Disabling this one until I can check whether it's still there. This one is not a difficult cache, so 2 DNFs suggest it might be gone.
With working in the neighbourhood I decided to grab this cache. Park close to GZ. Funny thing I’ve been in this Bushland a while ago. But didn’t have enough time to grab more.
Rupertandgiles thank you for placing and maintaining this cache for my enjoyment.

Found it!! Thought the hint might have been a red herring to start with but no, just had to go with where the GPS took me!

Had a great time with the geokid today out for her second caching adventure. Thank you for the caches.
To get to this one from the previous one, I think we took the scenic route along MBZ tracks which were not on the map but they headed in the right direction and NobbysNuts and I finally arrived for a quick find.

Quick stop and find by the mum. Continuing our final 5 georun. Love my fam. Tftc
When we walked in there were five teenagers that passed us and funnily enough a couple of them were only carrying towels. They were clearly off for a swim somewhere, but we didn’t stalk them long enough to see where they ended up. It was just good to see some young people out enjoying nature rather than locked in their bedrooms shooting dudes online.
I was just a bit too old to join the online gaming community. My heyday was back in the 20 cent arcade game period but I have seen my son playing and have learnt plenty of new swear words and what the kids of today say when they are shot by their friends (and former friends) in a game.
We never saw any swimming holes on our walk today but it must be in here somewhere. Maybe it is just better to be virtually shot online than swim in some mud and bitten by an eel. tftc

On the hunt for a few special attribute caches for a specific north side cache
On a tight timeframe so it was a bit of a challenge.
Cheers

Phew it is hot today, the cache is in good condition, and I felt energised on my way home after being led around here today

Initial plans today were for KBreeAHH, Ponchomon11 and I to join SaintsMadHouse in a crafting morning not too far from here. However, while SaintsMadHouse was in her element, the rest of us were struggling to find our crafting mojo, and decided to leave her to it. KBreeAHH did have another engagement later on anyway, so we decided to head back to her place, and hang out for a bit before dropping her off. Then Ponchomon11 and I were going to grab some lunch and begin caching, waiting for SaintsMadHouse to finish her crafting and join us.
Well as it turned out, we ran later than she did, so all of a sudden she was messaging she was done right after we had left lunch.
We chose to meet up here and do the caches in this area, as Ponchomon11 said it would be a nice and flat area for SaintsMadHouse, as he had done them not long ago. As it turns out he may have forgotten some of this track.
A jogger charged past us in the heat today on our way to this cache. Annoyingly it was his second time past us, this time from the opposite direction - only complete weirdos jog anywhere on a day like today!.
With him having passed us, we headed in to make a quick find.
Thanks for the cache Rupertandgiles.

Another slight detour to get to this one, but once again down hill on the fire road is not so bad. Hiding rules have certainly changed in here. Not so long ago it was almost impossible to put a cache in here. Hiding in logs and hollow trees was not allowed. This one is a great example of why. The cache was out in the open - I assume turfed out of some creature's home nearby. Replaced it in the most obvious spot. Tucked ot over towards the edge in the hope that it stays put.
About to duck off the track to look for this one when voices were heard. Had to play it cool as a pair of walkers passed.
Got unlucky and overlooked the hiding spot first go around. The hoard of ants crawling on my shoes made me leave and look somewhere else. The ability of the bush to turn everything into a hiding spot then had me looking everywhere. Came back to the initial spot, dug a bit deeper and uncovered the buried cache.

Have been saving these caches first a day when I would need then for a personal challenge but as I am close to completing that anyway I took the dog for a walk around the circuit this arvo.
Find number 28321 for me.
Thank you Rupertandgiles for hiding this geocache.

Going for a walk on this circuit this morning and checking the series. All good here. Didn't see any glass at GZ but there is grass and leave litter around so take care on approach.
We had intended a walk through here over a week ago but had to cancel due to illness at the last minute but we're back with renewed vigour, (in the interim another cache has been placed, so that's fortuitous for us)
During our walk around the circuit we came across,,, and . I think we were the only geocachers. This reserve has something for everyone.
We did the circuit in an anti-clockwise fashion.
Geobuddy found this one but as is her custom, she left it insitu so I could find it.
Log signed and cache returned to where found, for the many finders who will come after us.
Thanks Rupertandgiles

Coming back from Victoria Point, I decided on a small detour to collect this new series of caches… I remember them being published as it caused the zoom meeting I was on to be quickly brought to a conclusion… and I think it was raining…
An enjoyable walk around the circuit… and a nice quick find at GZ… tftc…

Saw these new caches come out and they were reasonably close to home but I wasn't going into that area at night let alone while it's raining so put them in the too hard basket until now.
Parked the car in Ford Rd carport and headed off. I had to be careful of the steep walk in a few place so as to protect my new knee but I soon had them all found, signed and replaced as found. TFTC

I saw this new series on the map and decided on a pleasant Sunday morning bush walk. Quick find here. Left a trackable. Thanks for the cache
Out on a bike ride with Mr9 and Chamad. Mr 9 was dragging his heels this morning so I think he would deny how much fun he had.
Not usually a [FTF] hunter, we saw these come out last night Not good to go bush bashing at 9pm, so when I woke at 5am, checked the weather radar and thought, well, its an early start this morning.
Nice to have done new ones around.
Log signed and cache replaced as found at 6:37 am on 9 September 2022. TFTC, Rupertandgiles

I was sitting with Triple turmoil working on plans for Charleville when the sound of new caches hits the phone. “Hey they are not that far away”, but there was no convincing her for a walk at 10pm. I then set my phone for an early morning ride, I had to be at Coorparoo by 8 am anyways.
The morning comes and I look outside to see it is rainy but clearing, oh I have to go anyways so off I went. I parked up and I see a familiar car in the parking lot. Onto the bike and I catch up to the other guys (Hatzofff, Granny and RoddyC) while they were in there walk around. Ah it was such a nice morning for a walk and a bike ride.
Found all three new caches and even had a little dig around for a missing #3, no luck. Thank you for these caches and the FTF goodies along the way. Nice good hides, with our names in the logs we were off to search for other caches in the area.
