. I am traveling with my friends, hatzofff, RoddyC, Snickersallan and grannysmith1947. We are signing all logs as "5 for QLD" to save space. All caches were found, signed and replaced as foundToday we have all our TOTTs ready. My retired old body did well - kept up with everyone. What a long tiring and exciting day.
TFTC smile 18662 Out and about on a lovely day Having a great time finding a few caches heading to Adelaide for a few weeks then on our way to Canberra . Signing as 5 for QLD - Hatzofff Snickersallan RoddyC Imbunda. What a great team we made and lots of laughter and fun. We used our TOTTs many times today.Thank you SAGEO_5 for placing this cache for our enjoyment [:X]
On our road trip from QLD to Adelaide for the Mega event and after a pleasant stay in Loxton we headed out to complete the remainder of the OYB series that we didn't get to do on our previous visit to SA.Our logs were signed as 5 for QLD to speed up the process and also to save space in the log sheets.Special thanks to SAGEO_5 for placing this awesome series, we thoroughly enjoyed finding these caches and using our different ToTs.
Apologies up front for the nearly generic logs for this series. Cherry picking select WIGs on our way to the Riviera regionIt was good to put some $Qld into the local community. Expectantly the alcohol dispensaries got their share and if the feed troughs remained opened, there would have been more expended on food. Admittedly that was solely the fault of the BOLD07's invasion team, coming in late to Waikerie when all good citizens eat on time and get to bed early. Last night we did neither. So back to the bike race. Yesterday we got the cars blooded with plenty of bull dust chasing some girl called Anna to the west of here and this morning's multi world tour. Today and for the foreseeable future, we're putting on more dirt layers onto the car and breathing in that great South Aust dirt! Thanks SAGEO_5 for a tremendous effort with the placement and maintenance of the bike series.
Continuing on with my South Australian caching tour and the mad collection of caches in the state. I am again with the BOLD 7 and today it is going to be a mad assault on as many as we can get of the On your bike series. We are working from our digs down and first of collecting the around the world series and then heading towards sedan for the bikes and a few others as we pass along. There is so much to do and in such close proximity. It is surprising as to how well these caches are placed and have remained in place. It was to stop off and collect the caches and the traffic was a little hectic at times but manageable. Thanks for setting up these caches and maintaining the series. All caches were signed as BOLD 7 and replaced as found. The generic log signing is to save log replacements
GC9NXB6 On your Bike #872A group of us are down from Darwin and Brisbane in preparation of the leap year event.Today was day 1 of hitting the bikes. To save space in the logs as signed as the BOLD7. Was meant to be BDLD7 but something got lost in translation.TFTC SAGEO_5
With our group BOLD7 entertaining ourselves as we head north to explore the country. Fab day collecting bikes and other menagerie! . Thanks to the SA cachers for awesome variety of caches.
How very exciting the big trip has finally arrived! Down from Brisbane with a host of other geo friends with plans aplenty, enough to almost see us needing to extend or make a return visit. Our geonick for the trip is BOLD7 which is guaranteed to save the log paper for the 7 individual members of the team. As we make our way around sadly there wont be time for the usual individual logs and therefore just the old generic log will have to do. With little extra notes here and there if needed. Thank you for your cache which has added to my wonderful caching holiday.
Today was all about the 'On Your Bike' series. Out and about collecting selected smilies on a beautiful sunny day. Signed as BOLD7. Thanks for hiding and maintaining the series.
As it is our last day at the Sedan end of the series we will cherry pick the caches that we need for our DT grid, or for challenges. All caches were found today .Tomorrow we move to Loxton and we will start from the other end.Goodbye to the Swan Reach ferry, and the stone buildings in ruins that are a part of the unique scenery of this area.TFTC SA-GEO
