A beut spot, the aun is shining and the wattles are in bloom, the cache brightens it up even further. I had a terrific morning finding the whole Eucy Drive series with no DNFs. I walked some sections and drove others so the geopooch and i are both satisfied with our morning workout. i am now making my way further south collecting finds along the way. Often i cache midweek and it is a little unusual for me to cache for a whole weekend so I decided to head off this weekend for two days of caching fun. As it turned out i was able to get away latish on Friday afternoon so it will be more like two and a half days, yippee! I have been itching to get back over to St Arnaud and to do more of the fantastic series laid out around town and in the surrounding areas. Friday saw me pick up a couple of newish caches near Kooyoora, (Melville Caves), then get started on some cache series to the north east of town. After setting up camp and logging my finds i was early to bed and had a terrific sleep. This morning i set off early to finish the Eucy Drive series and now i am enjoying collecting caches and adlabs around town. Later i will probably head a little further south. Night turned to Day is find number 3,865 for me. A fun regular sized traditional cache I enjoyed finding as one of my caching adventures in Northern Grampians Shire. I am logging this one on Saturday 7 Sept 2024 at 1:52 pm and the weather is Clear Sky 16C 43% 6 m/s . Thanks for placing this cache for the rest of us to enjoy Tyred n Cranky.*Found with [Geooh GO](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobiltal.geoohGO)*
A significant thunderstorm had passed over St Araud when we arrived. We waited until it had passed before we went looking for this cache. Accurate coordinates led to a quick find of a signature style Tyred_n_Cranky cache. The cache and contents were in very good condition. Thanks Tyred_n_Cranky for another quality cache - it earns a favourite from us, PS we still remember the night cache.
Found with McAdies and Jelly_bean14.What a fantastic day to be out geocaching it was. Thanks for the hide.
Found with McAdies and Geo_Eddie.We took advantage of an amazingly warm Winters Day to visit the area. Thanks for hiding this cache, it was fun to find.
An enjoyable day out in the area today. It was a spectacular winters day. Thanks for placing the cache for us to find.
After finding all the challenge caches to the North of St Arnaud, we had some time left over, and I suggested finding this one.Parked nearby, and we strolled to the GZ. With good coordinates, this turned into a quick find. We then attempted to follow the trail until it took us straight to a fence. We have no idea why it is over the path, but we returned the way we came. Thanks for the cache, Tyred n Cranky.Hunter
thanks for bringing us here another quick find I would of loved to do it as a night cache tfth
A quick find. A shame we couldn't have found it when it was a night cache. I do enjoy a night cache. TFTC

Time to get away for the weekend, so a weekend trip to Bendigo (& St Arnaud) was organised with Geoturtle37.The main target for today was to find as many of the Eucy Drive as possible. But not before first stopping to find this nice-sized cache. Thanks for bringing us here by placing this cache, Tyred n Cranky ~~

It was my 1st time out of Melbourne in quite a while. FUF009 and I had some time this afternoon, so we spent some time claiming smilies. Tftc
Out with sorceysal for a few days at St Arnaud. Along the way we stopped to collect a few caches to add to our finds list. The fragrance here at this stage of the year was very nice. On our way to St Arnaud for a couple of days with 6hinemoa2. A great container, very appropriate for the cache name. Thanks Tyred n Cranky. A fave of course

Arrived in St Arnaud in time to ride a couple of AdLabs and a few caches before dinner.
Night caches are a bugger to maintain. Good to see you have repurposed the container though.
Thanks, Robmc.

Another quick find on our walk around the town during out mid-week escapade.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks for placing this geocache here for us to find today, for without those who like to hide geocaches, there would be nothing around for those who like to find geocaches.

Wheel of Challenges Streak (28 days) for the Hard Souvenir was done and completed yesterday. But seeing as I had found caches on days before the challenge started I decided 1 more cache (today) wouldn't hurt. Plus it give me the complete month streak for July.
So a short Detour on my walk tonight and finally I can mark this one off.
Cool coords and a good sized container always make for great caching.

