A nice little trip around the towns street libraries had us finding a few Geocaches today. TFTC
This took longer than it should have but its signed and Ive got another smiley. The log is a bit wet though
With the morning free thought, a trip to Wang was on the cards to grab a few caches. Im quite enjoying these little town libraries. Swapped a book whilst locating and signing the cache.
Found on a short Vic trip with Roostaman. Thanks for placing and maintaining all the caches for all of us to find, Harquin80, ***MrsRoosta***
Found on a typical Summer day with MrsRoosta. On our way south with a few days stopover.A quick find here, unlike the other 2 libraries. Thanks for the cache Harquin80, ***Roostaman***
On our numerous current trips backwards and forwards to Tumut we decided that short breaks in Wangaratta to search for a few caches would be a good way to break the journey. There were some new ones as well as a number we did not have time to look for at the Mega.Always a great place to visit.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Harquin80.**SKI Pair****
Mr Tardis stopped by to find this one while in the area. After a short search the cache was found and the log signed. A nicely built and well stocked library. Thanks for the cache Harquin80.
This weekend was out annual Christmas do at Bonnie Doon, this meant I could escape over to Wangarratta to find a few caches, I had seen the puzzles published and as many know I like to keep up with solving new puzzles, thankfully I had them all solved so they were My main target today. I was lucky enough to get help from an old friend who was local to the area and owned a large ladder, we had a great time catching up and just sharing the ups and downs of life. This is one of the caches found today. The weather was just perfect. Have to laugh how many books did we check before I finally found the cache. Some interesting stats, out of the 27 caches found there were 17 Micros, 5 smalls, 3 others (that were really micro) and 2 virtual's. There were plenty of spots that would have taken a regular or a large but none were found today. Thanks Harquin80 for the cache.
Found this one, will message the owner asks there needs to be maintenance as it was out in the openCheers though
Found by Mary and David at 16:20. A great cache and location. M borrowed a Matthew Reilly novel, which will be returned to a Melbourne Library. There is an Ad Lab in Geelong highlighting local street libraries. Our thanks to Harquin80.
I need a few more caches to get the latest souvenir so a plan was hatched that would help but cut down the kilometres that I need to drive. Originally the plan was to go to a Rutherglen but with the Roam about long weekend on I thought the wineries might be a bit busy. So headed down the Hume to Wangaratta where quite a few options were about. Forgot that a dam on the river masks the rain and once again the rivers were in flood preventing access to a few spots. Did a variety of caches and was a pleasant few hours.
Love the street library caches in Wangaratta. Didn’t realise this was from a different CO and a read of the cache page would have made me slightly less reluctant to look further / which I needed to do to find the container. A nice first hide and glad I detoured to locate it.
TFTC Harquin80 - have a FP

These street libraries are a great location to hide a geocache. A sneaky hide. Found with Bucrog52. TFTC
Staying an extra night at our shack in Punkah with middle child and Roxy dog whilst hubby and the two other kids went home today. We decided to tackle some HSS series and caches in Wang.
What a pretty sight greeted us here. Beautiful lights adorned the street tree.
The cache was found quickly.
My daughter even found a book she liked.
Thank you for the cache here Harquin80

Nice cache, love these little libraries! Have done all 3 in Wangaratta now, books swapped at each one, glad we came prepared! TFTC
I found this cache while slowly meandering my way from Adelaide to Rutherglen to attend the Mega Event over Easter, seeking out some caches of interest along the way.
I met up with Freddo and camped near Mansfield last night, before heading off on our separate ways and catching up again later in the afternoon.
The cache was in good condition.
Thanks Harquin80 for the cache.

TFTC, hopefully I didn’t wake anyone up as I find it at 10:40pm!

Initially searched through all the books but came up empty handed! Then I read the hint and some previous logs, and bingo I had the cache in hand quickly! Signed the log, replaced exactly as found and donated a book. Thanks so much for a fun cache and for bringing me to this fantastic street library!
Sorry for the late log. We found this on the 6-11. I'll change the date later. A very quick find for today. TFTC
Thanks for bringing us to this tidy part of town, and a great little library. TFTC
On our way to the Warby's, in pursuit of some waterfall caches, thought we would visit the street libraries around town before heading out...
Made hard work of this one, always pays to read the description before diving-in for the find, TFTC and the book Harquin80

#20390. Another wet day (how tiresome they are) but I still had some maintenance to do so we were aiming for the King Valley via Wangaratta. A quick pull up and retrieval. Added our names to the log sheet and continued on our way.
Thanks Harquin80
Thanks Harquin80
A maintenance day for BettyBoo3747 (and a few caches on the way)
These are a great idea. Unfortunately again we didn't bring any books to swap.
A nice hide so the books don't get ransacked.
Thanks, Robmc.

Found with Kittykatch, Joolay, Youban and Tankengine while in the area caching for the weekend.
We were lucky with the weather having the worse already pass us, but some roads were still closed from the flooding.
This cache: A quick find, but unfortunately a poor return by us, dropping the cache. But thank you to Joolay for knocking on the door of the CO and then to the CO for retrieving it for us ?? Tftc!!!

One of many library caches I have done around Australia . Quick and easy to get to. Kutgw
Bonnie Doon weekend
Out caching with Joolay, Youban, Tankengine and dty73. We picked up info from the starting coords on the way south and came back today to find GZ. I was perplexed at WP2 about how to proceed and sent the CO a message however between us we worked it out and headed to the final location. A few attempts to open the lock and we had the CIH. A fun multi in a new style for me. Thanks for the hide Harquin80

Wonderful to be visiting the area with Dty73, Youban, Tankengine and Kittykatch. The rally was canceled because of the floods but already had the accommodation booked and paid for so came anyway. Glad the rain has stopped and the sun is out.
Thanks for getting me out and about Harquin80
I assume the person who owns this library is very aware that it’s here, and takes good care of the library and the cache. I couldn’t help but feel like I was being watched through the window hehe

TFTC Harquin80 for your cache Street Library - Harquin Library. We needed to duck into town from Milawa where we are housesitting. Had a quick look for nearby caches and saw this one. Nice quick and easy find on a sunny morning. Now to get back to finish the mowing before the rains start again.

We are in Wangaratta for the Victorian Bushwalking Federation Event.
In this case the Benalla Bushwalking club, together with the Warby walkers and the Boarder Bushwalking club are hosting this annual event.
They arrange 20 or more different walks around Wangaratta and host all the other Victorian Bushwalking clubs.
There are Walks going at Mt Buffalo, Mt Samaria,
The Warbys, Mt Stanley, Lake Moodemere, Mt Pilot, Chilten NP, and lots more in addition to 3 cycle trips of 35-60 km.
It is running from today and over the weekend.
So while Mrs Riddell will be socializing and madly waking up Mt. Stanley and stop the Warbys, Mr Riddell will be caching his head off!
So thanks for presenting your first cache.
It was a fast and easy find.
While we were parked and signing the log, a male driver pulled out of the driveway. We simultaneously waved.
Not sure if the CO lives here or not.

#5086 FTF @ 1436. Snuck out from work to do the weekly grocery shop. En route it occurred to me to check whether the new cache in town had been claimed yet and it hadn't. Although not a fan of residential caching, it was pi$$ing down rain so I thought there would be little chance of many muggles about. This was correct and before too long the cache had been collected, signed and replaced. The logsheet is long and took some re-rolling up. Admired the nifty work and details on the library box and it certainly has a good collection of books inside. TFTC Harquin80 and well done on putting out your first hide!