Another happy reptile. This mornings mission was the Straya geo-art and challenge caches. This afternoon I make a start on On My Bike series. Sandyofthesea loved doing the jigsaws and I am really happy to be out here. Its a huge effort to place and maintain such a large amount of geocaches. The geocaching community members are awesome!! Thank you!Staying in an ATCO hut at the Swan Reach pub tonight as our geo-Prado with roof top tent is still in WA. I pick it up next week ready for some more epic journeys.Solo caching in the Murray Bridge and Tailem Bend-Karoonda and Swan Reach area for a few days.Been in SA for about a month now, seeing new sights and finding plenty of caches too. SAGEO_5, I found On your Bike #872 today. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.* * * * * * *SAs Leap Year Event - GCA1DNA - keep the date free - 29th February 2024. Keep looking up!
Stamped as PUZZLDTeam consists of Ronice88, Weirdobiker, Contesta, DeJavu, Search 4, Kbucky & myself Bounty Trackers. On a 5day (maybe more) caching expedition with On Ya Bike series as the main objective then on to the Paddle steamer series we are all staying in Nildotte for 3 nights then moving up to Loxton for another 2 nights. With events at either end. And hopefully a few caches placed before 2010 will also be on our hit list. Lots of fun & laughs had along the way and lots of car doors opened & closed. Thanks for placing and maintaining the series.
Find # 9471On my way to Mildura to meet up with some caching friends to begin our epic On Your Bike series adventure. Picking up some counties, oldies, and other specials along the route to add to my tally and to stretch the legs. ??This was a quick and easy find and ?? here as PUZZLD! at On your Bike #872 today with Ronice88, kbucky, De Ja Vu, Bounty Trackers, Search4, and weirdobiker. ??Thanks so much for the many caches SAGEO_5 and of course for giving me a reason and incentive to get out here, and to experience this part of the world in a different light ????
How fabulous and mind boggling is this monumental geoart! On a multi project in the true sense of the word far from home base which is at higher altitude. The project idea to embark on the OYB series with a group of likeminded geobuddies AKA PUZZLD had its mad genesis a few months ago - what better way to attempt it!Travelling with contesta, kbucky, dj vu, search4, bounty trackers and weirdo biker over a few days mixing and matching skills with good humour and camaraderie. Thanks a zillion to the COs for the variety of caches and challenges. Im imagining a recovery session after this exhausting marathon!
We set out early today to try to start this geoart series. We had a great day searching and signing logbooks as Pzzld. Solving these jigsaws was initially during covid times and dreaming of ways to escape Victoria. Caching as a group in SA was a celebration of our collective freedom. Thanks for the caches.
We are in SA with a group of like minded people to do this series as team Puzzld which consists of myself, Ronice88, contesta, de ja vu, search4, kbucky and Bounty Trackers. Lots of caching fun over the next few days
We, the Puzzld group, as in kbucky, Weirdobiker, de ja vu, Ronice88, search4, Bounty Trackers, and contesta are in SA to ride out the OYB bike series. Thanks to SAGEO-5 for all the work to place and maintain these caches. Such amazing geoart in a stunning location. Great coords. Love to see the red and white but hopefully its a black & white weekend!Cheers
Found during an epic long weekend of geocaching with some likeminded geofriends collectively known as Puzzld. #1 of Search 4 really enjoys online puzzles and started working on these puzzles quite some time ago. I also thank this series for giving me something to do during a 2 week solo COVID hotel quarantine. Thanks for the series that tempted me to drive interstate from ACT to complete.
Travelling Australia in our caravan since February 2014.Staying a few days at Swan Reach. Grabbing whatever caches we can. Ohh I was reminded today how many hours we spent solving these jigsaws! TFTC SAGEO_5

