Heading back to Canberra from Healesville today and this looked like a great place for a detour. It was well worth the stop. A beautiful area and we would love to come back and explore further. There seem to be lots of great hiking trails in the area. The falls were very impressive. We enjoyed the walk around and everything was really well signposted, interesting history. We even saw some helmet orchid leaves so we'll be keen to come back when they're in flower. Tftc
Very enjoyable day. Lovely spot. Good flow of water coming down the falls today. TFTC
We headed out for a drive today to Marysville and to check out Steavenson Falls. The weather was looking a little dodgy but we managed to dodge around all the showers for the few hours we were out.Not too busy today and a few walks in and out to the falls to trigger the ad lab points were also done while enjoying the falls. A favourite from me.Thanks ThaKraken for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.
Despite it being very wet we decided to walk to the top of the waterfalls and what a fabulous mystical view we were treated too!! I will never tire of nature in this fabulous country TFTC
Beautiful spot! We did the adlab and this cache, it was a warm day but a bit cooler up here. Photo to be attached and will send answer through TFTC ThaKraken - GJMMelb
We visited Marysville overnight and I saw this virtual and wanted to visit the falls. The water that was cascading down was gorgeous however when we walked to the bottom it was sad to see the memorial to the young people that had died there many years ago.
Heading home from Wangaratta, I took a circuitous route and picked a few caches along the way. I did the Adlab, then grabbed this one as well. My answer has been sent to and approved by the CO.Many thanks to ThaKraken for the cache.
Currently trying to finish the year with a streak and so heading out daily, for a cache. Plus their are a few other caches I need for challenges. After dinner we came here and it was amazing with the sound and atmosphere. FavThanks to ThaKraken for the fun and the adventure.
A visit to Marysville after the gorgeous drive up through black spur. We no idea of the falls, as nothing planned, and noticed this virtual and a AL. At the time no mobile coverage and had no idea upon what was required, thus snapped photos of various plaques and obviously a selfie.Has been some grief with a missing boy and a fatality group of boys on another incident that makes you think not to take your life for granted.Enjoyed the virtual, thanks ThaKraken
This is an amazing place. Such power from the water falling but also such calmness. Beautiful calm cool air flows over you. TYFTC
I had a great time visiting with my non-caching wife and son. Since the pandemic I have made so few trips for a hiking cache. TFTC.
Beautiful day been coming for year sharing the beauty with friends today was amazing so much water especially since no snow yet.
No phone signal down here for me, so no AdLabs, but I enjoyed my look around (high & low) as well as this Virtual. Photos attached - thanks for a cool spot!

We had our first experience of winter chill this week, hiking in rain and wind up from Marysville along the bush tracks to this waterfall. It was in fine form today with plenty of rain, thundering down the slope. Now for a hot chocolate and dry socks! TFTC

A very belated log as I visited on Labour Day weekend and already have the go ahead from the CO to log after messaging with them. I recommend other cachers to read the instructions or save this cache for offline in town before going up there as there was no reception (even I’m with Telstra which usually has the best coverage). Anyway, we had been there before a few years ago and back again this year with friends to show them around and they enjoyed the novelty of going to a waterfall at night time. As deaf people, we don’t get to hear the sounds but the visual aspect was awesome and also enjoyed the feeling standing on the steel platform as the water rushed underneath. Thanks for placing this virtual cache!
This morning we were going to ride our bikes from where we were staying but unfortunately it started raining heavier so decided to return. We then came to town and rode our bikes from there in the break in the weather.
When we arrived at the falls we marveled at the flow of water and there was a light drizzle falling. It is a great experience watching and hearing the water flow.
Thanks for bringing us to this wonderful place

TwoEms meet here every year on this day, as we did last year, and the year before, and today. We anticipate we’ll be here next year, and the year after, and after, and onwards, even when we run out of years and can no longer live another day.
We walked to the top of the falls and then back down again, and then stood alone for a quiet while on one of the platforms. We felt the powerful roar as it came crashing down in front of us—drowning the green scent of the forest and the delicate chatter of birds that breathe life over these impressive elements. We felt the lightest spray evaporate on our skin as the autumn wind swirled, and wafts of musky warm and fresh cool air fought around us. The brightest white reflected in our eyes while our minds drifted to the little red turbine working further down below in darkness.
Thank you for the virtual cache.

A beautiful day out to a beautiful part of the state! Thank you so much for bringing us here for the cache!
We went for a drive in the countryside and fell into Marysville. We followed the signs and found ourselves at the Falls. Amazing.
Unfortunately a group of today's youth arrived with a speaker pumping tunes and then proceeded to rip up vegetation and hit each other with it.
A peaceful place normally no doubt. TFTC

Great visit on a public holiday.
This is one of our favourite day-trip locations, the cascading crashing water really soothes our young man and helps him restore balance in the world.
Todays photo was (as always) from the top of the falls, we felt a little awed by the amount of water that tumbles down to the ocean. TFTC (but not the March fly that attacked as I was writing this log)

*Cache find # 13937.*
{FTF} joint find with biggles1024.
Today I headed out this way with Mark on a maintenance run and also to try our luck at getting a couple of FTF finds.
The weather was a bit odd today, sunny one minute and trying to rain the next.
We arrived at a very full carpark but found one spot which seemed to be reserved just for us, we then headed along the trail to the falls which is a great sight.
I have been here before but that was many, many years ago.
**Thanks to ThaKraken for placing this cache.**

**Find #5003**
**Virtual Find #39**
**Joint FTF**
**Logged with Permission**
As we were in the area, Steve and I headed here to try for the FTF. Parking was at a premium, but we were lucky and found a spot quickly. A short walk to the bridge found us looking up at a magnificent waterfall. Lots of muggles made photos difficult but I managed to take a few. Thanks for bringing me here.
