After the storm had blown away it was an opportunity to do some personal business in this area. But I was thwarted by office hours, ie they were closed on Sunday. So, not to waste the journey, I came searching for this cache. Thanks, I enjoyed it.
Thanks for the Cache -e^ip,End of another work week, time to unwind and get a smiley face. I took to the JuzMagic trail with some success. As I came down the hill I thought I would pick up some of the litter, make Captain Pollution proud. After the last time we overfilled the bin and it didn't empty, I went to the tip and had to pay $35 to empty it, I thought I would have to find some way to dispose of it. I suppose I could wrap it in birthday paper and leave it in my unlocked car.Cache is in good condition.Regards from Victourer
tricky find dont let the tracker decieve you and probably best if you dont go in the hole in the fence anyways W win
I picked up another in this series a long time ago and have never got around to finding them all. I did remember to take a snap of the required info for later. Not sure if I even still have the info from previous finds though. That was definitely more than one phone ago which died a tragic death. One day I will pursue the final cache.
Out and about enjoying a bit of sun, thanks for the excuse to explore a different area
Met up with Kploz and Helikeli as my family are all away. Nice easy find on this autumn day. Collected the info. Thanks for the cache.
A cool autumn morning caching with Kploz and Morcs4 to complete the nearby JuzzMagic series which have been nominated for this years awards. Manage to park nearby to retrieve this cache, noting down the clues and signing the log.
Found with icw. This bleak location lives up to the cache name of deforestation. I noticed a bus stop nearby, sort of like finding one on the Birdsville Track. Who would catch a bus from here? Tftc.
Completing some more of the Juzz magic series and this was sooo close so I found it took note of the clues and headed back across that busy road for some lunch. Thanks for the fun -e^ip
We were touring the area collecting a few caches and this one was also on our radar as well.We reached in, dragged it out and collected our clues. In the end, we were only 1 clue short of finding the bonus cache. We'll be back another day. Thanks -e^ip for placing these caches around the area.Chiefton!!!
While we were going along Canterbury Road we took advantage of the relatively light traffic to park within a few metres of GZ. I popped out of the car on the passenger side and found the cache very quickly. It pays to be careful around the horrible Sword grass near GZ. More clues for the final were recorded.
Mr Fleabag- has a goal to reach 10,980 geocaches before departing Australia to celebrate a big 11,111 milestone overseas and invited me to join him for a day's caching.we nearly drove right by this cache, as fleabag- had already found it.with a quick driving maneuver around the traffic, we were close to GZ and the log was soon in hand.thanks for the series and hope to find them all soon.
Yes indeed thats ironical. Quick find as I traversed Kilsyth. Two eco-finds and one eco-DNF means Im probably going to struggle for the final, but well see . TFTC - cache in great condition.
Deep within the heart of the Amazon rainforest, a sinister force named Captain Pollution had emerged. Driven by greed and a thirst for power, he hatched a nefarious plan to unleash devastation upon the world. With chainsaws and bulldozers in hand, he led an army of machines to wreak havoc through rampant deforestation.
Captain Pollution reveled in the destruction as ancient trees fell to the ground, and the cries of displaced animals echoed through the once-thriving ecosystem. He believed that by stripping the rainforest of its life, he could weaken the very essence of Captain Planet's power. The air grew heavy with sorrow as the balance of nature teetered on the brink of collapse.
Yet, far away on Hope Island, a beacon of hope and strength stood ready to defend the Earth. Captain Planet emerged, a guardian formed from the harmonious blend of Earth, Fire, Wind, Water, and Heart. The news of Captain Pollution's devastating assault on the rainforest spurred Captain Planet into action.
Arriving at the scene of destruction, Captain Planet surveyed the devastation with a heavy heart. He felt the pain of the Earth itself as it cried out for healing. But he also felt the resilience that nature possessed—the tenacity to rebound even in the face of adversity. With determination in his eyes, Captain Planet raised his arms, and the elements answered his call.
Earthquake-like tremors shook the ground beneath Captain Pollution's feet as he commanded the machines to continue their assault. But Captain Planet used his mastery over the Earth to create a barrier, halting the bulldozers and rendering the chainsaws useless. Fire roared to life, engulfing the remaining machines in a blaze that left them smoldering and defeated.
As the flames subsided, Captain Pollution's anger grew. He conjured fierce winds that tore through the rainforest, attempting to scatter the guardian of nature. But Captain Planet used the wind's own power to redirect the gusts, weaving them into a protective shield that surrounded the delicate plants and creatures.
The two captains clashed in a battle of wills, elements, and ideals. The air grew tense as Captain Pollution refused to yield, even as the rainforest's spirit seemed to strengthen Captain Planet. Amidst the chaos, the soothing call of Heart echoed—a reminder of the interconnectedness of all living beings.
Gazing upon the desolation he had wrought, Captain Pollution felt a pang of doubt. Deep within his heart, the seeds of remorse began to sprout. He remembered the beauty of the rainforest, the diversity of life it harbored, and the crucial role it played in maintaining the Earth's balance.
As Captain Pollution hesitated, Captain Planet seized the opportunity. He unleashed a torrent of water that doused the remaining fires and revitalized the parched earth. Vines and plants began to reclaim the barren landscape, a testament to nature's ability to heal and renew.
Captain Pollution's power waned as the rainforest's resilience and Captain Planet's unwavering determination prevailed. With a final burst of energy, Captain Planet merged the elements into a magnificent display of unity, encompassing and cleansing Captain Pollution of his darkness. The once-menacing villain stood transformed, humbled by the might of nature's guardian.
And so, the tale of Captain Pollution's failed attempt to use deforestation to conquer Captain Planet became a testament to the strength of nature and the power of unity. The rainforest began to flourish once more, and Captain Planet stood as a symbol of hope—a reminder that even in the face of destruction, the Earth's champions would always emerge victorious.

