Find number 14529 at 12:33:49pm on Thursday the 24 October 2024We're on our way to WA Goes Big, travelling from Croydon (Melbourne, Victoria) with a caravan in tow and making a leisurely caching holiday across the Nullarbor and back.Well, WA Goes Big is done for another year and we are on our way home again now, via Perth, Kalgoorlie and the Nullarbor but slowly over the next five weeks SmileToday we headed off from Burra on our way to Berri via Eudunda grabbing a few more local geocaches as we go.A nice quick grab on the way through today.**Thanks for placing this cache Freddo**---*WOW, so much happening at home in Victoria*Dont forget to log your will attend for Victorias first ever Block Party in March 2025, the [**The Sunbury Event**](https://coord.info/GCAP417).Theres also all those lists of amazing geocaches at [Geocaching Victorias List webpage]( https://geocachingvictoria.com.au/information/great-caching-lists), go check them out.

Day two travelling to Lameroo Ludicrous Legwarmers with Tweety2 & Bubbles8 and it was time to collect another cache that none of us had previously found. A blocky was required after the navigator gave insufficient warning to the driver. Finished the Wherigo & headed to the final. I let Tweety2 & Bubbles8 search one side while I headed to check out the other. My side didnt have any obvious spots so I went back and joined the others immediately locating it. TFTC!

After a quick pit stop, we toured around Morgan and found this one on our journey. Bubbles8 and I were looking in all the wrong places. Martini.989 comes forward and says where were you looking? finding it in the first place she looked. I blame my centre of gravity being lower to the ground.

WA Big Trip Winter 2024. Day 5 - Morgan area day. I have been looking at the caches around Morgan each time I was to the south on the Stuart Highway. I decided this trip would be a good time to spend a day and do what caches I could in the area. I wanted a ferry ride, so I went over the Morgan ferry for two caches the other side of the river and back via the Cadell ferry. Great to see them both in action. Next were caches to the West of town. A few singles, my favorite of the day was the Eba Siding. I was able to do all the Tour Down under caches and then head to the remaining Tour de France caches before heading back to camp for a late lunch. It did not take at all as long as I feared it would.Back from Cadell, it was time for the Westward leg. A nice simple and accurate where-i-go to get started. I am not quite tall enough, but I managed. Thanks for the cache Freddo46408.3 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & 2013 Caching the Wetlands A#257**Albida**

Today we are driving from Mildura to Crystal Brook. It was time to stretch the legs and Morgan seemed like a good place to do that. We took time to visit the port, drive around town and see some of them more historic buildings before beginning this cartridge. As always in this series, it was quickly sorted, which we do appreciate when we are travelling and we made a short detour to GZ to sign the log here. Thanks Freddo Domsky

It's been a while since our last get together to spend a day caching with Weredunn4 and Cheezel1961. With all the stuff occurring in each of our daily lives and work etc, the stars seem to align today for an outing out together, targeting the TDF series. Plus a few in easy range, hey were are out this way, may as well do them. Plus the usual target of interesting, unique D/T grids as well as high T caches. Thanks for this one, an easy find.TFTC SL

I am not sure how I eventually managed to find GZ of this cache as I find it virtually impossible to remember how to use wherugo. But then I read someone else's log and next thing I knew I was standing in the general vicinity of the cache. It took me ages to put the hint and D/T rating together. That led me to the cache and now my name appears on the log . TFTC Freddo the non-believer. That part I did get

Well my whirl wind tour of 5 states in 3 weeks has started and after reaching the SA border it was time to locate a few caches here or there as I won’t be doing that much caching on this trip as I’m with muggle friends.
Well I have reached my destination for the night so I was able to sneak in this one before they arrived up here as well.
I love this town and the caravan is a great spot to stop but I’m guessing it would be quite busy in the holidays period.
A nice easy Wherigo that lead me straight to GZ for a quick find.

Thanks Freddo the Non Believer TFTC.

It's the first of the month and I was up in Morgan after a FTF. Managed to find 2 others from the same CO while there and then went pagan and found five Used2Bs, one after the other, on the long and winding road home. The last one of these was in Eden Valley after which I kept heading north, away from home, for a puzzle letterbox that I felt I had to find after the trouble it had given me. Finally started towards home with a couple of puzzles and then a couple of Lava multis to finish a very satisfying day out.
Wasn't going to leave town without finding this one.
Thanks Freddo the Non Believer for starting this nice series and adding this cache to it.
Cache #13316 for me.

This long weekend, I and J plus the little one visited riverland. We spent two and a half days, visited Nuriootpa, Barmera, Berri, Loxton, Renmark, SA/VIC border, Waikerie, Morgan, and nearby towns. On the trip, we found 54 caches on the way, including Traditional Cache, Puzzle Cache, Multi Cache, Wherigo Cache, Letterbox Hybrid Cache, and Lab Adventure caches.
This was the last find for the whole trip. Also the only Wherigo cache we tried during the trip.
Luckily, I got the signal to play with the Wherigo. Then I revealed the final location, which is within walk distance. Ran to final location, and found the cache easily. Signed the log, and placed it back.
Thanks for the Wherigo cache, Freddo the Non Believer.

Praise be to Freddo for hiding and maintaining another cache on our churches of SA past geo-map Cool

Travelling all over the countryside - searching, spotting strange items and signing cache logs using some or all of the resources of GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife), Whereyougo, Garmin Montana 750i, Montana 680t, Etrex 35, Samsung S21u, Samsung S9, with Geocaching App, c:Geo, or Geooh Go, and Android Auto and other maps... or often with just a guyess or plain old dumb luck WinkCoolBig Grin
Heaps of that luck stuff actually !!!

*All the online logs are composed and published with GSAK of course.*

Caution! Caching is a very hazardous activity!
Look out for sand, mud, snakes, surprise cliffs, roos, wombats, things falling from trees, bulldust, and floods, and try not to get tetanus from rusty mint tins and don't fall off your ladder...
-- -- -- -- -- -- -- and do watch out for germs and bugs !!! . [xx(]

Make Travel Bugs the Only bugs you share and pass on Wink
Keep a safe distance - cache the countryside Big Grin

Truly fantastic of all those placing quality caches out and about around the country areas,
in sensible safe places especially! - it keeps our game fun, and interesting Cool

Appreciate you reading all this extra addition to the log word count! There's a challenge somewhere out there, apparently! You win a virtual smiley for the effort and getting to the end of the log Wink Maybe if I worked out where I could do it and go back to normal logs again ! If you find the challenge let me know and we can put an end to these long logs !!!