Day 2 of our attempt to find the On Your Bike Series.
On a magnificent day we headed east to work our way up from Greenaway Road to the highway.
Different scenery this time, lots of caches hidden at rock piles.
It helps that all the 6” containers are bright red with a white lid, making them easier to spot, especially when up trees.
Logs signed as CIL23 for Cybergran V, Icybeetas and LaidlayM&M
Mark and Melissa did the majority of the tree ones but Ian made good use of his ladder too.

Nicely hidden by rocks. Signed as CIL23 (Cybergran V, icybeetas and LaidlayM&M) while teaming up for a ride On Your Bike. Sorry about the copy and paste – we have made specific comments on many caches in the series but by no means all.
Out and about beyond the Barossa uni and Medusa and southern cross caching. .. climbing a few trees, pole fishing getting on the bike and generally running amok.

Today we targeted the latest section of the ‘On your Bike’ series. fitzy_1965, albida33 & I signed as MAF or FAM to save room.
Another section that came out not long after we were here last time. Much easier than the other two times given that it was not January and not pushing 40 degrees! We took turns in using the TOTT’s required or physical climbing. Definitely a nice variety along the way.
All caches were found quickly and easily unless otherwise mentioned.

Southern Autumn adventure Day 17. Post Mega South East SA trip Day 11. Today's Fitzy_195, MinnieK and albida33 with logs signed as F.A.M. or similar, headed out to start the main attraction in this area of the trip which is the On Your Bike Series. We have been here before, so there are only the two newish sections to be done. We did one section before lunch and the other after a quick trip to Swan Reach. All the locations had been un-puzzled and determined before we arrived, so it was just a matter of locating the cache, and in these sections there were several that required one tool or another to retrieve, even if one of the tools was a climber. We finished he first day with a run along the back roads for a few of the more remote caches in the area before dinner at th van park.
Thanks for the cache SAGEO_5

Rutherglen Mega and South Australia Trip Day 16. Today we headed out early to - for the third time - finish the On your Bike series. minniek and I did 1-100 in January 2021 and 101-752 in December 2021. At least this trip it wasn't 40+ Degrees !! This was one of the main aims of our trip to South Australia this time around. It was yet another great fun day of caching. Opening and closing two containers at virtually every cache took it's toll, but works very well in keeping the logs dry. This was the next find of the day, and all were quick finds once at GZ even if we had to deploy a TOTT. Signed, replaced, and then we headed off to the next one on the list.
Thanks SAGEO_5 !!

My target today was to get On Your Bike trail and other nearby caches. Met some fellow cachers doing the trail also. Rain held off which was good.
Our final full day staying at Murray Bridge had us exploring the area even further afield.
The weather has turned quite mild after initial heat when we arrived, and so was much more conducive to getting out and having some good outdoor adventures.
Today, we deployed tree fishing poles, ladders and did plenty of free-tree climbing as well.
We have only made a small dent into the many wherigos in this series.
We’ll be back!
We enjoyed exploring dusty country roads, spotting the kangaroos and lizards that seem to love crossing the roads.
The hides are varied, which makes for so much fun.
We even managed a couple of multis nearby also.
A wonderful trip around this part of the Murray.
Thanks SAGEO_5,
Domsky

The Green Geckos and I have made the journey South. To specifically target this most awesomely large caching theme.
Unfortunately we aren’t retired as yet so only have a few days to work our way through as many of the better D/T ones we need for challenges & Loops. ( you know the story…..)

Muggle65 and l had a few days off after Christmas so we drove for a couple of days to grab a few bikes. We chose DTs we needed which were some low ones for the Muggle. Thank you for the fun
Found this cache while out caching with Tassie trekkers. Goosenegg and stainless steel rat.
We managed to complete the outstanding On Your Bike caches.
Thank you for the cache.
All caches stamped with "Team Tassie"
November 2022 was planned as a trip to the Mega in Melbourne, so we flew from Hobart to Adelaide to find quite a few caches that we had missed last time. Some great caches were found, but the planned boat trip was canceled due to the weather. No matter the showers we found quite a few caches on the trip (Around 600) including a number with high Terrian values.
The drive-through down the Murray river on the NSW / Victoria border showed the impacts of the current floods. A number of caches planned were canceled due to the flooding. Unfortunately, many of these caches will have been lost to the flood. The Mega, as per the whole week, was on and off a wet time, even so a number of caches were still found with Goosenegg, Stainless Steel Rat, Whitewebbs and Tassie Trekkers

