No luck for us here this afternoon. Had enough of the rain for one day. So will give up on this one today.

Spotted this after a few minutes. Again maybe someone shifted this as the description and hint bore no relationship to the location? Thanks!

After a good walk around Tawharanui this morning, I stopped at this small little trail near Sandspit to take a look for the caches along here. I parked on the gravel side road and walked to the cafe and back again. The trail was quite muddy in places, but I found all caches without any problems. TFTC!

TThis one was at the start of the trail.

Cheers for the cache, G-2.

Wow. We DID need a hand after all, so that was useful. Fave point and thanks for the trail. Cache is all good. TFTC

19-Jan-23
Wow! I'm at the end of the trail already, shame, I was rather enjoying that, only places I would have had to get off my e-bike (if I had brought it along) and that would have been for the 2 bridges I saw along the way.

I have to 'hand' it to you G, this hide is very handy! No worries getting a handle on this one. Lol. last cache for today and now I'm walking up Hamilton Rd, to the main road and back to The Parsley Pot Cafe, just for the heck of it and because I'm thoroughly enjoying myself. FP for your hides here and the others.

Tomorrow I'll take the van down to 'Not the worst bus stop--in Sandspit!' on my way home.

After we found the first cache on this trail some 8 years ago we were walking here regularly over the years. But only now we went to hunt down all the new caches along this, at the moment rather muddy, trail. TFTC

Had to find some caches for International Geocaching Day so chose some near home we had yet to look for. Waited until newly-living-at-home-again daughter finished work and off we went. Quick find here due to hint, although GPS was off for us. Thanks for placing G-2. Never made it as far as this road the times we have walked this track because we had to get back to the car at the other end. Today we parked at this end.

What a great hidden trail, a place we would never have known existed had it not been for geocaching.
This cache was a nice quick find as we began our walk and very nice G-2 camo that we have encountered before. We must point out that we find these hides very handy.
We had decided to start from this end and get a coffee and bite to eat at the cafe at the other end before heading back.
No other cars around today so parking was easy.
Now to begin our walk.
TFTC.

22-May-22
Very nice hiding spot
Make sure you look out for the fairy door not too far into the track. Kids loved it!

06-May-22
Well that was a handy hint.
Going to walk here today from this end, since the other end got too close to Road for geohound.
Looking forward to the trail.

After parking. on the other side of the bridge we wandered over and thankfully didn't need a hand to find this one

Parked the other side of the bridge.
A quick find at the start of the track.

Out for the day with Merlot58, S/N and Nette to find the latest G2 caches in the area. We didn’t need a hand to find this one at the start of the trail. TFTC

On a caching mission this morning with Keylev. I had mentioned that I wanted to hit 100 caches this week. Managed to get up to 50 so today was going to be the big one!

Keylev saw a few FTFs up here and was keen to give it a go. I'm always good for caches so it didn't bother me one bit! Apologies for the copy and paste but there were a few caches her but appreciate the new caches here! TFTC

[FTF] Out with Team Gold this morning (0B80B8 and Liscrew) to collect a few caches to keep our numbers up. This series pop up last night, so we though we would give a FTF a go. Nice quick find at the start of the trail. Another empty log, Yay. TFTC

Team G0LD had planned to cache in Orewa today, get 50 caches and clean up that area. Such a nice surprise to see all these new caches published. With no found it logs appearing on our way down we made the short diversion out this way to try for the ftfs.

I'd only just noticed the notifications for these ones at 6.20am and we were leaving at 6.40am. Then noticed we were leaving at 6.30. Quickly downloaded them after seeing where they were thinking they might be still be up for grabs in an hour or so.

A quick, handy find here at 7.59am. Pleased to claim the {FTF} on it. We then set off along the trail to grab the rest.

Thanks for the new series here which added an extra bit of excitement to these Whangarei cachers today Smile
