A clean log...but...Im not FTF. Oh well, clue spot on if u know your Qld architecture....T4TC:-).
I am down under for the very first time. Visiting Australia has always been a dream of mine, and I cannot believe it has come true. Australia's nature and wildlife really captivated me. Over three weeks, I saw many wonderful beaches, sunsets, animals such as , and I found great geocaches. My tour guide was mostly geocaching, and through it, I discovered many beautiful places I wouldnt have seen without our great hobby. I mainly stayed in Brisbane but also visited other gorgeous places such as Noosa Heads and Springbrook. I spent a few days on the Gold Coast and Moreton Island, and I went to New South Wales to have visited a second state in Australia. During my stay, the winter and early spring in Queensland were very warm, the sun shone every single day, and I did not see a single drop of rain. My time down under was so beautiful and unforgettable. Australia is such a stunning country! Today I spent another day in Brisbane. I really like this city and I discovered beautiful places. I also looked for many geocaches like this one. At GZ I found the cache easily. After signing the log I put the container back as found. Thank you for this geocache says Mr. J. Cacher from the other side of the world
Found it thanks to one of the photos. Great cache. We agree with some others saying hint was confusing as we thought we should look in tree stumps. Thank you!
Found this cache to get the A for Spell M-A-Y in May challenge. I know I left it pretty late in May but the past few weekends have been hectic. Dropped son off at evening cricket practice at UQ and headed over here, as planned. There were a couple of people who walked up behind me when I was looking at the app on my phone (albeit not bending over at that point but off path; thankfully not in the correct cache location). They went inside to start working out. So as a precaution, given it was dark and I wanted to be stealthy and make a quick find, I ducked down out of sight of the deck window and used the photo by pea555 to make a quick find. I dont agree with their comment - the hint is very accurate. But their photo was useful (big spoiler ). Turns out after 5pm is an EXCELLENT time to do this cache due to the restrictive UQ parking zones.
GC9T9BP Acacia ParkI sat in the car as legally we couldnt park here on a uni day and watched KerriMG find it. Luckily she had it found and signed in no time. TFTC kolour
Nikid1 & I finally managed to have the same day off & after my dentist visit we headed out for some caching. Multi's are on our hit list today & then whatever else crosses our path. Parking was at a premium here today so nikid1 dropped me off & stayed with the car whilst I found the cache & added our names to the log, gotta love teamwork! Thanks for the cache kolour
hint was a bit misleading but in a good way. was relieved to find it. tftc. love you.
After a few domestic chores this morning the time came for me to head out and enjoy a spot of geocaching. Heading the geowagon in the direction of the hills today I had a few target caches on the radar for a challenge cache Im working on. Arriving at an appropriate place to park the geowagon I soon made my way to GZ and located the prize. Made my mark and I as soon on my way to the next adventure.A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available for fellow cachers to enjoy.Cheers
After a walk through the uni we made our way to see where scouts and powerlifters square off. Im not sure which group I would be putting my money on because sure the powerlifters would be muscly and buff, yet the scouts would be prepared, able to tie a few knots and be skillful in the art of needle and thread sewing on badges.Being a former scout, in the end I had to back my fellow bush nerds. You didnt need any steroids to go on a camp although these days who knows what the young kids get up to.After finding the cache we retired to the lounge someone has conveniently left in the park. tftc
Took a little bit of searching - we thought we had a fair idea where it should be, but it was only after checking the hint that we were certain that was the right idea; we soon found it after a more thorough look.
Had to be stealthy with muggles right near it, lucky my sidekick is small and discrete TFTC
The hall was in use so we stealthily approached the cache. Luckily, all muggles were none the wiser.
This was a great one and I found it with my brothers, and it was a very good spot. That could have taken a while! Once again, it was an amazing spot! Great one, thank you for the cache!

Out this morning woth my favourite prime (Missi :-p) ... and master P. A find for him here.
Out and about to collect a few caches on a beautiful morning.
Arriving at gz I knew where i had to look. With someone in the room above, I had to be extra stealthy. I checked one spot and with no luck moved to check another spot. With the cache in hand, I signed the log and snuck back to the car.
Thanks Kolour for the cache.