Easy find, next to the busy road, especially in early morning. Thanks for the cache.
This is the second last one I need to complete the series. An easy park and grab, no one on the footpath today but plenty of cars zipping by. The quarry is indeed a real eyesore. Captain Planet would not be pleased!
Only cache in the series I did not enjoy the location of. Luckily quick find and could move on quickly. TFTC
I decided to spend the day caching around Montrose. I have done quite a few Captain Pollution caches and am hoping to get enough information by the end of the day to sort out the final mystery cache.
*Found on the 29 Jan 2023 @ 3:50 pm.*
*Cache find # 14101.*
I happened to by driving passed this one on my way home, so a quick stop was made and a quick find followed, the log was stamped and it was on my way.
**Thanks to -e^ip for placing this cache.**

I have been saving close to home caches for rainy days whilst doing my streak. As I have finished it, I can collect those that I have left. Thanks for the cache.
This is a cache I had considered stopping by previously but usually I was in a hurry and unsure where to park. Today was the day though, after visiting and deciding against another wasting time looking for a nearby cache, I thought the side-street a safe bet to put the car. Althouigh it was a bit of a walk and not the prettiest of locations it was at least free from muggles (on foot at least) so the cache was spotted and easily logged without any difficulty.
Managed to get this was just as it was getting dark. We now have all the caches in the series so hopefully we'll be able to get the mystery soon! Tftc
This cache was the last one I needed for this series. Quick find and sign....
Now some calculating then to start on the planet ones.
Thanks to -e^ip for the fun and the adventure.

Thanks for a nice quick find. Will have to come back another day for the other 5. It was in plain site when we arrived so we’ve hidden it a little more covertly. I hope that’s what the intention actually was. Thanks
Find 2 of 6 - we are going for the full series today!
The ironic hide was appreciated!

Out with pinnacle333, we were doing the pollution caches around Kilsyth in the cold weather. Clever hide on such a busy road. Thanks -e^ip
Managed to park very close to GZ.
Amazing how much the traffic slows down when a car with tinted windows is parked on the side of a very busy rd.