We headed to Waikerie where we stayed at the caravan park and used this as a base to do the caches within this area. We teamed up with gooseandegg, stainless-steel-rat and Budgietas to do this series. This section kept us on our toes with a variety of hides at various elevations
We signed the logs as Team Tasmania, cache and contents were good.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

We had a few nights based in Waikerie and teamed up with Tassie Trekkers to complete the 400ish extra On Your Bike series that had been published since our last visit. Most were found easily and in good order. A couple needed a bit of TLC which we took care of to the best of our abilities.
It’s become a tradition to fly to a Mega via somewhere else so Stainless steel rat, budgietas and I flew from Hobart to Adelaide a week before the big event and, after a few days around the city, worked our way up along the Murray (where we could due to flooding) via Waikerie, Mildura, Swan Reach and Echuca before heading down through Shepparton to Whittlesea where we caught up, and cached with, a few other teams including Whitewebbs, 1toolman and icybeetas.
Thanks for all the caches.

On our way to the mega and went via SA just so we could finish off the OYB series, We did these with TT and marked our territory with a stamp that said Team Tassie, mostly of the caches we found in good order and those couple that weren't we fixed up as best we could with what we had to hand.
All found now well till some more come out anyway!
Another year, another Victorian Mega, so where do we fly into, Adelaide like you do, after a few days in the city we ventured out into the wilds of SA before heading Northeast towards the border (You remember the name of the town, don't you?) before crossing over we teamed up with Tassie Trekkers and we all finished off the OYB series.
Our attempts at a few caches as we moved South that were near rivers were as half expected we were thwarted by floods so we didn't get to those but added the odd on in here and there.
At long last we arrived in Whittlesea for the Mega late in the evening of Friday 11th and after a quick event headed to our accommodation for the next few days. While in the area we explored the area finding caches all over the place and we even got to meet up with our Victorian ex Tassie cacher 1Toolman who traveled up from down South to join us for the day
Thanks for the cache.

Had a fun day with goingplaces2 with another bike to put together. All logs were signed with both names and the containers were then replaced ready for the next cacher to find. It was a good day. TFTC.
Another day meant there was another bike on the program. So we headed off to find as many components as we could and managed to successfully put this bike together with no missing pieces. Thanks go to SAGEO_5 for putting this geo art on the map and thanks for placing each cache.
*Another big geocaching trip to Australia with woolwood9.*
Our main focus was on this "On Your Bike" Wherigo series but of course we couldn't resist many stops on the way plus other good trails!
**Really appreciate the effort put into this cache series.**
We put a lot of hours into solving and planning.
*Thank you for adding to our enjoyment - we must be keen as we brought our collapsible ladder and tree fishing pole over on the plane with us!!*
With the flooding and rain it was 6 long days to visit them all and many were not easy finds. Only 2 of the tree climbs were too high for us to get and 3 other caches only were not able to be located, so overall a great trail with mostly very good logs & containers.
*This section had a lot of showers of rain but fine spells as well. I took a tumble when a tree branch broke and I hit the ground quite hard!*

Thanks to all the cache owners for their efforts in placing the hides.
This series was the main reason for our trip.
Enjoyed it immensely, Co-ords were great, containers were great and relativity easy to find (but not always easy to retrieve)
The weather was changeable having a couple of days of dodging the downpours.
All completed in six days.

Logging a find as part of the beta tester crew for this giant geoart series. A lot of work has gone into putting this series together. Thanks to SAGeo05 and your helpers.
The cache was found in the last place we looked, which as usual was not the first place we looked. Thanks for placing a fun cache guys. We do love your work. We signed the logbook. Of course we did that is way we play this game. Cache in pretty good condition for the cache age.
I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count.
This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and a Samsung S8. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs...
Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun.

