In the late afternoon yesterday , after we had arrived in St Arnaud , and having filled the shopping requirements for our camping trip, we came to visit this Hide.Perhaps, after a day of driving, we had little patience and not enough stamina to really make a good search, so we decided to head to Camp and set up instead. Back today with fresh eyes, and we are happy to report that we have signed the log here. Beautiful gardens and history here. Thanks FUF009 Domsky

First find in hopefully a long list of finds for the day out with the kiddos, exploring the town. We normally only find one or two then kids get bored and want to go to a playground. Today we've loaded up with bribes. . . . . I mean snacks and headed out for some mummy time fun. Thanks, enjoyed an easy find to get us started.

Suscoe and Phetlern had arrived St Arnaud earlier on today for a couple of days of caching.
The weather was fine and we enjoyed wandering the area caching and in particular the Eucy Drive.
It was getting late in the day now and with a couple of caches left to find we came here to The Gardens.
The container was soon spotted by P and so we were pleased to get our names into the logbook.
Thank you FUF009 for this nice hide.

Enjoying a couple of days in and around St Arnaud, with Suscoe, included a walk in the Gardens, not just for the cache, which we found, but also to walk among the spring color of so many flowers.

Thanks to FUF009 for adding this cache to the gameboard.

Going to have to skip this one cause I look a bit silly… will be back

27-Aug-23
After finishing the Eucy trail we headed back into town to look for a few caches we had yet to find. This was the first on the list. Mrs y'stassie went for a little walk around the area and, while waiting for a couple of dog walking muggles to sort themselves our she pinpointed the search area. Once the muggles moved on she quickly found the container, signed the log and returned the container to its neat hide.

Thanks for this cache FUF009. After finding this cache we completed the AdLab in these lovely gardens.

We haven't been up to St Arnaud for a while, and some new caches up there have since accumulated. So a trip up was planned for today, and to top it off, the weather was absolutely perfect too. After some bush caching in the morning and lunch up at the Club, we spent the afternoon doing labs and caches around town. A nice quick find here, although it wasn't as quick to replace as a muggle walking his dog appeared, and decided it was a nice spot to stop and stand around for a couple of minutes. Eventually he moved on and we replaced the cache. TFTC FUF009.

Came back around here to the gardens after we found the railways one. Already walked around the gardens not looking if there was a cache here ….another quick find then off for another tftc

The JAMS team (JJ52 allister w, mogni and sir_spectre) were on a road trip heading to the Rutherglen Mega event (staying in Corowa) for 3 days then winding our way home via Albury, Wangaratta, Bendigo and various other places in between. It was a great week with many more caches found than we expected. There were targeted caches, challenge caches, Ad Labs, events and various others to fulfill various statistics for the four of us. We were lucky with the weather, it rained a bit on our way over on Friday, then half a day after we left Wangaratta but on the whole it was great caching weather. We did drive a few slippery muddy roads, but nothing too bad. We also caught up with lots of people either at events or out in the field and enjoyed many great chats. All in all a fun time with lots of Victoria explored and then very tired when I arrived home. [^]Big Grin

We were on our way home now and stopped here in St Arnaud to stretch the legs and find a couple of virtuals. It was great to be in St Arnaud again even if only for a short while. Big Grin

Always love these gardens which I have now visited a few times. Big Grin

Thanks for the cache FUF009. Smile

14-Apr-23
Stamped as JAMS - JJ52, alllister w, mogni, sir_spectre. All of these teams are from South Australia and after some major planning we managed to find approx 700 caches while being away for a week. Also qualifiied for a variety of challenges, found LGA's and had lots of laughs. Found while attending the Victorian Mega in Rutherglen.
Thanks

14-Apr-23
quick find after doing the nearby virtual and the 2 ad lab stages. Nice location. fav point
Found with JAMS (( JJ52, Allister w, Mogni, plus sir_spectre ) Mitchell&hound wasn't with us this trip) crew. All logs stamped as JAMS to save log space. This trip we are off to the Rutherglen Mega and then slowly coming back to S.A. for a total of 8 dys and 7 nights. The targets of this trip are for JJ52 to get 11 more multi to get to 1000 multi's and a few more Victorian LGA's, Allister W was targeting 17 virtuals ( or as many as he could get ) a few more Victorian LGA's Mogni to make the Rutherglen Mega her 20, 000 find and also for her to complete all Victoria LGA's, sir_spectre needs 1 more multi to get to 1000 multi's and get his Victoria LGS's down to 2 LGA's left. We got 20 or more finds in a LGA if we stayed in there over night. We also detoured to stamp any challenge caches that we were " in the general area off " and to complete that challenge before we came back to S.A. This meant that some times dirt road (s) had to be walked down because they were to wet to drive down and/or haven't been repaired since last years flooding. We started off the holiday in the rain and then that cleared up only to start raining and a overnight thunder storm but most of the trip was dry. Over 600 caches found for the trip including over 120 lab stages in that total. Got to complete the GPS Maze at the Rutherglen Mega for a 2nd time. Allister w was the team driver for all of the Victorian part of the trip. I think this was the first trip ever to Victoria that the extension pole didn't get used but the 6.2 meter ladder did get a work out.

14-Apr-23
The JAMS (JJ52, allister w, mogni and sir_spectre) go mega... We came, we cached, we laughed, we hugged and we had a great time. All caches were replaced better than found. But like all good things it must come to an end and so we started our way home, it only took 5 days.... Smile
Thanks to FUF009 from mogni

We continued today our tour in Victoria, AUS, and thereby searched, found and logged this interesting Traditional-Cache.

The weather was - said in one word – simply best. The good hidden caches and the being on holidays kept us the whole day in a good mood.

The cache had good coordinates, and thus was easy to find. The logbook was okay, and allowed easy logging.

Thanks to FUF009 for the generation of this nice cache The Gardens (with the proper agenda), for leading us here and for showing us this funny location as well as the ongoing maintenance of this cache.

PS: Please forgive us the uniform log which is needed due to timing problems - if necessary special actions and happenings are there described where they appeared.

Greetings from Germany together with the hope to meet somewhere like event or wood.

There was a Posums party to attend at Teddington Reservoir over the weekend and who would not want to miss that so I made my way to here yesterday and set up camp.
It has been a while since I have been up this way so it was good to be back up here.
I have never been into the Teddington Reservoir area before and the facilities were great for camping.
After a warm fun night with plenty of laughs and maybe a couple of drinks it was time to spend the day caching before heading out for tea.
After visiting a hut and then a tank, doing some pole fishing then a 4WD series, an Ad Lab grabbing some lunch, a couple of trads it was time to head to St Arnaud for tea.
Of course there is always time for one more and this was one of them.
After doing the Ad Lab in the gardens it was pointed out to us that there was a trad here as well.
A quick poke around and we soon added our names to the log.

Thanks FUF009 TFTC.

Oops. Missed one. Red Face
I thought I had found everything within cooee of this park, but then FUF goes and sneaks another one out in here. Twisted
We had already walked through this park 3 times this weekend (caching from an offline list), but cat' and I hunted it out on our last day in town on our very bountiful Christmas holiday in St.Arnaud.

TFTC FUF009. We will be back. Cool

Cache and contents in good condition. [^]

Cache found and log signed with dalerious Razz. Visited these gardens a few times over the years. We were here again a few times whilst visiting various waypoints for adlabs and initially missed the green blurb on our screen.

Interesting writing implement found in cache; bespoke, I imagine.

Thank you FUF009 for a jam packed weekend