I dropped my son off at the local Scout had and had a few hours to grab some caches! A quick find here, tftc!
Incidentally lots of side road rubbish from where I parked on a busy road to GZ. tftc
This location seemed a little exposed but fortunately passing traffic was travelling quite quickly and there was shelter from our parked vehicle. Another quick find today. Thanks -e^ip for the cache.
After experiencing the peaceful atmosphere at the last cache location, Juzzmagic and I returned to the real world, surrounded by trucks and dense traffic. Ron did his trick of finding the cache while I was still getting ready to search. Thanks for this series -e^ip.
Found at 1:48 pm.
After a chilly morning I decided to finally head out and find a puzzle cache today and this series had been on the radar for quite a while and today I had plenty of time so off I went in between doing an adventure lab at the same time.
After completing Captain Planet I started on these ones but had one DNF so couldn't look for the final cache.
Managed to park on the side of the road and make a quick find here and gather the next set of clues.
Thanks -e^ip for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

On my way back from the Dandenong’s I pick this easy one up. Did not pick up clues as I not read about it. Nice easy find. Thanks for the cache -e^ip
I parked right at GZ, making sure I was well off the road. A predestrian looked as I got out of the car, wondering why I had stopped. After they moved on I started the search and soon had the cache. Thanks e^ip

My teenage sister came over to stay the night last night, and so today I decided we should do some caching and enjoy the lovely weather.
Nakarra_L spotted it. I saw this come up in my emails when it was published but it was too late for ftf, so I didn't head to them.

In the area visiting my mum who lives in Montrose, this gave me a couple of hours to catch up with Omegaman1971 as well. There were a few new publications we were keen to find.
This is one of the caches found today.
Thanks -e^ip for the cache.

After being confined to barracks isolating when this series was published, today I was able to get out and about to find them.
This was the first, and I picked a gap in the muggle traffic to extract, sign and replace this nicely concealed cache.

Walking from home that is now 5/5. Thanks heaps for the new collection. Giddy up
We found this cache today on our late afternoon Montrose to Mount Evelyn Meander. A second find in this new series. Unfortunately, we had planned to loop around and back to this series later in the afternoon but our late start meant that we did not get back to it. We shall return to complete it later on. Strangely, this is not our first cache find along this stretch of path as we located "The Forgotten Oasis" just a few metres down the road some 9,012 finds ago. Thanks from D & H B-A
Tftc.. bit harder a find maybe cos we're searching at night. Thought I'd have to log a DNF. Have all 5 rings will place them back in 6 when we find it.
With having found three FTFs in the series and there still being an FTF opportunity for the final mystery cache, I knew I had to try and finish off the series tonight.
This one actually gave me a bit of a struggle. The road nearby was surprisingly busy tonight, and not wanting to look too suspicious shining my flashlight around. I had to go mostly by touch as I searched for this one.
I really really wanted to get the FTF on the final and this was the last cache in the series that I needed before I could attempt to go for the final.
I got more and more nervous as I searched for the cache and continued to not find anything. I kept thinking that I would maybe have to come back at first light to try and find this one, when finally I felt something that seemed out of place.
Yes! cache in hand, log signed, and the last hint collected.
Big thanks to -e^ip for the series, I had a lot of fun finishing this one off tonight.
The cache was in great shape, the logbook was nice and dry, and the hint for the final was easily readable. TFTC

I had a late start to the day today ..was it going to rain? Yes? No? Maybe? I had found a couple of caches closer to home and when I checked the map I noticed -e^ip had placed a couple of caches for his new series not too far away … whoohoo! Some green on my map in a sea of yellow to be discovered. There is a very safe car parking area close by .. always appreciated, thanks. It was an interesting walk to GZ where the cache was found safely hidden. It was interesting, considering the theme of the series, I was surprised at how much debris had accumulated by the roadside .. looks like it’s been here for years. You don’t really see that when driving by. I will be chasing down more Captain Pollution & the Eco-Villains Series .. I Thanks -e^ip for placing the cache and for the new series.
A quick park and grab whilst out shopping. Gathered the data for the final. Thanks