Like Millicent many plans had been hatched to get to the bike but lock downs and or lock outs had thwarted all efforts. Realising people's schedules the Millicent and Bike raids were separated. This time we elected to drive and pick up a number of LGA’s along the way. The team consisted of B@W, Crash 2079, PPE and Tardis 0061 so logs were often signed as BCPT which could also stand for Bike Cycling Power Trail amongst other things.
We had a few other targets along the way and plenty of TOTT between the Jeep and DB including the inflatable yak often known as BD2.
We did a bit of community maintenance along the bike including those that had dropped for some reason from their lofty heights. Generally we could see the original cable ties so could restore them. Wet and flooded conditions made things tricky at times including the dirt roads and the raid was on and off. Some days we couldn’t dry off until night time making for a potentially grumpy cyclist. Plenty of emus around the Hay plans and a few Roos here and there plus a number of hares along the bike doing their version of being a speedy bunny. Despite the conditions, the bunch executed the plans pretty well. Certainly, a mammoth effort to put out so many caches and hopefully the community helps with the bulk of the maintenance. TFTC.

Caching is a hazardous activity!
Keep a lookout for sand traps, snakes, surprise cliffs, boxing roos, wombats, things falling from trees, bulldust, and floods,
try not to get tetanus from rusty mint tins and don't fall off your ladder...
-- -- -- -- -- -- -- but especially lookout for germs and bugs !!! . [xx(]
Try to keep Travel Bugs as the only bugs you share and pass on
Now there's no real restrictions - even more important to sanitise and safely distance!!!
Really good of all those placing quality caches out and about around the countryside areas,
in sensible safe places especially! - it keeps our game safe, fun, and interesting
Thanks heaps for reading all this addition to the log word count! There's a challenge somewhere out there, apparently! You win a virtual smiley for the effort and getting to the end of the log

This puzzle was challenging and on completion, the appropriate tool gave us the required coordinates. Today we spent our third consecutive day looking for caches in the On Your Bike Series, finding all we looked for. Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks SAGEO_5 for the cache.
A big day caching as part of the mystery randoms (Sir Spectre, mogni, JJ52, Michells&hound, tallbikestan, CP Wanderer, SpidermonkeysMum, GizmosGang). Some of us ended up with just over 400 finds for the day. TFTC SAGEO 5
The JAMS team ( JJ52,Allister w, Mogni, Michells&hound and sir_spectre ) where out for there usually monthly caching adventure. This time the latest 3 bikes of the " On your bike series ". The ladies of the team with others had gone through and solved all the wherigo's. Since we planned to do 396 wherigo's plus a few others on the way home we invited Tallbikestan as well plus CPwanderer, Gizmo's Gang and SpidermonkeysMum. We all meet at murray bridge and headed out together from there. We free climbed trees, climbed 3.8 and 6.2 meter ladders plus sometimes climbing off the top of them, surprising no " tree fishing " was done today but we did find half a dozen higher T caches on the ground. No snakes sighted but did see a few lizards, had to wait for a few kanagross to cross the road and a emu decided to become a road block at one point. All logs stamped today as " Mystery Randoms ". Some of us parted company after the " 2nd bike " ( since they had dodne it before ) but the rest of us grinded on to the very " long " end of the trail. We finished the series at dusk and didn't need to turn on the torches. The caches that torches were used was after the wherigo series and only half a dozen was found on route to the sturt highway and then home.
A big caching day was planned with the Mystery Randoms, JJ52, allister w, mogni, sir_spectre, Michells&hound, tallbikestan, CPwanderer, Gizmo's Gang and SpidermonkeysMum so that we could finish all the Bike Wherigos. [^]
After many hours spent solving the puzzles and working out coordinates we all met at Murray Bridge then headed out to the bikes. It was a beautiful day for caching and we found most of the caches easily with a few that required a bit more time and a TOTT or two.
All in all a good day spent with friends which always makes for a fun time.
