What a great find. A bit of an adventure, nearly lost the cache. Worth a favourite point. Tftc
Visiting family in NZ and couldn't resist looking for caches. Thanking fot bringing us to this spot. TFTC
we were in the area primarily chasing an ad lab point, but it's so lovely here that we decided to spend a bit of time exploring the area and picking up some trads as well. This was quickly spotted, and we were able to make a quick grab of the cache, and move away to do the signing, as we heard some muggles coming. Thanks for setting this up
In Beachlands/Maraetai with rattll this weekend, an area neither of us have ever cached before (and that's a rare thing in the NI!)A quick find at GZ, just as well because a family group came around the corner just as we stepped back onto the path. We retreated to another spot to sign, letting them go past us. All well in the container. Signed, then returned to GZ to replace as found. Tftc!
There were over 100 steps to get to this cache from where we parked. Good thing it was a nifty hide which made it worth the effort. TFTC.
Out with Agazo today, getting towards the end of our day, still nice finding another cache, tftc
Being back in the area of Auckland and having some muggle friends with me I opted about for a nice (loooong) walk, and they joined me they seemed a bit exhausted after some hours so off we went to waiheke island to visit some vineyards Well foundTftc
Stump me thats a great cache. Worth a Fav for the location and container. Found on another beautiful Auckland morning.TFTC
Very well hidden, the apple nearly fell far down the hill from this tree.. Found while on a morning ride T4TC
Out this way this afternoon to walk the MPI beagle along the beach for the last time before he heads back for formal training...hopefully he makes the grade an becomes an airport sniffer dog....This in it's original form was one of our earliest cache finds some 10 years ago.... but today it's not quite the same...but a find is a find.....TFTC..
( ) Well, I have my cache for the day, from one I did in Clevedon, but it's been a while since I've been over this way to Maraetai, let's get a a few caches to make it worth the flamin' expensive petrol to get here. I have use of my sister's car while she and hubby are away in USA, they return in 2 days.( ) Parked up close to the club house and walked it to GZ, I would have loved to have my e-bike with me, there is a lot of things to see in this area that could be nicely seen on the bike. Got to GZ and my initial search provided a stump of sorts, but a quick fiddle around here, and no cache, so extended the eye of Gorby to another direction, and viola, another far more suspicious suspect lay before me. Hello, what do we have here, that stump fits in so well, a FP Steve, well chosen spot and suspect. One more cache for me this evening, it's getting on to rum-ginger-ale o' clock and I need to be home before I get too thirsty.
We found the cache here, little surprised that considering the size of the outer encasing the inner was much smaller and left to roll around. The subject of the title is still in place but log container and log is no long present and did not appear to be on site anymore? Can send photo to CO if required, looks like as previous finder has mentioned some maintenance is required on this one. TFTC.
The container is no longer a snug fit in the camo as I think it once was. This makes it easy for the cache container to fall out and possibly disappear from its hiding place.
At last, a fine weekend!!! Time for some caching, although that was not the main purpose of our visit to Beachlands, Omana and Maraetai. We were taking our international student out for an outing and catching up with a friend who we hadn't seen for quite a while.
Continuing our walk along the pathway, and what do you know, there is another cache along here. Well, we can't leave it unnoticed, after all, the cache owner went to all the trouble to place it here. So the search began. It didn't take long to spot the cache as the cache container had fallen out of its clever camouflage and was just lying on the ground for all and sundry to see if they looked in that area. So, after signing the log, the container was placed back into the camo and put in a place that looked like it would be a likely hiding spot.

Arrived at GZ and found the cache. Just noticed the cache name and made the link to the hide. Thank you for the placement.
M24: was a bit stumped, then saw something out of sight, and bingo! Found it. Whoo! Nice find, give a FP, log all good and signed. TFTC.
With littleblackbird1 thanks for the hide
Loved it, another cool cache along the walkway. Off to the park for a play. To early for fish n chips

The owner of this cache found us stumped haha and at first we were not looking at the right one. Was really cool to meet you. Would have loved to chat longer but with an u settled baby that wasnt happening lol. Thanks for the apple stevecoxnz
Over from Ireland. First cache here. Gorgeous spot and cute cache. Favourite point given. Tftc
We feel we had found a cache in the rough area in the past but happy to collect this one as well
With Gap (of Fap and Gap)... We are trying to wring one last holiday out of the season before we have to return to work. It was decided that we should have a mini break at Kawakawa Bay (Auckland) which was perfect for a caching stint. As Gap was still in town for work, we arranged to meet in the Maraetai-Beachlands area...
We were on the AdLab trail, and this fitted perfectly into our beachside stroll. There were a few passing walkers, and it was a small challenge to get our bearings. We wondered if we needed to be below, but we spotted the hint object momentarily. An interesting hide - Thanks stevecoxnz. TFTC.

getting around to logging some of my finds, i found this a while ago with my mum Raven eyes, so the dates will be wrong, TFTC i really liked the camo on this one
Coordinates way off today - would have had us jumping . But we used our geosenses and the great hint to make quick work. Thanks
I have put a temporary cache container in for now and will replace with an apple type when I can find one so it fits in with the cache name.
Well it’s school holidays again and that’s generally when caches go missing and this one has fallen foul of vandalism. I will reinstate it asap.
Out and about on the first day of Daylights savings on a stunning day. The walkway was very busy today with lots of muggles and their dogs walking in both directions, so we had to wait for a gap in the "people traffic" before diving in to make a find here.
Quick find here of this very cute container, which would be a great cache for children to find!
Favourite point for the container and cache name. TFTC

Making the most of the lovely weather this afternoon and collecting some more caches. Parked up in Maraetai and started the Tracy walk. Plenty of muggles along here even in the winter. Had a good idea what to look for here thanks to the hint but still it wasnt an easy find. Was just about to give up when we spotted one last place to check. Wow didnt expect that. Very nicely cameoed. Thanks for the effort on this one.
We had found the original Apple of my-right-eye cache back in 2009. Today we enjoyed some memories of that occasion while we made our way to GZ. There were quite a few people out enjoying the fine weather this afternoon, so we needed to carefully time our retrieval and replacement of the cache. TFTC

This one did not have Mrs Geckoh stumped at all, she walked right up to it and had it in hand before Mr Geckoh had looked up from his GPS - nicely concealed TFTC
