Mrs SKI particularly enjoys a street library. This was a tricky hide.On our numerous current trips backwards and forwards to Tumut we decided that short breaks in Wangaratta to search for a few caches would be a good way to break the journey. There were some new ones as well as a number we did not have time to look for at the Mega.Always a great place to visit.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Jamin Appleford.**SKI Pair****

This weekend was out annual Christmas do at Bonnie Doon, this meant I could escape over to Wangarratta to find a few caches, I had seen the puzzles published and as many know I like to keep up with solving new puzzles, thankfully I had them all solved so they were My main target today. I was lucky enough to get help from an old friend who was local to the area and owned a large ladder, we had a great time catching up and just sharing the ups and downs of life. This is one of the caches found today. The weather was just perfect. Ok so this is a new one, have not seen this type of hide before so it gets a FAV.Some interesting stats, out of the 27 caches found there were 17 Micros, 5 smalls, 3 others (that were really micro) and 2 virtual's. There were plenty of spots that would have taken a regular or a large but none were found today. Thanks Jamin Appleford for the cache.

Ok I've done a few library caches this was by far the hardest and most distracting.. trying not to get distracted by possible future reads I searched and searched and searched...and flipped and flipped and flipped ....I PAF but before they could look at all their notes I finally found this sneaky hide .well played fav from me .

Checking in again whilst out with the kids.
It’s really disappointing to find the log sheet just out in the open rather than where it’s supposed to be hidden.

Please re-hide the log well so that cachers all get the same experience searching and finding as it’s intended, and so that I’m not needing to replace the log sheet constantly.

Thanks

This is one of the cutest things I've ever seen. A street library, that's the craziest thing ever!

Great find with the GeoKids tonight on a little night caching adventure to end the school holidays! Have done other libraries and didn’t expect this at all. Found reasonably quickly though. TFTC

After spending the morning exploring the Warbies Sunrise track with Byker152 the plan was to grab some lunch before heading over to Eldorado so I could pick up all the CSI caches. Byker suggested I have a go at this one as it's very clever.

I've completed a few library caches before so had a bit of an idea on what I might be looking for. However I was very wrong. Took a bit to find this one a very unique hide! for that you get FP.

TFTC!

Checked on the cache as Cassie and I rode past today. Please replace the log sheet properly in its hiding place so that it can be found by the next cacher as intended.

Wow! So many books! After reading the hint, I had a feel around and bingo! Had my hands on the cache quite quickly. Signed the log, replaced exactly as found, and donated a book! Thanks so much for bringing me here, I didn’t even know it existed. Thanks heaps for a fun find!

Mr Tardis had a good search here, you could say I spent a good 20 minutes searching, then I finally located the well hidden cache, in a place that I had searched before, but obviously not good enough.

First cache for 2023! Yay!

Signed the log. Thanks for the cache Jamin Appleford.

A trip from Canberra, ACT to Whittlesea, Vic with a few side quests for LGAs. TFTC.
A quick find and sign assuming I had the right book.

Logbook has been replaced in its intended hiding spot.
Can future finders please ensure it is replaced properly so that those who come after them get the intended experience.
Thanks

Awesome!

If I’d known I could have shared ‘some literary happiness’ but this driving by was spontaneous and therefore unplanned. Certainly a few odd titles in there that must reflect an eclectic neighbourhood. Not sure where it’s supposed to be but the bingo moment was inadvertent when I saw the escapee log book - either way it’s now on the top shelf! TFTC and the fun.

TFTC for bringing us to the Street Library. We do not see many of these back home. Would like to say a quick find but took us longer than it should. Some good books in here.

Wow, What a big and different street library here. Searched through all the books, couldn't find any to tickle my fantasy. Found the cache, stealthy signed our name as the lady walked past with her dog, returned and back to the car. Looking forward to seeing the other library caches as well. TFTC

Got notified last week that the power was going out at the office which meant the server would not be available. Outcome would be a frustrating day with jo work done do I made the call and had a flex. Meant I had a day free so why not go caching. With all the love at Rutherglen lately poor old Wangaratta is not being visited much. Many caches today hadn’t been logged since January (which was a tad painful as many past logs were generic Megs ones). Original intention was to use the locationless cache to boost my best day to 8 (plus AdLabs) but the plan was foiled by flooding - didn’t realise how many caches would be inaccessible (too many to log). In the end I did end up at Rutherglen to get a few different types but will save the bonus cache for another day (no Earthcaches available to collect). However did find all 33 (plus 5 AdLab points) that I actually looked for – but a lot more I didn’t try as access was blocked by water.

At this point I decided to cut my losses and try for a few caches to the west of town before heading back to Rutherglen. This one was Interesting recycling (I like the idea) and could have been tough but glimpsed a flash of plastic as I rustled in the books. All quiet do plenty of time to browse. A good mix of titles in the library.

#19523. Out and about with Robmc this morning doing a few chores and gathering a few caches. Last one for today as we headed back in to town. This one hasn't quite got the charm of the others but fortunately Rob managed to locate the sneaky hide, so we added our names and continued on home.

Thanks Jamin Appleford

A day for some library visits with BettyBoo3747.
Didn't find anything to read, but it was interesting to see the setups around the area.
Back into town for this one. A good sized library here. Good to see the container being recycled like this.
Nice hide.
Thanks, Robmc.

Mostly muggled out at 7am today and cache blind as well. Came back after our usual Wednesday night activity and SL at 9.45pm. A very impressive street library facility for the local book worms. We didn’t find a book to our liking, but we did find the cache! #8921 TFTC Book Worm

What a great idea! I didn’t know this was here.
Happy for a FTF so close to home on the way to work. Used the hint as I don’t have a lot of time. TFTC Jamin and an excellent spot. Fav Point too!
SL at 9.05am.