There was some activity going on today here, so was pretty stealth like. Fortunately I ducked down and saw it, retrieved and signed quietly and out of sight. Tftc
Nice easy find in a pleasant park. Lots of traffic going past but no one in park. Thanks
Out with IolantheK this avo for a few hours of caching [^]
Man if it wasn't for the hint I'd have never found this one [^]

T-Tech and I headed out this afternoon to gather a few caches for the current souvenir grab. 9 smileys in St Lucia and Indooroopilly was enough to keep us occupied for about 3 hours!
This place was almost deserted, just had to outwait one muggle passing through. T-Tech made the find. Great clue. TFTC again, kolour.

After finding a nearby cache, I headed to this one. A quick find was made and the log signed. With everything returned at found, I continued on my way. TFTC
This afternoon, with a coffee event and CITO event planned at the University of Queensland (UQ), I departed work earlier than usual in order to ride my bike to the scheduled festivities. A good catch-up with everyone, followed by a tough terrain clean-up along the banks of the Brisbane River. Despite cutting through Highgate Hill and Elenor Schonell Bridge in order to get to UQ, I took Coronation Drive bikeway on my way back to Brisbane CBD, making a few extra St Lucia stops.
I did wonder for some time what I was missing, loooking for the hinted object at GZ, and then searching outwards following the hint clue rather than the coordinates. Eventually, the penny struck, and I soon located the well-hidden cache. A sneaky spot where the hint has a little more obscure meaning than usual. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks kolour for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

After attending a couple of nearby events, I looked to see what I had in the area that needed my signature. I saw this one and headed over. I parked up and wondered over, I had a good idea of the hide. With an open doorway and someone inside I could see I was being watched. I had to sneak along under the open door to find the cache. I signed the log and replaced as found, then headed off to a nearby multi. Thanks for this one and a nice hide.
Event and CITO this afternoon and then a few caches in the area.
The hint confused me to start with but soon got with it. Had to stay below the floor line as there was activity inside.

When I saw the GZ I had a pretty good idea where it might be and I turned out to be right. Nice and quiet here today so it was easy to retrieve and sign. TFTC!
GZ was nice and quiet on a Saturday morning. The clue threw me off, but it was a quick find nonetheless.

After a previous DNF we came back with a change of tactics and quickly found what we were looking for. TFTC
sadly i didn’t find it! i have a feeling that a guy was sitting near where it was and i’m not that stealthy
Sometimes these hides stump us, down and dark!
Not so with this one. Spotted quickly, and signed, then quickly back to the car as our park is not strictly legal, even on a public holiday.
Thanks kolour

I have been determined to clean up the St Lucia area and that means grabbing some kolour caches. The hound and I stopped past GZ today and found this as a quick grab.
The hall was being used by a gym junkie so we were very careful to stay out of sight to get the job done.
Thanks for another lovely little park kolour. And TFTC!

A quiet and overcast Sunday afternoon seemed the perfect opportunity to take the hound for a walk and collect a couple of caches along the way…
A quick find, but I was surprised at the weight of the container… I was expecting sinkers to come rolling out when I opened it…

A new cache in St Lucia: good stuff. Another trip down memory lane as there used to be a mystery cache hidden here. I also recall going for a few runs through here back when I was younger and fitter.
This morning I came over after services at Christ Church and with a coffee in hand from the Village. I parked in Picardy St and wandered in to find a young girl with a big dog on a lead just sitting in the middle of the park looking at me. I wondered if I was interrupting a training session or something but it wasn’t clear. I ignored them and read all the signs etc very slowly until finally girl and dog left.
It took me a couple of goes and I hoped there were no redbacks around, but all is well. TFTC and a trip to a familiar spot.

Quick find which was lucky because I was parked illegally but I figure it's uni holidays so it should be fine. Thanks for the cache
