GreenGecko 1 & myself are caching this side of town. Puzzles have been solved for a while now and I thought Id help by helping find them as I didnt solve them.
Nice to clear some solved stuff from the map. Sometimes it it overwhelming looking at a full map. Beautiful day for caching. Thank you for the fun
I was join by GreenGecko1 and Muggle65 for drive to Esk then a loop south then back to Brisbane. After the last cache we decided to grab this on the way back to my Ute. We signed the log and replaced back. Then we headed to the next cache.Miss Maddy thank you for placing and maintaining this cache for geocaching community enjoyment.
Out with IolantheK doing some radio field trials up the Brisbane valley and collecting some caches as we went [^]
IolantheK did the work on the puzzle this time [^]
Nice easy find at solved co-ords, just a bee line walk off the track [^]

Today T-Tech and I have a whole day of geocaching planned!!! We drove from our place via Mount Glorious to Fernvale for an Event, then on to Coominya and Wivenhoe Hill, before heading north through Esk and Yimbun and along Gregor's Creek Road to Kilcoy. Loads of fun!
We were pretty hot and tired after out walk out to Sheepstation Inlet, but still made the effort to get this CO's other 2 caches here as well. It's a surprisingly easy wander along this trail, and as T-Tech said we made bee lines to each of the caches. Great co-ords for both made for straightforward finds. TFTC, Ms Maddy.

I was in the area today and had time to stop by to find a couple of recently solved puzzle caches.
A nice little walk from the gate to here and a quick find made for a smile on my face.
Thanks for the cache.

Thanks for the cache.
Of course I walked an extra 200m along the trail to avoid 20m of long grass but still had 180m of long grass to traverse anyway. Thanks for the fun Ms Maddy
With HippyDonna sorting out the co-ordinates, we went on the hunt after Ms Maddy New Year day meet up. Was great to see HippyDonna out & about again. TFTC
Second one for us to find along this path. Happy to give it a little love with Wallaby Wanderers and Caro. Great to have this one ticked off. TFTC Ms Maddy
How had I missed this puzzle? Turns out the question mark was obscured by a trad on my map So after completing the Parkrun at Wivenhoe this morning I noticed it and set to solving it so we could get it while we were in the area. I thought I had it cracked but was too hot and tired to continue my thinking through all of the pictures. It could wait for a another day. However, after talking to the CO as her event later in the day, I realised my thinking, although it looked promising, was completely wrong With a good hint, we had the coords. Just as well as my head felt like it was going to explode from heat and tiredness. We set out later in day when it was far too hot, but made the find and made it back to the car where Zelda the WoofyWanderer made us forget our woes by greeting us with excitement and love. TFTC
Having attended an event today with this CO as the hostess, and receiving a solid assist with the puzzle, we ventured across to find the cache on our way home.
Wow, it has gotten hot and there's grasses, cobblers pegs and spiders... its almost like we're in... the Aussie jungle! Lucky for us we received this warm welcome.
Thanks for the puzzle, help and cache, Ms Maddy!

After attending the event held by the CO today we decided to stick with a MsMaddy theme and collect three of her mystery puzzles. After ticking off The Lost Woods from my solved list it was time for us to kill two birds with one walking pole and knock out the jungle as well
What a hot day at Wivenhoe! When we rocked up we parked behind WallabyWanderers who had to keep Zelda the dog in the car because the ground was too hot for her feet! Caro, the she part of WallabyWanderers ( ) and Kestal had just arrived back from the very caches MrGravel and I were targeting and looked a bit worse for wear. Thankfully they reported that all was OK with said cache because there is nothing worse than a DNF on such a hot day!
The walk to the cache was nice and cruisey along the gravel track UNTIL it was time to bush bash in a totally different direction to Lost Woods!!
The heat did not let up and in fact just laughed at us as we perspired!
But heat, sun and bush bashing was not stopping MrGravel and I - so we had great pleasure in signing the lovely dry log.
Thanks for placing a cache (or a few )in this area MsMaddy - it is a lovely area but I must remember I prefer to do these cache types in Winter! LOL

I looked at this puzzle last night, and utilising a fabulous new tool, well to me anyway, I was able to work out most of the numbers... but couldn't get the checker to agree... So with no intention to visit Fernvale, I put it aside...
Then I got a phone call from a North side FTF hound who I initially thought was coming out here... not so.... but we got onto this cache and I talked through my reasoning... The hound then worked through the possibilities and got the checker to agree... even sharing the solution... Turns out my educated guesses were right, but I still had two vital numbers wrong...
Today, I had plans, commitments and chores... but I checked at midday and the FTF was still available... A change of intentions and a 45 minute drive...
I remember my last visit to this area, and the amount of time I spent removing grass seeds from every nook and cranny... After following the trail, and with just under 200m to go there was no other option than to brave the grasses...
Spot on coordinates meant it was a nice quick find of the nicely themed container... A FTF pressie too... Ms Maddy thinks of everything.... Collected the CO's TB and left Geo-Achievement Finds 2000 Geocoin to continue on....
Apologies to my Hound friend... but if you go North for the weekend....
