Found it - thanks for the cache. This walk is 600mtrs from my parents place, glad we found it
On our way home Te Arai we decided to stop off here and grab a couple more caches. Parked up on Hamilton Road and made our way along the footpath. A nice quick find here.
Great walk, we're glad there's a breeze on this hot day! Happy find for the youngest.
looked around down the bush for a while because my gps was very off, to realise there was no post down the bush, shortly after looking at the posts at the top, found it! Great hide G
Thank you once again G-2 for bringing me to a nice walk that I would not have known was there otherwise. I really do enjoy chasing your caches... Keep up the great work.
a bit damp under foot and paw but we are determined - almost spitting tacks nut not quite. t4tc
After a good walk around Tawharanui this morning, I stopped at this small little trail near Sandspit to take a look for the caches along here. I parked on the gravel side road and walked to the cafe and back again. The trail was quite muddy in places, but I found all caches without any problems. TFTC!
OMG ! The cows were staring at us! Only got the cache on our way back ! ...

Merlot58 and I then moved location to the Duck Creek Trail for me to sign off a few more caches.
Initially I thought from the hint of a frog (the ground was wet enough) but that was wrong.
Cheers for the cache, G-2.

Rather wet feet now, thanks to the morning dew, but only one treefall on the track after cyclone Gabrielle and that was easy to negotiate. Cache is all good. TFTC
Moving along, I came to this. There are many posts, smaller and bigger, round and square. Unfortunately blackberry is here too within spitting distance. There is only one round post that has any type of shubbery and I presume that is of the rivet.. rivet kind. But no cache hanging around there that I could feel or see. It is also the only post that I didn't go "Owwwh" when feeling for the cache, damn blackberry!
So here I replaced the cache here for the C.O, this time with a small camoed pill bottle behind the said shrub. This should suffice for awhile. Gorgeous walk along here, I'm loving it.

After we found the first cache on this trail some 8 years ago we were walking here regularly over the years. But only now we went to hunt down all the new caches along this, at the moment rather muddy, trail. TFTC
GPS off at all the caches so far, this one no exception although the hint ended up with GAR finding the cache. Thanks for placing G2! Onwards we go, trying to stay on our feet on the soggy ground - had a few close calls already.
We didn't try spitting but we did drool slightly when we located the cache. Not so much because we were excited about the find but more because we knew there is a cafe at the end of this trail and we were keen to partake in its delicacies.
After replacing the cache we headed on to the next one and one step (or is that spit) closer to a coffee.

This was an easy and quick find.
Please watch out, there is a big wasp nest on the opposite site of the path under the trees at the moment. Despite it being cold and and windy plus showers coming through they were very active.

Just one little sting during retrieval.
Wasps nest in ground just across, Don't delay here.

Used my device not a geosense here and after that it was nice and easy find.

I was trying to figure out why there was such a large gap from the middle cache to here and afterwards realised there is a cache between them that I had already found. Another great cache along the way and managed to avoid the stinging insects nearby. TFTC
There were some very busy bees on the other side of the track so we didn't hang around for too long here
Out for the day with Merlot58, S/N and Nette to find the latest G2 caches in the area.
There were a few posts to check here, but once we cottoned onto the hint we zoomed in for a quick find. There were wasps or bees down low on the opposite side to gz, so we quickly carried on along the trail. TFTC

Loved the hint here!
We all "got it " and knew what to look for.
Funny!
Lovely walk....such a shame though about the invasive asparagus weed and the plant with the gorgeous pink and purple flowers...
Very peaceful...no one around today.

On a day mission caching with B4Dawn. Nice quick find here and we were on our way. Thanks for the cache.
Team G0LD had planned to cache in Orewa today, get 50 caches and clean up that area. Such a nice surprise to see all these new ones published. We left Whangarei 10 minutes earlier than planned and made the short diversion out this way to try for the ftfs along this trail.
8.12am: Not surprised to get {FTF} again here as we're in the middle of the trail. As we get closer to the end we're beginging to wonder if anyone else will have started from that end??
Quite a few posts to check as the hint -weedy shrub was hardly noticeable. Loved the rivet rivet part of the hint and knew exactly what to look for.
Thanks again for this fun little cache trail along this bush track

On a caching mission this morning with Keylev. I had mentioned that I wanted to hit 100 caches this week. Managed to get up to 50 so today was going to be the big one!
Keylev saw a few FTFs up here and was keen to give it a go. I'm always good for caches so it didn't bother me one bit! Apologies for the copy and paste but there were a few caches her but appreciate the new caches here! TFTC

[FTF] Out with Team Gold this morning (0B80B8 and Liscrew) to collect a few caches to keep our numbers up. This series pop up last night, so we though we would give a FTF a go. Eventually found the correct hint item and had the cache in hand. Sign the empty log and replace before heading of the the next one. TFTC