Nice to find the container safe and sound.

Found on the first day of our Mainland trip, the sheer number of caches in the area seriously made us want to stay a bit longer than a night but places to go and things to see.

Thanks to all the cache owners for placing them.

**Found whilst in St Arnaud for the day** Out and about with The Crew (The Empire, Rebel Acts and Omegaman). The thing I love about caching is the interesting stories, the extra interest and attention you take when traveling, the sight-seeing, the history, the interests of the individual COs, *the fantastic photo opportunities* and sometimes finding places that even some locals dont know about. I, like most cachers, look for more that a mint tin or a container under a bush. I appreciate the time that most COs take to construct a cache and write up a comprehensive listing and to create an interesting cache. **I love traveling this big land of ours.** I love taking the roads less traveled. I love the diversity of the land, the different scenes in the different seasons, the fresh air, the open plains, the lofty vistas and the magnificent waters. I even enjoy the longer scenic walks although I'm not as young and as fit as I used to be. I love the different coffee shops I find. I enjoy the times I cache with others but I usually cache on my own. Thank you Tyred n Cranky for highlighting this area and for adding this cache to my real-life treasure hunt. Appreciate your efforts. Look forward to coming back to the area for the Easter Mega @ Rutherglen in a few weeks.- P*Took*: Nothing*Left*: Nothing**Warning**, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to learning new things and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Cache on! **#18608**

Teaming up with members of our group on Saturday morning, in St Arnaud - a familiar locale, we were in search of the Eucy Series today... and my 18,000th find... with that done and dusted, we were off to clean out the town once again!
Driving through St. Arnaud, memories flooded back of our shared adventures from years and megas gone by. The familiar streets and friendly faces brought a sense of joy and familiarity to our reunion. Geocaching provided the perfect backdrop for us to reconnect, reminisce, and create new memories together.
With each cache found, we celebrated with laughter and shared stories from our past geocaching escapades. As we explored St. Arnaud, the town embraced us with its unique charm. Thanks for the cache Tyred n Cranky.

Today, our crew embarked on an exciting geocaching adventure in the beautiful town of St Arnaud. Despite the slightly chilling weather, our spirits were high, and we were ready to conquer the caches hidden throughout the area.
Our journey took us through picturesque landscapes and winding trails. Each cache presented its own unique challenge, but we tackled them with enthusiasm and determination. The camaraderie among our crew made the experience even more enjoyable, as laughter echoed through the forest.
With each successful find, our excitement grew. The thrill of discovery, the satisfaction of cracking clever hints, and the joy of signing the logbooks were moments to treasure. We marveled at the ingenuity of cache placements and appreciated the effort put in by the geocaching community.
As the day went on, we couldn't help but be amazed by the hidden gems of St Arnaud. The caches not only led us to stunning viewpoints and secret spots but also provided us with insights into the local history and culture.
Our geocaching journey in St Arnaud came to an end, but the memories we created will last a lifetime. We left the town with a sense of accomplishment and a renewed love for the adventure that geocaching brings.
Until the next expedition, happy caching!
Thanks Tyred n Cranky for the cache.

Today, the crew embarked on an exciting geocaching adventure in the beautiful town of St. Arnaud. Despite the slightly chilling weather, our spirits were high, and we were eager to explore and find hidden caches.
The journey began with a quick team meeting at a local café, where we gathered our GPS devices, notepads, and a healthy dose of enthusiasm. Armed with our geocaching skills and a hint of competitive spirit, we set off to uncover the caches scattered throughout the town.
As we continued our quest, we encountered a variety of caches hidden in creative and unexpected locations. Some were tucked away in trees, while others required a bit of a scramble to reach. The diverse terrain of St. Arnaud added an extra layer of adventure to the search.
Throughout the day, laughter echoed through the streets as we navigated the twists and turns of the town, supporting and teasing each other along the way. We shared stories, jokes, and even some friendly banter about who had the sharpest eyes or the quickest reflexes when it came to finding caches. It was truly a joyous experience, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
As the day drew to a close, we gathered at the town's pub for a Parma and sticky date pudding, washed down with a few drinks.
Reflecting on our time in St. Arnaud, we realized that geocaching was more than just finding hidden caches. It was about coming together as a crew, sharing laughter, and creating lasting bonds. We were grateful for the opportunity to explore this charming town and immerse ourselves in the thrill of the hunt.
With tired but content smiles, we marked our names in the logbook, packed up our gear, and bid farewell to St. Arnaud, promising to return for more geocaching adventures in the future. As we drove away, memories of the day's laughter and camaraderie warmed our hearts, reminding us that the real treasure lies not in the physical caches but in the experiences we shared.
Until the next geocaching adventure!
Thanks Tyred n Cranky for the cache.

Camping in Starnard for the weekend, K9team and I headed out to make an early start this morning. On our 4th attempt to finish the stars geo art series and with all the final puzzles solved. Alas at the end of the day we still have 2 caches to come back and find once they are replaced. Next time we'll get them finished.
Along the way we found a few traditional and a multi and spent some time working on puzzles in the area to hopefully find tomorow.
Thanks to all the CO's for placing and maintaining the caches in St Arnaurd and surrounds. You are the reason we keep comming back here.
Sorry for the generic log.

This weekend has been a long time coming, it’s been way to long since Ghihash and I got away on a camping trip and last week while having dinner I asked if we could collaborate on the final 2 stars for the Geo art series in St Arnaud, somehow things we had struggled to get in the puzzles the last time we tried to solve these stars finally made sense “Hooray”. So this weekend we finished our last two stars (except for 2 DNF’s) and got our highest caches in one day (50)

Yes, we remembered this great night cache.
Such a shame it needed to be archived.
It’s a lovely day cache, but there is something eerily special about finding a night cache.
Half to see this nice sized cache repurposed.

We arrived in St Arnaud on Sunday and decided to stay for a couple of days before continuing our journey to Bendigo. We caught up with our good friends Tyred n Cranky and Fuf009, while we were here we also caught up with ChooknChunk.
In our time here we found many high quality caches that we expect to find from these CO's, there will be many Favs passed onto these high quality caches.

We haven't been up to St Arnaud for a while, and some new caches up there have since accumulated. So a trip up was planned for today, and to top it off, the weather was absolutely perfect too.
We fondly remember the night cache. How disappointing that someone seems to feel that those reflectors shouldn't be there any more. Anyway, we were grateful that the final has been turned into a traditional so it's there for posterity. TFTC Tyred n Cranky.

Rutherglen Mega Trip. [^] Day 11 - Myself and Anymules are still making our way back to S.A. via a convoluted route which just happened to have caches we wanted. [^] After staying overnight at Bendigo we were up early and doing more caches before heading over to St. Arnaud and surrounds. Into Horsham for dinner and onto Kaniva for our last overnight stop.
That looks very familiar. [^] made for a quick find here.

Today we were in the area with a group of other cachers to help possums celibate his birthday with a camping caching weekend. As we were based at Teddington Reserve. Once we had cleaned that area out we headed into town with micaparamedic to see what we could find.
It is a shame that some people have to ruin the game for others but as we know this happens a lot.
very happy that you decided to reincarnate this one as a trad. We followed the GPSr's to GZ where a familiar looking container was located right where the needle was pointing.
We added our names to the log book and re hid as found.
Many thanks Tyred n Cranky for bringing us back here, looks different in day time.

Unfortunately, I didn't get to do this as a night cache like my partner did, but I am so glad you re-purposed it and keep it going in another guise. Thank you Tryed n Cranky.
When dalerious and I were planning this Christmas getaway we were trying to pick a place that still had some quality caches for him to find and fulfil my insatiable desire to get that little bit closer to his stat's so we would be on par for the various challenge caches we have signed, and yet to sign .
St Arnaud and surrounds was picked to fill in all those gaps, and more.
